General Information

Name: Niklaus Abel Nemeth

Date of Birth: May 6th,1994

Appearance

Abel has an olive undertone, dark brown hair and light blue eyes. He has a rectangle face with a sharp jawline. He has a prominent nose, a prominent chin and his eyebrows are full. He’s eyes are slightly droopy and his ears are small with a slight tilt. He has thin lips, an enchanting smile with pearly white teeth. His canines are quite sharp.

Abel is a muscular guy and puts efforts into keeping himself in shape with occasional sport outings, most notably football (soccer)which balanced out his wacky dietary habits. He measures approximately 6’3 ft and weighs in the average. His broad shoulders does compensate for his slightly slim figure.

Abel does have a few blemishes. He has a small scar on his lip below his left nostril. He has a few scars from daily life but his most notable scar is one on his right shoulder as a result of a bullet.

Backstory

Abel grew up loved and cherished by both of his parents, despite their early divorce. He was one of the best athletes in his school and the top of the class. He got to see his father in Hungary during the summer and live with his mother in Berlin for the rest of the year. Abel finished his baccalaureate in journalistic communication and Chinese in the honorary role then enrolled to finish a master in communication.

His father, Marton Abel Nemeth was a creative writer known for his dark poetry and political satire. Unfortunately, not a very known one despite having quite a few good work. Due to the nature of his career, he wasn’t wealthy and a bit of a pessimist. To Abel he was an amazing father but he could never stay with him longer than he wished for. In contrast, the mother of Abel was a well-known prosecutor in Germany who defended influential individuals such as political figures, celebrities, and CEOs. She was rich, famous, and extremely practical. She was quite a busy mother and could not pass as much time with her son as she wished for. She provided him with a mansion, food, the top brand clothes, many extracurricular activities and all a kid could wish for… except a mother at home. Thankfully, Abel understood his parents. He knew that they loved him even if they weren’t always there when he needed them.

Being a preppy little boy, it comes to no surprise that he attended the prestigious University of Berlin in Germany where he studied a double major in journalistic communication and chinese. He was the president of the vegan club and photography club, the secretary of the environmentalist club as well as an active member of the dragon boat team, the journalistic club and golf club. He was quite an accomplished fella.

Alas, happiness doesn’t last forever. In his early 20s, his father was diagnosed with a terminal cancer despite his young age. Abel dropped out from his master's program, despite his mother’s opposition, and moved temporarily to Hungary. He aided his father for the remaining weeks of his life until lung cancer took him away. It was hard, very hard for him to part away from his role model, his father. He took his time to grieve him, but it was the beginning of the alerts. Abel was too preoccupied with his father that he failed to notice all of the new orders in place. Travels were tighter than ever and it took a lot from his mother’s connections to get back to Germany. Life was just about to get harder as this new pandemic made permanent damage to mankind.

He lost his mother during the last phase of the pandemic, when the dead were resurrecting. She was arguing with some doctor when a man, stood up from a bed and walked behind her. He placed his hand on top of her shoulder and to Abel’s horror, plunged his teeth into her neck. She stumbled to the ground letting the loudest scream as she pissed blood. Abel rushed to her aid, trying to stop the bleeding as he asked the doctor to do something but that very doctor ended up between three patients attacking him the same way. His mother’s eyes, he would never forget them. The split of second between being alive and dead. He dragged her out of there, holding her against him as he ran back. He could not part with her, but soldiers forced him to throw her in the mass graves dug up near the final wall separating inner berlin from the rest outskirts, the last fortress. He was stuck for a week in the mass quarantine, making sure only the healthiest would pass through… he just so happened to be one of them. He also had a voice that people listened to in Germany, a voice of hope. But that voice no longer lived within him. He didn’t believe in hope, not after what he witnessed. This fake facade the military tried to keep, they had no control… at least he did not believe it… until he saw his best friend from university. Of all places, of all people, he managed to be there. He managed to survive for so long and so did he. That gave him a new wind of life, of hope.

The life within the inner wall was hard. There was not enough food. Winter was hard on them and people looked miserable, to be honest. Only a handful lived decently. He was one of them. He worked for the higher levels, filming and writing speeches to give hope to the people. That helped him survive so long, even in this world...His words...It was the way he coped with it all. He ate well and could dress well… Managed to have his own room without anyone bothering him. He was grateful and privileged, he knew it.

That life was tolerable, he could handle it for now. Unfortunately, the wall did not hold until the end of winter. By March, he was on his own. The military disappeared, he woke up to complete anarchy and scarce resources.

Pre-Existing Relationships: (OPEN)
Phoebe
  • Their mothers were best friends.
  • He was the BFF of her brother, Cameron.
  • When she hit puberty, they kind of stopped sticking together. He would only ever be around her because of Cameron.
  • When they moved to Paris, he remained in contact with Cameron only
  • At the death of his father, they reconnected through social media and spoke quite a lot, more than they ever did.
  • At the beginning of the pandemic, he managed to get back to Germany and lost contact with everyone because internet became extremely dysfunctional.
  • Met her and Cameron while being served the rations of the day. They remained together since then.

Personality

Abel is the person who sticks up for the underdog and people who don’t have a voice of their own. He is more of a leader and a person who isn’t afraid to voice an opinion. Even though he was labelled as a jock for most of his and friends with some bullies, he took a different route in life. He takes vested interest in the happiness and well-beings of his loved ones.

Abel’s genuine personality makes you fall in love with him. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and quick to come to their defense at the first sign of a threat. He is filled to the brim with love and affection, sweet to nearly everyone he comes across, and can typically see the beauty in most things. Abel’s kindness is sometimes exploited by other characters, but everyone values his good-natured spirit, as it often brings happiness to others, something Abel strives to accomplish regularly.

Skills:
  • Bodily-Kinesthetic: football, rugby, dragon boat, and wrestling.
  • Linguistic: poetry, chess, and spelling bee competition.
  • Mathematical: math club president back in high school.
  • Social: project development, community work, and charity trips, etc.
  • Musical: plays the piano quite well and good at beatboxing
  • Nature: outdoor camping, naturist lifestyle, vegan, etc.

Strengths:
  • Strong Legs: from playing rugby and football.
  • Spatial Awareness: strong ability to understand the relationship of objects in relation to changing positions.
  • Resilience: due to his parents divorce, but not exclusively, Abel grew to be very resilient. He is quite capable of withstanding quickly from difficult conditions, to spring back into shape after hardships.
  • Perception: Abel has strong senses. From hearing to smelling.
  • Communication: mostly comes from always having to work in teams.
  • Argumentativeness: he works in non-profit organizations to promote his ideals, it comes to no surprise especially since his mother is a strong lawyer.
  • Jack of All Trades: due to his wide array of interest, Abel grew to be capable of doing many different types of work.

Weaknesses:
  • Low Pain Threshold: he's always been quite pampered. He feels pain ten times worse than a normal person, or seems to from his reactions.
  • Weak Left Shoulder: from a bullet wound
  • Sees the Best in Everyone: even his worst enemy. Killing is a no go for him. He won’t budge from that, even in life or death situations. There is always an alternate possibility he says.
  • Stubbornness: he has a strong sense of what is right or wrong, which makes it very hard for him to integrate others opinions if it goes against his principles.
  • Trust: he will assume the best from you, so you can easily achieve his trust. He won’t necessarily let himself get fooled by the likes of you, but he just might.
  • Seasonal Allergies: *sneezes*
  • Minor Myopia: hence, the glasses.
  • Too Nice to be Real: most people think he is a hypocrite, too nice to be real type of guy.
  • Jack of All Trades: due to him being stretched between all of his interests, Abel could not fully master most of those work and isn’t always the most competent at any of them.

Name: Daniel Lee Bishop
Date of Birth: March 11, 1991 (Age-29)
Appearance:
5ac7c07984dea2b797d142e6ade978aa.jpg

Has short brown hair, bright blue eyes and a scar along his left cheek from a hunting accident. Stands 6 feet 2 inches and usually wears a black t-shirt under a grey flannel over-shirt, faded blue jeans and black hiking boots. He has small hoop nose piercing and wears a broken watch given to him by his daughter.

Backstory: Daniel was born in the United States of America, in a small town on the state line of Colorado and Oklahoma. His life was pretty much what you would expect for a boy raised by good parents that wanted everything for their only child. When he was about twelve years old, he was on a hunting trip with his father to bag some deer to sell, since they were running low on money at the time. Daniel, being the curious kid he was, split off from his dad and went to hunt on his own. However, he was shot by another hunter, since he wasn't wearing bright colors. Luckily, the bullet only grazed his cheek, leaving a nasty, but awesome scar for him to remember it by.

When he was seventeen, he realized his love for the wilderness and guns. Almost every day, he would be out either exploring the forests near his house or taking his fathers rifle and scouting for squirrel. That lasted for a few years, and when he was twenty-one, he decided to move to Germany. He was of German descent, so it made his choice all the more better. His parents didn't want to see him go, but they wished him well on his journey.

A few more years pass by, and one fateful day at the local bar, he met his future wife, Kate. She was American as well, and moved to Germany for a better life than back home in the states. For Daniel, this was a dream come true. Who else could find a woman in a different country that loved the same stuff as he did, and be beautiful at the same time. They dated for a few months before deciding to get married.

Another couple years and one drunken night later, they would welcome their daughter Jordan into the world. She was about as healthy and beautiful as they come, let alone the joy. At the same time, Daniel had snagged a job at a white collar job. It wasn't anything too fancy, and he would have picked a different one, but the pay was good, so who was he to complain.

When the day everything started, Daniel was hanging out with a couple of his pals at their house. He decided he needed to get home and make sure his family was alright, much to the annoyance of his friends. Daniel made plans to get to one of the safe-zones in the next city over, in Frankfurt.. As him and his family reached the city, they saw just how bad it was. They managed to get close to the entrance, but as they were about to enter, a group of Stage 2 infected attacked the cars on the road. Still not knowing what the outbreak was, Daniel tried everything in his power to not kill anyone and get to walls of the Safe-Zone. However, among the chaos, he ended up getting separated from his wife and daughter, and upon trying to go out to find them, he punched a guard. It forced him to be exiled, and he felt he had lost everything. He searched far and wide, but no sign of Kate or Jordan could be found.

Now, Daniel is still surviving in the wasteland of Germany, a nomad looking for his long lost family. He made a promise to them...and it's one he would keep until he either found them...or died.

Personality: Daniel is quite friendly at times, welcoming anyone with open arms as long as they returned the favor, and is at peace when surrounded by the wilderness. Nothing could make him feel happier though when he is surrounded by like-minded people, though. As for his downsides, he has times where he will hold grudges, such as once in his middle-school years when a kid smacked his head into a pile of mashed potatoes. He would never forgive the kid as long as he lived. He also has some slight anger issues, but if you can just be nice and not pressure him into doing things he'd rather not, he'll be the nicest person you can meet.

Skills: Outdoor Survival(He spent most of his life in the wild. He knows what kinds of plants you can eat, how to make a fire out of just sticks etc., etc.)

Shooting(During his younger years, his father took him hunting and to the range. He said every boy should learn to shoot, as a 'war is coming')

Technology(Most of his jobs worked with computers and video games. He is skilled at coding and design, but not as well as he would like them)

People Person(Daniel has a friendly aura around him, it seems. He can make friends with just about anyone due to his charismatic nature)

Weaknesses: Anger(No one knows why, but Daniel tends to get quite angry when someone pokes fun at him or the such. He forgives them easily, though)

Can't let little things go(He does hold grudges against people if they do something that is small, but stupid as well)

Semi-depressed(Since the disappearance of his family, he sometimes goes in bouts of sadness, sometimes lasting from minutes to days)

Pre-Existing Relationships: Katelyn Bishop(Disappeared)

Name: Christopher "Chalky" Lovekin
Appearance: Short, platinum blonde hair that remains unruly and unbrushed. His eyes are a strange ember color, and his freckled pale face is contsantly covered in soot and ash. His teeth have an inhumane canine appearance to them, and his face is rounded and quite feminine. He is incredibly underweight, and quite short for a male. His attire usually consists of baggy tank-tops and tiny shorts, as he constantly finds himself sweaty and hot for no particular reason.
DOB: May 6th, 1999.

Backstory: Christopher Lovekin, born and raised in Australia, has gine through severe effects of a radiation outbreak. His father worked in a givernment laboratory, but quit after realzing what they were using his genius to do. Shortly after Chalky's father quit, a raduation outbreak devastated the country. Chalky, his brother, and his father found themselves living in small barracks for ten months, before leaving to find that humans were still alive on the island. Chalky's mother, who had left the family when Chalky was around two years old due to finding that their father had been involved in an affair, had found the starving family and demanded that Chalky's father hand over Chalky and his brother. His father resisted, so his mother then shot him. The two managed to escape, but Chalky lost track of his older brother, leaving him scared and alone in the middle of a wasteland where it was kill or be killed. 2003. Chalky's 15 now. He escapes Australia through a boat he had stolen from a group of what could be called thugs, risking his own life by sailing out into the ocean with little to no knowledge on how boats worked. He came to America, expecting it to be much different from Australia, but it is not. It's just like the barren wasteland he used to call his home, yet the people here aren't as
Bloodthirsty and brutal. Although life is easier, food is still scarce and he still remains unhydrated.

Personality: The radiation from Australia caused Chalky to become quite the scatter-brain. He's forgetful, sensitive, and has very violent tendencies. He can laugh at nearly anything, and can make a joke out of any situation, no matter the case. He tends to act rather insanely, and can be prettu flirtatious at times.

Skills: Chalky is incredibly fast, and also quite intelligent. He also has a talent for inventing, as he builds his own bombs, which are what he uses as weapons.
Strengths: Chalky's speed makes him a hard target, and he's also great at distracting other's.
Weaknesses: Chalky has trouble staying still, as he is constantly restless. He also has a deathly fear of the ocean. His stubborness can often get in the way of getting things done, and he loves to brag, which can easily piss off the enemy.
Pre-existing relationships: Dante Coleman, they were Pen-pals for a while, but still have yet to meet each other. This is frustrating for Chalky as he likes Dante quite a bit.
Donovan Lovekin, Chalky's missing brother, whom he is still searching for.

Name
Amelia Davies

Date of Birth
May 16th, 1984 (Age: 34)

Appearance
Amelia has long, chocolate brown hair that cascades down to her mid-back when it's let loose, but it is often tied up in the hairstyle depicted in photographs one and three. Her eyes are a beautiful light grey-blue shade, and her skin is a light tan but would still burn in the sun if not properly protected. She is five feet and two inches tall, five foot eight in her favorite heels, and weighs an amount she doesn't deem necessary for you to know. She has only one scar on her body located along her lower abdomen from a C-section she had undergone a few years prior. Her body is free of any diseases and most imperfections, thanks to a rather acne-free adolescence and a clean genetic history. Amy only has one tattoo of a butterfly, and only those extremely close to her will know where it is. She is normally donned in classy dresses that accentuate her curves (and by that I mean her hips, since she's not as busty in the chest), heels to match, and a makeup palette that would make drag queens jealous. At home, however, she often wears her hair down around her shoulders or in a braid, no makeup, and is clothed in a tank top and skinny jeans, plus mismatched socks.

Backstory
Amelia started out with a rather ordinary lifestyle. Her mother was a surgeon who worked just around the corner from their home on Field View Cl while her father was actually a Father at 'Our Lady and Saint Benedict's Roman Catholic Church,' which Amy's family regularly attended. The church was also quite close to her mother's job and her home, allowing either of her parents to go to work while the other stayed home with Amy interchangeably without much complaint from either workplace. The town of Ampleforth was rather closely knit to the growing female, so from the time she attended St. Hilda's C Of E Primary School to the end of secondary school she lived in the small city and knew everyone, just as everyone knew her. Fascinated with other languages early on, Amy took it upon herself to learn French, German, and Italian when she was still quite young, regardless of whether or not she thought she'd need it - other countries fascinated her, and she was already fluent in her home language.

In her final year of secondary school (hers didn't offer sixth forms), she contracted bacterial meningitis. Although it had only seemed like a small infection in her ears, it quickly proved to be much more. Soon she felt all of its symptoms: rapid onset of a high fever, vomiting, headaches, rashes, a sensitivity to light, a stiff neck, and an altered mental state. It made her very ill, and although they rushed her to the doctors as soon as it had gotten so severe, they were unable to prevent the infection from taking away her sense of hearing. They were able to keep it from making her go blind and eventually cured her of the infection, but it had already done the damage intended. Only fifteen years old, young Amy was heartbroken regarding the fact that she would never hear anything ever again, and for a while that dominated her life. She learned how to sign as quickly as she could and practiced reading lips, which quickly became easy for her since she was used to watching everything without sound (for some reason their television never properly emitted sound, despite their electrician's desperate attempts to fix it - her father was too sentimentally attached to the old set to get rid of it, so they kept the damned thing). However, the pitiful reactions of those she was raised around were too much for the emotional teenager, so she and her parents moved away from Ampleforth.

Northern Yorkshire is quite far north in comparison to London, which was considered north compared to their new city choice of home: Sevenoaks. It wasn't too far from London, just enough to avoid all the hustle and bustle, as well as the tourists. Sevenoaks was quite different than what Amy was used to - in Ampleforth she had access to forested property, which she could play in and run around in with her former classmates, and Kirk's Coffee House, which she would go to in order to scope out cute girls and boys when she was older (just before contracting the infection). In Sevenoaks, while there were parks to play in, the parts with trees weren't literally in her backyard, and her parents would rarely let her out of their sight until they were sure she had fully recovered from meningitis. Since her secondary school was cut off by the hospital visits, Amy started her sixth forms at age seventeen, embarrassed that she was not only the new, older kid but she was also the deaf one. However, she wasn't going to let that stop her. She took part in every political class she could, including any available extracurriculars that involved politics, debating, or international relations. Making sure she kept up to date with everything that was going on in the world, Amelia quickly advanced in her classes and finished secondary school with the best scores of her entire year.

While she was finishing those two final years of secondary school, Amy studied Wing Chun, a variation of Kung Fu, in order to better herself in regard to self-defense. She didn't want to be overcome by others because of her disability, and she wasn't planning on letting that stop her. She stayed in Sevenoaks for another year after finishing secondary school to improve her Wing Chun skills, but she was determined to finish making her way towards her desired future and attended Cambridge, studying both Political Science and Sociology while she attended university. After getting her Bachelor's degree she swiftly reached her peak performance and was able to complete her Ph.D.'s in both subjects, completing her Master's Degrees on the way while only being the age of 26 when she finished them. Her remarkable advancements throughout university helped her move her way up through Foreign Services until she was noticed by Queen Elizabeth II herself, and was later appointed by the Queen to be the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to France thanks to her attention to detail and her ability to assess current standings between the UK and other countries without bias or any other judgments (L'Ambassadeur britannique en France - in French). It took her less than a decade to reach her dream job and replace Edward Llewellyn, and she wouldn't have it any other way (age 29).

A deaf ambassador was different for the UK, but nobody with a brain (heh, brainless zombies can say all they want tho) said anything negative about her, only positively reinforced her and the Queen for doing what they did. She became quite popular, but that was not what mattered to the relatively young ambassador. She only wanted to help her country and those around it. However, there are times when a girl's got to relax. Since she ended up moving to Paris, France to do her job as the ambassador, she wanted to go someplace other than England or France. Both Italy and Germany were close by, but...she wanted to go to Germany more than Italy since it was closer. Her German was also much better than her Italian. When she got there, she felt quite out of place, what with her lack of the defining German features. There were plenty of tourists, but none of the available guides offered services that she would need, out of what she could see. Trying to back out of the crowds, Amy finally made her way to a more isolated part of the area outside the airport when she bumped into a very ginger female, who was holding very hot coffee. The female yelled at her for spilling coffee on her new blouse, but because she was yelling too quickly for Amy to read her lips, the brunette had to stop the angry woman and explain to her that she could not read lips that quickly and that she had to do so in order to understand her or anyone else. That was how she and Aurora Sterling met.

Aurora Sterling was the most amazing woman Amelia had ever met. She was kind, compassionate, and always spoke her mind. She didn't treat Amy any differently than she would another person, which made Amy feel like she hadn't lost her hearing in the first place. She wished she could know what Aurora sounded like, but she knew that everything about Aurora was worth the love she began to feel for her. Aurora even learned how to sign for her! Since Amy had met her at age 30, the two had gone on adventures throughout Germany and went sightseeing all the time. They went to small cafes, large shops, and all of the sights in between. They dated for three years, having fallen in love with each other along the way. However, it wasn't meant to last, but not in the way you might think - as soon as Amelia had gotten word that her mother had fallen ill, she knew that she had to return to England, and she knew that Aurora wasn't going to like it. Amy's departure broke Aurora's heart, no matter how many times Amy apologized. Her mother didn't want her telling anyone what was happening and wanted to leave the world in peace, rather than at everyone else's expense; thus, Amy couldn't tell Aurora why she had to leave, just that she couldn't stay. Amy left Germany, both she and Aurora in tears by the time the plane left the ground.

Amy's mother's passing was quick, yet she did not know what her mother had fallen prey to. Either way, her father set up the funeral the way her mother had wanted it to be, and in her will, she left behind all of her earnings, a separate residence she had saved for Amy in case her ambassador job went wrong, and anything else she left behind was meant for charity. It was an emotional time for Amy, and all she wanted was to see Aurora. She wanted her lover by her side, and that ache was worse than anything the world had yet to throw in her path. The world around her was silent in more ways than one that day. Rather than driving home, Amelia walked from the cemetery, tears coating her cheeks as she shuffled along the streets of her old hometown (not Ampleforth, but Sevenoaks). Distracted and in no way paying attention to her surroundings, Amy was immediately overcome by an armed thug, who was making threats to her she couldn't understand through the tears. When she said she couldn't hear him and told him she'd give him her money, he gagged her and took her someplace discreet to do entirely nasty things to the poor woman. She managed to leave the building a couple days later when he was gone for a long period of time, making her way home to sob into the arms of her worried father.

Several weeks later, Amy found out that the evil bastard had gotten her pregnant, and she could not apply for an abortion. Being forced to take the baby to term, Amy went through many nights without sleep, either crying for her love or wishing she was dead so that she wouldn't have to have this baby at age 34. However, just as she had come to terms with having the baby in her ninth month (pregnancies last 10 months, those who were told 9 were LIED TO), she was informed that the baby had died while it was still in her womb. Devastated, Amelia cried even more, feeling as though it was her fault the baby was dead - she hated the unborn child so much at the beginning of her term, so her desire to be rid of the baby came true at the worst possible moment. When she was hospitalized to remove the baby, there were complications that led to a C-section, leaving her with the scar she has today. The experiences she had within the last year she lived without Aurora made Amy realize that Aurora was all she truly wanted. During her pregnancy, the zombie shit was going on but it hadn't really overcome her area as of yet, so it wasn't a pressing concern in her depressing, pregnant days. After she was forced to birth the dead baby (no it didn't become a zombie and eat her on the inside), she took a couple weeks to recover but immediately made plans to return to Germany to find Aurora. Using her position as an Ambassador she was allowed into the country, but it was a lot of land to cover - she better get started.

Faceclaim: Andre Hamann

Name: Wolfgang Holland

Date of Birth: October 10th, 1994
Appearance: Wolfy is a 6 foot 3 inches tall Scandinavian German man. He has bright blue eyes and medium length Blonde hair. He has a mesomorphic athletic build and a couple of scars down his arms and chest from shrapnel and mechanical errors.

Backstory: Wolfgang lived in Berlin for as long as he can remember. His dad was a mechanic and his mom was a nurse, with this being said he was a upper in the middle class(well. As middle class as it gets in a socialist union.) When he was young he used to work on carswith his dad, sparking a passion for fixing up old cars. His childhood days were pretty boring other than when he engrossed himself over his dads old American cars. Through his adolescence he had a A simple repeat going. Which was going to school, doing his homework, attend to his job, and house chores. Whether he works at the Quick mart when he was in Highschool or helping his dad in the shop. He was always working. This helped him with his work ethic.

Soon after he graduated Highschool his dad suffered from ALS and soon passed away. He was devastated and didn't know how to cope with the loss. He soon joined the military in hopes that he would die in combat, or at least find some sense of purpose. His mom was opposed to the idea but she knew that she couldn't stop him. His mind was set. He did find his purpose joining the army. In his first mission he both Stabalized a traumatic wound to the field surgeon and did a combat amputation on another squad member. He realized he saved not just one but two peoples lives. He knew he could use his skills to help other people. After that mission, the higher ups saw his potential and made him a medic. Using the scalpel more than the rifle, He served two tours in the army before visiting home in Berlin.

He returned to his mother and making up the past few years he was gone. His mom was proud of the change she saw in him. Wolfgang inherited his fathers auto shop, Holland Auto-Body. While running that he proceeded to continue into the medical field and joined a medical school. He graduated at the top of his class, mostly due to prior experience. He now serves as the head of the auto shop and an emergency surgeon for the hospital his mum works at.

Personality: (ISFP-A) Adventurer personalities are true artists, but not necessarily in the typical sense where they’re out painting happy little trees. Often enough though, they are perfectly capable of this. Rather, it’s that they use aesthetics, design and even their choices and actions to push the limits of social convention. Adventurers enjoy upsetting traditional expectations with experiments in beauty and behavior – chances are, they’ve expressed more than once the phrase “Don’t box me in!”.

Wolfy is the kind of guy who likes to be creative with everything. Wether be singing out the actions he does or doodling on the side of his research notes, he always does something creative. He balances his creativity a bit too heavily and will occasionally forget things or misplace things. Wolfe always is up to trying new and strange new things, making him very adaptable. Wolfy tends to lean on the anti-social introverted side. He prefers to keep to himself when possible but he isn't afraid to apply himself fully to something. In addition to that wolfy always brings his "A" game to everything, always trying his best and encouraging others. Wolfy tends to not take care of himself. Learning how to be a combat medic made him be selfess. To the point where he tends to blame himself for other peoples fault. Whenever people talk about him he always dissuades them and humbles himself, if not overly humble use himself. When people ask him about his emotional problems or his personal life he tends to shy away and even to the point he will be hostile and aggressive over it.

Skills: good mechanic, a reliable medical practitioner, good with firearms, an all around athletic person, he can play the piano and has Devianart worthy drawing skills.

Weaknesses: He has a hard time taking time for himself (overly selfless). He is very touchy about emotional conflicts, he prefers to avoid them and even get hostile shen people ask how he is. He easily forgets and misplaces things (scatter brained)

Name: Aiden Richtofen

Date of Birth: 9’th June, 1995 (Age at start of rp: 23, almost 24)

Appearance: (FC: Daniel Sharman)

daniel-sharman-1.jpg

- Height: 5”11

- Body type: Lanky, lightly built/toned

- Hair: Curly, brunet

- Eyes: Greyish blue

- Skin: Pale

Aiden stands at five feet and eleven inches. He is quite lanky and has a pretty slim, light build; only slightly toned. He has messy, curly light brown hair which never seems to follow his will and inquisitive greyish blue eyes, sharp with intelligence and mistrust. He has a square-ish jaw and straight, white teeth, having a slight obsession with caring for them, especially after having endured braces for two years when he was fourteen.

He has a pretty pale skin tone, and burns easily in the sun, perfect excuse to wear hoodies all the time. He has long, slim fingers, perfect for picking locks. Aiden has a pretty clear complexion, having never suffered from any acne in his teenage years to his luck, however he has a long, thin scar marring his abdomen from when he got stabbed during a mission, two scars, both from bullet wounds on his left thigh and on his chest and he’s got a large eagle tattoo on his left shoulder blade.

Backstory:

Aiden did not really remember his early childhood, yet he knew it was not pretty. His adoptive father, Axel Richtofen, never really hid from Aiden that his real father had been a savage drunk affiliated with the Mafia, and that he had found Aiden covered in bruises and with his ribs sticking out. Knowing that, Aiden was quite glad that his brain seemed to lock those memories out. He grew up alright with Axel, getting a pretty normal childhood after being adopted especially since Axel acted more like a fun uncle rather than a dad. He grew up in Berlin, Germany, though according to Axel he was supposedly originally from Italy. It didn’t matter to Aiden as he considered himself to be German. He went to school in Berlin itself, though it wasn’t until a parent’s day when he was 10 where the other kids were bragging about what their parents worked as that he realised he had no clue what his dad’s occupation was.

It wasn’t until his 14th birthday however that his father sat him down and finally told him. He started explaining why there was that room he was not allowed in, and why his father sometimes went on week long trips, leaving Aiden to fend for himself. His father was an assassin, a professional killer for hire, and worked for several organisations around the world for money, though he stated that he only ever took on contracts to end evil, dangerous individuals. Aiden learned that night that it was Axel who killed his father and consequently saving him from having a horrible life. Aiden couldn’t really bring himself to hate Axel knowing that, yet he needed time to wrap his mind around such information. Aiden ended up avoiding Axel for a month, processing the information he was given and during that month, he realized that he was more curious than repulsed by what he learned.

Instead of dwelling on what kind of person that made him, he approached his father and asked him to tell him more and to finally show him what was in the locked room in their house. Axel was shocked to say the least, convinced that the boy that he considered his son hated him then. However, Axel did end up showing Aiden the room and what a room it was. Guns and swords were hung on display on one wall ranging from simple pistols to snipers, pocket knives to katanas. Aiden was awed to say the least, and the more he learned about his father’s occupation, the more he warmed up to it and after a while he set his sights on following in his father’s footsteps, especially after he learned about the corruption tainting the governments, media and several large organisations. However Axel was against it, saying that Aiden had no business killing people, though after a rather loud argument about how he wanted to make a difference and, like his father, learn how to be a professional killer and take contracts to kill these evil individuals in high positions, Axel caved and at sixteen years of age, Aiden started his training in the arts of stealth, breaking and entering, camouflage and that of killing. He learned how to handle himself in a fight, and how to use certain weapons of his choice, them being pistols, submachine guns and a wakizashi, Axel’s preferred weapons. To train with the weapons, he took him every summer to a small lodge he owned in a secluded area of the Black Forest, while in the winter, Aiden attended post secondary school normally as well as practiced stealth, camouflage and lockpicking. He learned what forensics looked for in a crime scene and how to avoid leaving evidence. By the time he reached the age of twenty, he was quite proficient and his father started taking him with him on missions, figuring that hands on experience was what Aiden needed then.

The new assassin started living life with two masks; one worn during the day during which he attended University to further his studies in human biology while the other was worn during the night, during which he kept his skills sharp with training with his father as well as carried out any contracts he accepted. While Aiden did occasionally travel abroad with his father, he mostly did work in Germany itself, mostly to remain close to University.

In early 2018, Aiden got an unusual contract from the mafia to assassinate a scientist. Unusual because scientists were normally left alone. He accepted however as he was told that this particular scientist apparently conducted inhumane experiments on human beings, and since Aiden only killed the corrupt, he accepted. However after he successfully killed the German scientist, he went through a couple of his notes and learned the reason why he was conducting human experiments. He was researching a cure for a new, fatal epidemic. He hadn’t heard about it from the news yet, it was probably being kept quiet by the media so as not to cause mass panic, but he realised he had just killed the lead scientist in the research.

Aident didn't let Axel know what happened, but as time went on, his guilt kept growing and growing as news of this new virus was spreading. Soon half the world was affected and new regulations and rules were put up to prevent it from spreading to Germany as well for as long as possible. Travelling was very highly regulated and unfortunately his father was barred from entering Germany after he completed one of his abroad contracts. Aident tried to keep in contact with his father and appealed to the authorities to allow him in but all in vain. Axel suddenly stopped contacting Aiden just around the time that the dead were being reported to reanimate themselves. Aiden feared the worst, and it was made worse with his conviction that it was all his fault, if he hadn’t taken that contract, there would have been more of a chance of a cure being found. As the walls were erected around Berlin, Aiden had to relocate as the apartment he had shared with his father was located outside the wall, near the outskirts of Berlin. He moved to the inner wall, managing to take with him only a pistol and his wakizashi as weapons, and did his best to find shelter, but really everywhere was full. Every single room was stuffed to the ceiling with people escaping the plague and he ended up living in the streets. To say life was tough would be a sore understatement. Food was scarce, water was scarcer and the cold of winter felt like it was cracking his very bones. If possible, things were made even worse when the wall fell, the military disappeared and everything went to hell.

Personality:

ISTJ-A: Bright, logical, and wise individuals who are very direct – for them, truth and facts are the most important. With their love of facts, they tend to accumulate a lot of information in their memory. Their focus on concrete facts and data makes them excellent analysts in many different environments. ISTJs are respected for their exceptional loyalty to their duty. Their accuracy, patience and ability to concentrate make them ideal employees in many professions.

Aiden values logic and facts, often scoffing at other people’s opinions if not factually accurate, an attitude which got him into quite a few arguments which he usually won. He despised dishonesty, being quite an honest and direct person himself. In fact the one thing he disliked in his line of work was the necessity for lying. Aiden has quite the sharp memory and is good at analysing people which makes it difficult to lie to him. He is however not very good at dealing with emotions and often tries to hide any strong emotions and escape emotional situations, and he finds it very difficult to cry. He’s otherwise pretty good natured, calm and quiet unless his anger is ired and his patience is tested.

Skills:

  • Weapon skills: Quite skilled with pistols, SMGs and his trusty wakizashi.
  • Fitness: Pretty fit, able to sprint pretty fast and good at climbing some structures. He’s moderately strong, able to lift heavy objects but not too heavy. Also enjoys a healthy lifestyle, not a big fan of junk food unless its cake..
  • Tactician: Able to plan out different scenarios, usually to a successful end. However he’s only proficient in planning for either himself or maybe for groups of two, and not for a larger group as he has no experience doing that.
  • Intelligence: He did quite well in school, especially in biology. He prided himself in being well-versed in anatomy in particular, sometimes for pretty morbid reasons like knowing where it would be most fatal to strike or shoot an opponent.
Strengths:

  • Strong willed and dutiful: Believes in working hard for what he wants and sticks to his goals. He wasn’t one to let challenges overcome him, instead always finding the will to stand back up whenever life knocked him down.
  • Responsable: His word was a promise. If he says he will do something he will do it or die trying. He also always makes it a point to take responsibility for his actions and wasn’t fond of excuses.
  • Perceptive: Aiden has pretty good senses, able to take in his surroundings with ease as he was trained to do so. He was very observant as a result and not much is able to escape his notice.
  • High pain tolerance: He was used to pain. His training was pretty harsh, always earning him quite the number of bruises and he wasn’t a stranger to higher levels of pain as he even got stabbed once in a mission and he got shot twice as well, with the scars to prove it.
  • Loyal: While its difficult to gain his trust, once earned he is loyal to a fault, and would go to any lengths to protect his loved ones.
Weaknesses:

  • Has a very slight limp from the bullet wound on his leg as the bullet had scraped a nerve. While it doesn’t hinder him too much most of the time, he does feel pain in his leg from time to time.
  • Stubborn: The facts are the facts and Aiden tends to resist any ideas which are not supported by them. This factual decision making makes it hard for Aiden to accept it when he is wrong about something, but everyone can miss a detail even him.
  • Insensitive: He’d much rather think logically and tell people the brutal honest truth. He doesn’t much consider other people’s emotions as a result and can be quite tactless.
  • Mistrust: He’s quite reserved as a person and finds it difficult to open up at first. He’s not very trusting and it takes some time to earn his trust.

-Basic architectural knowledge,
-Knowledge of the human body,

-terse

Weaknesses:
-Aaron tends to act rashly and aggressively in his plots and plannings (will try to get things done efficient and fast)
-often stays up late, as a consequence he is never at his 100%
-minor dissociation with reality
-stubborn
-terse

Pre existing relationships:
N/A

Backstory:
-(Prior to infection)
Aaron was a fairly normal child and teen, he was born and raised in America. Somewhere around the age of 12, he started having brief dissociative moments, Aaron knows why, he just doesn’t tell people. His expression would blank out most of the time and he wouldn’t care about anything or anybody. This already added on to his watered down emotions.

He took a week of martial arts training but was ultimately banned for beating the sh*t out of another student while they were sparring. He also learned a few weak spots on the human body and how to exploit them.
He had a friend in high school that was an engineer buff and taught him a few things, mainly structural integrity and stuff like that (and maybe also how to make a crude grenade). Aaron played tennis in middle and high school, as a result he became a fast thinker, and he can make choices easily

At the age of 14, he experienced a car crash. No one was severely injured, save a shard of glass in Aaron’s eye, but Aaron never felt the same in such fast moving vehicles. Due to his unsociable attitude he never expressed his nervousness of being in a car.

-(July 2018)
Almost 17 years of age, Aaron was looking forward to graduating from high school. Alas, his grandfather became terminally ill (not from the virus) and Aaron’s entire family flew out to see him in Germany, the air travel was tighter than normal and they almost missed their flight. Aaron didn’t keep up with the news, so he didn’t know about the silent virus that was slowly tightening its grip on the world.

-(October 2018) Aaron and his family had left the apartment and went to live in his Grandmother's house, for Grandfather had died in early August. Aaron’s father caught the virus near the end of this month.

-(December 2018)
Both Aaron’s parents had caught the virus and were transported to hospitals within Berlin. He and his Grandmother were worried about the rapid spread of infection.

-(Late December 2018)
Aaron was now alone in his Grandmother's house, she had gone to visit her child and stepchild in the hospital. She had been killed by the military after becoming infected, unbeknownst to Aaron. The military swept the streets, searching for uninflected survivors, and putting down any infected they saw. Aaron didn’t go to any of the quarantine zones. He didn’t like strangers, and if a single person inside of the zone was infected, it would mean death for most, of not all of the people inside of the zone.
-(January 2019)
Aaron threw a roll of party toilet paper (he couldn’t remember its name) out of his window to celebrate New Years and his birthday. Aaron had been productive, he had made a pvc pipe bow and arrow, located his grandfather's flare gun, and always kept a small 8oz hammer at his side. Taking a queue from the plague doctors of the Black Death, he also coated a long, silky robe in wax and fashioned a crude gas mask from a 2 liter container and a water bottle, all he needed to do was stuff the water bottle full of cotton or flowers for it to take effect. It worked for the most part then, why not now?

-(March 2019)
Aaron was as comfortable as he could be in the situation, while not totally letting his guard down. The quarantine areas were under increased assault from the infected, so he was glad to have stayed out of them. One day though, he realized that the infected were more riled than before. He could tell because he could see over the wall from his attic. Looking down the street he noticed his worst nightmare, a breach. Now if any of them survived they would be scrounging around for water, food, and shelter. By god if someone broke down his door he would kill them. Maybe he should hang a sign on his door so that people knew it wasn’t vacant.
-the sign now hangs there
It reads: Do NOT break down my door for ANY reason, I am still alive bitches.

With Hell Broken Loose, We Need Doctors More Than Ever
Evelynne.jpg
Name: Evelynne Yeo-Jin Vogel

Date of Birth: February 24, 1988

Appearance: Evenlynne Vogel is a fairly slim woman standing in at only 5'5" and weighing 118 pounds. She has a round face with almond shaped brown eyes. She has modest curves on her body that she's ultimately unaware of people finding attractive. She has black hair that has natural brown highlights in them, often during the summer her hair looks more brown than black, that extends down to her shoulders. Her ensemble tends to vary depending on who she's meeting, where she's going and what she's doing for the day. Which means, she can look like your fairy tale princess or slum it up with the guys in jeans and a t-shirt.

Evelynne 2.jpg

Backstory:
Evelynne Vogel was born February 24, 1988 to Emmerich Vogel and Jina Vogel. The pair were an odd couple to see. A 6'6" American male of German descent and a 5'0" Korean woman that met each other while Emmerich was deployed to Korea. The pair had seemed to hit it off surprisingly well and towards the end of his one year deployment he proposed, bringing Jina back to America with him. The argument over what to name the young baby was decided in both parents' choice being in there. Though her father's adamant opinion on her first name sounding American led to Evelynne.

Being the child of a man in the military, Evelynne's early years up through elementary school were spent moving from state to state. She had lived in California, Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii, Alabama, and lastly Rhode Island all before the age of five. However, when their daughter was going to start elementary school, her mother put her foot down and made Emmerich choose, either his career or his family. Despite Emmerich's love of the military he decided to retire and with his knowledge, and saved up funds, opened up business as a mechanic in New Port, Rhode Island. This is where little Evelynne's life truly began.

Evelynne grew up in a generic looking house. The two story white house with blue windows and the white picket fence. The stereotypical American dream. She had her own room that was surprisingly bare bones for a child. She had a few dolls, some books, her bed, her closet with a mix of both feminine and masculine clothes. Her father teaching her to be like one of the guys and her mother emphasizing how a girl should act. While many people would think this kind of influence bad on a child, Evelynne was happy to have her parents showering her with their own unique brand of affection and love. Not just the two constantly arguing over how she would become.

Elementary school wasn't a very big deal for Evelynne's life. She made friends, spent time with her family, played around in the mountains and ultimately lived a care free life. When she entered middle school though, Evelynne started running track. This was the first REAL endeavor she put any heart into. As a ten year old girl, she would get up at 4:30 every morning and just go for a run. She knew she would have to get home by six to make sure she could shower before school and so she ran until she had about as much time left to run back as she ran out and then turn around. This habit was eventually found out by her father who was excited for his little girl's interest in PT (Physical Training), but couldn't condone a girl of her age out on her own. So, he decided to join her. It wasn't like he didn't miss the days of PT in the military anyway, so it was good for the both of them.

This routine continued to be the case into High School for Evelynne. As a freshman, she was already running a five and a half minute mile. She was fast, but the crazy part was how long she could run. After school the girl spent an hour or two running the track, all the while maintaining that pace. She quickly gained a lot of popularity with both girls AND boys. The latter worried her father greatly. With no way to stop his angel from dating, her father taught Evelynne self-defense with his knowledge from serving. At the same time, Evelynne's mother started pressuring her to do well in school. The girl had always focused on her athletics, but Jina knew that one injury could lead to the end of that. So she decided to give the girl an ultimatum, maintain at least a B+ average or no competing in track during the spring. Evelynne wouldn't be held back from the first thing she ever loved so she doubled down on her studying.

Evelynne became a real busybody during her freshman year. She maintained a 4.0 GPA, joined the debate team and ran for student council, to which she got Vice President, and became the star of the track team, even beating out seniors who only strived to beat her. With all this going on she didn't have time to date and failed to notice her mother's worsening condition. Her mother was diagnosed with bone cancer and it was in the late stages. The doctors gave her mother only a year or two more to live. Evelynne was heartbroken by the news, there was nothing they could do? Her mother, however, merely took the news in stride. She told Evelynne that everyone has to pass on at some point and that she was happy with where her life had taken her. She got to marry a wonderful man, and got to see her daughter blooming into a beautiful woman, though with some very odd hobbies. She couldn't have asked for a happier life. A few months later, Jina Vogel passed.

With her mother gone, Evelynne buried herself further into her hobbies. She became incredibly active within the student council trying to change the school for the better. When she wasn't doing that or working with the debate team she would just run around the track until she'd feel like she was going to collapse. Anything she could do to keep her mother's death from her mind. Until she finally hit a wall. Her body had been pushed to its limits and her coach saw it and wouldn't allow her to compete in the track meet. Not until the girl had recovered. The other members of the council also told her to take a break. With nothing to really lose herself in, Evelynne was forced to grieve the passing of her mother. She couldn't understand why it had been her mother who died and not somebody else. Why couldn't the doctors save her? How had they not caught it? It was these two questions that changed Evelynne's life forever. They had made her realize that if other doctor's couldn't save her mother, then she would need to become the kind of doctor that could.

Evelynne, with a new found focus and finally having grieved for her mother returned to school. And although she maintained her running ability, she focused on getting into medical school. But not just medical school. Oh no, she was going to be a double major. She wanted to be as knowledgeable about everything that she could so she was going to get a degree in pharmacy as well. It would take a lot of work, but with her father watching out for her, and footing the bill if she couldn't get scholarships, she was going to do it. Two years later, Evelynne Yeo-Jin Vogel was on her way to the University of Pennsylvania with a double major of premed and prepharm.

At college, Evelynne quickly became known around the campus as "that one Asian girl who's try-hardding too much." She was so focused on her education and becoming someone that could help people that she took classes during her summer and winter breaks. Within two years she'd earned enough credits to have her bachelor's and went straight into medical and pharmacy school. It was a lot of work on Evelynne. She often spent her days off catching up on the missing sleep she didn't get due to classes that were extremely difficult. After six years of grueling non-stop education, internships, sleepless nights, and countless energy drinks, Evelynne had her PHD in medicine and pharmacy. The last thing she needed to figure out was what to do and where to go with her degree. Luckily her father seemed to have a plan for that.

Emmerich had spoken to his great grandfather back in Berlin, Germany, the man was nearly 106 years old and still mentally sharp, surprisingly. They decided that Evelynne had still been overworking herself from her mother's death and decided that she needed to take some time away from work in Germany. So Evelynne was shipped off to Germany for an "extended vacation." While there, Evelynne finally got her first moment of rest in eight years. She spent six months running, relaxing, learning some history and ultimately just winding down from the brutal experiences she had put herself through. At the ripe age of twenty six, Evelynne finally decided she'd stay in Germany and work in a hospital. With her educational background it wasn't long before she had a job. And she fit right in.

Evelynne's extensive knowledge of both medicine and pharmacology led her to being one of the more impactful doctors in the hospital. Though the management team did their best to keep her away from the emergency room due to her lack of experience in dealing with the patients. However, fate wouldn't let Evelynne stay away from that for long. One night she was the only doctor in the hospital as several of the others had family emergencies to head off to and the others were in other parts of Germany on vacation. So when the victim of a mugging came in, she had no choice but to take care of the situation herself. After a grueling hour the man stabilized and Evelynne found that she could handle emergency situations well. She decided to work wherever in the hospital that she could, save for the delivery room as she wasn't too fond of babies. They're crying gave her headaches and she really couldn't stand it.

When the virus broke out, Evelynne had her hands extremely full. People were coming in left and right with bites, or the symptoms of the virus. For those with bites, amputation became a very common practice. Supposedly it stopped the virus from spreading and killing the victim, but Evelynne never saw them. Once the amputation was done, the patients were moved to another facility by the military and never seen from again. However, the ones that had bites that couldn't be amputated, like on their neck, head or torso, the doctors were all told to stay away from and hand them over to the military. It was the ones suffering from the disease itself that were the difficult ones. Evelynne tried everything she knew within her pool, but ultimately she lost many patients who her shot before they could revive. Evelynne had a hard time accepting this as the fate of those that were infected, but this was a disease unlike ANYTHING the world had seen. Even cancer would've been a better fate than what she dubbed "The Z-Virus." Things only got worse when she came home to find her great-great-grandfather with a bite mark on his left arm and a gaping hole in his head from where he shot himself. He died rather than become a monster. It made Evelynne sick to see someone who had fought to live so long be forced to end his own life because of something outside his control.

Evelynne 5.jpg

Personality:
Evelynne is a hard working and driven woman. If she sets her mind to do something she goes all out in trying to achieve her goal, sometimes forgetting what all else she's supposed to do to take care of herself. Evelynne is an empathetic woman often finding herself sharing in another's feelings rather than just understanding them. This particular trait became problematic when people started dying from the virus. Evelynne's very direct and business-like in her conversations, often not really thinking about what she's saying before putting it out there. She is extremely sensitive about her mother and her passing and has a very strong wall preventing her from talking about it or mourning her loss any more than she already has. Evelynne is calm under pressure. She can analyze a situation and go about getting the swiftest answer that requires the least amount of materials, in medical situations anyway. She's also very uncomfortable with compliments and flattery as she's not used to receiving words of praise from anybody but her family and teachers.

Skills:
Medical Practice- Evelynne has been studying and learning about modern medicine, practices, and pharmacology for most of her life. She's a one woman army when it comes to saving lives.

Krav Maga and Muay Thai- The two martial arts forms that Evelynne's father taught her. Although she hasn't had to use these as of yet, she still practices in her spare time.

Leadership- Constant giving orders to nurses and other staff members, Evelynne knows how to take charge and guide a group in an emergency situation. This expertise has been honed even further since the outbreak as more and more emergency situations arise.

Long Distance Running- Evelynne ran for miles every day until the virus broke out. And although she does tend to still go for runs, they're normally not as long.

Strengths:
Extreme Endurance- Evelynne's history of track has given her an endurance unlike most people her age. And even though she started working in the hospital, the constant running along stairs, down the halls and from patient to patient has kept her stamina in prime condition.

Calm Under Pressure- Whether it's someone coming in with a bullet wound or an angry family over the loss of a member, Evelynne know how to stay calm and handle the situation.

Resourceful- Since the outbreak, supplies have been limited and thus, Evelynne has had to figure out how to do her job with what's at hand. And although this was frowned upon before the outbreak, it is highly approved of now.

Empathetic- Evelynne can understand and feel for someone else's pain, helping to pull them through the emotional turmoil that the "Z-Virus" has brought upon everyone involved.

Determined- If Evelynne has set her mind on something, don't try and stop her. You'll just get run over. She'll do nearly whatever it takes to get the job done.

Weaknesses:
Inexperienced in combat- Evelynne has never actually been in a fight or shot a gun. Although she knows the basics and practices her self-defense religiously, she has never actually had to use it.

Like a Saint- Evelynne has never killed someone herself. Even after the outbreak, she's generally had a soldier around to make sure that she's safe and protected.

Guarded- Evelynne doesn't let anyone get close to her emotionally. After all, at any moment that person you love or cherish could die. That's not something she wants to experience again.

Small Girl- Despite her training, Evelynne still is rather small and could be easily overpowered by someone larger than her.

Name Elena Marie Sommers
Date of Birth 21st June 1997 (Twenty Two)
Appearance Elena is a slender young woman standing at only five foot nine inches (175 cm) and weighing around fifty five kilograms (121lbs), which it was safe to say that she took both her parent's genes when it came to her height. Her skin, basing and complementing her ethnicity is pale white, like porcelain which is decorated with occasional rosiness whenever she is irritated or anxious. Her light brown hair flatly cascades down the sides of her face till just above her chest in one length, usually left hanging. Complementing it were her light brown eyes which often appear with some blue specks in the sunlight. A classified distinguishing feature about her however, is her cleft chin. Elena bares no tattoos nor any visible scars on her body except for a weirdly shaped birthmark on the right side of her abdomen.
When it comes to her choice of clothing style, her outfits always revolved around the spectrum of summer, spring and denim. Not to forget casual. That being said her style sometimes can go from her typical tomboyish looks to a 'stereotypical' girl once every full moon. Never quite seen in heels as much as she is trained in her balance, there was no way in hell she balanced herself in heels. It's like she defied gravity whenever she wore them. Her favorite article of clothing are none other than denim dungarees or denim jackets.

Gerben is an athletically built young man of 1,87m (6'2") and 72kg (159lbs). He has short blond hair which he combs backwards and a short scraggy beard that's more the result of not shaving for two weeks than a deliberate aesthetic choice. He has blue eyes and a near-perfect set of teeth. Normally sports a full soldier's outfit but with the necessary additions to make it well protective against air- and bloodborne contagions. When not on duty he sports a set of black military pants, a white parka and a black tactical vest.

Prior to the pandemic
Gerben was born and raised in the city of Hamburg to two proud German parents. His father was a businessman and his mother was his partner in the business as well. He was raised well and with a healthy dose of national pride. He had an unimpressive time in school, he wasn't particularly good or bad at anything except for PE, he excelled at that. When he rolled out of school he was a fit young man who was ready to take on the world, but he felt like he had to give back to his country before he would go on to start college and get a business degree like his parents.

He joined the German Army and was quickly selected during basic training for a force recon position. Next to learning how to be a soldier by training, shooting, stabbing and performing first aid he also learned how to survive out in the field with little to no backup or supply lines, how to scout and how to use stealth if too close to enemy positions. After completing his training he and his unit were deployed abroad to assist in keeping the peace in a war ravaged country. All went well until one day his unit was ambushed, their only support taken out of the air and the survivors slaughtered. He managed to get away and survive in the wilderness, wounded, shocked and alone. He was found 7 days later a completely changed man, his happy-go-lucky personality had disappeared and he refused to be pulled back as he showed the way to the camp of the assailants and assisted in the eradication of said camp. He stayed in the military ever since.

Initial stage of the pandemic
He saw the first reports of the outbreak when was spending his weekend at base in Brandenburg. He disregarded the initial reports as just people being hysteric over a new flu strain, he instead just focused on improving his English as it had become a bit rusty over the years of disuse. He had been transferred to another unit after his tour abroad and has spent the last few weeks in training with the rest of his unit about urban warfare in the what-if scenario if Germany was to be ever invaded by the Russians. It was after that weekend that he started to take things more seriously. Members of his unit had come back from their weekend leave but once everyone was assembled they were told by their superiors that they couldn't leave the base anymore until further notice. They continued their training and were lucky enough that nobody had gotten infected. They'd see the occasional report that the disease was getting worse and soldiers were still not allowed to leave the base. Supplies started coming in by airtight transports and everything from the outside was thoroughly cleaned and the unit started to figure out that the pandemic was worse than the news let on. During his time in this period he learned more about situational awareness and how to quietly break and enter buildings if necessary in combat or stealth.

When all hell broke loose
Gerben was on a video call with his parents who were on one of the last passenger planes to fly back to Germany when all hell started to break loose. Sirens went off and all units in the base were called to arms. He wanted to say goodbye to his parents but he heard screams coming through from the background of the call and then the connection was cut. He froze for one short moment before snapping back to it and getting his gear on and running to the armory. As he armed himself just like countless others they were hastily briefed that the infected had begun to attack the uninfected all around the world and it all intensified, they were to fully gear up for the worst, take as much ammo as they could and make their way to the Reichstag to protect the government from the infected. Soon after they loaded up in their troop transports, IFV's and armored cars before driving off towards Berlin and abandoning the base.

Once they came to Berlin the chaos was clearly apparent. They had to ram their way through multiple blockades created either by accidents or people trying to keep the infected away. They hadn't received orders to fire yet unless they saw an infected attack a human. Quite some zeds were ignored that way until the order came through over the radio to shoot any infected or people likely to be infected. The convoy would open fire on zeds wherever they saw them and sometimes also unwittingly wounded survivors. When they arrived at the Reichstag they regrouped with the rest of the forces that came to Berlin and did their part in securing the center district so they could construct a safe zone. His life has been a constant cycle of fighting zeds, smoking the stress away and taking short naps to refresh until the walls had finally been built. His unit stayed mostly untouched through the whole ordeal thanks to their preparedness for urban combat and their abundance of armored combat vehicles. By this point Gerben was a neurotic wreck though, the constant fighting gave him bad flashbacks about the past and he grew addicted to smoking and drinking as he simply couldn't cope anymore. Whenever he was not on duty he was either in therapy or drinking and sleeping.

Personality:
On the outside it seems like not much even remotely catches Gerben's interest but if one were to see his mental state as a metaphor his would be a broken vase held together by piece of tape. His strong sense of duty and the fulfillment of that in protecting people is the only thing that has kept him going so far in light of his parents dying, pretty much everyone he knew being dead, flashbacks to his trauma, the world ending and the knowledge that one unlucky speck of blood on his skin could mean the end of him, probably. He used to be full of love for life and the world, he'd joke around and tease his friends, he'd dream of settling down with a nice girl and some dogs. His senses are still with him and if one could properly see his eyes they'd find that he's always scanning places for escape routes or ways for bad things to get in. He's also guilt-ridden as he knows that he must've shot countless people who weren't a zed during the fight for Berlin in the chaos.

(18 years of age)

Backstory/History:

Being born in Le Mans, France, to her French Mother and German Father, Jolie grew up with them both arguing incessantly. Her first language is French, her Mother moving out with her when she was three, her father flying back to Germany. Even though her Father wasn't in Jolie's life for very long, Jolie studied basic German in her spare time and calls her Father once a month, her Mother only allowing her ten minutes when on the phone with him.

When Jolie was thirteen, her Mother flew them both to America to visit her Mother's parents who moved to America twenty years ago to look after her Mother's sister who'd fallen severely ill. That was a rough two years for Jolie, having to learn broken English and going through puberty that hit her hard. Her grandparents, knowing French, tried their best to get close to Jolie but her Auntie passed away a few weeks into the move. Jolie's mother was devastated by the loss, her Grandparents taking it the worst. Jolie only got to meet her Auntie once, in her hospital room. Needless to say, Jolie was in tears when she saw the condition her Auntie was in. They had only one conversation, in broken English, Jolie giving her the biggest hug when she had to leave. Her Auntie managed to convey one thing to her well enough; Do what you want to do in life, regardless of what others say.

While she was in America, Jolie attended school after a lot of paperwork on her Mother's side. As well mannered as she is, Jolie struggled to adapt to her new environment. A few of her classmates commented on her poor English, Jolie still studying German at this point. A few weeks in, Jolie made friends with a group of girls after they asked her for some makeup in the ladies toilets. They started talking, Jolie's English getting better, ending up spending lunch having a good laugh and chatting about boys. She ended up confessing she doesn't feel attraction towards boys, despite her clique suggesting she date one of the guys in their class. Jolie only ended up having an awkward conversation with the guy, after her group of friends introduced her to him. After too much peer pressure from her group, she distanced herself from them and broke down in tears. After another year of school, avoiding her former friends, her grades getting better, her English and German almost certainly flawless, her Mother wanted to move back to France in hopes of dealing with the loss of her sister. Reluctantly, Jolie agreed after saying a quick goodbye to her Grandparents.

Back in Le Mans, Jolie comforted her Mother as she struggled to deal with the loss. Her Mother insisted Jolie go back to school or start dating. Jolie chose school, feeling nostalgic as she heard everyone speaking her first language. While midway through the school year, Jolie, unnaturally, befriended one of the waitresses at her local coffee shop. Much like her, former, American friends, they ended up gossiping and having a laugh. Except boys weren't on their minds. After another year, they ended up having many dates and affectionate moments. Her Mother was surprised but supported Jolie's relationship.

It was only when the outbreak started, Jolie wanted to travel to Germany and see her Father in person after over a decade. Her Mother and partner wanted to remain in France, despite Jolie's insistence. After a heated argument with her Mother, Jolie ended up staying with her partner for a few days before flying to Germany.

Once there, the outbreak had reached both France and Germany. Jolie had arrived once Berlin was under authoritarian control. Finally reuniting with her Father, she learned about the outbreak and where it's been spreading. Her Father brought Jolie up to speed on what was happening. Since her Father had friends in Berlin, he needed to get in past the border. He demanded that Jolie stay homebound. He has a hidden weapons stash in the house due to him being a local hunter, in case Jolie needed to defend herself. He left for the border, after giving Jolie a few basic lessons on how to handle his guns and rifles, such as loading and reloading, and she hasn't heard from him since. It's been three months since he left and Jolie had enough of remaining in the house, doing nothing whilst her Father was out in the middle of a viral outbreak.

Personality:

Jolie is a well-mannered girl, she's from France after all. Yet she's not afraid to use violence as a last resort. She'll use every other method before turning to aggressive force. Nothing aggravates her much, but she won't be pushed around or taken advantage of. When alone, she'll have a few moments to cry in worry for her family and partner but she always pushes forward.

Skills: . Patientce and well-tempered

. Lots of Stamina, thanks to her staying fit throughout the years

. Empathetic

Weaknesses:

. Not, physically, strong

. Close to legally blind without her glasses

. Can be manipulated, mentally, under heavy stress

. Scared of spiders

Pre-existing relationships:
