SAINT
hebron-ppg-abandonedlab2b-low1.jpg
Name: Synthetic, Artificial, Intelligent, Nuclear Technologies or SAINT

Description: A large factory was created soon after the thoughts of war were present. Everyone once believed that SAINT was made to give jobs to those who had no jobs and to create weapons and highly advanced tech to give to the soldiers when the war came to home turf. They also created many of the security robots and drowns that once protected the city.

After the bombs dropped, people began discovering that SAINT not only created weapons and tech but also created creatures of mass destruction, creatures that were never meant to be released. Some of the creatures are said to have been inspired by horror games.

Above or Below Ground: Mostly above, but has levels below it as well

Outside Markers: A large fence that many thoughts was supposed to keep people out, but was really was meant to keep whatever was inside, in. Partially destroyed building surrounded by high levels of radiation.

Residence: The creatures that call this place home

Shops: N/A

Largest Issues: The creatures that live in the area, radiation

Lurker
591534

Name: Lurker

Hostility Level (1-10): 2- Cause little to no trouble unless you are alone or meet a group of them

Danger Level(1-10): 4- They are generally easy to take care of but become more dangerous when they are in a group or when there is only one survivor nearby.

Pack Animal?: Yes, they stay in packs of around 3, but groups of more have been seen

Description: Lurkers are comparably small creatures that are on the lower ends of the post-apocalyptic food chain. They are very fast and tend to jump up from holes in the ground and launch themselves at threats or food. They often show up in packs of one to three at a time, even if more are in the area. Lurkers are mostly scavengers that care mostly for carcasses and rarely hunt live prey. They have almost pink skin and no body hair whatsoever. They also possess a second pair of eyes, which are very small and are probably useless as they appear to be milky white (a sign of blindness).

Lurkers congregate in abandoned areas underground, feeding on the corpses of humans and animals alike. They have "warrens", burrows that allow the Lurkers to transit between holes as a means of flanking prey. The holes that they use are often (if not always) above lower rooms the areas they reside in, indicating that their burrowing abilities aren't very good and that they prefer to use large, empty spaces to save them the trouble of digging a new warren. Lurkers tend to only attack lone humans as opposed to large groups, another behavioral trait of scavengers.
  • Small and hairless body
  • Distinctive face with odd jaw and beady eyes
  • Pink color
  • High pitched screech
Average Size: Small. The tallest ones stand about two feet tall, and 2-3 feet long.

Speed: Annoyingly Fast

Found: Abandoned areas underground

Movement:
-
Very Fast
- Struggles swimming
- If they can jump to a ledge or up the side of a wall, they will
- Can't fly

Game: Metro Exodus

Spider Droid
607774
Name: Spider Droid, the locals call them "Spiders" for their ability to climb up sky scrappers

Hostility Level (1-10): 3 The droids are harmless until a person or creature comes within 10 feet of it.

Danger Level(1-10): 6-7

Pack Animal?: No, they can rarely be seen in groups of 2.

Description: A Robotic droid, usually silver, white, or greyish in color. One scanner is seen on the front of the droid along with a small opening that the droid has been seen spitting a sort of blue-colored acid-like substance.
Droids have been seen climbing up metal structures with ease and scanning in different areas of the city, most-likely from powerfull magnets found in the droid's legs and body.

From a journal entry:
"It was strange, one day these metallic creatures just started to come out of the old SAINT factory. Droids that look to be scanning different areas of the city. They seem to be mostly harmless if we give them their distance, but I don't trust them. Not one bit. I've seen what those things have done to the monsters and creatures that come near it, and I refuse to have the same fate."

Average Size: They are double the size of the average human's head

Speed: Decently Fast, but the average human could outrun one.

Found: Rarely found in just about all area's of the city.

Movement:
-
Usually slow unless it detects danger
- Can't swim, but can survive underwater for some time
- Can Climb Metal Vertical Surfaces
- Can't fly

Subway 257
2013-05-28_00015.jpg
Name: Subway 257

Above or Below Ground: Below

Outside Markers: One of the few subways that still have their original entrance to the surface. The entrance is surrounded by some of the best bars this city had before the bombs fell. The area is extremely dangerous to get to from the surface.

How Large of an area?: The subway seems to have stayed mostly intact, leaving plenty of space for their colony to grow. The subway also has entrances out into the darker areas underneath the city, allowing for travel between stations.

Residence: about 140 people, but the number constantly lowers and rises since the colony has many trading posts.

Shops: A large amount of booze and "Fun" draws a lot of people to Subway 257. This caused many settlers who wanted to stay and sell their own supply. Almost anything could be found here if you look hard enough.

Largest Issues: It's extremely dangerous on the surface around this area and recently the tunnels have been showing some strange activity.

The Dark Tunnels Name: The Dark tunnels
images.jpg
Above or Below Ground: Below

Outside Markers: None

How Large of an area?: The tunnels span miles, a spiderweb of a labyrinth connecting Subway 257 with Subway 258, 260, and 320 (To name just a few). There are also many dead ends and tunnels where you'll walk for days before finding an end or sign of life.

Residence: The creatures of the dark.

Shops: NA

Largest Issues: The darkness in these tunnels leaves the minds to wonder, many refuse to go through the tunnels without a large group and plenty of lights. You never know what could be lurking in the darkness.
