Name: James Edwards

Alias: None ATM

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:
latest

Side: Hero

Bio: James was born to a family in West Abingdon. He grew up in a rich family, as he father owned a large and successful jewelry chain in MegaMetro. When James turned twelve, his father began to teach him about being a jeweler and how to spot good stones. A year or so after that, James discovered his power and his father had the crystal tested to see what kind it was. It turned out to be a unique crystal, not found anywhere else on the planet. Once James reached eighteen he began to experiment more on his crystals and discovered the property they have to absorb energy.

Powers:

Crystal Generation - James can generate crystals anywhere he is touching, including the air anywhere around him with a hardness equivalent to iron. The crystalline structure is hexagonal, and the crystals he generates are black.

Energy Absorption - Any crystal that James creates has the property of being able to absorb energy after coming into contact with it. He can also absorb other things, including but not limited to, Fire, Lightning, and. After absorbing the energy the crystal becomes tinted with the color of whatever the energy was. The crystal also loses its iron-like hardness and becomes about as hard as glass after absorbing energy. Each crystal can only hold one kind of energy, though the amount depends on the size of the crystal.

Energy Release - Whenever a crystal created by James that contains some sort of absorbed energy is destroyed, the energy inside the crystal is released.

Weapons & Equipment*:
9c4ce15257f399dbca027c88e135e11b--colt-python-shotguns.jpg

Thor - A 5-shot revolver with a wooden handle that fires special bullets, made of crystal. The crystal bullets fired by Thor contain the same amount of electricity a taser has in one shot.

Logi -
A 5-shot revolver with a black metal plastic handle that fires special bullets, made of crystal. The crystal bullets fired by Logi contain fire and when shattered produce a small "explosion."

James has a small ammo box he carries around attached to a belt that contains 20 of each bullet. If he runs out of bullets, he can make crystals that are the same shape as the bullets and would just need to absorb energy for them to be useful.

Other*: Thor & Logi both have no penetration power as the crystal bullets shatters on impact whenever it hits anything.

Name: None, for his name has been lost to time.

Alias: "The Lich"

Age: A good question. Most likely somewhere in the thousands. He wouldn't tell you without killing you however.

Gender: Male

Appearance:
thelich.jpg

Personality*:
The Lich is a vindictive and vengeful monster, the word 'man' would be lost on him and his actions. His goal is to restore himself to youth, and is willing to do anything to get there. However, he knows that with the recent power surges that rocked the continent of Heroica, he feels that there may be a challenge up above, something he relishes. He really hates cats, loves skeletons, drinks milk quite regularly, and when not rampaging through MegaMetro, sulks underground with a cult to gather him resources he needs and enjoys. He is also studying illusions, to try and blend in with the general populace. At the moment, he is able to put scary blue lights inside his eye sockets.

Side: Villain

Bio:
The Lich, a necromancer who has successfully used the power of necromancy to preserve himself until the end of time, wasn't always like this. At one point, he was a wizard who deeply was in love with a woman whom he wanted to be with forever. So he killed her. Then he animated her body with the power of necromancy. He hasn't really figured out how to bring her mind all the way back without her biting him mid-chant, so he studies more. His latent knowledge in necromancy combined with the forbidden tomes he found within similarly ancient tombs hasn't earned him anything to try and bring his love to full youth, so he decides that he might as well troubleshoot from her standpoint, and kills himself, his body within a pentagram he had drawn out in a cave, in a swamp. He died normally, and for many years, his body decayed, having not received the energy to properly cast the spell.

Until recently, where magic energies have been building up, and without anyone to draw the latent powers of magic anymore, the relics he kept with him and the ritual he conducted so many years ago were supercharged, bringing him back to life as a Lich. Now, it is his job to bring back his lover's corpse, restore her mind, her body, and his body, so they can live happily until the end of time.

Or kill everyone, that works too.

Powers:
Undeath- The same magic that animates the Lich can be used on the dead, wherever they are. With this power, he can fire a beam of green entropy magic to reanimate any dead-thing and bend it to his will, effectively creating zombies.
Drain Life- With a beam of siphoning energy, the Lich uses magic to drain life from others, stealing their years of age and adding their youth to his own. It is quite effective at killing a person, but it grows much weaker the more people he is hexing.
Entropic Burst- Though his zombies may be a pushover, he can easily change that around, charging zombies with entropic energies. The zombies he charges become stronger and faster, but they also become rabid, attacking everything and everyone, from heroes, civilians, zombies, and even the Lich!
Restore- At the expense of one living person, he can revive another. The sacrifice is utterly erased, their body becoming nothing more than ashes. He usually doesn't fully cast this power, mostly using it, supplanting a useless civilian zombie, and restoring just enough memory to a more useful soldier zombie so they can wield a gun, or operate equipment.

Weapons & Equipment*:

Staff of Undeath

(Pictured above)
A foci for his powers, almost all of the magical beams and whatnot are projected from the staff he wields at all times. When without the staff, many of his powers aren't as effective. However, he can still create zombies, kill people, or just run them through with his blade.

Witchblade

latest

A cursed sword forged in the heat of hellfire and quenched by blood, this blade is evil in every sense of the word. It is the draw for the Lich's power, and only charges up whenever he kills somebody with it. Depicted is when it is at no charge, as with each kill, the white etchings turn blood red.

Other*: Has a small cult known as "The Cult of the Black King". They aren't very big, and only consist of 100 or so members. Their job is to try and influence others into joining, and getting things the Lich wants on his whim, the promise of an ultimate reward for their participation. (Most likely some form of zombification, as to serve him forever once he figures out how to create eternal life.)

Name: Annabelle Jones

Alias: Mirror Image

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Appearance:
52d31f618ef2ec903b198a2236489874--illustration-girl-ilya-kuvshinov.jpg

Costume*: Annabelle often wears a costume that reflects her personality. A white shirt and black skin tight pants that can withstand the toughest of scraping. The white shirt has a mindfulness symbol in the middle.
871a75988209c1686939194038dc64cb--mindfulness-meditation-meditation-symbols.jpg

Personality*: Normally quiet and refusing to talk, Annabelle keeps to herself and doesn't present herself as a normal person. She is often shy and introverted, finding it hard to make conversation with many people at a time. However her sense of justice is strong and she will do anything, although quietly, to defend it.

Side: Hero

Bio: Because the results of her power's research applications were so profitable, Annabelle was raised in the silence of four crystalline walls of a facility. She was taught to be obedient, and when she disagreed with anything she would receive a beating, or an injection. The process of being beaten into submission in this way would be easy enough to crush anyone's spirit into being anything, let alone a superhero. Fortunately, she discovered what her power could truly do and used it to escape the hellhole that she was held in. Upon the AVD dealing promptly with the laboratory, she was free to do whatever she desired, and immediately decided that her life would be better spent giving back to the community.

Powers:

Amorphous Solid Manipulation:
Annabelle possesses the ability to manipulate amorphous solids, solids with no crystalline structure. Usually, this means she'll be able to manipulate glass, liquid metals, and gel. She is capable of phasing through said materials, generating them out of thin air in small quantities to attack, and deflecting them if they're headed her way.
  • Amorphous Solid Possession: Annabelle is capable of "possessing" amorphous solids, by phasing into them and disappearing completely from the physical realm. If the solid is destroyed, then she will be forcibly pushed out of the solid and will suffer from severe cutting and bruising.

Invisibility:
Annabelle possesses the ability to disappear completely from the electromagnetic spectrum. Other means of detection will still work and be able to find her, such as sonar and pressure traps. If one also pays extremely close attention, they will be able to see dust settling around her.

Non-Super Powers:
Peak Human Speed -
Annabelle has trained herself to run. She is capable of hitting 35 miles per hour (56 km/h), allowing her to catch up to speeding vehicles.
Peak Human Senses - Annabelle has always possessed acute senses that border superhuman. She can spot amazing details that most people can't pick out, she can hear the faintest of sounds like footsteps and heartbeats in a quiet room, feel the ink on a page to read, and "taste" the air for toxins or poisonous gases.
Peak Human Balance - Jumping in and out of windows, especially in moving vehicles, has lead to Annabelle developing an extreme sense of balance. She can walk across tight ropes easily, do handstands at the edge of buildings, and also walk across collapsing bridges.

Weapons & Equipment*: Several glass marbles that she uses for attack.

His life drastically changed one week when he was about twelve and he discovered his powers. Name: James Hawkwood

Alias: The Knight

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Appearance:
17164693387_06d277a7fe_b.jpg

Costume*:
a84576b3e129ab8e7265eef54adee238--character-concept-character-ideas.jpg

Personality*:

Side: Heroes

Bio:
A knight of feudal times, Hawkwood was a mighty warrior who led many, many men into battle alongside him in the name of Raven's Peak Castle. He fought for one reason, and that singular reason is to drive back the forces of Count Lithillheim, and his vile Blackguard, honorless murderers who took what they wanted, and killed everything else. Hawkwood was one of the few who led sieges and battles against these fiends, defending the lands that Raven's Peak had sworn to protect, until eventually, after a series of desperate last stands against the numerous and well equipped foe, Hawkwood and his Ravens were driven back to Raven's Peak, a final stand of defiance against the destructive forces of Lithillheim.

He, and his faithful Ravens, were successful. They were able to transport their nobility off to ships off continent, but at the cost of their lives. Or most of their lives, as after the escape of the nobles and peasants, the Ravens were to fend for themselves, where they conspired to at least save Hawkwood's life at the very least. So, they ran to the mountains. Cutting a bloody swath as each of them fell in the great chase, an encroaching wave of Blackguard always high on the now very sparse Raven's tails. It was when they did reach this mountain, Hawkwood, First Lieutenant Croaker, Quartermaster Wertzhausen, and only a handful of others found themselves in a cave of sparkling jewels and a hidden lake. Thinking they would be safe, they dared to enter the lake, but were stopped by a strange entity, a magical one whom had been watching and leading them to her: The Lady of the Lake. She bid them that they pledge allegiance to her, to protect the weak and to rid the land of evil where they are most needed.

Of course, they took her offer, thinking to themselves that they would be needed in the here and now. But The Lady has other plans for them. She gave them her blessing, and with a blast of blinding light, Hawkwood found himself alone, in a strange place, in what he could only guess from the last words of the Lady, to fight evil.

And so fight he shall, even if he were to give his life.

Powers:
Cleanse of Evil- With a proclamation of faith, The Knight thrusts his hands outwards, blasting blinding light. The effect of this to normal people is that they are blinded for a short while, but to things that are cursed, enchanted, or otherwise magically affected, he can remove it's magical attunements. However, he himself takes on these curses, until he projects it unto something else.
Sanctify- Slamming his sword into the ground, The Knight sends a wave of holy light outwards around him in a small radius. With this, he restores his health and those around him slowly, sealing cuts and some wounds, but nothing to the extent of broken bones and the like. This Sanctified ground only lasts for a little over an hour, or indefinitely in natural areas such as beaches or forests, and allows The Knight to teleport between these spaces instantaneously.

Knight's Blessing
- With the blessing of The Lady of the Lake, The Knight is stronger than the average person, his reflexes and speed allowing him to quickly react and keep up a lightning speed assault. Even before his blessing, he was an incredible fighter, now he is more so, able to run long distances for long periods of time.

Weapons & Equipment*:
Sanctified Armor- Pictured above.
His armor that he has had even since his defense of Raven's Peak, enchanted to withstand the equivalent of small arms.
Blessed Blade- Pictured above.
A blade sanctified to cut down all matter of evil. It can cut through most types of metal of his age (Iron, steel, etc), and it is as light as a feather. Acts as an extension of The Knight, and burns those unworthy to wield it.
Holy Pendant- With a summoning ritual, he can bring forth any ally who has a pendant of their own to his own side.

Name: Minji Cho

Alias: N/A, desires to be Tempest

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Appearance:
63beb648a85ae0e2951101eb8e4c31ad--kuvshinov-ilya-pinterest-likes.jpg

Costume*: Ducky Hoodie!

Side: Aspiring Hero

Bio:
Early Life - Minji was born to a married mother named Emily Reston and a man named Sooyung Cho. Minji enjoyed six years of peace until finally, Acklen Reston, Emily's wife, found out about the secret love child. Acklen and Sooyung got into a fight; a major one. Both of them being divine envoys, made them particularly fierce combatants. Minji finally discovered this fight, and decided to put a stop to it. However, she had no idea what her own abilities were. Turns out she had inherited psychic powers from her mother. Though she couldn't even hope to put a stop to the fight between Acklen and Sooyung, she did have the power to run.
Run - Minji made a run for it after one particularly bad fight between her father. She stumbled upon a girl named Roxanne, who was the child of Emily and Acklen. With this connection, Minji instantly became connected to the girl and the two enjoyed a few months of silence, up until Roxanne had a call to be some sort of hero. This left Minji to fend for herself, which she did. She tried her best with her psychic powers and eventually managed to master them to a point she could call herself a soon-to-be hero. She figured heroes work best with a posse and that's what she aspires to get soon. Probably in a few years.

Powers: Psychokinesis - Minji possesses powerful psychic abilities, telekinesis beyond the wildest dreams of most heroes. She is capable of harnessing psychic force from her mind itself, requiring no physical effort to achieve these tasks.
  • Telekinesis - Minji's main ability, telekinesis, allows her to lift the weight of a bus a few inches off the ground. Maximum weight takes a huge toll on her mind and body, so a more desirable weight that she can lift is about 3 tons (6,000 lbs), which amounts to a small car. She can push, pull, and otherwise grip matter with her powers when she's not lifting things.
    • Telekinetic Cutting - Through direct contact, Minji is capable of telekinetically cutting things as if she was cutting it with an ultra thin scalpel. This doesn't work on living flesh, since even a regular target's mind produces psionic waves that prevent the body from external change.
    • Telekinetic Force Manipulation - An extension of Minji's true power, TKF manipulation is where Minji is capable of releasing waves of power through the air and ground to varying effects. This can push cars and knock opponents off of their feet.
    • Telekinetic Combat - Minji is capable of infusing telekinesis with physical combat.
Weaknesses:
-Brain Damage - If her dain is somehow bramaged, she can't use her psychic abilities. This can range from simple concussions to full on knockouts.
-Technique - Telekinesis is a powerful ability. However, the one thing that Minji lacks is technique. She can be beaten hand to hand, by a faster or stronger opponent.
-Focus - Telekinesis won't work if she's in a state of panic.

Weapons & Equipment*:
-Portable Knife

Other*: Roxanne's younger half-sister. Different last names because of different fathers.

DailyRoLord DailyRoLord

Here are my two villains for Major Arc 4.

1:

Name: Jyugo Harukaze

Alias: Wildcard

Age: Mid-twenties.

Appearance: Wildcard is tall and thin, with purple eyes and hair.

Costume*: He dresses in theatrical red suits with a black tie and white gloves. He wears a purple coat over his suit. Wildcard wears a black top hat with a red band and a few cards slid in between the band and hat.

Personality*: Although he acts altruistic and caring normally, upon becoming a villain his true colors show. Wildcard is reckless and fun-loving, but with a vindictive side. He's always looking for a chance to hit the jackpot.

Side: Villain

Bio: He's the man with class at the poker table. Always full of smiles, until he casually reveals that he has a full house. Sighing, the people who decided to play him allow him to sweep up the money at the middle of the table, but he remains smiling. After all, Harukaze never loses. They whisper that he has half the deck up his sleeve, that he weights the dice, that he knows the dealer's cards. But Harukaze has never been caught in the act. His incredibly successful life at the casinos has led to him earning a great deal of money, which he invests. From the outside, he's a pleasant businessman with a hobby of betting. But nobody knows who he becomes at night.

Powers: Wildcard has abilities relating to gambling. They include:

-Cards: Wildcard can summon up to 52 cards at will, and send them flying through the air. His cards are razor-edged.
-Jackpot: Wildcard has partial control over luck, meaning that his attacks will land more often while his opponents will miss more often.
-Tells: By watching his opponents carefully, Wildcard becomes able to read their body language (ex. a furrowed brow means they will attack to the left side). With this information, he becomes better and better at countering attacks.

Weapons & Equipment*: His deck of cards.

(The other villain will be posted soon. Here are some of the AVD hero character sheets!)

Name: Kallia Kyushi

Alias: Winged Victory

Age: 26

Appearance: Kallia is tall, with a charismatic grin and amber eyes. Her hair is a fiery red color.

Costume*:Winged Victory's costume is a black and gold combat suit with a Kevlar lining. She has metal wings that are gold in color. On each hand, Winged Victory has a gauntlet with a pulsing red gem in the center.

Personality*: Kallia is kind and gentle, both as a hero and a human.

Side: Hero

Bio: Raised in Tarporley, Kallia grew used to a government presence and the constant villain attacks. Yet when she got on the wrong side of a shootout, Kallia was fatally wounded. Her hands and feet were crushed, and she had been stabbed multiple times with a cursed blade. However, this caused Kallia's latent powers to manifest. The slits ripped in her back healed and grew wings of steel. Her ruined hands and feet crumbled away, and metal curled over the stumps, forming clawlike hands and feet that could shoot fire. She ran away from home, making herself a living as a bounty hunter. Kallia took only jobs based on hunting for villains. Even if her employers were also bad people, what mattered most to her was taking down villains, one at a time, until they could never hurt her family again. However, Kallia overstepped during a battle against the supervillain Kraken. Recognizing her incredible abilities, the AVD opened a case file on her. They quickly found the small apartment she was renting with her savings, and broke in. Within the lab, Kallia's power manifestation and the way in which her powers regenerated her limbs was studied. The energy that fueled her claws was also of interest to the AVD, as it was a more reasonable first step on the path to channeling fire. Now freed, she roams the streets once more, yet something is different about her.

Powers: Steel wings that can shoot bladed feathers, steel hands and feet that shoot fire.

Weapons & Equipment*: Her jumpsuit.

Name: Fynir Modoka

Alias: Dire Wolf

Age: 32

Appearance: Short, stocky, and with wolf tattoos all over his body. A small moustache.

Costume*: Fur sprouts over most of his body, and ancient runes glow blue within his fur coat.

Personality*: Honest, but with a fierce love for his family that proved to be his downfall.

Side: Uncertain?

Bio: When he was a boy, Fynir discovered his powers. Living in a suburb just outside of MegaMetro, he found that the wolves in the forests were his best friends. He had never fit in at school, yet when he was with wolves, they welcomed him as one of their own. As he spent more time in the woods, his powers began to manifest around the age of 12 or 13. His teeth became pointed and jagged, and his hair grew longer. His parents, alarmed by his changes, followed him into the woods one day. There, they found Fynir running with a wolf pack, blood from a kill soaking his face. Horrified by their child's transformation, Fynir's parents hacked off his nails, filed down his teeth, and shaved the fur he had begun to grow. They moved to a Lambourn slum and worked to disguise Fynir's abnormalities. However, when some of the kids at school bullied Fynir, he lashed out, his claws instantly regrowing. Fynir ended up being expelled in the middle of high school for causing serious lacerations to other students. Fynir's family was fined for not registering their child as a superhuman and sending him to a superhuman school. Desperate to provide for them, Fynir got a job at a fast food joint, and ended up marrying one of the waitresses. Yet no matter how hard he worked, Fynir couldn't find a way to support his parents, his wife, and their three children. This was when the AVD recognized him as a potential test subject, and baited him into a fake gang known as the Black Angels, who were supposedly vigilantes. He was sent on a mission to bring down what they called a corrupt group of businessmen at a bank. Fynir realized too late that he had been tricked. The AVD brought him in, and he entered the testing program. His wolf attributes and transformation were prized for the increased strength and swiftness they lent him. Now that he is free, his path is unclear.

Powers: Fynir can call wolves (not very effective in MegaMetro), gain the attributes of a wolf, or become a massive wolf.

Weapons & Equipment*: N/A
