Character name: Adahay, Guardian of the Wampanoag
Species: Lycanthrope
Age: 18
Height: 6'2/ 8'2 (beast)
Hair Color: Black/Brown fur
Eye Color: Brown/Golden wolf eyes
Abilities: superior strength, speed and senses. Able to appear fully Human when not in beastly form.
Languages: Wampanoag, English.
History:
Born as the only Son of his Mother Sokanon and Father Habbamok, Adahay had never anticipated he would be chosen to be trained as the next Guardian. The old Guardian to take notice of such a humble family would come as a welcome blessing to the Boys parents. Adahay who was barely Seven years at the time, wouldn't be able to grasp the level of responsibility his new role would possess or the honor that it would be to one day serve as his Chiefs personal guard.
In the years of his transformation from a young boy of humble origins to a mighty wolf warrior, Adahay would be expected to train rigorously and take an oath to exist for the protection of his Chief and Tribe until his death. From the moment his mentor had bestowed the wolf upon him, the boy had made a vow to overcome the violent nature of the wolf, to become one with nature and to remain unmated for the greater good of his tribe. When he was a boy this Vow seemed an easy commitment, many generations of warriors had made such a vow before him, yet the reality was that Adahay had never truly had a choice.
Until his fifteenth year the young Guardian in training would shadow his mentor, learning the ways he was to live and serve a job that was at the time oh so simple. This simplicity would end as the Foreigners would begin to grow more numerous, taking land in the Wampanoag and other tribal territories. As time went on, the colonist would only grow more hostile towards the tribes, until his mentor and others would have to take action. This was only the beginning of troubles for the tribe as the guardian wolves had begun a fight resulting in accidental turnings amongst the colonist.
With new wolves beginning to appear amongst the white men, the Guardians quickly realized their mistake, being quick to back off and attempt to return into hiding.
It would only be a matter of months before the werewolf population had bolstered amongst the colonies and a fully fledged hunt had begun to stop the ailment from spreading. War between the Tribes and Colonies had erupted, and the werewolf hunters would make quick efforts to put an end to this werewolf outbreak, killing anyone who would get in their way, this including the guardians, who had attempted to train the new werewolf Colonist to control their new wild urges.
On a snowy Winters day, in a Colonist village north of Boston, Adahay's mentor would have been one of the guardians guiding these new wolves in control of their beasts. the teenage Adahay would hear the Chaos of battle from his hunt not far from them, however no amount of speed could have carried him to his Mentors aid fast enough to save him from the hunter as skilled as they obviously were. By the time the lad arrived the wolves had been slain, and amongst the carnage was the headless body of his late mentor.
Three years has passed since the young warrior had discovered the body of the wolf that trained him into the man he had become, the image of the headless corpse still burned behind his eyes, though he knew better than to seek vengeance regardless of the fire that burned in him to do so. It is now May of the year 1775, a now fully Grown Adahay operates as the Wampanoag tribes protector, keeping his wolfish appearance concealed as often as possible, though this becomes far more difficult as each full moon approaches. Few of those who call themselves Guardians still remain as the Hunters seem nearly successful in their mission, will Adahay be the next of his Order to be targeted?
