Collin Rivers, 16

It wasn't the first time he had been beaten up for who he was. Collin knew he was gay since the age of fourteen. In fact, he had run away from home because of his abusive father figure. The growing teenager touched his lower lip and winced. He could taste blood and wiped it away from his lower lip gingerly.

It was a hot summer night, and Collin had finally run away from the orphanage he had been placed in after being found from running away from his father and his home. Colling hated the orphanage. He always felt like a puppy waiting to be picked. When he knew full well no one would want someone like him. A long, deep breath escaped from the sixteen-year-old. Slowly Collin stood up in the alley way. His bracelets had been torn from his wrist and were ruined. His stripped t-shirt was dirty and torn. Someone had tried to stab him but only cut his belly. Just enough to ruin the shirt and get it wet with blood. One of his eyes had been blackened. His midsection was bruised and he had gained a kick to the head.

Wearily he reached around and felt the back of his head. His fingers came away with red upon them. Collin winced and slowly brushed off his jeans. The city lights didn't reach this particular part of the city. Collin was an outcast.

Moziah Conners, 34 in Human years

Moziah had just been minding his own business, working his eternal life away to seem like a normal person to the outside eyes. He struggled to quench his thirst, especially working within the city limits. That's why he lives on the outskirts of the town, in a house further into the forest, always having to head through the more rough part of town to head to his home.

Usually, he walked, not seeing the point in driving as he always had to replace his car sooner or later, and it was just a pain for him, but that didn't stop him from having a motorcycle at his house, one that he spent a lot of time taking care of, making sure it would almost never fail on him. That was something that could keep him entertained for eternity.

Moziah had just gotten into the rough part of town, not too far in when the overwhelming scent of blood came over his nose. What a pain, he hadn't eaten in two days, and there was that smell, tingling his nose and taunting him. With a growl and his hunger driving him, he followed the scent, heading further into the town before turning into an alleyway. There he saw a young sixteen-year-old boy, who looked like he had just been beaten.

Once finished brushing off his dirty jeans and dabbing away the blood from the scratch from the blade, Collin paused. His senses tingling as he looked up. In the shadows there appeared to be a man standing there. No doubt someone from the group come to finish him off. The young man tensed, backing away from the figure. After all, who knew who this man was or what he could want. After all, Collin had no money or anything of value. Except for his life. And even that was limited.

"Whose there?" He demanded, his voice nervous as he demanded the stranger to make himself known. Collin's heart hammered as he stopped backing away when he felt his back touch the brick wall. Colling swallowed hard, his heart hammering audible in his own ears. It was hard for Collin to see anything significant while the stranger remained in the darkness. All Collin could make out was the man's outline.

The male stood before him silently, his light green eyes looking over the figure of the male he could see in the darkness, taking a deep inhale as he breathed in the scent of the male's blood. This one smelt rather tasty, a small hum escaping his lips as he sauntered towards the male. "You seem to be quite injured." The male said bluntly, seeming a bit amused at the most. He stopped a few feet before him, knowing his prey could not escape him.

Suddenly there was no where the sixteen-year-old could escape to. Collin grimaced as his head throbbed a little. "I...Uh..." Collin trailed off, his heart hammering against his chest like it was trying to escape. Was this man here to finish him off? Was he hired by the ones that had beaten him up? "I'll be...Fine thanks." He managed. He quickly cast his sharp-gray-eyes around for a quick escape, but the stranger had thoroughly blocked off any easy way out.

"I'm not going to kill you." He hummed "Yet," He added at the end, getting closer to him as the scent of his blood intoxicated the male, him again giving a small hum, grabbing the boy's wrist and pulling the hand he had covered in blood up to his face. "You'll die soon, from blood loss. I wouldn't even have to do anything to you to drain you of your life." He hummed

As the stranger pulled his hand away from his belly, Collin winced, trying to resist and pull his wrist free from the stranger's strong grasp.
"What...What are you talking about?" Collin wondered, his voice trembling as he felt a wave of dizziness. "Who are you?" He asked next, still trying to wriggle his wrist free of the strangers fold.

"I'll make you a deal, boy." The male hummed, thinking about taking the human for himself, after all, he had never smelled blood this divine and rich. "I'll save your life, give you new clothes, a place to sleep, warm meals to eat, even a bath, and a sense of security. All in return for a small favor." He offered to the younger male, a small smirk pulling at the edges of his lips.

For several long moments, the young man didn't reply.
"And...What...What small favor is that?" Collin closed his eyes for a few moments as he felt another wave of dizziness. His hand was still in the stranger's grasp. A blot of blood about the size of a small soft ball had colored his striped shirt.

"In return for all of that, I'll offer you a job. You'll be a blood bank of sorts to me." He hummed, leaving the offer out to the male, with the way he was taking him home, and a no from him wasn't going to stop him in the slightest. He was just trying to be nice to the human and offer him a choice.

At those words, Collin froze at the stranger's words. What in the world was he talking about? The young man squirmed within the man's grip. Only succeeding in bruising his wrist.

"What...What are you talking about..." Collin couldn't believe his ears. A long deep breath escaped from Collin as he tried to process what he had just heard. This man spoke like he wasn't human or something! Was he crazy? "You're...You're crazy!" He barked.

He just gave a small laugh, watching the human squirm "You are only hurting yourself more, child. It's an offer, but you are coming with me either way. I'm just saying, with your blood type, it's rather rare and nice, good on the pallet. Sweet, addictive, and had a great flow to it." He hummed, smiling.

"What...What in the world are you talking about?!?" The young man demanded, letting out a huff of breath. "You're talking like you aren't human or something." He told the man. A long groan suddenly could be heard from Collin. Before the stranger could reply, Collin fell forward, clearly unconscious from the loss of blood.

The male shook his head gently as he caught the male who collapsed into his arms, a small smirk crossing his lips. “Ah, quite unfortunate, you’ve fallen asleep.” He hummed, slinging him over his shoulder, carrying him off towards home, only taking some blood the male was already loosing.

A long, groggy groan could be heard from the blonde-haired-boy began to wake. It took Collin several long moments to recall what had occurred before waking. He was lying upon a bed that looked and felt like it belonged in a five star hotel. Where...Where was he...? After a few moments of thought his memory returned and remembered the stranger. He was covered in blood but at least he wasn't bleeding any more.

It was better than it could be. The younger male could be dead on the streets currently, or he could be being beat again. Now he was in a seemingly amazing place, bed, and his blood flow had stopped. There was also a bathroom in his room, the door open and a folded pair of fresh clothing on the bed for him. That way the male could get a shower and freshen himself up.
