Isaac had scooped up another handful of snow, intent on launching more of it at the other students but the fun was cut short whenever one of the human students went down in a flurry of snowballs. Isaac stopped in his tracks and bust out laughing, the poor guy had tried to cover Bran from the incoming snowballs, Isaac held his stomach and laughed a bit more as the headmistress came out from the school, leaning down to check on the downed student. Isaac sauntered over, taking in the scene. "Oh my god you're such a hero!" Isaac called out sarcastically, referring to Blackmore. He dropped the snow in his hands and walked toward the front door, giving Blackmore his biggest, cheesiest, fakest smile, on his way over. Isaac pushed through the doors and stretched out his arms and yawning. The fun was ruined thanks to the little human getting hurt which really meant they were vulnerable if snow could do that. Isaac sighed and made his way toward the Sports arena.

As he walked, his phone vibrated slightly notifying him of a message. It was in the Valendor group chat, a meeting held by Bran. Interesting. Maybe it had something to do with the new kid getting hurt? Who knows. For now, Isaac was intent on getting in a quick training session - the snowball fight had put him in the mood.

-

The sports arena buzzed with loud music. Objects moved at lightning quick speed, bouncing off the walls and against the floor. Isaac stood in the middle of the arena, holding what looked like a long metal staff, wearing only shorts - his feet bare. Sweat bubbled across the boys body, glistening against his tone abdomen. What looked like a holographic man rushed forward toward Isaac, throwing the same type of holographic knives. Isaac dropped his right shoulder, dodging a knife before going on the offensive, spinning the staff as he ran. Isaac slid along the floor, dodging another flurry of knives. He jumped from the sitting position and with deadly accuracy he smashed the staff into the side of the holographs head. Before he could even take a second to look around, another figure lunged forward. Isaac jumped backwards and took up a defensive stance, holding the staff out. Another figure joined the first, this one was holding a rather menacing looking sword. Isaac smirked and within a split second he was moving once more. The speed was incredible, to the naked eye he would be a mere blur.

Firstly Isaac expertly moved toward the holo with a sword. Always eliminate the target that poses the biggest threat. The holo launched forward, swinging the sword in an arc toward Isaac. He instantly reacted by slipping left and kicking his right foot into the back of the holos knee, dropping the holo into a kneel. Isaac quickly wheeled around and used the kneeling holo as a platform to run and jump from to get height on the next holo who had come to his friends aid. Isacc leaped an impressive height, flying above the other holo who stood atleast six foot tall. Isaac landed neatly behind the holo and without even turning around he jabbed the staff behind him, the staff penetrating the holos back. Isaac ripped it out and spun around in time to bring the staff back up to stop a sword from cutting him in two. The kneeling holo had gotten up and was now attacking Isaac once more.

Isaac held the staff horizontally, the holo sword pressed against the middle of the staff. Isaac pushed upward, sending the sword above the holos head and then used this split second advantage to quickly sparta kick the holo backwards. The holo fell down, sliding along the ground from the impact, the sword doing the same but in the opposite direction. Isaac strode forward and before the holo could defend himself, Isaac planted the staff into him. The holo disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

Isaac was breathing heavily but this was light compared to what he was used to. After all he did have supernatural stamina.

Mori Asano Eizan
The Thunder Kitsune
Mori struggled to hold his smile as Azuris frowned him, asking if the single bag he carried was truly all he had to bring with him. The fox was more than a little upset about having lost his own personal room, no matter how possibly temporary the situation was. Since his arrival at the school, Mori had turned his personal bedroom into an indoor sanctuary. He’d had a forest mural painted on the walls, an enormous window to overlook the view of the forest outside. His bed had been little more than a wooden box suspended from the wall containing a small mattress several blankets. His bathroom had been all dark stone, containing a shower with a dark green curtain, a toilet with a wooden seat cover, and a granite sink. The floors had been covered in a fuzzy chocolate brown carpet topped with several large pillows and more fuzzy blankets. His armoire had been made of oak, and the lamp in the corner had a lampshade made of green fabric embroidered with leaves. It had been Mori’s favorite place besides outside, and now it had been reduced to nothing more than a bland, regular old room for some boring human to call theirs. It was terribly unfair. Why had he been chosen to give up his room? Why couldn’t they have made one of the others do it?

Still frowning, Mori followed Azuris down the rest of the hallway to the merman’s own personally decorated room. He certainly hoped none of the humans ever saw this particular room. If Tehuri wanted to keep the preternatural nature of the school and its students a secret from her human guests, he hoped she was prepared to explain why half of the rooms in the building were off limits to them. It would certainly be hard to explain to one of them why a student’s bedroom was almost entirely water. He was sure that would be something quite unusual to them. Once Azuris opened the door, Mori stepped inside behind him, suddenly eager to see the merman’s room. Like the rest of the students, he’d already known it was almost entirely water, which made sense considering Azuris’s species, but he’d never actually been inside and seen it for himself. In fact, he didn’t think anyone had.

Upon entering the room, Mori took in the platform upon which he stood, noting where it led on each side. Directly across from the entrance was a pair of double doors that led outside—doors Mori would be using quite often. He knew it was a balcony, but he could easily use it as an exit. He supposed that was a bonus to staying in Azuris’s room—he had a set of doors through which Mori could enter and exit in his preferred form without worry of alerting the humans to his supernatural identity. That was a luxury he would not have had had he remained in his own room during the humans’ stay. Running along the wall in the same direction, Mori could see two more doors leading into what he guessed was Azuris’s bathroom and walk-in closet. The walk-in closet was another amenity that would be entirely new to Mori, as he hadn’t had one in his room either. The size of Azuris’s room was new to him as well. He was a fox of simple pleasures, so such luxuries were unnecessary to him. He would check those other rooms out later.

Turning his gaze back to Azuris, Mori followed him with his eyes as the merman walked over the little arched bridge that led to the platform in the center of the room, which held Azuris’s furniture. He had only a bed, two dressers, two nightstands on either side of the bed with two lamps on top of them, and a single chair, which was comforting to Mori. Sparse furniture was something he was familiar with—though the enormous size of the bed was not. Compared to Mori’s small wooden box, Azuris’s bed was the size of a mountain—the fox was sure he was going to get lost beneath the enormous blanket covering it. He had to chuckle at the thought. Hell, maybe he’d even make a game out of it. He was sure he could find a way.

He smiled at Azuris’s back when the merman welcomed him to his room, appreciating that Azuris identified it as his new room as well. He knew the merman probably wasn’t any more pleased with sharing his room that Mori was to leave his own, so he was grateful that he was at least attempting to play nice and make the fox feel welcome. In fact, Mori believed he had seen more friendliness from Azuris in the last half an hour than he had in his entire span of knowing him. He found he liked the nicer version of Azuris far more than the consistently frigid one that existed outside of this room. He was hoping maybe his stay with the merman would give him time to try and thaw out some of that icy exterior—maybe even make a friend.

As Azuris pointed to the second small dresser on the platform, stating it was gifted by Blackmore for him to use, Mori made his way across the bridge and set his bag down on top of it. He was contemplating whether or not he wanted to put his small bit of belongings into the drawers when Azuris spoke again. Mori turned his gaze to him, listening as Azuris told him various things about the room. A small spark of disappointment assailed him when Azuris told him the bed was his to use. It wasn’t necessarily that he wanted to share a bed with Azuris, but it was such a big bed, he feared he may have trouble sleeping in it alone. He was used to small spaces when he slept.

Mori nodded when Azuris offered him free reign of the balcony, chuckling when he mentioned it may need cleaning. It made sense that such a thing would be rarely used by a merman. Azuris had no need for it when he preferred the water. Mori, however, would quite enjoy it. Not only did he like to be high up, but he liked to be outside, and he would enjoy jumping from windowsill to windowsill until he reached the ground every early morning or late night when he went for his daily run. He didn’t mind having the clean the patio furniture—he had never minded cleaning. Why would he? He could make a game out of it if it ever bored him.

Mori laughed out loud when Azuris pinned him with a stern and serious glare and declared his singular rule for his room. To Mori, it was such an outrageous rule. What person with any care or manners would do such a thing to a merman? They lived in the water. It was absolutely deplorable to think anyone would urinate in it, so why Azuris felt he needed to vocalize such a rule was lost on the fox. It was the look on Azuris’s face when he said it that Mori found so utterly comical. It was clear, however, when Azuris’s facial expression did not change, that the merman did not find it quite as funny, and the fox quickly reigned in his laughter, though an amused half-smile still remained.

Mori’s attention was distracted by his phone when the little device buzzed in his pocket. In three hundred years, he had never really seen the need for one, but upon arriving at school and noticing several other students possessed one, he had figured it was best to get one if he wanted to keep contact with any friends he made while here after he completed his studies. Clicking on the screen to illuminate it, Mori opened the group message he’d received and quickly read it. He had received similar invitations before, but he usually did not intend, as he had heard Bran’s glug parties were usually a bit too rowdy for Mori’s tastes. He was a big fan of fun but drinking and partying were not among his idea of a good time. He would think of going, but more than likely, he would use the focus of attention on the glug party as an ample opportunity to shift and venture back out into the woods for the day. Classes would not resume until after the winter break, so he had lots of time to skill, and spending it all with Azuris did not sound like fun. Hearing Azuris’s voice addressing him once more, Mori texted back a maybe and turned off the phone, setting it down on his dresser before raising his gaze back to Azuris.

A sound akin to the squeak of a field mouse escaped through his lips at the sight in front of him. Azuris’s shoes had been kicked off onto the floor, the rest of his outfit discarded on the bed. He was standing with his back facing Mori on the edge of the platform—completely naked!
“Bare ass! That’s Azuris’s bare ass!! I’m looking at Azuris’s BARE ASS!!!” Mori’s thoughts ran rampant on repeat through his head, his Adam’s apple bobbing. Frozen in place, he felt the appreciative spark of attraction run down his spine, and the feeling seemed to snap him out of his reverie. Letting out another squeak, Mori immediately shifted into his fox form to hide the impending blush racing up his neck. He was so very glad that unlike werewolves, a kitsune’s clothes did not rip upon shifting, but rather fell off, leaving them in a heap under Mori’s furry white feet.

Scurrying across the platform, Mori leaped up onto the bed and buried himself between the pillows in embarrassment, hoping Azuris would not pick up on the cause of Mori’s behavior.

Aleksi Valdir
Beta of the Eryna pack

Aleksi had not noticed Cynder coming closer and thus he was a bit surprised by the little nudge to his side. Had he been a cat himself, he would have purred in response, but alas. All he could produce was a soft little whining sound as Cynder was already focussing on his female roommate that he had helped before. Still, his mood was improving drastically. Cyncer had comforted him! Cynder cared for him! Yes, that tail would have been wagging now.

Aleksi looked over to his own roommate when asked if this happened a lot. Nope, since most of them weren't as fragile as humans. Yet he wasn't given the chance to answer as Finnley asked something else instead. Baseball, pitching. Hmm, he could see where the other was coming from. "Yeah, back home, I used to play with the pack," he grinned. It wasn't a lie. They did play it frequently, but all just for fun. As far as you could play just for fun with a bunch of competitive guys and girls...

"These yours?" He asked as he picked up the little bagage Finnley had with him. He had figured it out based on smell, and well there was only a small pile left. He picked it up and then led the other up the stair to the second floor where their room was. "This is ours," he said, "don't go into that one. It belongs to mister Grumpy and he will drown you for disturbing his privacy." Rather literally so. He looked a bit around the dark colored room. It was nothing really special. "Feel free to change as much or as little as you want," he said.

Aleksi had just let himself fell back on the comfortable back when he could hear the sound of nails scratching on hardwood, right when the phone was buzzing as well. He slid down the message from Bran, while on the way to the door. He laughed a bit as he 'danced' a bit around to avoid the bear cub actually being able to bite his ankles. Pierogi was certainly the number two reason he ended up with damaged and ripped clothes. So much that Selena had told him he could only bring items if they were really important to him. He didn't blame her for that. "Hello, little man," Aleksi grinned as he picked up the bear cub and cuddled him against his bare chest. "Bran asks if we are interested to come for glug," he said.

Esmeralda Torres
The friendly cook

Esmee was a bit taken aback by how her offered was turned down. Her eyes widening before she averted them to observe her normally white shoes, by now they had a bit of an ash grey mud brown look to them. Would she be able to clean that out? She for sure could not use them in the kitchen anymore. And they had been so expensive.... Then again who could have foreseen a building collapsing and trapping her underneath it? It still was hard to believe that was now a bit over 24 hours ago?

Selena had kept chattering on, while she had spaced out a bit, until she could hear the tone of the ladies voice change. She quickly looked up when a fridge was mentioned as she looked at the hello kitty covered appliance. "Oh, uh, yes of course!" She already felt like she was invading her privacy, so she sure as hell would try to make sure to keep things as untouched as possible. Medicine? There were a lot of medicines that had to be stored cold, so she didn't further question it. "No, no, that is okay. I don't need a fridge here," she said quickly. She would just use the one downstairs or in the rooms she was just shown.

Esmeralda turned towards her bare side of the room as she started to unpack the little things she had. Her two outfits and most of her kitchen stuff. "Please don't be alarmed by the insane amount of knives I have, and please do not touch them," she said as she took out her set. She would never leave them behind in the kitchens that were accessible for everyone. "They are extremely sharp, and I wouldn't want you to get hurt," she explained. Though that was half of the truth. Her knives were the only things that truly belonged to her, she felt, and to have them disturbed...

"A gathering?" Esmee asked, already looking fairly unsure about the whole ordeal. That meant more than just them would be there. She gave a little nod when Selena announced she was definitely going, and she was happy the female didn't feel like she had to stay here and keep her company. She would be fine on her own. Not that she had much of an excuse. She basically was settled into the room already. "I will... I will come with you," she said, already regretting the words she spoke. But maybe it would give her a chance to thank the male for bringing her stuff all the way here?

Selena
Selena looked at her roommates impressive knife collection. "Why would your knives concern me? You're a chef, its only logical. Your trade requires a lot of knives, my trade requires a lot of needles." Selena shrugged and then smiled. "But dont you worry, cross my heart," Selena crossed her heart with her index finger as she said so "I shall not touch your cooking utinsles."

Selena noticed that Esmeralda didnt have much in her belongings, especially in the way of things to wear. It wasnt that Selena was trying to be nosey, she just happened to notice the fact. That was all. Selena hopped off the bed and walked over to her closet, pulling out some of her more casual clothes and laying them out on top of the matress. Among them being some pastel sweaters and sweatshirts and comfortable jeans. "I don't know if these will fit, but you are welcome to wear some of my things until you get settled. We look like we could be around the same size. I could always adjust them for you. I would hate for you to be uncomfortable during your stay." Shoes were tricky though. Selena couldnt judge whether or not her shoes could fit Esmeralda, and hers were beginning to look worse for wear. Maybe somewhere in the theater departments costume closet was a pair of shoes she could snag for her. But, Selena would wait until it was nessissary to burgle some shoes from the theater.

Once Selena felt that Esmeralda was comfortable, she opened the door and led the girl outside and to Bran's dorm room. "Oh, wait till you see Bran's room! It's wonderful!" Once in front of the man's door Selena rapped her pale knuckles against the wood. From behind the door she could smell the concoction Bran reffered to as "glug" simmering over a warm fire. "Bran, it's me, Selena! I've brought Esmeralda, my roommate from Dolgas! She said you helped her with her bags?"

Aspen

Blackmore had asked the students of Valendore to join her for breakfast as a way to welcome the mortal students. Aspen, having stayed up late the night before nursing a bottle of vodka and a bottle of whiskey while watching human reality TV shows (with the school being on break his choice of company was very limited, ugh), chose to decline Miss Tehuri's offer. I mean, what was she going to do? Expell him? For sleeping in? Hah! If she was going to do that she would have done it a long time ago.

Rubbing sleep out of his eyes, Aspen peeled himself out of bed and made his way to the shower. He stood under the steaming hot water until it began to run cold, and then threw on a sweatshirt with some band he had never heard of before plastered all over the front. Had he bought this shirt, or had a stranger left it here? Who knew. Not him, that was for sure. He tugged on a pair of jeans and slipped on some comfortable shoes and made his way to the dorm kitchens.

Aspen opened the fridge and looked through the contents. What looked like a container of leftover's with the Wilhelmia's name written on it in Sharpie. That would make for a good brunch. The girl was a pushover in Aspen's eye's. If she confronted him about it he would wiggle his way out of it somehow. Besides, it was just leftovers. Why make such a fuss over something as little as that?

Aspen popped the food in the microwave and looked out the window while he waited for it to warm. A group of students emerged from the main hall and began throwing snowballs at each other, among them were the humans Blackmore was sheltering from Dolgas. Aspen pulled the food from the microwave and watched the group engaged in winter warfare. At one point, the werewolf threw a projectile that knocked one of the mortals out cold. Aspen laughed out loud, food spewing from his mouth, at the sight. A manner very unbecoming of someone of his standing. But, eh. He was alone. Who gave a shit?

The snowball fight ended and Aspen threw away the now empty container. On his way back up to his dorm his phone buzzed in his pocket. A message in the group chat, from Bran of all people, declaring there was a Glug party. Finally! Some action around here! Aspen hurried back to his room and exchanged his lounge clothes for something a bit nicer. A plain T-shirt with a leather jacket and some uncomfortably tight jeans that showed off all the right spots. Running some gel through his ginger hair, Aspen winked at himself in the mirror and made his way to Bran's dorm.

Standing in front of the door already was the vampire, Selena. She was knocking on the wood and quite loudly explaining how Bran had helped her new roommate carry her bags. The aforementioned roommate stood beside Selena, looking both tired and nervous at the same time. Despite this, she was quite the looker. Once the girl got settled, Aspen would have to try his luck with her.

" 'scuze me, Dollface." Aspen said to Selena as he pushed past her and towards the door. He looked back with amusement as the vampiress huffed with annoyance at the nickname. In his defense, she did dress like a doll. One of those creepy Victorian ones at that. Aspen had been around when those dolls were in fashion. They were creepy then, an they were creepy now. Without asking for permission, Aspen opened the door to Bran's room.

"Bran, my man!"
He exclaimed as he stepped over the threshold. "How are you on this fine winter's day!" Aspen stepped over to the young man and clapped a hand on his shoulder. Off to the side Aspen could see one of the human's from Dolgas already passed out on the furniture. "Oh ho! Looks as if your new friend here got started without us. How rude! Let's say we get this party started, eh?" Aspen clasped his hands together eagerly looking for anything vaguely resembling alcohol.

The glug was brewing up nicely, so Bran took the time to write. Poetry was his passion, and it helped him unwind, particularly on a day like this. He had just finished a line when there was a loud knock at the door. A broad smile flowed over Bran's face as he heard Selena's voice. Setting the pen next to his work, he was about to close the large leather bound writing journal when the door flew open. Instinct took over as Bran whirled around, subconsciously reaching for a weapon. Taking a moment to still himself and draw in a breath, Bran stood up. Taking in the visage of Aspen, Bran frowned slightly. There were few people at Valendor who Bran actively disliked, but Aspen was near the type of that list. Still, Bran was hosting, and if there was one thing Bran obeyed above all else, it was the Rule of Hospitality. The room itself smelled of leather, wood and a strong scent of apples.

"Ah, Aspen. Welcome. The glug will be ready in a moment. I have tea in the meantime. A nice jasmine to warm the blood. Is that Selena behind you? Hello, Selena. And Esmee too. A nice surprise. Come in, sit, I have the fire going." Bran pointed to a couple old overstuffed armchairs perched near the fire. His own chair, a massive hand carved oak seat was planted in front of Bran's desk. The journal in front of the chair was still open, and a curious person could read the lines within.
'What fresh new agony, this?
The sharpest arrow striking true
If love, what then of loss?
If joy, what then of despair?
Words fail, tongue slips
My feelings you cannot know
My feelings you could never share.
-B. Silverash.'
Motioning them to sit, Bran grabbed the old cast iron tea pot and filled his cup again.
"Selena, I have some of that... special vintage in the cabinet underneath the bookcase. As I recall you enjoyed that last time." Bran hoped Selena would pick up on his offer. The Erynan people had long discovered that getting a vampire drunk was very difficult. So they had learned to brew a concoction using the local herbs that would give a vampire a pleasant feeling of euphoria. Bran kept a few bottles around for Selena, though his father had intended them for the Headmistress.
"Aspen, since you no doubt would like something stronger, you can break out some of the cognac. Some of it was laid down by my great-grandfather, so try to at least enjoy the flavor a little." A loud plop from the enormous glug pot made Bran laugh.
"The glug is ready. Let me get you some glasses." Digging around in one of the cabinets above his desk, Bran produced several glass steins, placing them on the desk.
"Please. Help yourselves!"

Finnley Walker
Location:
Room 2.01 / Interactions: Aleksi ( DarkiusHeavenstein DarkiusHeavenstein )
Finn's grin returned in full force. Aleksi's previous rage dropped from their thoughts. After all, he didn't seem angry anymore. They must've just imagined it. They perked up at Aleksi's answer. For a short while, Finn had become engrossed in baseball stats. The obsession only lasted a few months, but they managed to memorize all three hundred and twenty-three players who were in the hall of fame at the time (though, he likely would fail to list them all now). "The Pack?" Finn echoed. "Was that your team name?"

"Oh-"
He, momentarily distracted, nearly tripped over the short step into the building and just barely managed to catch himself on a nearby railing. "Y- yeah," He chuckled, releasing a shaky breath. A slight blush met his already frost-pinkened face as he awkwardly stepped over the ridge.

A blast of warm air met them as they made their way inside. In all honesty, Finn had forgotten how cold it was outside, but he appreciated the heat nonetheless (even if his fingers were beginning to sting a bit from the sudden change in temperature). He took careful notice of where the stairs began this time as he slid his hand across the wall beside him (he wouldn't want another arm brace). They glanced toward the room Aleksi mentioned and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind."

They did not, in fact, keep this in mind. They forgot about it the instant the door to their own room opened. It was positively amazing. The scattered clusters of lightbulbs (each one swinging at the end of a long, black cord), the tree mural on the wall, the patio overlooking the forest below... Their jaw dropped at the sight of it all. They scarcely noticed what Aleksi was saying, only snapping out of their awe when-

"Bear?" He gasped. Trying very hard not to squeal, he lowered his voice to a starry-eyed, breathless whisper, "He's. So. Cute!" His hands twitched as he blurted his thoughts without taking a breath. "What's his name- oh, wait, Bran said that at breakfast. Pierogi! How old is he? He looks really fuzzy- Does Bran have a license for him or can people just have a bear? He looks so-" He pressed a sleeve to his mouth to keep from repeating himself. It took him a few seconds to process what Aleksi had said. "Oh, cool! That sounds fun!" Then a pause and, as an afterthought, "What's glug?"

Wilhelmina Day

After making her third circle around the greenhouse wilma stopped. Everything is fine, you're just stalling. Leaning against one of the cluttered tables her fingers tapped its edge rhythmeicly as she internally debated with herself. Stay. Go. Stay. Go. Stay. Go. Aaauughh! She grumbled frustratedly, not noticing her feet had already made the decision and carried her to the lobby. Upon noticing she huffed and finished walking up the steps.

Wilma thought of stopping at her dorm for a moment but quickly shook her head. No you're not running off. This will be fine. Just go on, say hello, chats for a few minutes then go. Bran's a nice guy you're not scared of him. Sure, but who else will be there. There wasn't anyone at the school she absolutely disliked, more so because she didn't know many people personally. She shoved her hands in her pockets, her shoulders rising a little as she walked up to the open door and peaked inside listening to the chatter that had started. Not trying to look awkward she stepped in she said a soft "Hello." Giving a look to who was there already.

She noted Selena and her roommate, which she couldn't remember the name of. Selena was pleasant enough. A very creative person given her talent with sewing. The whole blood drinking thing freaked her out a little but she couldn't fault her for something she couldn't control. And Bran of course considering this was his dorm. As her black eyes continued to sweep the room she almost backed out when seeing Aspen. To rephrase the earlier statement, There were very few people at the school Wilhelmina disliked. Aspen had a center spot for simply just being a nuisance and quite rude to put it mildly. But for fear of looking awkward for just saying 'Hi' and leaving she stepped to the side and approched Selenas roommate. Replacing her anxious gaze with a cheerful smile. "Hey, you must be Selenas roommate. I apologize I dont think I got your name. I'm Wilma." She almost reached her hand out to her but quickly kept them in her coat pockets. "Suffice to say we don't get many visitors here so it's nice to meet you."

Isaac turned the shower off and hopped out. He had finished his training session and was now getting ready to head over to Bran's room. It seemed that everyone was going to be there, or at least the ones that used phones anyway. Getting changed into a new outfit, Isaac picked up his beloved sword and strapped it to his back. As he got ready, he wondered if maybe Bran was getting everyone together for fun or if he had another motive? Isaac knew Bran had a dislike for Blackmore so maybe they were on the same wave length. Either way, Isaac wanted to find out. Closing the door the room that he now shared with Wilma, Isaac walked towards Bran's room. He hadn't had much time with his new roommate but honestly it was a sweet upgrade from the old, cramped room that he used to sleep in. This new one had a balcony so if he had to share with Wilma then so be it.

Isaac reached Bran's room door. He'd never been inside and honestly he wasn't even sure that Bran would let him inside. Oh well no harm in trying. Isaac knocked the door, his acute hearing was picking up voices and heartbeats inside. Something about cognac and other alcohol. Knocking the door, Isaac turned the handle and walked in. He was greeted by a number of his fellow classmates and the humans from Dolgas. "Please everyone, remain seated!" Isaac announced in his Irish accent, "yes, I have indeed arrived!" he flashed a disarming smile. He scanned the room quickly. Bran was getting glasses. Wilma was in attendance and talking with one of the humans. Selena also, Isaac wasn't too sure of her. A vampire but seemingly a nice one, if that's even a thing. His eyes then landed on Aspen. Isaac grinned, "Who invited buddy the elf?" he laughed, nodding toward the Fae.

Tehuri Blackmore
The Ancient Vampire Queen

Bran had not been happy with her so close to the human, and he had made his point very clear. Tehuri had felt the growing, annoying, tingling feeling that slowly changed to a thousand needle pins under the skin. Somewhat like when a body part had been slightly cut of from free bloodcirculation. Or at least that was what she thought, from the way others explained that 'sleeping' bodypart feeling. Though for her it was caused by nothing else than the huge male and his faith that he was calling upon, channeling it through the impressive tattoo on his back. Yes, his opinion on her help was very clear as she watched him carry the fallen male away.

Her emerald eyes watched how the rest of the students started to move out as well. Some taking their new roommates to their rooms, others chosing to continue their path and fun elsewhere with different hobbies. Wilma hesitating, before making her way to the plants and what all she took care off. It made the vampire smile gently. Such a sweet being she was. Isaac moving towards the arena. Well, he knew how to use it, so she wasn't too worried about him. And if he did ended up getting hurt, so be it. It would be a good lesson.

"Ah, yes, let me bring you to your room," she spoke after awhile. The snow was starting to pick up some more, but it was the cold wind that started to bother her. Gracefully she made her way back inside again as she led the human and his bags to the right room. And like a true gentleman, he of course, didn't let her lift a single finger to help. Oh, if he only knew the great strength she did possess. But for now she wasn't gonna make him any wiser than he was, if ever.

Her high heels ticked as she made her way back to her own room eventually. Only to be overtaken by that bear cub that had ran up to the lycans room. Her lips narrowed to a thin line, more at the side of the lycan than anything else. Sure, the bear was cute. Which was the only reason she had allowed Bran to keep it. That, and the knowledge that whole of Valendor would have caused a riot if she would have turned Pierogi, or whatever it was called, away.

Tehuri closed the door behind her as she listened in on the message the animal had brought. Was it really eavesdropping? She couldn't help it she had superior hearing. A glug party at Brans room. How much fun... And she had said she would check up on Dexter later on. So off the clothes went and not much later she wiggled herself in a tight black dress, perfect for a party. Once again showing off all her good features. She brushed her hair, letting it fall lose and wild around her face as she popped on some red lipstick and onto Brans room she went.

The headmistress was by far not the first to arrive she noted. She was not even the first vampire to arrive, but that was all okay. The door to the room was left open and yet she did not step in any further than the treshold. She was still bound by old vampire traditions, something the youngest generations seemed to be unbothered by. Her eyes scanning the room casually, as if it was the most normal thing for a headmistress to find her students getting drunk. "Bran, can I come in? I just want to check upon Dexter one last time..." she asked as she waited for permission to enter the personal grounds of the male. Though she wouldn't be too surprised if the answer would be no.

Azuris
Young Prince of Nilmehona

There had been a very clear laugh behind him after he had stated his number one rule. He could have known the fox would have found it funny. Though it was absolutely not a laughing matter to him. However the fox quickly seemed to realize that as the laughter died, but that amused expression stayed. So be it. He wouldn't find it that amusing anymore if he did end up peeing in the pool.

Any other reactions behind him didn't call for his attention as the merman jumped into the water with quite some grace. He held his breath for a moment as the salt water surrounded him and hugged his fully naked body. His gills quickly opening up and taking over the breathing. His legs were pressed together as scales quickly covered the skin and the complete look of them changed. They grew longer into a nice azure blue tail, hence where his name came from. They were all called after the color of their scales. The blue scales stopped around his waist, his upperbody staying untouched by any changes. In emergency he could let his whole skin be covered by the impenetrable scales to protect himself from dangers.

His tail moved and he made a quick round through the perimeter of the pool, before pulling up to the side where he had jumped in. It was only then that he noticed that Mori was no longer there. He looked confused over his shoulder towards the doors that lead outside and to the walk in closet as well as the bathroom. Though they seemed to be untouched. With a deep frown he looked back at the platform, where the other should have been. Where had he... The questioning thought was broken when he noticed the heap of clothes on the ground. "Mori?" His voice had not changed in the slightest. He pushed himself a bit up on the platform, but without legs he would not be able to get far. In the end the question stayed the same. Where had the other gone?

He let himself slide back and made a slower round around the platform, keeping more to the surface now. Something that was rather annoying. He couldn't really use his gills that way, which automatically seemed to be the default when he was in the waters. Half way through he noticed the tuff of orange on the bed. "Ah, there you are," he muttered. Again he pushed himself upon the platform, but only to make sure it was indeed the little fox. What else would it be though? It was not like he had anything orange. Had he scared the other with the sudden change? He had not meant to. Why did he even care if he had? He shook his head as he pushed himself into the water, diving deeper as he made a more leisured round through the water. Perhaps something else had set of the fox. What did he care?

Esmeralda Torres
The friendly cook

The redhead turned around when the other lady was moving. She noticed her taking out some clothes, was she planning on changing before going to the party? The answer came rather quickly and caused Esmeralda to blush lightly. "That is.. that is very sweet of you, Selena," she said softly. It really did warm her heart the other was willing to not only share the room, but also her clothes. Even after having offered to make her some outfits. This lady truly had a heart of golden.

Curiously she looked over at the selected clothes. The current outfit of her roommate was way out of her comfortzone. Even though she did like the way the other looked and the style over all, it was just not something she would wear herself. She picked up one pair of jeans and swiftly lay it over her shoulders, checking the waist of the pants around her neck. It was an easy trick to safe her the hassle from having to put on the jeans. They seemed to fit indeed, but of course it would always be a bit of a gamble. The other was a bit taller than her and she had a healthy female figure. Unlike Esmee, who was slightly underweight.

Her hands picked up one of the pastel pink sweaters. "Thank you," she said softly as she quickly took the clothes along to the bathroom. As expected the jeans were a bit too long, but she quickly rolled them up a bit, that was no problem. The sweater was maybe a size too big, but she didn't mind. Actually she prefered it. She looked down at her shoes, she really couldn't wear those to the party. Though she had another pair maybe... She came out of the bathroom, tugging a bit on the sweater. "I think it all fits," she said with a small smile. She checked her bags and hidden away in the bottom she found a pair of black converse shoes. They were old, but at least looked a lot better than her kitchen shoes. She quickly put them on and then followed Selena out of the room.

She was silent as she looked around, more to make sure she'd remember the way back to safety if needed. Brans room seemed to be the room right below them. She took a deep breath as she glanced back through the hallway. Suddenly feeling like this was the worst idea ever, but Selene was already knocking and saying her name. There was no escape now. Maybe just for a bit... The polite half hour stay before disappearing to the safely of loniness. The idea of hiding in her own room, even if it was still an unfamiliar one, became stronger with each passing second. Especially when she could feel those eyes on her.

So easily and swiftly the male came forward, calling Selena dollface. That was never a good sign and she could feel herself tense up as she stepped back. Automatically creating as much distance between her and this male as possible. Everything about him, from the way he moved, to the way he had dressed, to the way he talked and the words he chose to speak made her hairs stand up. "I...-" She wanted to stammer out an excuse, her brain frantic searching for one. She could just say she forgot something at her room! But what? And suddenly there was that warm, deeper voice answering at the door. Her name was spoken and they were invited further into the room and thus any chance of escape was ripped from her.

Silently she followed as she let her eyes slide through the enormous room. How had they even gotten it set up like this? She kept track somewhat of where everyone was, but did not follow in on the conversation that was going on. The lingering scent of leather and wood had quite a calming effect on her. Her eyes drawn to the open journal, though she was not a curious or nosy person by nature. The written words seemed to pull her in as she read the lines, while the offer of a drink was made behind her. Special liquors pointed out to those who were already present. Her fingers were reaching for the paper, just to strike over those beautiful words as if they were carressing a lover's cheek, when there was suddenly a voice much closer and directly. Almost as if she was caught doing something illegal, she pulled her hand back against her chest and turned to..Wilma, apparently.

There was a blush on her cheeks as she shook her head. "That... That is o-okay." A stutter made itself known, causing her voice to follow the same hectic pattern as her heart. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. There was no reason to freak out. No one was calling her out or mad at her. "Esmeralde," she said, [/b]"my name."[/b] Her voice was still a bit shaking until she took that second breath. The playful fling of apples mixing into that that calm serene smell. "My name is Esmeralda," she finally managed to get out. She even pulled a small friendly smile upon her face as she looked at the other female. "It is nice meeting you." That was true. Everyone was very nice here. Except for maybe that male from before, not that he had done anything yet, but he just made her uncomfortable.

Aleksi Valdir
Beta of the Eryna pack

Aleksi blinked his eyes a bit when Finnley asked so innocently if the Pack was his teams name. He gave a nod, since that was just as good as an excuse. He reached forward when the other seem to trip ove the first step. "Careful!" But the human had already caught himself and they had reached the room without any further problems. And the young male was distracted the moment the door opened it seemed. Aleksi smiled as he was happy the other liked his choice of decor. Selena and Cynder had more than once tried to add some more color to the earthy dark tones he prefered. Yes, Cynder had been in his room. Not for the reason he would have wanted the male to stay though...

The lycan looked over to the human, who was apparently having an hard time not to squeal. His eyes twinkled in amusement over the enthusiasm of the human. It was cute. Very cute. And soon the questions came. He blinked his eyes a bit as the first one was answered by Finnley himself. How old was Pierogi? He had no idea. He should know. It was his best friend's pet after all. A few months? Oh, he really didn't know. "No? We can keep bears," he answered to the last question. It was a pretty normal thing in Eryna. Though probably not else where in the world. Headmistress Blackmore hadn't made too much of a problem out of it though.

"Don't worry about it. Pierogi is very adorable, aren't you, little man?" He asked the bear as he kept him a bit up in the air. He looked over towards Finnley and then held the cub out to him. "You wanna hold him? Don't worry, he is friendly." Or he hoped so. The baby animal had never harmed him or Bran at least. Other than destroyed his clothes and biting his ankles, during play. "If you have any questions about him, it is best to ask Bran. He loves talking about his bear," he grinned.

He glanced over to the mirror, wondering if he should change into something else. But if there was glug, he would most likely end up taking his shirt off two drinks in anyway. Because he was hot, not because he was drunk. He had a rather high tolerance for alcohol. "Glug is..." He tried to find the words to explain the drink, but nothing seemed to be fitting enough as he just shook his head. "You'll just have to come along and experience it," he decided. He led the way down to Brans room, making sure that Pierogi was either fine in Finnleys arms or following them.

The party seemed to have already started without them. Though it was still a dull party as he swung the door open. "I have arrived!" he announced as he grinned towards Bran. His eyes quickly went through the room. Wilma and the human with Selena, Aspen and Isaac. Now him and Finnley. Well, seemed like they were not that late after all. "I have to say my phone is working perfectly fine," he said to his best friend. As he was sure that was the reason the bear had been send upwards. It had happened more than once that he had missed a message, because of a broken phone. Everything was just so fragile in the hands of a lycan.

Haven Mitchelson

Things had ended quickly after Dexter was pelted by that flurry of snowballs, with the headmistress ordering all the students back inside. Haven's gaze was torn away from Bran and the unconscious Dexter by Cynder speaking up near her side. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm excited to see the dorms!", she said, looking back towards her roommate and continuing his attempt to keep the mood upbeat.
-
She let out a relieved breath as they reentered the foyer. Despite the layers of clothes she'd piled on, the freezing air outside had started to get to her. Luckily for Haven, though, the inside of Valendor was well heated. Now inside the foyer, they headed over to where Haven's luggage had been deposited earlier and began to lug the bags upstairs, neither of them with the ease that Aleksi had brought them into the foyer with. She was grateful, though, that Cynder was willing to carry the majority of the bags for her.
-
Haven could have sworn she was momentarily blinded in the first few seconds after entering her roommate's room. He wasn't joking about the sunglasses thing. Compared to what she'd seen of the rest of Valendor, It was bright. Dropping her bag near the foot of the sparsely decorated bed assigned to her, Haven followed Cynder's lead and flopped down on her bed. From her laying down position, she continued looking around the room. Even the plain side was really nice. In her opinion, Dolgas should take notes from whoever made the Valendor dorms when rebuilding their own. Just a few moments later, she was broken out of her grand dorm remodeling plans by Cynder's announcement that people were meeting up in Bran's room in about an hour. Haven sat up as her roommate headed over to his closet to change clothes, opting to just ditch her jacket and gloves instead of changing her full outfit. As Cynder mentioned the cat hair, she looked down at the floor to discover that there was actually cat hair, pretty much everywhere. What kind of cat had his last roommate found that managed to shed this much?

When Cynder finally finished changing clothes, Haven stood up from where she was sitting and announced, "Yeah that all sounds good to me. Don't worry about the cat hair, it's totally not a problem. That sucks that the cat isn't still here though, did it stay with your last roommate? Oh and also, I love your outfit, you've got a great sense of style. You know, I do photography, so if you'd ever like to model for a photoshoot or something I think you'd be great at it! (Haven was rather proud of herself, considering she'd managed to hold off this long on asking someone to model for photos. Since pretty much everyone she'd met today looked like they'd be great for it. Not considering, though, that she'd just thrown the question at her roommate out of nowhere with an aggressive amount of enthusiasm.)
You don't have to answer now...", she said, drifting off for a quick second to check the time on her phone, "Oh, we should head to Bran's, if you're ready to go."

Cynder nodded trying to keep up with the fun he was telling. "Yeah, they went home for the holidays and took mittens with them." He stared down pretendong the examen his nails. He had trouble looking in the eyes when he was dishonest but shot back to attention when Haven complimented his outfit. "Oh god thank you!" He looked over himself again and his eyes lit up once again when Haven mentioned him modeling for her. "Oh hell yeah!" He didnt wait for her to finish. "I'd love to that sounds so fun." Before he could get too wrapped up in the thought she steered them in the right direction. "Oh yeah! His room isnt too far away."

Cynder led them out of the room and down to room 003. Only when he saw Miss Blackmore standing at Brans door did his enthusiasm seem to turn tense. He knew the others werent fond of her and with the display earlier he didnt wish for anymore conflict to happen. But thats not on him to worry about. So he simply squeezed by the headmistress while saying a very brief, "evening Miss Blackmore." And popped into the large room a wide cheshire like grin spreading across his face. "Heeeeey!~" he erupted as he looked around to everyone, scranning for someone to mingle with for a bit.

Selena
Selena scowled at Aspen as he pushed his pay past her and Esmeralda and into Bran's room uninvited. Ugh, the manners on that guy!

Taking a deep breath to center herself, Selena smiled and led Esmeralda into Bran's dorm. Selena didn't have any direct siblings (she didn't count the human's her parents had turned over the years as siblings, even if they were referred to as "children"), but she would like to think if she had a brother he would be like Bran. The man was gentle and kind, and always made Selena feel warm and at ease. The faux forest decor that Bran used made Selena happy as well, as she could imagine herself out in the sunshine beneath the tree's without worrying about burning to death.

"Oh, thank you Bran! I think I will!" Selena geniunly smiled as she helped herself to the "vintage" Bran had offered her. Selena had it once before, and the taste was immaculate. After spending the past fifteen years only indulging in animal blood, the vintage tasted like eating real home-cooked food after over a decade of eating nothing but those horrid chips humans enjoyed called "Doritos". Although animal blood didn't taste as good as the human blood she had been fed as a young vampire, she couldn't bring herself to partake in human blood, even if given willingly. It felt wrong to her, to her parents dismay.

Grabbing the bottle from its resting place, Selena made her way back to Esmeralda, stopping next to Bran on the way and planting a friendly kiss on his cheek. Sitting back down next to Esmeralda, Selena poured the vintage into the glass she had procured and took a sip. Mmmm, it was sooo good!

"Hey Esmee, can I call you that? Bran used that nickname, may I?"
Selena said to her roommate. She took another sip and lowered her voice so that only Esmeralda could hear her (hopefully). "Be careful around that guy over there, Aspen." Selena tipped her glass in the fae's direction. "He's trouble. If playing with people's emotions was a sport, he would be the Olympic gold medalist." Unlike some of the other students at Valendore, Selena was already familiar with the fae male and his family before coming to the school. The king of the Autumn Court, Aspen's father, did business with her parents, and on occasion had come to the family mansion for formal dinners. Aspen himself was never in attendance, Selena learning later that the prince had been exiled from his home for 200 years. His twin sister, Birch, had attended the dinners though. And Selena could say without a doubt that Aspen was the more likeable of the two. Which was saying something.

Selena looked up from her glass, which was now empty, to see Wilma approaching both her and Esmee. "Oh, Wilma! Hello! How are you today?" Selena liked the Selkie, although they didn't speak often. Wilma was very shy and timid and Selena tried her best to respect that. As Wilma spoke to Esmee, Selena could see some real similarities between the two. Hopefully they would hit it off, and Esmeralda would start to feel more comfortable.

"Hey who invited Buddy the Elf?" Issac's jovial tone rang through the air and Selena found herself laughing hard at the jest towards Aspen. Too hard really. The vintage that Bran had given her suddenly came pouring out of her nose and splashed down the front of her dress. The sensation burned, and Selena found herself coughing down the remaining liquid. "Oh, darn it..." she said to herself as she glanced down at her stained garments.

Aspen

Bran's offer for the cognac was tempting, but Aspen decided not to pop open the bottle. It had some sentimental value to the male, and although Aspen knew he could be a bit of a jerk, he wasnt going to mess with Bran's stash. Especially considering who Bran's father was. Aspen had never met Bran's father, and he hoped to keep it that way. Best stay on the good side and stick to the glug.
"Why thank you, Bran." Aspen helped himself to the warmed wine and took a long sip. Although he wouldn't admit it out loud, he actually quite liked Bran's glug. The warmth and the spices reminded him of home. At least all the good parts of home. The feasts, the company, the eternal fall landscape, did he already mention the feasts?

Upon hearing Issacs jest about him being Buddy the Elf, Aspen poured a second stein of glug and brought it over to him. Pushing the drink into his hands a little forcefully as he said: "Ha, that was a good one. Still pulling insults from the children's section of the library I see. Well we all start somewhere."

There was a sputtering sound and Aspen looked over to where Wilma now stood among the vampire and her human companion. Said vampire now had a large blood-red stain going down the front of her costume. Aspen couldn't help but laugh as the girl looked pathetically down at herself. "Hah! Look's like vampires do get their periods after all!"

Aspen froze. Shit! He forgot there were human's here. To hopefully drown out what he said, Aspen chugged the rest of his glug and began looking around for something to distract Selena's roommate from what he had said. It was a damn shame he couldn't make human's forget things, at least not while in this realm. If he were back home all it would take was a bite of some food and she'd forget everything until the fae magic wore off.

Sitting on a desk nearby, Bran had left a leather-bound notebook open. Aspen strode over and grabbed it, quickly scanning through its content. It was sappy poetry. Not Aspen's thing, but it would shift the attention away from his stupid slip of the tongue.

"Oooo, Bran. You didn't tell us you were a poet!" Aspen held the notebook aloft so that Bran could see it clearly. Maybe rush him for it, start a fight and pump some life into the party. "Shall I read the room some of your work? Want to tell us who the lucky someone in these poems is?"

At that moment Tehuri entered the room. "Hello headmistress, care to join us for a poetry reading?"

Mori Eizan
The Thunder Kitsune
Mori let out a quiet huff of relief when he finally made it between the pillows, letting his tails swish over the edge of the bed behind him as he tucked his furry muzzle underneath the edge of Azuris’s massive comforter. Considering the merman had just told Mori he didn’t really use the bed all that much, the fox wondered why he had such an enormous one. Mori himself preferred sleeping in his fox form and as a fox he was small, so his personal bed hadn’t been any bigger than a large infant crib. Whatever his reasoning for having a massive bed he didn’t use, Mori wasn’t going to complain, especially not considering how comfortable it was. Even in his fox form, the mattress perfectly supported his body in all the right places. The sheets were soft and thin, the comforter fluffy and thick. The pillows were fluffed and soft, but still firm enough to provide support from what he could tell. There was definitely no denying it was a very nice bed.

Still burrowed in between the pillows, head resting on his furry white paws with his muzzle tucked beneath the duvet and his tails swishing over the edge of the bed, Mori listened to the sounds of the water moving as Azuris swam. Had he been in human form at that moment, his cheeks would have been as red as brick wall with embarrassment. He had squeaked! Squeaked! In his defense, he had just been greeted by the sight of a handsome merman’s bare buttocks. That was almost enough to make Mori’s furry orange cheeks burn as he thought of it. There was absolutely no denying the appreciation he had for the sight. He’d never doubted that the parts of Azuris he couldn’t see would be just as attractive as the parts that he could, but actually seeing one of those parts was an entirely different story. Though, seeing how completely unbothered Azuris was to strip in front of him, the fox wondered just how much he was going to be seeing during his time as the merman’s roommate.

“Mori?”

Startled by the sudden sound of Azuris voice, the fox popped his head up between the pillows like a gopher out of the top of their hole, looking around the room for the merman. When he found him pulled up with his arms resting on the edge of the platform where he’d jumped in a few minutes ago, he ducked back down just far enough so he could see Azuris without the merman being able to see him. He took a moment, shamelessly admiring the merman’s bare torso, fascinated by the gills along his throat. He wished he could see his tail and made a note to get a good look at it when he was sure his blush was gone, and he could shift back without the other boy noticing it. When Azuris ducked back down and moved to swim around the platform, Mori let out a soft little snorting sound—his version of laughter in his fox form. He suddenly felt like playing hide and seek and curled his tail up between the pillows as much as he could, his playful nature kicking in at the thought of the merman trying to find him.

“Ah, there you are.”

Mori let out another soft snort when he heard Azuris behind him, swishing his tails around involuntarily with delight. He didn’t get as many chances as he would have liked to play games at Valendor. Not many people liked that side of Mori all that much, and those who did didn’t really enjoy the same games that the fox did. Snowball fights, for instance, were not the kind of thing Mori found entertaining, especially when they involved Alexei. Hide and seek, however, was the fox’s favorite game. Bran was one of Mori’s favorite people there, if only because he let Mori spend entire days running around Valendor’s halls in his fox form with his adorable little bear cub, Pierogi. The little bear was Mori’s closest friend at this school.

When he heard Azuris splash back into the water, he popped up from between the pillows, jumping down off the edge of the bed and looking into the water to catch a glimpse of Azuris’s tale. He sat down on the edge of the platform, his tails swishing around him as he watched the merman swim. His azure tail was absolutely beautiful, and there was something kind of enchanting to Mori about watching him glide through the water. He seemed so much more peaceful for here, and it was very clear the water was where Azuris preferred to be, much like Mori preferred to be frolicking through the woods on four legs than walking Valendor’s halls on two.

Mori watched him for a few more minutes before standing up and walking over to his clothes. Trying not to think about Azuris seeing him so that he didn’t blush again, Mori shifted forms and hurried back into his clothes before picking up his phone. Seeing the message about Bran’s glug party again, Mori looked back at Azuris as he swam around the pool. If he was going to be Azuris’s roommate for the whole break, he wanted to get to know the boy a bit better. The constant silence would drive him crazy. Hopefully, taking him to Bran’s glug party may get him a chance to learn a few new things. Making his decision, Mori walked to the edge of the platform and waved to get the merman’s attention. When Azuris popped his head above the water and looked at him, Mori smiled and waved his phone.

“Bran’s invited everyone to a glug party in his dorm room. I think you should come,” he said. Not sure what else to say, he turned and headed for the door, pushing it open when he reached it and stepping over the threshold. Before he shut it behind him, however, he poked his head back in, eyes flashing orange as his playful fox nature flashed through him. “See you there?” he asked with a smirk, and then he shut the door and sauntered down the hall to Bran’s room. When he reached, the door was open, but he still stopped in the threshold, looking around at everyone in the room. It wasn’t until his eyes came across the little bear that they lit up, flashing orange for a split second before settling back to dark brown. Smiling at everyone, Mori stepped slowly into the room.

Azuris
Young Prince of Nilmehona

It took him a few rounds to notice the small figure standing at the edge of the pool and even then he only turned onto his back so he could watch the other while still underwater. Two more rounds, and the figure had changed to a much bigger one. Apparently Mori had changed back to his human self and now stood waving. Azuris let out a deep sigh, before he went up to the surface to see, or more hear, whatever the other wanted from him. If he wanted anyting from him. He certainly hoped not. "Yes?" His voice back to the default tone of mild annoyance and boredom as he looked over to the other.

The merman looked a bit surprised at the words of the other. A glug party? At Brans? So far he had only heard some wild stories about the warm drink, and truly parties were not his kinda thing. Too many people, interaction and too little water and swimming. But for Bran... Fine, for Bran he might make an exception. And Aspen. If everyone was invited, the fae male could not stay away far. And with that his mind was made up, while the other was already at the door and departing. "Sure," he answered as the door had already fallen close. He pulled himself up on the edge where the other had been standing just a few moments before. He wiggled his lower body a bit to make that tail split and turn to human legs. His lower body still covered with those azure scales as he pulled himself out of the salt water.

Azuris looked over to the previously worn clothes, before he decided against them. He disappeared into the closet briefly and came out fully dressed a few moments later. Jeans with a simple light grey Tshirt and over that a thick dark grey cardigan, so he could still hide away, but would be able to dress down when the alcohol got him warm. Alcohol... He would just have to stick to one glass and not let himself be talked into that second glass. Last time he had more than two, well, the wild stories were getting more crazy of what had happened that time. But there may have been some dancing involved. He did not wish to repeat such things. He went over to his drawers and quickly got out a little wood box that he put into his pocket, before he left the room.

"Miss Blackmore," he greeted as the headmistress stood at the door, waiting for her invitation. It was probably good he was not bound by such stupid rules or he would truly never go anywhere. One step into to Brans room he had already regretted the whole idea deeply and he could feel his energy drain with just the thought of all the interaction he would have to do. Most faces were familiar, though he was still not able to put names to all of them. And then there was that voice. He had not been wrong. Aspen was here, indeed. He spun around towards the actual source, finding the fea taunting the big guy while holding onto a notebook, filled with poetry that was written by Bran. The breach of privacy was enough to let a deep shudder run down his spine. "Aspen," he spoke calm and collected. His voice was soft even, but he was more than sure the other would hear him just fine. "Perhaps you should learn how to think your actions through, before embarassing yourself once again." He offered the guy the sweetest smile he could muster. "Just some small words of advice," he added and with that he turned himself to the big guy himself.

"Mori told me about the invitation, so I hope it is okay that I tagged along?" the merman asked. He took the little wooden box from his pocket and handed it towards the host of the party. "I am not too familiar with the rules of hospitality, but here is a token of my gratitude," he said. He even managed to hold a more genuine smile to the male. It would still be up to Bran whether or not he would allow his stay. The little box was filled with some pretty sea shells, pearls and rocks that he had found on his swims, which may hold no value at all for the other, but perhaps they could be used as decoraction for the tinkering he did. Or something. Mermans often used them to make necklaces, bracelets or other kind of jewelry.

Bran didn’t seem to acknowledge Isaac, hopefully that wasn’t a bad sign. Aspen on the other hand definitely did. Isaac smirked deviously as the Fae shoved a glass of Bran’s glug into his hand and mentioned something about a children’s library.

“You know it son,” Isaac winked before taking a sip of the glug. It didn’t taste too bad, the mix of ingredients was definitely interesting but it definitely didn’t beat a pint of lager. Isaac took another sip and almost spit it out with Aspens next comment about Selena. This really was going to be interesting. Isaac found himself a seat by the fire and plopped down, laying sideways in the seat, his feet hanging over the edge of the armrest, taking the sword off his back before he did so. Now he took a swig of the glug, waiting to see the fallout but little did he know, it was about to get much worse as Aspen picked up a book from Bran’s desk and announced to the room that Bran was making poetry and was going to read it to everyone. Isaac eyes widened, he was about to see Legolas get eaten by the dragon from Shrek.

Disappointment ensued however as another guest arrived. Blackmore. Isaac rolled his eyes and took another swig of his drink, leaning back in his seat. Some more people arrived, squeezing by Blackmore, it was Cynderic and Haven in tow then followed by Mori and Azuris who he didn’t really know all too well. It seemed everyone was here by now, with the way things were going at the minute - it wouldn’t be long until something happened whether it be a fight or someone accidentally let slip that there were supernatural creatures in the room was yet to be determined.

Bran noticed Esmee reading the book, but somehow, he didn't mind. Bran's breath hitched slightly as she reached for the page. Odd. He wasn't used to feelings things like that. Not anymore. Not since his father had made it abundantly clear no one would ever want him that way. Bran pushed the feeling aside as his best friend in the world strode in. Bran rushed over to greet him, pulling him into a warm and somewhat uncharacteristic hug. After the snowball incident, Bran had been worried his friend might withdraw, so to see him walk in with his usual confidence and good cheer warmed Bran's heart more than any glug could. Pulling back, Bran gave Aleksi and warm smile, his eyes twinkling with humor over his friend's comment.
"Yes, but I didn't want you to miss out on another opportunity to take your shirt off, Adu Frisshen." ((Old Friend)) Bran's smile slipped slightly as he noticed the lithe form of Tehuri, but he greeted her as well.
"Mistress Blackmoore. Please be welcome, and act as befits a proper guest." He bowed slightly to her, before motioning her inside with a formal, sweeping gesture.
Seeing Cynder, Bran shot Aleksi a mischievous smile.
"Aleksi, Cynder is here! Why don't you two keep each other company?" Hearing the spluttering coming from the direction of his chair, Bran turned to see Selena in a sorry state. Moving quickly, Bran soaked a towel in a gentle cleaning solution and some water, offering it to Selena.
"Selena, your poor dress!" Bran stated with sadness. He knew how important Selena's clothes were to her, and what a tragedy an accident like that was. He had just handed her the cloth when Aspen picked up his poetry journal. Bran froze for a moment, scaly patterns appearing over his skin as he fought back the draconic influence. Breathing deeply, Bran stood and moved towards the Fae slowly. In his youth, he would have reacted with anger, or even violence. But time and wisdom had tempered the young man, and he was certainly not going to break his oath over someone like Aspen. Someone who wanted to make him upset simply for their own amusement. No, Bran knew how to deal with this.
"Aspen, please hand that book to me, unless you want to be a bad guest?" The question hung in the air. It was a very serious remark among the supernatural students of Valendor. Wars had been fought over people being bad guests, after all. Hearing Mori come in, Bran turned to him with a suprised smile.
"Hello, Mori. I didn't expect to see you here tonight." Bran's surprised smile turned broader as the figure of Azuris appeared. Azuris, who not only showed up, but had brought a gift!
"Of course, Azuris! You are more than welcome here, My Friend." Bran took the box and opened it. His eyes brightened as he saw the objects in the box. He could certainly use these objects in his work.
"Thank you, Azuris. This is a princely gift. I shall honor it, and the spirit in which it was given." Bran moved some things, placing the box in a place of honor on the mantle above the fire. Noticing Isaac lounging in one of the chairs, Bran gave him a smile.
"I think I know what you would prefer," he said with a small wink. Opening the small fridge he kept by his desk, Bran pulled out a bottle of Lady Luck Imperial Red Ale and set it on the small table next to where Isaac was sprawled.
"Try that. It's a personal favorite of mine. Plenty more in the fridge if you get thirsty."

Had Finn been a cartoon character, their eyes would've had stars in them as they reached out to hold Pierogi in his arms. "He's so soft," they said in a squeaking whisper, gently cuddling closer. They scarcely heard Aleksi's explanation of Glug (or rather lack thereof). When he lead them to Bran's room, they followed absentmindedly, scratching behind Perogi's ears the entire time.

"Hi!" He called, trailing behind his roommate as they arrived at the party. "I brought your bear!" He chirped, "Also I'm Finn!" Had he already introduced himself at the snowball fight? He couldn't remember. Either way, there were important questions to be asked, and Finn wasted no time in blurting them. "Pierogi's really cute! How old is he? Is-" Before they had a chance to continue, they caught sight of a woman who was absolutely soaked in wine. Events barreled onward with no warning, and soon enough someone was yelling about poetry, the headmaster was here, and Bran just seemed to be making an attempt to calm things down.

Finn winced at the noise. He found himself sidling toward the corner, still holding Pierogi.
"Man, they've got real... energetic parties here, huh?" He mumbled, realizing halfway through his sentence how ridiculous it was that he was talking to a bear and chuckling awkwardly to himself. The bear in question's only response was to stare at him for a long moment and lick him on the nose, prompting another giggle from Finn. "Thanks, little dude."

Wilhelmina Day

Wilma took a small step back when the other female abruptly turned around. "Oh my, I hope I didn't startle you." She hummed a second as she processed the name she was told, nodding. "Esmeralde, that's very nice." As more people arrived Wilma was reminded yet again how much she disliked large crowds. Her shoulders stiffened. "Probably a bit overwhelming meeting so many people in one day, huh?" She noticed the tremor in Esmeralde's voice and decided maybe she was anxious as well. That was something Wilma could absolutely understand.

Despite her growing unease, she addressed Selena finally. "I'm doing fine." It was a short answer sure, but Wilma didn't know Selena well enough to spill all her underlying stress out to her. Especially not with so many others around. So light pleasantries would have to do for now. "About as fine as you can be on a cold afternoon." She shrugged, her black eyes wandering around the room as she tried to think of something else to say. "Oh, how about y-" She didn't finish her sentence before the vampiress sprayed wine down the front of her dress. Wilma's hands shooting up to cover her mouth in surprise. "Your dress!" She exclaimed rather obviously. Stepping out of the way when Bran handed her the towel. "You'd better get to that before the stain sets in." That was all the help Wilma would be. She was unsure of what to do and definitely didn't know clothes as well as Selena.

The friendly cook

Esmeralda smiled softly as she looked at the other lady. She had a nice gentle voice. She tried to concentrate on that, instead of the people that just seemed to keep on arriving. She had not assumed so many people would come. But then again, Selena had said that Bran had invited everyone. "Ah, yes," she said when Wilma seemed to understand the distress it caused. With more than just sympathic words, as the other female seemed to keep herself distanced as well. "I didn't expect this many people would come," she admitted honestly. She would have to stay put through. It would be rude to leave now, while people were still arriving. Luckily the room was very big, or it would all have been even more awkward and unpleasant.

Esmee looked at her roommate when she pointed out how Bran had used the shorter version of her name."Yes, of course," she said with a smile, which she hoped was convincing enough. It was not that she minded people calling her Esmee, but it was just the whole atmosphere. Definitely when Selena decided to warn her for Aspen, who had already made her very on edge without the warning. "I'll... I will keep that in mind," she said. It was nice that Selena was taking care of her. It helped with feeling a bit more comfortable, knowing that at least one person was looking out for her and seemed to genuinely care for her. It was Isaac that pulled all attention to him, at least for a second, since the moment after his call out through the room, everything seemed to happen at once.

"Selena!" Esmee called out, and without thinking reached to stroke her back firmly to help her cough up anything that had went down wrong. Sure, the dress was splattered with the deep red liquid, but clothes could be washed. However despite the distraction, she didn't miss the comment that the 'elf' had made. Something about vampires? They truly had the weirdest nicknames here. Her blue eyes quickly scanned through the room to see if she could find something to help the female clean up, but a cloth was already held out to them. "Thank you," she said as she took the soaked towel from him with a genuine, slightly brighter, smile. Her fingers connecting with something warm, and definitely not fabric, which caused her heart to make a little jump and run off in circles. "Do you... have some salt?" she asked, trying very hard to keep down that feverish feeling of blushing. She was pretty sure her voice was drowned out by all the sounds around them anyway so she turned to hand Selena the towel. Besides using salt while Selena was still wearing the dress might not be the easiest.

Yet instead her attention was caught again by that leatherbound journal when it was picked up so rudely and not only that... its content was threatened to make public. This guy truly had no ounce of consideration and respect within him. "Hey! Put that down!" She called out. At least in her head. For in reality not a sound came over her lips. Luckily she was not the only one to have a problem with the guys behaviour. Other than the poet himself, who instead calmly asked for the book back. And with that the stage, the slimey douchebag wanted seemed to be broken down before he truly had found the spotlight as the attention was redirected to the distant guy that had been able to open up his mouth. "I really hope we can get this stain out," she said softly when she had finally turned back to Selena, "but I am sure with our combined knowledge of food stains and fabrics, that we can make it work." She smiled up towards her roommate. She really didn't mind the possible escape it offered. Someone would have to try and get those clothes clean again...
