Chimney Swift Chimney Swift

Woah, now. Takin' it a bit too far, ain't ya? Ain't nothing as tasty as some B B Q splat on a sweet sizzlin' cheeseburger fresh off the grill, served up with some seasoned cheesy fries and topped off with a nice serving of momma's homemade ketchup.

I love Fall Out Boy!! Patrick has such an amazing voice that's really uncommon in the genre. It's just... pure power and finesse. Also, I feel like he's improved over time, especially in regards to enunciation.

Fall Out Boy helped me overcome my speech impediment (I sounded like a stereotypical autistic kid before). It also helped one of my friends get over his lisp. It's awesome :)

Haha, I am quite literally a stereotypical autistic kid and Fall Out Boy taught me to sing a little better than I could before. And helped me understand metaphors,

It helped me understand quite a few metaphors. Do you have a favorite song? I found the nightcore of Twin Skeletons made a great vocal exercise.

I love Jet Pack Blues, Golden, and Immortals! Immortals is the only one of their songs my crappy alto range can reasonably sing. :grinningteeth:
You're an alto? That's awesome! It's so rare to find altos among girls or guys. Like the only good alto singer I've heard in person is my cousin. I'm a soprano myself. My male friend sounded just a little higher than Kellin Quinn, so very beautiful.

I started out training classically, and did mostly soprano parts. But for more contemporary pieces, I've found my natural semi-operatic shrill vibrato doesn't fit well, so I got used to taking lower and lower parts. I've gotten some compliments on my diversity.

My soprano side shows itself most when I laugh hysterically. I'm learning to go lower in some songs (like Going Under by Evanescence). My short term goal is to sing As The Pages Burn by Arch Enemy. It's a bit of a challenge. I am also working on speed so that I can sing Carol of the Bells faster than everyone else this Christmas. Any recommendations of nice, fast songs to practice with would be very nice.

Come to think of it, my ability to sing soprano will come in handy this Halloween. I'm going to sing "The Transparent" and possibly some more songs.

Unpopular opinion of the moment: The Disaster Artist is probably going to be the best movie of 2017. I mean, Zefron, Peeta from The Hunger Games and the Franco brothers are gonna tell us the story of the strangest piece of film of the 21st century. Sounds awesome.

Also, hand sanitizer is liquefied Satan. Everything about it is disgusting. Just wash your hands with water and soap, for fuck's sake.

And clementines are better than regular oranges.

Seeing that I don't care about politics you might ask me, "If you don't care about today's politics? What do you think is wrong with humanity?"
Well, I will explain.
UNPOPULAR OPINION 1: Humanity is going through an era they might never recover from.
I mean, there are obvious signs but after what happened to ROBLOX, I have came to the conclusion that we depend of greed to survive. If we drain everything we need because of how greedy we get, we will descend into an era where we have to fight for the last remaining resources left. This will be the end of human communication and respect. I predict it will happen in 200-300 years from modern patterns.
UNPOPULAR OPINION 2: 2016 was NOT humanity's worst year and is far from how far south humanity can go.
Yeah, there was a new movement rising and most issues became ignored but think about it, was it as bad as the World War years? Would you pick millions dying in a shitstorm of a war or a new movement in the political sphere of the world. But you might say "but society and culture and stuff!" This is false to me.

So, how do we fix our issues?

UNPOPULAR OPINION 3: Communism is only looked down at due to the mistakes of one leader and it could've succeeded if things went right.
I know, Stalin did some weird shit like mass genocide, gulags and stuff, but imagine communism without Stalin. It would've been more successful under the right hands. I am not saying it would win the Cold War, I am just saying the USSR could've lived much longer. I am not saying "We need Communism". I am saying that Communism if it went right would've been picked up by someone else and improved. I think that Socialism would save the West and Capitalism at it's current state relies on only a few people for it to succeed and less of the general population.

Another way is changing to a Socialist environment which would keep the same system as Capitalism which is the system that has been working for us in this timeline.

POLITICAL OPINIONS END.

UNPOPULAR OPINION 4: Crash Bandicoot's Woah was never funny and was doomed to die.

I think enough time has past since a particularly craven individual won't debate me further because their delicate sensibilities were damaged allow me to make my point and we move on from here.

Anarchist Extremists: Antifa

It's a step in the right direction and we can finally start putting these punks in their place, preferably in the dirt.

I think this relies on the idea that Stalin somehow did communism wrong. Stalin is actually one of the best communists in history, second only to perhaps Mao.

Marx wrote in the Communist Manifesto that the revolution would inevitably be violent. That the competing classes of owner and laborer could never come to a peaceful solution. To Marxists, everything is down to a calculus of power. That is why they murdered thousands of Orthodox bishops, the entire Russian royal family, and countless merchants, well-off peasants, and other elements of the middle class. Partly to steal their material, and partly because they believed these groups had been so warped by their economic privilege that they did not have the faculties needed to perceive the glory of the Revolution.

In communist totalities, the State replaces God as the overarching logos to which people devote their lives. It attempts to sunder ties of family and religion to further consolidate the individual's dependence on the State. This was part of the reason for the Ukrainian famine, to keep the Ukrainian people from thinking of themselves as independent and self-contained without the need of state direction and guidance.

So as to this point, I do not understand what you mean when you say Stalin was a bad communist. In my mind, Stalin perfectly embodies the Communist ideal, as do the gulags. It is moral and just to communists that those who speak out against the paradise they are building on Earth be murdered, for if they are allowed to exist how can the paradise be realized?

My thing with communism is that in reality, it looks nothing like the idealized eutopia invisioned and can only be maintained through tyranny. Communism is flawed in its very structure, although in theory it would be nice if it worked.
