First of all we have the plot.

the worlds first necromancer stumbles upon his art of bringing the dead back to life. However he manages to bring back his first corpse with a free will and a mind of its own. It is however a very dead, very rotting piece of carcass walking and talking much to the necromancers despair as he tries to repeat his dark magic on other nonliving things with varying success. The duo goes in search of a place to hide from the magical authorities where they can find the time to figure out how to raise more corpses and how this new form of magic works. well, that's mostly the necromancers wishes. the corpse, having been dead for a few decades might have other plans and years of dormancy might have left his brain a little askew. depending on what the corpse did in his previous life might explain why he keeps going to libraries or why he keeps insisting on getting paid or the need to see musicals when he sees a poster of a circus.

the time period would be medieval, magic would be abundant but not everyone could use it, a gift/curse you are born with depending on perspective. Both roles are open, i'm flexible and fill the one that is left. the story can be fitted in to something similar like a summoner and a spirit/demon/ghost/something else. If you feel that you want to shape the necromancer/corpse along some different characteristics that's fine. more details can be discussed in PM's
