  Personality:
  Lyra is first a foremost a warrior. Fighting most of her life for survival, she carries weight on her shoulders. She is outspoken and can sometimes come across as aggressive or rude. She will get done what needs to be without any question, especially if its to protect the Birds. She is a no funny business woman, so whenever she is around, people are normally doing what they are suppose to be. She doesn't just give her trust to anyone...except for Duncan. Lyra is also a mother hen. Even though she doesn't like to admit it, she cares fiercely for the Birds and everyone involved, someone messes with them..you better watch your back. She can be stubborn a lot of the time and it takes a lot for her to change her mind. She is loyal and kind, but watch out for the sarcastic wit and sass that she gives you. You will find yourself questioning whether or not she is serious, and she will definitely leave you wondering. She carries a wisdom that seems far beyond her years, which is thanks to her being a vampire, and she is often sharing that wisdom.

Distinguishing Features:
He has a clear ethnic mix, labelling him as somewhat of an outcast among pure-blooded humans. Rumour has it that, to a vampire, mixed blood tastes better. Like a cocktail, except I'm not sure those have been invented yet.

Personality:
Dry wit and a strong personality, he cares about the Uncaged Birds movement more than his own life. He looks to Duncan as an older-brother figure and a role model, especially since losing his only family members to the call of blood-slavery. Though ambitious and driven, his drive can be his downfall as he is easily susceptible to rage and short temper. While he is against killing, if he can help it, his short-sightedness can sometimes cause him to hurt beyond what is necessary.
Additionally, he considers himself a devout Christian, partially in defiance of the vampiric oppressors.
