Expect the unexpected, it expects you
Have an idea, it is complicated for the most part but working out the details. It was a video game idea, but that is something I am not good about. So I thought maybe roleplaying it will clear some things up. Here is a briefing of it. There is a lot of info, in the end:
In the beginning, the world was one. The monsters came from the same rock that all creatures did. The animals were eaten and the people had the skill to control the powers they were given. The monsters came, the people fought and this was the life of all, for centuries. Until the world was given peace. The monsters meet their end and the war was over. It is had been 50 years since the last blade was used against a monster and the little creatures that still exist are far and between when it comes to threats. At least in this world.
World One
Peaceful. Monsters that were not in the big solution still room, few and far between. The people have control of their powers and have time to learn to use them. The monsters are low-level and weak, so they band in groups, but nothing that can’t be handled by a few. The world is simple, police deal with the people and law, military deals with monsters, people work in jobs that help each other and have homes to go to when they are done with work. The Wone are very few, there is very little left, but the Wone created weapons are still in existence, and making more is not needed. So, Wone is more collection of a reminder of their victory.
World Two
Wone is called Woney and everywhere, but there are also monsters everywhere. The monsters are attracted to the Woney as much as the people need them. It Is hard to see them, but some warriors are born with the ability to find them, like a third sight. They are normally warriors that travel around with an army to protect them and return with Woney, so that the Woney can be made into weapons. The people can not control their power, so without catalysts (weapons), their powers can run wild. The weapons control the power direction and allow the power to be enhanced. The people fight every day for nearly every moment to survive. They are unaware they are no longer in their world or what their higher-ups have done. But they believe that they are all of what is left of their people and fight to survive.
The Scroll
The scroll is what was created, written down the solution and how to make it. It is designed to link with the other universe when the people finally learned away to pull back their people instead of letting them stay in that world. But most that were working on it, found themselves working on other things and forgot about saving their people in the end, but it still links to the other world.
Outline Story
Granddaughter of the general finds a Wone and asked her grandfather about it. She explains that she had seen them many times and that she was curious about what they are. Grandfather dismisses it and demands granddaughter never brings another back. Granddaughter is curious as to why her grandfather is ashamed of the war that he found in and won.
She goes to the war museum and looks around, since her grandfather forbids her to go, she goes alone. She learns how bad it was and thinks that it might be why. But before leaving the museum is attached by monsters. Everyone is afraid and expects the military to come to save them. The granddaughter hides and watches as the monsters seem to be looking for something. She tries to move quietly with her power and is found just as she reaches the exit. She finds herself forced to fight and uses her power to strike that the heart of the monster killing it. As she does, she gets swarmed by more monsters and the exit is blocked. She tries to run away and finds herself in a secret room, where she finds the scroll. The monsters come in and she tries to run, but they attack and she has to defend herself. She kills a few, but gets pushed back and ends up hiding the scroll. When she touches it, she is transported to the other world. The scroll with her and she is alone.
Shortly after arriving monsters attack and she meets the people that were forced there. Including a guy that can see the Woney too and he explains his power goes further than most, when he is around others, he can share that power with them.
