1. GMs must be extremely dedicated and lead by example. You must be passionate about your project!

2. Don't overwhelm them with lore and world building, give them the basics and work from there.

3. Have a discord OOC! Forums are very slow in comparison, even though this website is awesome.

4. Make sure to follow RPN rules. The mods have undercover spies within the userbase, so you must be vigilant.

5. Mandatory hangouts! Help build relationships and turn your party into a family!

6. Assert your dominance. You are the king of these people. You must remember that at all times. If someone steps out of line and flaunts your authority, make an example out of them! There are many fun tools for this kind of thing, you can be extremely creative.

7. Blood oaths. RPs die because people lose passion, so why not use blood oaths? It maintains activity with the classic threat of damnation.

8. Sweatshops! If you capture your members with nets of some kind (fishing nets work quite well) You can build RP sweatshops so they write year round. Try that with blood oaths for maximum effectiveness.

10. Always be respectful and kind to your members, nobody likes a mean GM. You need to welcome these people with open arms! It's sad when a GM ruins their project with a bad attitude, nasty comments and unfair leadership. You should always strive to be polite and fair.

I disagree with this. Personally I think players should be able to bully GMs 💪
 
11. Whenever you make a post, all players must praise and applaud it. The first one to stop is a weak link and must be kicked out of the RP.
12. Reports on the player's personal and financial details must be submitted by Friday each for review and ensuring nobody is lying about being 'busy'.
13. Alt accounts should be created that intentionally try to badmouth the GM. Any who end up privately agreeing are enemy spies sent by GMs of other RPs.
14. Always remember, if things don't work out, don't stress. It's their fault. They ruined it.

15. If your players have 'free time' in between posts, force them to sit down and read a printout of the lore for your world
16. If your players are taking too long, write their posts for them! They will be really happy you decided to take the responsibility of continuing the rp so they can continue living their 'life.'
17. Hunt down your player's socials so you know what they're doing at all times that way they don't have excuses for missing posts like being 'busy'
