Hokori
(The Quinque Eater)

30d4d85b5713db5b367c488ee8137fb6--dark-anime-guys-hot-anime.jpg

AAAAaaaaaagghhhhh-!

Hokori was double up over a pile of garbage bags in an alleyway somewhere, hand on his side as waves of agony washed over him. He pulled his hand away and a fresh spurt of blood followed it, prompting him to splutter up some more blood and reapply pressure on the wound quickly. That quinque had saved his life when he’d consumed it, but it hadn’t healed him completely. This was to be expected, given that he had almost been torn in half by those bastard doves. Hokori’s regenerative abilities were impressive, but it was not godlike. He needed sustenance still...

Back at the CCG HQ rumours from the official report of the infamous ‘Quinque Eater’ had already spread, reaching even the recesses of some online chat sites advice people discussed the ghoul and his incredible appearance. To think there were ghouls that powerful roaming the streets struck fear into those unsteeled to the hardships of facing such monsters. However, the report on Hokori was especially worrying as it set a precedent that those at the CCG has not experienced previously before. But at the same time, it provided invaluable information on the ghoul arsenal and how they were evolving. A ghoul capable of liquifying his kagune was dangerous enough, but being able to detach it to create rudimentary traps? This was an advanced level of predation that modern human capability had yet to catch up with. For now, agents would have to rely on their own skill and prowess to deal with these new dangers. As a result, Hokori’s rating had been understandably elevated to ‘SS’ simply for the deadly possibilities available to him and as a result of his actions the other day. He had murdered an agent, injured another and consumed his quinque. It was this last detail in the report that had earned him his new name ‘Quinque Eater’. He wouldn’t have heard about it yet, but one had to admit that the name was suitable.

“Bastard... doves. Bastard... faker. I’ll eat them, I’ll eat them...”

He wasn’t beaten yet, however. He stepped out from his corner of the alley and slowly made his way down the alley. The smell of blood was thick in the air, which meant that someone was feasting nearby. What ward was he in again? He couldn’t remember, but he was too hungry to care at this point. As Hokori rounded the corner, he saw ghouls eating a corpse. As one stood up to leave, Hokori’s vision to tunnelled onto his next meal. The remaining ghoul, sensing the malicious intent and the smell of more blood, rose from his crouched position and sprinted at the other injured ghoul, a ukaku kagune bursting out and enhancing his speed to near-unfollowable levels.

Of course, this didn’t faze Hokori in the slightest. Deadpan eyes coolly gazed at the oncoming projectiles ghoul with an irrepressible hunger, one that commanded absolute authority, demanded indefinite precedence. His hand shot out in an instant, gripping an ensnared neck and squeezing mercilessly. The ghoul struggled in Hokori’s grasp, multiple ukaku shards flying off in several directions. Unfazed. A split second later, Hokori lunges forward and sank his teeth into the exposed neck, followup bites savaging the body relentlessly. He consumed the ghoul as he held it up, taking very little time to eat the meatiest and more nutritious parts. He threw the mangled corpse down. More.

It was the loud electrical sounds that drew his attention, causing his caustic glare to swing over to the two figures further down the alley.

Sniff sniff.

The bloodstained, injured ghoul decisively stepped forward, commanding a gravity that overpowered those in the alley. The pure force of his will, the absoluteness his insatiable hunger manifesting in a powerful deadly intent that was unmistakeable to the remaining ghoul and investigator. News of Hokori’s rank change likely had spread as far as common knowledge, but it was possible these two weren’t aware of what he was capable of. Not that he was currently concerning himself with that. A single, thick rinkaku tentacle violently protruded from Hokori’s back, causing him to stagger for a moment before recovering and continuing his slow and steady stalk forwards. He had but one single thought burning deep in his hunger-crazed mind:

CONSUME

Elric froze for a moment before he suddenly dropped his radio "um... well.....uh" he said as he tried to maintain his composure, he then abruptly smiled before going back to his stern expression "um...uh those are some uh pretty tentacles you got there" he said as he reached for his Pistol and pulled it out of its holster, he then aimed at Bakko and kept his sights on her "Looks like I'm going to have to take this seriously"he said as he chuckled to himself "right there are two ways you can do this, one I could kill you, or two I could arrest you and well......ok thats not really a fun option Isn't it" he said as he lowered his pistol and pondered about what he just said "one two-one two gaaah!" he said a little bit frustrated "you know what, Im feeling generous today... Il let you run, But If I encounter you again......your dead" Elric said feeling a bit cocky, and while cocking his pistol "I think I'm being a nice person" a wide grin began to form on his face as he said those words, he then aimed his sights at her and fired a shot at her, while Intentionally missing," Il just say that I shot you and you died from blood loss, sound good?" he then slid his pistol back in its holster, and patted the holstered weapon " also...thanks for the autograph, I'm sure johnny is gonna love this" then picked up his radio, and held it up to his mouth and said "hey I encountered a couple ghouls, but uh I trashed them" he said winking at Bakko, he then cliped the radio back onto his belt "adios amigos" Elric waved at Bakko and slowly turned around, and began to walk in the opposite direction "lets just hope she listened to me" he said to himself. Bakko took a step back when Elric pointed his pistol at her, ready to rip him in half if she had to...only to have him miss. Intentionally. She hummed. "<Well aren't you a dear~"> She santered up to him and patted his shoulder before passing him a two cards. "<Give on of these to your friend. A token of my thanks boyo.>" She made no attempt to disperse her Rinkaku, only letting her two Bikaku form and drag on the ground behind her. "<tickets to an idol concert I'll be at Darlin'. Good seats too.>" With that, she pulled herself up a building with her rinkaku, like an octopus pulling itself on a rock, and made her way toward the roof.

But getting up there, she noticed something. Or Someone.

A mad dog with a look of maddened hunger. A ghoul she thought had died from the fight she witnessed last night or at the very least.

She knew very well that a greenhorn was no match for a monster like Hokori. But a distraction might be enough to at least give him a head start.

Once she was on the roof of the building, she let out a loud whistle as if she was calling a pack of hounds and waved her Kagune. "You wanna meal, big boy!?" One of her bikaku coiled around a nearby powerline and made the whole of her kagune glow a bright green and blue. "Come get some!" With that, she threw on the hood of her hoodie and booked it towards the amusement park before ducking between buildings. In her mind, if he was in a painful hunger, he would keep going right into Pigeon hands.

Hokori
(The Quinque Eater)
30d4d85b5713db5b367c488ee8137fb6--dark-anime-guys-hot-anime.jpg

As the investigator casually walked off, apparently blissfully unaware of Hokori's presence, the ghoul shot up onto a nearby roof and begun conducting electricity from a nearby powerline. It seemed as though the investigator was so inexperienced in the field that he had failed to notice what could potentially be the end of his very life standing a mere several feet away. Luckily for him, there was a suitable distraction available to save his life. Glancing up sharply at the feminin taunts, Hokori snarled savagely at her. If it was a chase she wanted, it would be a chase she got.

With a powerful flick of his rinkaku, Hokori was jettisoned upwards rapidly. He shot past the roof like a bullet before landing on the tiles heavily, causing a small crater where he landed. Barely able to contain himself any longer, he stabbed an unsteadily shaking finger at Bakko's retreating form, "I... will eat you. I will eat you, I will eat you- I WILL EAT YOU!" His guttural growls soon became animalistic howls as a second rinkaku tore itself from his back, thinner and more average-sized than the previous, however it lashed out erratically at its surroundings, cracking roof tiles around Hokori haphazardly.

With another wrathful roar, Hokori launched himself after Bakko more like a cannon this time. Diving horizontally from the rooftop edge, he shot in her direction with a resound boom, destroying part of the roofing he had been stood upon, and hurtling in her direction. As he drew near, his thinner rinkaku lashed around a nearby building pillar and slingshotted him forward again so that he could effectively catch up. In a split second, he was upon her. Twinges of hunger hooked into Hokori like fishhooks in his skin tingling and itching all over at the thought of a meal, the pang of dull pain in his stomach serving as a constant reminder of his desire. The thicker rinkaku bore down and attempted crush the fleeing figure, falling just short as she rolled slightly forward before the point of impact.

Growling in annoyance, Hokori landed and shot forward again in an impressive feat of strength and speed, catching up again and spinning mid air to land a powerful roundhouse kick that would potentially break every bone in the ghoul's body. Before the blow could connect, Bakko turned a corner and Hokori was left to hurtle into a nearby cafe, exploding its front room with the sheer force of his attack. Those inside were undoubtedly dead, ghoul or otherwise. Grunting angrily as he dislodged himself from the destroyed bar counter, Hokori stepped out from the cafe and jumped up high to mount the rooftops again.

There he saw Bakko running across the rooftops herself, making good distance without any land obstacles to obstruct her. Another howl sounded from Hokori and his larger rinkaku tentacle pulled him forward, once again slingshotting him in her direction. Landing like a ballistae shot, his landing threw Bakko off balance, causing her to fall off the rooftop to the alleys below. She landed lightly and kept going, her electrified kagune whipping some street lights as she crossed a street into a new alley. As Hokori followed, his larger kagune swung upwards brutally and swatted the two falling street lights out of the way effortlessly. With a sudden burst of speed, Hokori slid on his feet down low across the alley floor so that he didn't fly past Bakko.

Shhhhhhooooooooo...

Silence reigned supreme in a brief moment of clarity, the sounds of footsteps and a desolate pale wind remaining constant. As Hokori drew level with Bakko, time seemed to slow as the two met, their motions fluid like falling sand, their perceptions weaving onto the same plane of understanding; the level of reaction speed only ghouls were truly capable of. Bakko's eyes widened in surprise as Hokori's malevolent face gnashed violently at her. His hand swung out for savage hit to her back, flinging her forward. Luckily for her, the attack had been slightly cushioned by the fact that it impacted on her kagune, but it would still likely hurt like hell. Additionally, the electrical discharge from her kagune lashed out at Hokori upon contact, causing him to snarl in pain and withdraw for a moment. Having recovered from the shock, Hokori continued pursuit as she flew forth, not realising that they had finally reached amusement park.

She thought he would be stupid. She thought that he keep running toward nothing. But locking eyes with Hokori, a monster of a ghoul, she could see madness. Hunger. And deadly intent to consume. Time slowed as he nearly handed a punch to her midsection, only the take a punch to her rinkakau. A punch that still knocked the wind out of her, and launched her through the wall of J-world and into the train of the indoor roller coaster. She let out a pain grunt, laying there for a second to the get her bearings. She was alive, not a single bit of flesh bitten out of her. Just winded and cradled in the loving arms a roller coaster that may never work again.

Bakko shook her head and gasped for breath as she pried her way out of the metal and started running up the tracks of the ride. The lights were still on, but no humans were around. The Doves must've advised them clear the area to sweep the place. She climbed her way up one of the humps onto the second floor. Scrambling with the knowlege of pride was not one to give up the chase until he was dead, or preoccupied with another fight, she tore the chain barrier open to a gift shop. "Come on darlin. I know you have some here." She muttered as she tore the place apart for anything. Taking off the hoodie to tie it around her waist and putting on a one piece shirt, she finally found what she was looking for.

A mask.

A Hollow mask from bleach, but a mask none the less. And putting it on, she hummed at the fact that it covered her whole head. Nice fit too.

The noise of frantic footsteps grew closer, Bakko hissed before noticed a door a few feet away. The service hallway. She smirked as an idea formed in her mind. She slipped through the door, using her rinkaku as silent feet to slip away and blocked the door with a chair before running down the hall to find the piece of this, admittedly, really ballsy idea.

Leon heard the gunshots ring from outside the park. "What the hell. They are outside the park too, come on," he stated waving the two investigators that were there with him to follow him back out the ticket stands back to the streets. The threeof them made their way to the streets scanning the area for possible ghoul threats. Leon held his hand up signalling to stop as he saw the entrance of an alleyway, hearing a rush of footsteps coming from it. He picked up the message from Elric on his comms device, but he ignored it, his gut told him otherwise and that there was definitely more going on here that Blackmar was blissfully unaware of.

The agent gazed down the sights of his Submachine Gun, scanning the corridor and the different areas surrounding the park. That was until a ghoul conveniently flew from the area outside the park down into it. "How convenient," Leon muttered to himself, "you two go take care of that one, they might still be alive after a hit like that. I'm going to go after the big one." Leon then ran out alone to the source and intercepted the ghoul. It was a familiar face, none other than Hokori himself, showing up to the party. "Why hello there," Leon stated as he lined up his sights and pulled the trigger several times firing off a few bursts of gunfire their direction until his gun ran out of ammunition, making a distinct click sound. "Shit. I'm out." Leon then began reaching for his side arm.

Kenny Ashikaga
Location: 16 Ward/J-World Kenny was caught off guard when Bakko revealed her kagune to the investigator and even more surprised when she let him go. However, when she got into a fight with a powerful smelling ghoul, he got worried. Kenny jumped down into the alley where Bakko trashed a ghoul. The ghoul from earlier was definitely strong. Stronger than Bakko and stronger than him in his current state. The ghoul in front of him was about to regain consciousness, but Kenny took out his quinque from his backpack and stabbed it in the heart. He proceeded to take several bites out of its kagune before ripping out the kakuhou and consuming it for the Rc cells.

When Kenny was finished, he stashed his duffel bag and he backpack in the alley, hopefully where no one would take it, and pulled on his mask and hood. He wrapped his own kagune around his legs, as opposed to his arms as he usually do, and began following the two ghouls back the way he came from. He managed to catch up with them despite their head start, following the trail of destruction in their wake, only to find them to be fighting inside of J-World. "Dammit. Of all the placed they could've fought, they chose this place."

Hearing gunfire by the park, Kenny rushed into the building to find the ghoul chasing Bakko, erratically searching for her. The ghoul's behavior and the strong scent of fresh ghoul flesh on him pointed to the fact that he was a cannibal, potentially a kakuja. Unlike Kenny, however, this ghoul appeared to be more than just a few screws loose. Kenny switched his quinque into scythe form and wrapped his kagune around his arms, forming claws and augmenting his strength. He looked at the ghoul, and got ready strike if needed. "Hey, you crazy ghoul! Haven't you heard that it's rude to hit a lady? And what's with the scent of ghoul flesh on you? It's making me hungry."

Pants of excitement and pure savagery followed the staggered footsteps as Hokori exited the alley and entered the amusement park. As he got his bearings, he noticed a figure rapidly approaching him. Squinting to focus through the mad cacophony of gluttonous cravings that remained dominant in his mind, Hokori made the person out to be someone he was familiar with. An investigator? Frowning and growling at the man, Hokori briefly recalled seeing him during his fight with that Eyepatch-wannabe. He had a bone to pick with that kid, and if this man was in league with that particular ghoul then Hokori was not about to pass this opportunity up, hungry or not. This comforting thought momentarily brought clarity to his mind as he focused on Leon and forgot the other ghoul he had been chasing chasing, a clear goal in mind: Kill that dove.

As the bullets came, his thicker rinkaku waved forth to protect him from the hail. Running forward with more certainty now, Hokori waited until the bullets ran out and lashed his smaller, quicker rinkaku around Leon’s leg. With a sudden force, it pulled at the ankle it was anchored to in order to ensure the investigator fell over. Supposing he did, Hokori would then allow his larger rinkaku to simply strike forth and crush the man beneath. Perhaps due to his hunger cravings or his intense focus, but Hokori was only vaguely aware of the other ghoul’s presence.

Leon fell to the ground having been swept off his feet by another attack dropping his SMG in the process. He saw the larger rinkaku bearing down on him so he rolled out of the way of the attack in order to dodge it. Then he rolled aside to gain some more distance from the ghoul while drawing one pistol in order to arm himself and fired at the ghoul in a more convincing passion as he pelted the larger rinkaku forming the wall to protect the ghoul from the continuous hail of gun fire. "Same tactics won't work like yesterday, just all the bit more wiser now."

Leon kept up his covering fire as he continued to gain more distance, stepping backwards with every shot in order to avoid another attack and move to a different position without being seen as Hokori was forced to keep up the defense. Leon then stopped for a brief moment when he knew he was about to run out of bullets. But he decided that this would be his opportunity to finally lay a good hit into the ghoul. Leon, to make it seem like he was reloading his weapon, dropped the magazine to the floor knowing that the ghoul would most likely move when he had to reload his weapon. He then reached behind his back for his quinque, Giant Killer, and readied himself so that he would draw and fire his quinque at the same time as the sound of the magazine hitting the asphalt below him. With every movement showing his years of experience in taking down ghouls, every moment calculated, every reaction near perfect.

"THERE SHE IS! SHOOT HER!" The service hallways were always a maze. Bakko knew that, the doves chasing her knew that and the hope for this plan to pull through all hinged on where she thought the place was.

Bullets wizzed past her as she ran, sliding down stairways to get deeper in the complex. Down, down, they all went with the clangs of near misses and scratches, Damn quinques being the only thing that ever give her issues. Her bikaku whipped back and fourth as her rinkaku raked against the wall. But with a quick glance, right before she passed it, she found what she was looking for. The power room. The Doves behind her also nearly dashed passed the door, almost not seeing her dip into the room. The room inside was lit, made brighter by the glow of her Kagune. She backed herself into the back wall as they cornered her. "<Are you gonna come quietly, Stolas? Or are you gonna die for this?>" One of them threatened as her hand gripped on the power box.

Bakko laughed quietly. "<Oh darlin'...quiet is boring. Especially when you'll sound so wondrous.>" Her rinkaku punched into the circuit barkers, ripping out wires and causing the lights to die off. The doves infront of her panicked as the lights rolled and flickered to darkness all over the building. "Leon! Stolas has knocked out the-!" The one screaming into his radio couldn't even finish his warning as he was beaten into the wall by bakko's Bikaku. Convulsing and screaming as he was electicuted and beaten into the wall. The other screamed as he shot wildly at Bakko, but she was too quick and knocked him into into the back wall and knocked him out.

Bakko took a deep breath, letting her eyes adjust to the darkness she pulled her kagune back into herself. It was time to get back to top side, hopefully that mad dog of a ghoul was too preoccupied to notice her escape this time.

Location: 16 Ward/J-World Kenny presence went completely unnoticed by the ghoul as soon as the American investigator from earlier walked in. Soon after the investigator saw the cannibal ghoul, he began to open fire with his submachine gun. The building rang out from the shots fired as the two began their battle. Kenny was glad he didn't take the ghoul head on. The way he fought was definitely interesting and now, Kenny knew his kagune. Choosing not to fight would be a better option, but the ghoul in front of him was strong, and a few bites out of him would easily make Kenny stronger.

The ghoul investigator was soon pulled to the floor but recovered quickly and continued his assault. "Hmm... As long as this investigator's here, I won't be able to feed." Kenny had no grudge against any investigators, and in fact, he preferred to keep them alive, so that they would not consider him as large of threat. The ideal course of action would be to knock out the CCG agent and then kill that cannibal ghoul so that he could feed.

When the investigator reloaded his side arm, pulled out his oversized revolver and took aim. At this moment, Kenny brandished his scythe and dashed towards the investigator as he was preoccupied by the other ghoul. Assuming that everything went according to plan, Kenny would take the agent by surprise, disarming him and knocking him out with the blunt end of the scythe.

Hokori
(The Quinque Eater)

30d4d85b5713db5b367c488ee8137fb6--dark-anime-guys-hot-anime.jpg

A heartbeat thudded loudly in Hokori's ears as his large rinkaku swished behind him so that he could dart forward swiftly, leaping forward from his position to shoot forth. The second the magazine hit the floor, he was gone, displaying impressive speed and agility. However, his charge was short lived as he glanced up, his red eyes like neon lasers, a look of shock and surprise on his hunger-crazed features. The investigator had another weapon, larger than before, aimed directly at him. It was the one he'd first fired the other day, the one that had shot his kagune right off in a single shot.

Eyes widening, Hokori twisted midair in an attempt to dodge the kill shot and as it went off like a cannon, it caught him directly in the shoulder opposite from his side wound. As if he had just been clotheslined, Hokori flipped backwards in the air, all his momentum from the leap stopped. For a moment he convulsed on the floor, screaming raggedly in agony from the pain. But then eventually is body shut that pain off and desensitised him from it. The hunger took over again and Hokori got up from his lying position, remaining motionless as he stood. His wound was regenerating very slowly, barely enough to stop the immediate bleeding. He needed food, not just to sate his cravings, but to save his life.

And food was what he'd get. As the other ghoul, of whom Hokori had just finally registered existed, moved to attack Leon, Hokori capitalised on the distraction to leap forward once more through the use of digging his larger kagune into the ground to act as a sort of horizontal catapult. The result ended up in Hokori roughly tackling the investigator through a wooden shack-type building, likely a ticket booth for some ride. As the dust settle, Hokori would be seen to the side, a considerable smear of blood staining the corner of his mouth. If one were to closely analyse the human involved, they'd find a hefty chunk taken out of his shoulder, a large bite mark being left in the stead of the muscle and flesh that should be there.

Standing up to his full height slowly, Hokori dragged his gloved hand across his mouth, a nasty look of ruthless clarity entering his piercing gaze. He was back to normal, and he was not happy. The ghoul's rinkaku kagunes retracted back into his back as he stepped out of the half-demolished shack. He glanced over at the other ghoul and narrowed his eyes, but otherwise didn't say anything much. If he was here to help take care of this investigator, Hokori was capable of holding off on killing him just yet. Not that Hokori needed help executing this mongrel. Raising his palm to head height and squeezing it into a tight fist, he glared at Leon with a burning intensity of focus that boasted a newfound affinity for situational awareness. He would be fighting smarter now, no longer the rabid dog he had become. Hokori couldn't quite remember exactly what he had done when in his crazed state, but he briefly remembered killing one ghoul and chasing another to this amusement park. Didn't matter now, all the he cared about was killing this particular human for getting in his way the day before. Those who interfered in his missions would pay in flesh, a lot of flesh...

Lights went out as Bakko hopped from floor to floor, and back to the amusement park proper. By the time she got topside, the entire building had gone dark. Doves scrambled in the dark as she sped by them, some of them close lined and knocked out and others only hearing her quick footfalls. She quickly made her way to the roller-coaster that she had landed in when she got there and smirked. "This is about to be fun~" she purred, climbing up on the rails and climbed to the highest hump. She stopped in her track at the crack of a gun and flinched, expecting the pain of a gunshot wound. But there was nothing, it came from below.

Overlooking the park from the top of a loop, she could see a fight in the darkness. The mad dog trying to gnaw on a rather large dove, and kenny looking like the grim reaper...trying to defend the man? "Well this isn't the strangest thing I've seen today." Bakko whispered to herself in confusion. This whole day was a mess, but she was gonna get out of this alive. And hopefully the kid as well. She wrapped her kagune around the railing as she slipped under the loop and started to swing. Swinging harder and harder until she was spinning around it.

She whispered a prayer before swinging up and going airborne, both pairs of her Kagune glowing brightly like a neon peacock and crackling angrily with sparks. "INCOMING!!!!" Her scream on the way down, slamming her all six of her kagune at the ground close to Hokori, causing a flash of light and a shock-wave of electricity outward. A lightning strike in all but name

Leon Kennedy

Leon struggled back to his feet, feeling the warm flow of blood from his shoulder. He saw a brief flash of light blinding him for a bit, but he recovered quickly. He waltzed around the broken shack he had blown through trying to find cover from the ensuing fight between what apparently was two other ghouls and Hokori. He limped away behind the shack and thrust himself against the wall realigning his dislocated shoulder. The sudden burst of pain stung like unlike anything else he had felt before but that did not matter. Then reaching into his utility belt, he pulled out out a canister of some sort and popped it open. Leon then dumped its contents onto the open wound on his shoulder and ingested some as well. The tissue began rapidly growing back and stopped the bleeding and the bruises on his body began to heal as well. The process drained him of some of his energy, but at least healed the wounds that had been inflicted upon him.

Another flash of sparked near him as the ghoul that apparently was able to concentrate her RC Cells into some sort of electrical energy struggled against Hokori. Her several tentacles clashing with Hokori as the two duked it out. Leon sneaked around the fight and picked up the gun that he had dropped earlier when he had been knocked off his feet by Hokori. He took off to cover inside the cafe and replaced the magazine of his weapon with a fresh one. Also doing the same with his handgun to make sure he was prepared for another engagement with the enemy. He peeked out to see if he was noticed and sent out a distress signal to the CCG to see if he could get some backup.

Kenny Ashikaga
Location: 16 Ward/J-World As Kenny made his move against the investigator, the erratic ghoul tackled the investigator and took a bite out of the poor investigator's shoulder. When the ghoul got up, he glanced at Kenny, sending a shiver down his spine. Kenny prepared to make an attack, but Bakko's appearance interrupted whatever plan he had. He had to jump back to avoid her lightning charged attack. Even then, several shards of tile embed themselves into Kenny shoulder causing him to wince in pain, though he wouldn't let something so simple prevent him from getting to eat the powerful ghoul on the receiving end of the attack. As Kenny blinked out Bakko's improvised distraction, he was able to appreciate Bakko's chimera kagune: a set of red rinkaku and bikaku kagune with a flickering neon tint that soon disappeared. "Damn...that's hot."

Kenny's focus soon turned to the investigator creeping towards the cafe. Left alone, he would undoubtedly call for reinforcements, and that would be problematic for Kenny's feeding. He left Bakko to take care of the ghoul and pursued the investigator. It would be much easier to consume a corpse; no effort needed to spent fighting. Kenny slowly approached the cafe, scythe in hand. His jacket flared out as he walked, adding to his intimidating visage. He unwrapped his kagune from his arms and wrapped them around his legs for a leap. Kenny crashed into the cafe immediately noticed the investigator behind the counter. He feigned a sense of ignorance and attempted to intimidate the investigator into leaving so that he won't have to deal with him. "Where are you little dove? I don't have anything against you, but if you keep on interfering, you'll have to meet the Reaper. I'll give you one chance to run before I kill you, and neither of us want that, do we?"

"I don't think you know who you're dealing with," Leon stated as he got to his feet. He pulled out his quinque, opened up the chamber, and emptied out one of the capsules that was inside it and replaced it with a new one before closing everything back up. "You have misguided faith in your abilities," he said before standing to his feet, quinque drawn. He then noticed that the ghoul did not use a kagune but rather some kind of quinque similar to the one that Special Class Investigator Juuzou Suzuya used.
