Category One Dinosaurs
Velociraptor (the movie versions)
Agile, quick, and deadly, they make deadly battle mounts and war companions. They often liked to travel in packs and execute battle strategies through "barks" which was the communication of this raptor.
Pteranodon
This primal flyer mainly fed on fish, like Coelacanths. They make great scout fliers.
Triceratops
These dinosaurs are slow but can carry a lot making them great trading dinosaurs. However they have some battle potential as line defenders, their frill is made of pure bone, reducing the impact force of arrows and anyone who is stupid enough to get close, the horns prove quite deadly.
Category Two Dinosaurs
Utahraptor
Though they cannot be ridden, they are great ambush predators. Great stealth for the sneaky viking.
Shantungosuarus
A fast herbivore, it's size and speed made them great transporters of goods.
Category Three Dinosaurs
Compsognathus (AKA Compy)
Though not particularly useful, they make great shoulder pets.
Velociraptor (The real life versions)
Their small size make them useless in combat, however put them on your shoulder. Anyone who sees a viking with a mini raptor on their shoulder would probably wanna run.
Category Four Dinosaurs
Puertasaurus
One of the largest sauropod that ever lived, these things are impossible to tame mainly because they can't even see you.
Spinosaurus
Honestly, how can you tame this? It'll just eat you before you can tranquilize it.
Therizinasaurus
Often called "the vulture turkey", the Therizinasaurus was very territorial. It's not that they don't wanna be tamed.
Tyrannosaurus Rex
This will attack you sight. Contrary to popular belief, T-Rexes did NOT have eyesight based on movement.
