Fantasy To Reset the World (Accepting Again)

Lana observed the Knight before eating some meat watching her for a moment, "You ever think, or wonder perhaps if the gods pay attention down here? Like if they could somehow be challenged to force a change they would do it," Lana had asked this question in regards to the one idea she had dreamt up an Impossibility some would call it but, if it could be accomplished then things could be set right.

Arweldyn seemed a little disappointed with the mention of "gods". As a Holy Knight, she only believed in one God. Graia. "I begged to Graia to change what is. But it seems we will not get a reset for free... But your idea... It would earn us a wish...", she said and laid down her knife and fork. "Indeed, that would work! But... Then again, we would need to gather more people..."

@Lana Valentine

Lana rubbed her shoulder at the knight's excitement not expecting such a reaction, "It would indeed be difficult with two people but, I am certain there are others we could convince eventually, and I say Gods as there must be many gods for all the different beliefs others have or it is what I assume." Lana explained both placed a nearly cleaned off bone onto her plate. "Though you realize that earning such a thing would mean the deaths of a lot of people... I believe that to Achieve righteousness one must sometimes commit acts of evil but, do you think you can stomach those ideals if it comes to it?" She asked the Knight while spinning a fork in between her fingers.

After Rim had finished the bread, she watched the humans at work, or, the slaves. She rubbed her arm and looked at the medical items she had bought. Rim sent the medical items back to the doctor through another fellow slave. Rim smiled and returned to walking about the city. She had finished her errands, so now, she was going to stay out for a while longer.

Arweldyn shook her head. "Their deathes will be no crime. As long as righteousness guides my hand, only those that are of guilt will be struck by my weapon. Who tries to defy the right cause, which will be ours, will make himself guilty. Therefore i will never need to leave the path of Graia's justice.", she explained. She ate a small tomato. "But when it comes to searching members, we should better search the ones of the enslaved races. The most humans have no intention to help."

@Lana Valentine

"Turning Away help would not be advised either if another such as yourself exists," Lana said growing more surprised by Arweldyn's reactions. "My name is Lana by the way I suppose I never told you that," She said thinking back to earlier in the day, "Your city here would be the best option for us to find others I imagine,"

After the whole thief fiasco and thoughts about the enslaved. Mark bought some bread from one of the bakeries, it was cheaper than the others but tasted the same. He sighed, it could take days or weeks or even months until another carriage arrives. And there's also an off-chance that they wouldn't allow him to join with them. "I should've thought about this more..." the boy whispered, taking a nibble from his bread. He returns back to the market place, sitting on one of the empty stores as he continued his wait.

Rim stopped, standing in the shadows of a market. She was afraid that if she stayed out too long, she was going to get into trouble. She looked over her shoulder towards her forest kingdom, sighing. She should really get back...oh well. Rim shook her head slightly and shrugged it off. She just wanted to be away from that place for a while. She took a deep breath and exhaled with a long smile.

Jack was passing by the market on his travels, maybe he was going you stay in this town inn for a good week or so, since the town looked really good, but slaves were of numerous amounts in this area.

He looked at the scenario until he felt his stomach grumble, he really should get some food, a quick food, he really hadn't time to cook something or wait. He decided to go to one of the nearby shops, maybe buy a food item or something.

After a while of bargaining, he buyed a loaf of bread for two bronze coins, a pretty lesser form of currency but it got the job done. He stood beside one of the lanes, watching the men and the slaves work and complete their respective objectives, he was particularly bored at their sluggish work performances, he moved away, walking through the city in search.

He walked on until he noticed an elf from his peripherals, he leaned on the right side of the road, before engaging into what seemed to be a small talk with her, look if she has any problems or hindrances that came be taken care of.

"Hello, young lady, you seem to be roaming about in this city, do you have any problem? or is your master disturbing you?" He said, chucking a bit, even though he looked very rough, his voice was actually very calm, sincere and polite.

Arweldyn nodded. "Very well. How about this: We eat, then i will take a shower. After i did, feel free to do so too. And then, we will search for some people.", she said. She needed a shower badly. Her hair was messy and her face was dirty. Her momentanous clothibg was just some sort of cloth dress. But what was visible, was that somewhere down of that, there could be a pretty girl.

@Lana Valentine

Rim took a step back of caution from the human. She was afraid of him getting her into trouble. Although his gentle voice did creak a smile to her face. "M-my master? Ah, right!" Her voice shook as she pointed back to the forest, where her kingdom was located. "No. No trouble at all! I was simply running some errands!" She chuckled nervously, rubbing her arm. She hoped he wouldn't have to escort her, that would be unpleasant.

[Edit: Damn. I apologize, I forgot to mention you. @Elephantom ]

Lana only nodded slightly truth be told she had meant to visit her stream but, had encountered the Ranger and had lost that thought within her mind, "Yeah, I could use one, it's been awhile since I've had a chance to relax in such a way," Lana had to always be on guard and armed for not only was she a full blooded elf but, an escaped slave and thief on top of that, it had made her life difficult at times.

Arweldyn nodded. "I am Arweldyn by the way, if i hadn't said that. An elven girl i once knew, a friend when I was a kid, always called me Arwyn. I think it is elvish. But anyway, feel free to call me that. Also know, that you are save here. As long as you do not use me and betray me, which would guilt you. But i have trust, that you are a good and just person."

@Lana Valentine

Lana nodded somewhat still not fully trusting the knight but was a touch more at ease around her. "Okay then, though as I am a thief by trade, I doubt I would be considered Good or Just to the majority of the world." She said as she looked around quietly. "Do you have something better that I might wear as well?" She asked mentioning towards her clothes.

@Ami the breadling

Arweldyn nodded. "I will make sure Sebastian put something suitable for you in the bathroom. But for the outside world: We are friends, you once were my slave but i gave you freedom. Therefore you are a legitimate, independant and free inhabitant. Alright?", she said and waved to Sebastian, who nodded and left.

It was now night. Keline was walking outside on the path to visit one of her patients who needed healing assistance, her bag of herbs and medicines hanging from her side. She passed through the market place, and noticed the carriage boy was still sitting there.

"Hey," she said. "So we meet again. We never properly introduced each other by the way. I'm Keline Whisper, what's your name?"

Lana crossed her arms and nodded to Arwyn's idea, "Very well, may I still attempt to acquire money through shady practices, it's become a habit," She said with am innocent smile. She started tapping on her chin in a slow drumming motion, "I wonder if any of those people would want to join our cause?" She thought of the people she had interacted with earlier in the day.

@Tekigami (It's cool, come on when you can)

Taeral had still been hunting in the same area. He seemed to do that 24/7. The bag he had for animal skins and animal meat was almost full. He figured one more animal would do it, so he killed the last one he needed, and headed back to the city. He sold the animal skins for quite a bit of money, and rented a room in an Inn with a portion of the money.

"No, just saying, slaves here tend to get roughed around by their masters, I hope to liberate most of them, they do deserve a proper life, you know? You too deserve a proper life, not as a slave or some property but as a self-established person, who has equally has all the rights the human beings have." He replied back to the timid girl's statement as he paused a bit.

"Eh, don't tell anyone I told you this, but I heard that some people kill their slaves and get away with it, the law enforcement officers purposefully ignore them in some cases." He whispered to her, before returning to his normal state.

"Well, I can teach you a thing or two about fighting, you never know when you might need it, but I full-heartedly think that you deserve a life of our own. I'm off to the inn, if you have any problem with anyone or have seen someone with problems, please don't hesitate to inform me." He finished as he started to walk away to the inn, he needed a rest, a peaceful nap was all he needed for now. He nibbled his loaf of bread before moving about.

Rim nodded, "Yes, I thank I thank you very much!" She watched him walk away to the inn as she thought about what he had said. Would the masters really kill their slaves? And most importantly, would her kingdom's doctor kill her? She had never had any serious peohpems with him other than when she avoided him. Rim gasped, realizing how long she was out. She ran back to her kingdom quickly where she was met with a heavy whip on her back. Rim looked up and her heart sank when she realized that it was her master. She was whipped more before he walked away. Rim stood with tears running down her cheek, mixing with blood. She thought, 'why do they do this to slaves? Other races?' She snuck out a roll of bandage from the small shack where they have their little doctor's office. She walked back to where the man was, bangading where she whip struck her. She walked inside, looking for the kind man.

@Elephantom

As he was on his way to the inn, he wasn't progressing much to his destination, mostly due to extensive sightseeing and learning about the kingdom's history and literatures, when he once again, spotted that timid young woman again.

As if the day wasn't getting any stranger, he figured that what he predicted came to be all too true, of course, in a more milder manner, as she wasn't a ghost or anything, which would prove his predictions to be partially correct. Nevertheless, he could see that the woman was in distress, or if was to put his bet in it, she was looking for him. Once he approached her enough for a friendly greeting, he decided to speak first, it'd be better not to delay any longer.

"Ah! Young lady, what may have brought you here again?" He said, he looked around before talking again, now in a slightly more subtle manner.

"I'm sure you're intent on abandoning your master, who may have been abusive to you in the last thirty minutes." He finished.

"Yes, you are correct." Rim chuckled lightly, "My master wasn't very happy, and I have come back for those defence lessons you told me about." Rim jumped slightly, hearing screams from a woman. She looked over at the woman who was holding a man.

@Elephantom

The girl asking from earlier was there, who introduced herself. She seems to be friendly and she doesn't look that much of a thief. Mark shook his head, bowing to her and introducing himself. "I-I'm M-Mark Ray Phantasmo." the boy said, still too shy to talk.

"I-If you're going t-to ask... The carriage has already left. A-And I'm a bit stuck h-here for a few days." he exclaimed. "M-May I ask? What are you doing here?"

@Pashpu

"Well, I'm walking to someone's house- well not her house, she's a slave. I'm a healer, and my patient is hurt." said Keline. Standing next to Mark, Keline noticed that Mark had some clearly elfish features, despite looking human from a distance.

She lowered her voice to a whisper. "You know, it isn't easy at all surviving in this town being a half-elf like you. It's different here than in the forest. People will gang up on you, or sell you into slavery...it's not safe staying out here alone," she said sadly. Then she thought of an idea. "But seeing as you're stuck here a few days, why don't you help me out? You could be my assistant. The elfish slaves I treat hate listening to humans, but being half-elf you could maybe connect with them."

@EXPMIRACLE

"They do that?" thought Mark. It seems like he needs to put his guard up in this city as he never knew about these dangers.

"R-Really? Well... I-I do have a lot of time to waste. If it's just h-helping then I guess it's alright." he replied, giving her a thumbs up. "S-So where's this house?".
