Lastly: What is your character’s ambitions (what are they trying to achieve)?
Rules:
First and foremost, adhere to all of RpNation rules and regulations.
Secondly, even though I am giving you lots of leniency with techniques and special moves, do understand they will increase in strength as your character progresses. In short, your character is no kung fu prodigy or master of some skill. So if there is a new part of the technique/move at each level, be sure to document that. I will not honor on the spot additions.
Thirdly, I made the character sheet pretty straight forward so I expect to see all of the fields filled out. No ifs ands or buts.
Fourthly, the Wuxia genre is a bit different from a Dungeons and Dragons game or other roleplays you will find on this site. There are no classes or races. Everyone is human and you are not confined to a class with set skills and abilities. Instead there are proficiencies which are your skills. You want to be able to intimidate someone, go ahead. You want to put all your points towards bartering, go for it. I want everyone to do whatever you want in terms of skills and etc. Just keep in mind you are starting out as a level one character.
Fifthly: In terms of leveling up, there will be a experience meter for everyone. It’s the best way to keep track of how far you are to level whatever. When you level up, you will get 20 points to put wherever in terms of your proficiencies. Your base stats (everyone has 100 for health and 20 for everything else) will be increased by 5 points. You get to add one new skill to your arsenal at level one. At level one, you have five points in each category but health which is 100. You also have 20 points to add to your base stats so put them wherever.
Lastly: This roleplay is supposed to be fun so please don’t be that guy. I shouldn’t have to specify what that guy entitles but to make a long story short but if everyone gets irritated with you and I have to give you a verbal warning, you are THAT guy.
Clarification
Qi: The energy your character uses to perform extraordinary feats, for example walking up a completely vertical surface or walking across water. Applies in and out of combat.
Qi techniques: Techniques that require qi. This is where you guys can go wild with your imagination. Please keep in mind if it’s an all powerful technique you don't get to use it at full power at level one.
Magic Techniques: These techniques are also to your discretion. Same goes here as with the qi techniques. If it’s all powerful you don’t get to use it at full power at level one. You also have to have a chakra stone or a magical item made from one.
Special/Signature Moves: Want your character to be able to project a mirage of himself when he attacks as a distraction? That would fall under this category. Same as with the qi and magic techniques, you are not a god at level one.
Companions: This is a slot for a tamed animal or pact animal. You may also have a magic construct in this slot.
Proficiency: This is where you would put your skills. For example, if you want to be able to pick locks, be smooth talker, be able to make pills or even tame animals that skill goes in the proficiency slot. You get twenty points at level one to distribute amongst your proficiencies so it’s probably a good idea to have only a few in the beginning.
