Introduction
Four wandering souls.

Set on their way through either choice, or unfortunate consequence made their way to a journey which to some may have no concrete end in sight.

Travel may often be a full-time endeavor, but there is one thing that can bring it to a standstill.

That thing is known as bad weather, when the sky begins to darken and cascades of water and bolts of lightning come down to pummel any who find themselves without cover. Unfortunately, that is where four travelers find themselves.

Caught in the near barren landscape of grasslands where the only cover in sight is a rocky outcrop which seems to be carved into the landscape with its imposing silhouette occasionally being enlightened by the flashes of lightning that burst down to illuminate the landscape.

This would be the destination of any of these travelers who did not want to find themselves being sodden and perhaps even lightning struck.

The first among these four travelers to find cover under this rock outcropping was the very sodden but not at all out of sorts looking Aelonn Deepreef. To the Aquarian this sort of weather may have been welcome had it not been so cold.

He removed the cloak that he kept over his head to hide his identity as a resident of the sea and attempted to wring it out. He took a couple deep breaths while looking at his surroundings before he moved to the very back of the outcrop which was a solid rock wall.

A pair of stone pillars acted as support to the outcrop in the direction Aelonn had come. It would be hard to see for any distance in the storm but despite that Aelonn took a seat against the outcrop and looked out at the stormy grassland.

Ghur wasn't a stranger to bad weather. The lands of Aethyr had been plagued by storms during the fall, droughts during the summer, blizzards during the winter and only a brief calm during the spring. However during all the terrible weather, Ghur had the safety of a stronghold's sturdy roofs and unshakable walls to keep him safe from the exposure, but now exiled, Ghur had to suffer through it all with nothing more then his clothes, unfit for such a storm and a torch that was slowly going out. It wouldn't be long until the storm snuffs out what little warmth and vision he had left and Ghur was in no position to actually be out in this storm alone.

The light was dim, very dim in fact and the sounds of the wind and rain kept Ghur from being able to make out any visible landmarks, but the light he held shone brightly enough that should someone be watching, they would be clearly see a single stumbling, manmade ball of dying fire, walking around in the singing grassland.

Hisoshi Armedia
(Ice Mage)
Location: Hidden cavern at the base of the mountain in the center of the continent (Also known as Mt. Giotarm)

The weather was but a sound in the distance from the frozen cave where Hisoshi remained. He's used to the cold, even thinks to himself that he is the embodiment of the cold occasionally so it won't bother him. Ice covered the walls, but it had all come from him. With very little light, he was transcribing strange symbols into a book. These arcane symbols glowed slightly as he completed each drawing. Further within the cave, there can be sounds of clinking metal, like swords clashing since that is in fact what is happening. A cryo companion had been sent off to deal with the resident human knight that dwelled in the cave. It seemed to be putting up a good fight... perhaps its armor would be a useful metal? That's for another time though, what was needed now was a protection spell to eliminate all weather from interacting with the user... perhaps this would give him the money to buy new gear, but maybe not. It's well worth the rush however, so he continues with his work. The sounds are inaudible from outside the cave, rendering his shelter hidden to the world until the rain cleared.

The weather was not on his side today thought Hawks as he sat underneath a large oddly shaped tree in the forest that was giving him cover from the rain and lighting. While sitting under the tree Hawks was taking inventory of all his things making sure nothing was missing, as well as enjoying a meal.
"There is always something going on in this at times like these. But you can't do anything on an empty stomach." As he took a bite out of his sandwich."After a while, he packed up everything seeing it was still raining he started messing with a nearby stick on the ground. Once he finished he stood up looking out into the forest picking up the finished product of a makeshift arrow he made writing a little message on it that said (found you). Aiming with his bow he fired it watching it sore off into the distance. He smiles at it." That went farther than I expected it to I should go retrieve that later and it's already in the direction I'm heading in."

Lunee trudged down the road, the wind sliding through a thin layer of her a little bit too small coat. Bad weather usually wouldn't bother her that much but hunger and several hours of walking did their work. She didn't know whether it was an illusion or not but it seemed like there was an extensive tree a couple meters away. Since it was raining, there was a risk of a storm but the girl was too tired to think about it. Although she might have been close to the town she was heading to she decided to take a break from walking. Lunee sat under the tree making herself as comfortable as possible. The droplets of rain falling from the sky and spattering o n the ground and leaves sounded very soothing. Despite all of her instincts telling her not to, she fell asleep.

After a few hours of a fitful sleep she woke up. Yesterday's rain turned into a drizzle. The girl was even more cold and hungry than before and the fact that her clothes were almost soaked didn't help. Ignoring the backache she stood up and started to continue her journey to Caerfield. Little did she know, she messed up the directions and was on a road to the border with Lefrium.
