Fandom The Untold Whispers: A Spark in the Kingdom

Merrick wasn't going to be merciful this time. As the lanky pirate stumbled to rise to his feet, Merrick threw an elbow directed at the pirates jaw. He hadn't been paying attention to what was going on behind him, but he did catch a name that Hook said, Prince Simba.

Merrick's elbow connected with the man's jaw. The lanky man collapsed onto the hard floor, grabbing his jaw in pain. Suddenly, a loud roar filled the castle, making all the pirates stop fighting with Hook and his companions. Suddenly, Captain Tetch ran past his crew towards the exit of the castle, being followed by a huge lion. The lion then issued a warning, revealing himself to be the Prince. Most of the pirates were trembling with fear, getting ready to flee along with their Captain. Suddenly, a deep, booming voice then said," Captain Tetch just proved his cowardice. He couldn't even slay a talking lion." The source of the voice immediately stepped out of the group of pirates. The pirate talking was tall, muscular with wild looking hair and tan skin. The most striking part of this man however, were the tattoos that covered his entire body. He then glared at the prince and said to him," I will show these cowards why i have these tattoos." The pirates started to murmur amongst themselves with one of them saying," The Savage is about to fight the Prince."

The Lion Prince looked at “The Savage” and growled. “So, you think you can do what even your pirate captain can not? I just lost my best friend, no matter who I must fight, and no matter what, I will not let his death be in vain! If I must fight you to protect my kingdom, then bring it on!” The Lion Prince said as suddenly, and to new surprise, his magic powers carried over to this form and he surrounded himself with light orbs that circled his body and his mane changed from being made of hair to being made of fire. The Lion Prince then flew up high into the air and sent the orbs at “The Savage” in an endless downpour of attacks.

Merrick gave the pirate one last glare as he backed away from his defeated opponent. He now looked back to see what was going on with the Prince thus far. He knew of him shifting into a lion, but what he was met with was something else. The lion prince now had a flaming mane and was surrounded by glowing white spheres, not to mention that he was flying. Merrick's eyes widened at the magnificent sight. He honestly couldn't think of anyway the day could get weirder. He stepped a bit closer to Hook and Mrithun. "What in the name of King Richard did I miss?" he asked them in confusion.

Hook laughed at Merrick’s words, “I take it he never told you who is really is? Typical for him. Well then, Robin, meet The Lion Prince himself, Prince Simba of Maxia.” Hook said introducing Merrick to who The Prince actually is. Mrithun smiled, “This Kingdom is ruled by King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi, but has lately been run by their son, Prince Simba, in their absence. As for what you are witnessing now, this is Prince Simba’s Lion form, and the powers he is using is all in direct use of his magic powers. His mane was just casted to be fire by one of his spells and the orbs are another spell of his that gets boosted in power when his mane is lit up.” Mrithun said informing Merrick of who the kingdom is run by and what Prince Simba was currently doing with his orbs and mane.

The Savage was pelted with all the orbs and collapsed onto the floor. The Savage had a shocked look on his face, this was the second time he had been bested in combat in his entire time. After a few moments of struggling to get up, The Savage managed to get back up and immediately took out his sword. But, instead of fighting, he knelled in front of the Prince and said something in the Trill language. Meanwhile, the rest of the pirates, seeing what happened to The Savage, fled before The Savage got up and knelt before the Prince.

The Lion Prince stopped his attack and jumped to his feet on the ground. He then stared at The Savage. “You may stand, pirate. From the language you just used, I take it you are from Trill? Haven’t read too much about it, but I have watched over it in the very least. Who are you, besides the name the other pirates gave you?” The Lion Prince asked wanting to know who exactly “The Savage” was. The Lion Prince stood tall as he awaited an answer to his question. This new pirate, why would he kneel to The Prince himself, if he worked for Tetch? Surely the pirate couldn’t think it would just be easy to switch his alliance from Tetch over to The Prince, not after what the pirates did to his very best friend?

Merrick nodded as Hook and Mrithun filled him in on what the hell had happened. So, his true name was Simba. Merrick wondered why he chose to be referred to as just 'The Prince'. As Simba engaged The Savage with a series of attacks involving the orbs, it appeared that the pirate had been defeated. To his surprise however, the goon rose up after the attacks. Slowly, but he did. As the pirate drew his sword, Merrick found himself shaking his head in pity. The man was about to be torn to shreds. What really shocked him was when the pirate knelt as the others fled from the castle. Was he accepting his death? Simba however, did not strike him down. Instead, he asked for the man's identity. Thankfully, the battle was closing up.

The Savage got up from his knees and looked at the Lion Prince and said with his booming voice," I am Turei of the Fanell Tribe of Trill, my master." He then gave a respectful bow to the Prince like a servant would do for his master.

The Lion Prince was taken back by Turei’s words, “Master?!? Me??? Umm.....” The Lion Prince as he was shocked by these words and looked around for someone to save him, but Hook and Mrithun only smiled and laughed at the situation. “Umm...yeah, I’m not really a master of anything. Sure, I have servants and workers, but even they are serving me under their own free will. I’m not a master of anything or anyone.” The Lion Prince said as he turned himself back into his human self. He then looked at Turei as he stretched out his hand, “Just call me Simba, at this point it’s better I embrace who I really am. And it’s nice to meet you Turei of the Fanell Tribe.” Simba said with a smile.

Turei looked at his hand with a shocked look on his face. He then said to Simba," Master, you want your slave to shake hand with you?"

Merrick too found himself smiling as the pirate, Turei, was calling Simba master. The look on Simba's face just shouted 'help' as he looked back to them. The Prince proceeded to tell Turei that he was no master and offered a handshake. Turei on the other hand was confused by the gesture. He referred to himself as a slave when Simba offered the handshake. This would be an amusing conversation, wouldn't it.

Simba quickly put his hand over his face in embarrassment, “Again, I am not a master, and in my kingdom, having slaves is against the law. We don’t like even the term of someone being a slave. No, you are not a slave anymore, my boy, and I am definitely not your master. I don’t know what type of life you have had before, but serving me will come from your own free will and not because you are a slave. For you to have your own free will, that would be my only request. In my kingdom, you are to be treated as everybody else, for we are all born the same, no matter what family we are born into. Even the common villager is to be treated with respect, for we are all connected in the great circle of life.” Simba said revealing that even if Turei wanted to serve him, that he would only do so out of his own free will and he would be treated as everyone else in The Maxia Kingdom.

Turei listened to Simba's words intently. He then said to Simba in his booming voice," I made a vow to be the slave of the man who bested me in combat. For five years, i was the slave of Captain Barbarosa Tetch. But, his cowardliness disgusted me so I ended my servitude and reinstated my vow. Them, you bested me with one attack. But, instead of enslaving me, you gave me my freedom?" Turei's face was a mixture of happiness and shock at this point. He then knelled down and said to Simba," I still chose to serve you, One Who Defeated Turei the Unbreakable."

Rapunzel had been searching for weeks now. His old clothes on her body she was constantly reminded of him. Sure these clothes were big on her but she had tailored them to fit her atleast a bit more flattering. Cloak around her and knapsack hidden underneath it she walked quietly. She had followed the rumours. The whispers of the people of Maxia. They had all lead her here. The castle to talk to the prince herself. She was royalty. She could get away with it. But not with this get up... sighing she found a forest and changed into her old dress. Looking into a nearby puddle of water she slunk back being reminded of her hair. It stung. That day still seethed and ached beneath her smiling facade. He had died. Sure. She brought him back but now he was gone again but what if this time it was for good? What would she ever do without him? Well she couldnt think of it now. It was too late. Now she had to think for herself. She had a brain! She would use it.

Walking to the gates again she looked at them and took down her hooded cape. Looking to a gaurd she smiled politely. "Sir. I'm the princess of Corona.. I've got business to attend to with the prince...could you escort me to him?"

Simba smiled, “Well, if that is what you wish. And you know, you really shouldn’t make a vow like that, it can get you into the wrong crowd easily.” Simba said as he noted that Turei should be more careful with his vows as they can get him into trouble if he is not careful. He then had a sad expression pass over his face. “You know, if it weren’t for Tetch and his pirates, Galva would still be alive. Galva was the strongest, and bravest man I had ever known and I don’t know if I will be able to run my kingdom without him.” Simba said as he remembered all the good times he had with Galva and how Galva helped run the kingdom like no else could.

At the gates, the guard looked at Rapunzel, “Yes, ma’am. Follow me.” The guard said as he led Rapunzel into the castle and (hope it’s okay if I time skip here) eventually they ended at two double doors that would lead Rapunzel into the same room as Simba. “Through those doors you will find The Prince. Any business you have from there will be taken up by his majesty.” The guard said with a smile.

Rapunzels chest tightened as she looked at the huge double doors. She put on a smile and graciously nodded her head to the guard. " Thank you for your generous time." She said before pushing open the big doors which blew back her cloak as air circulated towards her.

Steping onto the marble floor with cold bare feet she looked to the others occupying the room. She stood there rather motionlessly. She flushed and felt hard pressed to find words. "I-I'll just go now. It seems your busy! I-I'll wait outside!" She slowly tip toed out of the room hoping not to be stopped oh god. She had come all this way only to feel terrified.

Simba was taken out of his memories when Rapunzel arrived in the room. Simba then looked as she was getting ready to leave, “Wait! Princess Rapunzel? What are you doing here?” Simba asked as he wanted to know why Rapunzel showed up. It seemed that Simba was fully aware of who the princess was, and that were to be expect almost. It’s not every day a princess goes missing for many years only to be rescued by a thief and reunited with her parents. It was kind of an impressive tale that spread quickly across multiple kingdoms. And considering how Simba was able to use his special globe, he had the advantage of knowing what Rapunzel looked like.

Turei smiled at his new master and was about to say something to him when all of the sudden, a woman walked in. He was about to do the same bow he did for Simba when suddenly, a flash of pain hit his back. He looked up and saw through a window that the sun was rising. Turei then let out a curse in Trill as he started to look around for somewhere dark to hide. As the pain grew worse, he dared not scream, fearing he would anger The Prince and scare the woman. Suddenly, he dashed away from the throne room, shoving Merrick and Hook out of the way in the process as he searched for somewhere dark to hide. Eventually, he burst into a empty guest room and immediately hid inside the closet, hoping that the darkness in there would keep him safe until night.

Captain Tetch let out a scream of anger that filled the sea cave he was hiding in. He had just lost his only chance to lift the curse. Now, he was going to not only remain a cursed man forever, but lose his ship and crew. Tetch paced back and forth across the cave hoping that Mr. Ursula hadn't heard about his failure yet.

Hook was taken by surprise of what Turei did, but quickly looked at Mrithun. “The curse, forgot about that part.” Hook said, as Mrithun nodded, “I go take care of this matter.” Mrithun said as he then followed after Turei. When Mrithun got to the closet that Turei was hiding in, Mrithun knocked on the closet door. “Turei, I take it your curse is starting to effect you? You know, Prince Simba can not have a “servent” who can not be in the sunlight. This kingdom is practically made of light, so your curse isn’t going to be much help around here.” Mrithun told Turei as he then began to think. “But hey, would you like to be a normal person again? Curse free and all and able to walk in the sun once again?” Mrithun asked him knowing of a way to help him out.

Suddenly where Tetch was, Mr. Ursula appeared behind Tetch and gave a wicked smile at him. “So I take it you couldn’t do it? Meaning you failed the deal, meaning your crew and ship shall belong to me. Such a shame to put something you hold dear on the line to break a curse upon yourself.” Mr. Ursula said with a wicked laugh. He then looked at Tetch, “Well, anything left to say before the consequence hits? Any final remarks?” Mr. Ursula said as he gave one last chance for Tetch to say something before the deal would be finished forever.

There was a rustling sound coming from the closet. A few moments later, Turei voice said to him," Yes, I would. But, the curse said I would remain like this for all time. How can you lift it?"

Tetch turned towards Ursula and said with a snarl," You didn't tell me he can turn into a beast! I was so close to catching him, I even managed to kill his blasted bodyguard. Now, all I have to so for it are wounds and a deal that is about to backfire on me." He then let out another scream of anger.

Mrithun was shooked by what he was about to say, “Well, my father is the lord of the dead, so naturally I have some knowledge over life and death and the curses like yours. In fact, I actually happen to have an antidote to your problem, just something I took from my father. It’s yours if you want it, I refuse to use anything myself that my father uses.” Mrithun said revealing he had an antidote that Turei could use, and also revealing that he apparently has some daddy issue as well.

Mr. Ursula looked at Tetch, “Well, sweetie, you never asked, it’s hard to get information from others if we don’t ask for it ourselves.” Mr. Ursula said as he then realized Tetch’s words. “Wait...wait...wait, did you just say you killed The Prince’s bodyguard?” Mr. Ursula asked as he was shocked to find out this information from Tetch.

Tamatoa let out a louder annoyed chitter, "Well let me clear a few things up for you because I don't really do the whole good and evil thing, i'm more of a neutral kinda guy babe. Also I don't care about light and dark I care about beauty on the outside and gold is beautiful, or maybe you didn't listen to the song? I don't really want to see the world shrouded in some gloomy darkness but from what i've experienced, heroes break one of your legs and then keep going on adventures after and get themselves in trouble but come back and- you get the picture." Tamatoa huffed and rolled his eyes. But he recalled the offering of a bigger reward "Buuuut I would like to hear of this... bigger reward." The monster's tone changed quickly.

Genie shrugged, "Hey, this is how adventure's get started." he broke the fourth wall briefly before jumping into the painting as well. "Heart card door, got it." Genie said as he quickly flew past each door and braked doubling back. "Found it!" He pointed at the heart shaped door "Y'know I thought we'd be going down a rabbit hole to get here." He grinned and looked back at the others, gesturing to the door. "So are we going to the Kingdom of Hearts or what?"

Turei's hand suddenly came out of the closet, palm forward. He then said to Mrithun," Give me the antidote, please." As his hand stuck out, you can practically smell the hand burning from the sunlight that was pelting it.

Tetch nodded and said," That's right, some lubber called Galva or something tried to hinder me in me quest to capture the prince. But, he was hit in the head by one of me cannonballs and sent flying out of the castle." Tetch then grinned to himself, remembering the some-what funny send off Galva had.

Rapunzel stopped and looked over her shoulder. Turning her body slowly she smiled uneasily. "I uhm. I heard.. of some rumours that. Peeked my interest." She took one step forward and then eyed the others as she took a few more steps. Finding her courage slowly she began to walk over closing the huge distance. This room was huge.

Rapunzel went to fiddle with her hair only to find once more there still wasnt much to work with. She fiddled with her cloak instead. "You see. A very...very good friend of mine..has gone missing." She wanted to believe Gothel to be dead but with a world such as theirs. There was no easy way out. "I had heard whispers about you searching for a group to go against the bad guys. " she felt determination. "I want in." Her eyes stung of tears. She hadn't had time to be angry or sad. "I will not slow you down. I want you to know that if you do not take me seriously I will find him myself. Eugene doesnt just run off. He wouldnt. Not with all we went through. Something bad happened. And I can't let that happen to him."
