Lucy had been quietly sitting in the car listening to her siblings converse when Sinead turned to her and asked her if she was okay. She was, but she was finding herself missing James already. The hours she had spent with him the other day were the happiest moments of her life. She was just worried that one mistake could take that all away from her, could take him away from her. Her chest tightened with anxiety and she turned to look at her sister, speechless as to how to explain her hand injury. “Its just extra wrapping for my wrists” She said and pointed to the bandages that still covered her delicate wrists. “And I’m alright Sin, I was just thinking about the last time we all hung out like this….” Carrick then asked what the purpose of this outing was and she gave him a small almost sad smile.

“Well with everything that has been going on, I thought we could all use an escape from the lives that we live.” She shrugged her shoulders lightly. “I just don’t like seeing the family business take such a heavy toll on you all and it hurts me when you can’t go out and enjoy yourselves without having to worry about the next asshole with a gun to come along.” She huffed slightly and looked out the window again. That’s when she saw the said fireworks that James was going to be setting off. Her eyes widened and gasped slightly but tried to keep things calm.

After a moment she looked away and a small smile played on her lips, she hoped that James had gotten out safe and unharmed and was glad that he had finished what he had set out to do. “Windsor’s Club outside of the city is having live music tonight and I was thinking that it would be fun for all of us to catch up and dance and drink.” Her eyes watched the outside pass by once more. “We are nearly there..”

After another 10 minutes of driving, they had arrived safely at the club. Luckily, Lucy had called in and reserved a table for them in the back, having a hunch that they club would be ridiculously packed. The tables in the back and elevated on platforms, they each had red velvet curtains that could close if a group wanted some sort of privacy and it was only for exclusives, so it was a bit less crowded then the main floor area.

“Thank Adam.” Lucy smiled at the tall blonde male who had led them to their table. She had been here a few times before and had gotten to know some of the staff by name. “Anytime, Lucy.” The male gave her a dimpled smile before taking his leave.

“Well here we are loves! Drinks are on me tonight so don’t even think about trying to pay!”

Leo appeared to be alone this evening. Athena assumed he would be a bit of a social butterfly and have a group of friends. But it looked like he was alone today. Nevertheless, she and Nai would hang out with him.
Athena watched as Kanai interacted with Leo. The boy seemed to be curious as he talked to the man. She looked to Leo, "I'm doing alright. How about you?" Athena spoke.

Kanai observed as Athena and this man who apparently was called Leo conversed. His gaze focused on the man speaking to him. "What brings you out the bar?" was the question posed to him. Kanai poked Athena, "Athena's buying me my favorite food." Nai spoke, a small grin plastered on the little guy's face, revealing his dimples.

"It's awful what those people did to you," Sinead said, looking to Lucy's covered wrists. She did know the full story about what had happened and who exactly had hurt her family, but she knew it was at that monster's, Vinnie's, command. Dead wife or not, Sinead had seen him in action before he lost Gianna and he wasn't very nice back then either. She sighed as Lucy explained why she'd brought them all out. She felt like anything her family did together now was meant as a distraction from everything else. Nothing felt natural anymore, as far as family time went. With Carrick and Shannon always being so off with her, Emmet being so absent and even Conor pretending to be okay, Sinead didn't feel like part of the same family anymore. She always figured it was because she'd tried to start her own life and that seemed to offend some of them.

Sinead was snapped out of her thoughts when she saw the fireworks. "Oh, how pretty," she softly noted, her eyes now fixed on the display. Due to the distance they were from the explosions, the loud banging sounds that followed the sparkles just seemed to fit in with the noises they'd associate with fireworks. "Live music? That's me sold," she enthused.

*****

Sinead didn't give the car much time to stop before she jumped out into the fresh air and looked around at the place. As the four of them entered the building, Conor kept himself closely behind his two sisters, looking around at the people who were already in the place. He knew his sisters went out quite often without him around, but he was here tonight so he was going to make sure no wasters started pestering the ladies. Sinead smiled as they were taken to the private table Lucy had booked for them - she loved it. Sinead sat next to Lucy and facing Conor, so Conor and Carrick could sit next to each other. And so Carrick didn't have to be next to or opposite her.

When Adam had walked away, Sinead looked to her sister and grinned. "Anytime, Lucy," she copied the blonde man. "You two would look so good together," she teased her sister.

"Free drinks?" Conor asked, not concerned about this Adam guy. "Then I am glad I agreed to join you!"

"I'm having cocktails, though. None of those strong paintstripper drinks some of you guys drink," she said, referring the the spirits Lucy and James would go for.

Leo looked to Athena and smiled. "I'm pretty good," he told her. Now wasn't the time and Athena wasn't the right person for him to start spilling about the problems he was having with his father. The worries he had about the work the older man was always doing for Vinnie. "How's the book going?" he curiously asked her.

Leo looked to Kanai and grinned as the boy told him Athena was buying him some food. "There's few things better than free food. Never turn down free food," he joked with the kid. "So, are you two related or something?" he asked, knowing very little about Athena's family and circumstances.

Angel was already halfway through the city when he heard it. As he drove through down town, he was able to see a fireball launch from the earth, just behind a couple of buildings. The rumbled caused papers and charms to slide about Angel's dashboard, slamming against the doors and windows. "You've gotta be fuckin'..." Angel stepped on the gas, excelling him through the red light. His actions were met with a crowd of honks and shouts, but they were soon distant calls as he darted in and out of traffic. "Ya'll had one job! One job!" He muttered and hissed under his breath, as he gripped the steering wheel like the traquia of one of the guards he was hoping he would get the chance to strangle. He pulled up to the scene, which was now a smoldering reckage. Ignited debris laid about the concerte, circling around ground zero. It had looked as if an asteroid had collided with a parking lot. Angel got out of the car, stepping to the scene. Corpses laid strewed about the permitter, most reduced to a charcoled clomp of flesh. "God dammit!" Angel shouted, punting one of the remaining bomb shells across the concrete field.

After his conversation with Angel, Vinnie walked back into the main area of his house and found Isaac, pulling the young man to one side. "Isaac, I'm glad you could make it. I have a job for you with which you will need a functional car with storage space, a firearm and a constant awareness of your surroundings. Have you got those?" he casually asked. "I need you to drive over to Navy Pier and park the car a short distance opposite the Ferris wheel. When you get out of the car, you walk towards the Ferris wheel and you'll see a man by the hotdog stand. Black suit, gold tie and a newspaper in his hand. That'll be Sandro Davide - I need you to cover his ass and do whatever he tells you. Okay? He'll be exchanging cash for goods, no matter what happens, those goods need to end up in the trunk of your vehicle and back at my place by the end of the night. Are we clear?" he asked, his voice firm but a trusting smile on his face.

Once he had done arranging things with Isaac, Vinnie headed to Aces Casino with three of his men in the vehicle with him. When he arrived at the casino, he let the gang members go off and gamble, though that was their cover whilst they, and four others, were on standby should anything go wrong. Vinnie found himself a spot standing at the bar and ordered a scotch whilst he waited for Fortuna and Angel to join him for their meeting with the manager, Mr Dawson. He also expected Michael to remain outside the meeting room, so he could guard the hallway.

As Vinnie scanned the floor of the casino, his eyes landed on a group of six well-dressed men. One of them was Albert Francis, a close ally of Mr Dawson's who would certainly have issue with the Romanos taking over the place. Vinnie didn't trust that man one bit and was certain he would cause trouble regardless of how the Romanos acquire the business. In that moment, Vinnie was deciding if he would let Angel kill Albert to help persuade Dawson. He was already aware Albert had invited himself to this evening's meeting and Angel was growing restless through lack of real action, so it would work out nicely. Catching Abert's eye, Vinnie gave him a wave and a somehow sincere-looking smile. Yes, he wanted to see that man dead tonight.

Lucy rolled her eyes at her sister mimicking Adam as he left. Informing her that they would look so good together. The thought actually repulsed Lucy more than intrigued her. She couldn't imagine herself being with anyone else beside James, although they had only been together for a short time. She wasn't getting any younger and she wanted to get a start on her life when it became available. She could see the beginning of it starting with James. So in response to her sisters observations she smiled and politely said. "Adam? Oh no he is definitely not my type, but a good looking fellow." She shrugged her shoulders before they all squeezed into the private table.

Smiling, she once again rolled her eyes. "I don't know how you can drink that shit Sin, its like cough syrup." She laughed before smiling over at Conor. "I'm glad you all came along as well, it means a lot to me." Lucy then waited for someone to come over before placing the orders. She knew what every one of her siblings liked and order a good amount of drinks to get them started. Lucy went straight for the whiskey and smiled at her sister. "Oh come on Sinny have one whiskey, it won't kill you ya know."

Conor watched Lucy as she responded to Sinead's teasing. As they sat down, he grinned in Lucy's direction. "She clearly doesn't fancy him, Sinead. In fact, I'm certain Lucy already has her eyes on someone else. I can tell," he commented, looking Lucy in the eyes to gauge her response. He'd seen something in her expression when the subject of Adam came up, like there was someone but Sinead was completely wrong about who. "He must be a special guy," he added. Conor might make it sound like he knew something, but he was mostly playing, to see if she would admit to anything.

"I just don't think you've found the right cocktail for you yet, Lucy. Besides, maybe I secretly like the taste of cough syrup," Sinead remarked to her sister. When the drinks arrived, Sinead listened to her sister tell her to have a whiskey. Feeling like she was being challenged, Sinead took a glass and poured a small amount of the spirit into it. She then took a sip and swallowed it, before puling a disgusted face. "Nope. It's still disgusting. You're crazy if you think that tastes nice," she protested. Sinead reached for her cocktail and sucked it through the straw, hoping to wash the bad taste from her mouth.

Lucy's cheeks turned red for a moment as her brother seemed to see right through her. Her eyes narrowed playfully but she stayed silent. Secretly agreeing with Conor that the man she was seeing was special, someone she held very dear to her heart, even before they began dating. Her brother was pretty smart and she wondered if he actually knew who she fancied. Sinead tried her whiskey and Lucy giggled at the look on her face. "How can you not love the taste of that?" She asked her little sister before taking a sip for herself and sighing happily.

"So brother, if you can tell that I don't fancy Adam, I would love to hear who you think I fancy." She challenged her brother playfully, one eyebrow raised in a intimidating way. She was playing with him and wouldn't hold it against him if he couldn't guess. But if he did, maybe it would be easier for her to explain to him and her siblings. After all, James was apart of their everyday lives as well. Surely seeing them together would effect them in some sort of way. She just hoped for the better.

And she hoped that this would encourage them all to socialize and find their own partners. Lucy wanted to start the settling down process and she was slowly starting to do that. Not that she expected things to start and happen right away. But maybe, she would be able to save this family without having anyone killed or injured.

Conor quite liked that Lucy seemed to want to play along with his game - if anything, it was helping to take his mind away from his own thoughts. He casually sat back in his seat and took a drink from his pint of beer. He wondered if the fact she wanted to hear who he thought she fancied meant it was someone they actually both knew. As he placed the glass back on the table, he began thinking over the people he knew she'd been around lately. He wasn't sure why, but he was certain it wasn't David. He leaned forward with his arms folded on the table and teasingly smiled at Lucy. "Well, if I were a betting man and this guy is someone we both know... I'd put my money on it being James," he told her. Before he had chance to explain his reasoning, Sinead interrupted him.

Sinead had to quickly swallow her drink to stop herself from spitting it out. "Oh my God. Seriously, Conor?" she asked, giggling at the thought. "Are we talking about the same James? Serious, quiet, moody and not the slightest bit flirty? Ding dong - try again!" she said, still grinning.

Carrick had been quiet the whole time when they arrived, preferring to hear the conversation between Conor and Lucy, heck even Sinead, but when they started to talk about who Lucy fancy, he decided to stare at the drink that she had gotten. Why was he starring at it? Well the answer was simple, he never drank any alcohol beverage before and was half tempted to take it away from her, actually ignoring the drink she ordered for him, mostly because he wasn't sure what it was. When Lucy had asked Conor if he knew who she fancy, he decided to answer while keeping his eyesight on the whiskey. "Is it James?" He questioned with a slight confusion in his voice. Why would he say James? Well besides Conor, Emmett, Luca and Adam, James was the closest to her age so it was the first name that came into his head.

Lucy was intrigued by what her brother had to say. But when both brothers said James' name. She really didn't know how to respond. The warmth on her cheeks grew and she quickly brought the glass to her lips. Trying to avoid eye contact. But then Sinead started to say that James was boring and Lucy couldn't help the words that came out of her mouth. "He is not all boring Sinead." And as soon as she felt her sisters eyes on her, she couldn't help but smile widely and tried to hide her face in her shaw. Even talking about him made her smile wider than she normally would.

Without giving them a yes or a no, she was sure they could definitely figure it out now and she brought her drink to her lips before downing the whole thing within a second or two. Her nerves were going crazy for some reason. James meant a lot to her, and although her siblings were familiar with him and even friends. She was sure that it would be different when their sister was dating the man. James could be considered dangerous to some degree, but she would never think about him trying to hurt her. She didn't think it was possible.

Carrick had to nod at Lucy when she said that James wasn't boring. "I would agree with Lucy, he can be really interesting when it comes to knowing everything about cars and how to fix them." After all, he was someone that was learning a lot from James, Cars where the best thing to know a lot about, heck, he wouldn't even need someone to go pick him if his knew how to really fix it. "You shouldn't open your mouth like that Sinead, it doesn't do good when you criticize someone because you only seen the outside." He told her with a glare going her way. He sighed making the decision to steal Conor beer and drink it in one go.

"Ah, so it is James," Conor said, watching how flustered Lucy suddenly appeared. Seeing he and Carrick had both guessed it right, Conor looked to Sinead and stuck his tongue out. "Ding dong, my ass. I thought you girls were supposed to gossip about boys all the time. Pay attention, Tinkerbell," he teased her, flinching as his little sister kicked his leg.

"No, Lucy he's not boring," Sinead said, hoping she hadn't offended her sister. "I just know how committed he is to his work and I didn't realise you both talked all that much. Honestly, James is a nice guy and he's always looking out for us." Sinead grinned at her sister and was about to ask when she was going to tell James she fancied him, but she fell silent when she thought about what Carrick had said to her. She wasn't crticising James, but that's how they all seemed to perceive it. She had merely been trying to explain how she didn't think James was into relationships due to how committed he was to the job. She frowned and grabbed her drink so she could focus on that rather than the others at the table.

Conor looked to the table as he thought over the idea of Lucy and James together. He got along well with the older man and he knew he could be trusted with his sister. He was about to warn her against letting James lead her into danger when he recalled how often James had saved his own ass. Often his drunken ass. He was in no position to judge anyone's choice of love interest, not after what Lucy now knew about him and Alex. "There'd be no arguments from me if you two did get together. James is a good man and I trust him. You could be good for each other. Just don't get involved in any of his jobs or anything like that, please!"

Lucy didn't miss the look Carrick gave Sinead and she was about to comment on it but when she looked at her sister she frowned. "Oh Sinny its okay love, I'm not upset with you. I would understand that it is a bit surprising, I'm surprised by him every day." She told her sister and leaned in to kiss her temple lightly. Lucy also didn't miss Carrick stealing Conor's beer, she wasn't about to harp on him though. The kid was curious just like all of them had been, he would learn his lesson soon enough.

"And I hate to say this but we've been officially together for a little bit now..." She gave a nervous laugh and bit her lip, hoping her siblings wouldn't be upset at her for not telling them all. "And I will certainly not be involved in any of his jobs, not after what happened last time." she informed Conor with a small smile. "I think i've had enough of that excitement for one life time." Grabbing another drink, she took a sip lightly.

Sinead sighed as Lucy kissed her head and explained she wasn't upset with her. She nodded her head before looking back into her glass again. Though she could see how much Lucy had tried to reassure her, she couldn't help but feel bad now, like she'd come across ungrateful for the things James had done. Even though most of her family didn't mean to, they often ended up making her feel like a child or guilty for choosing her own path. There was one person who she could be herself around, who didn't make her feel bad and who did treat her like an adult, but they'd never accept him.

Conor couldn't help but grin when Lucy said she and James had already been together for some time now. "You sneaky devil," he joked. "Seriously, if you two are happy then I'm happy for you. I think he'll do good by you, Lucy. He's a good man. If you need backup when you tell mum an dad, I'll stick up for you," he remarked, knowing his parents could be more difficult to convince seeing how protective they were over their four kids. Conor looked for his drink but was surprised to find he didn't have one. He didn't draw attention to it, putting it down to his ongoing injuries and not wanting to make them concerned about his mind. Instead, he ordered himself another pint of beer.

Lucy was concerned for her sister as her reassurance seemed to go without much change in her. Lucy kept her arm wrapped around her sister's shoulders lightly as she listened to Conor. Laughing, she gave him a big smile before taking another drink. "Takes one to know one." She responded with but hoped he knew that she didn't mean anything by it.Choosing not to tell them that mother already knew because she had walked in on them. "If you haven't noticed, we seem to get that trait from our father who is out doing who knows what." She sighed slightly, acknowledging that she missed her pops more than she would let on. "And I am becoming mother every single day." She added on teasingly. The drink she held was soon gone and she was already starting to feel a bit light headed.

Something wasn't feeling right though, she felt as though something had happened...or quite possibly would happen. Her eyes scanned the area lightly and she tried to focus in on people's faces. Lucy knew that their driver for the evening would be looking out for them if they needed help, but it was a bit nerve racking not having James around. After a surveillance of the area, she turned back to her siblings at the table and smiled at Sinead, who was far too quiet for her liking. "Oh Sinny Bun cheer up love! What about you, someone has to be chasing after you." She winked.

Conor nodded in response to Lucy's remark. "Oh yeah, we're just a sneaky kind of family," he half-joked. Regardless of whatever each member found to be sneaky about, he always trusted they would never do anything to harm each other. The environment their family lived in forced them to have to hide things, he just hoped they were all sensible enough not to hide anything that could put themselves in danger. He supposed that was part of why Lucy was upset about him and Alex - she could see how the relationship could be dangerous for him. He supposed it had already proved dangerous, but that was only because Angel had blackmailed Alex into leading him into danger. "You're a great second mum," Conor told Lucy as he grinned. He didn't comment on Emmet, but he did miss his father's presence a great deal.

Someone who probably missed their father the most was Sinead. She had always been closest to her dad out of all the siblings and she missed him, even when he was physically present he didn't seem to be there in spirit, these days. When Lucy told her to cheer up and suggested someone was chasing after her, Sinead shrugged her shoulders. She was no good at lying, not explicitly and to someone's face. "I've been on some dates, but nothing worth reporting on yet," she told her. It was true, she'd had dates, but there was no official relationship to report on. "Nobody chases me, Lucy. They'll get run down by one of my babysitters before they even catch up," she remarked.

"Rightly so," Conor agreed, not liking the idea of random fools trying to woo his sisters. He glanced to Carrick to see how he was getting on, before looking back towards Lucy. "Are you okay?" he asked her, having noticed she'd been scanning the area a little while ago.

Lucy frowned once more at her sister's responses, she forgot that her sister was so very sensitive to certain things. Being left out was something she expressed distaste for constantly. Did she feel like she was left out of the loop? She wasn't sure what more she could do to tell her sister that she was just as much apart of this family as everyone else. "Oh Sin, don't be so down love. We only try to protect you ya know, you are the prettiest out of all of us and as such need to be preserved." She winked and took another sip of her drink. That's when Conor turned to her asking if she was okay.

Lucy nodded her head quickly. "Oh fine, just felt a little off for a second." she shrugged her shoulders. "I just think I need to loosen up a bit more hmm?" Taking another long drink, she emptied her second glass but made no attempt for the third one. For whatever reason, Lucy was on edge and when her gut told her to be cautious she listened to it, for it had never steered her wrong before. "

"My apologies for the wait, sir." The words easily flowed from Fortuna's wine red painted lips as she fell into step beside him, offering Vinnie a sincere smile. Well, as sincere as it was going to get, especially coming from someone like her. "It seems that I nearly lost track of time."

The hitwoman wore a stylish, deep red pencil dress with a matching cape draped over her shoulders, accompanied by a pair of black evening gloves and pencil heels. In her hands, in the meanwhile, was a classy red and black handbag. As always, her clothing was fashionable and sophisticated. It was one of the few constants in her life.

"That's good to hear." Athena muse, catching his kind smile. She heard as he asked her about the book she mentioned the other night.
"Oh, it's going pretty good. I think I have about eight pages left." she replied with a sweet smile showing up on her face.
Leo then conversed with the small boy on never turning down free food. She chuckled. Just at the mention of it, the food and her coke came.
"Well, looks like the food's here." Athena told Kanai. The boy sat up as the bartender set the food on the counter.
"Thank you." Kanai spoke to the bartender. He then took a bite of one of the bread-sticks that came with every order.
Thena turned her head as Leo asked if Kanai and herself were related.
"Oh, no. I'm an only child. " Athena replied. Did the two share similar traits?
Athena took a sip of her coke, glancing at Kanai.
"Kanai's just my little buddy." Athena smiled, playfully nudging the boy.

Kanai took a glance at his root-beer float. He scrunched his nose, "Why did you get a small?" he whined. Athena rolled her eyes, "Because I don't want you to get a sugar rush mister." Athena replied.
"Yeah, okay." he mumbled, before he took a sip of the dessert drink. If anyone looked at the two, one would think they were brother and sister. Kanai looked up as he heard Leo ask them if they were possibly related. He glanced at Athena, letting her answer the question. Nai was an only child before the incident with his family and the boy always yearned for a sibling. Kanai playfully pulled a curl from her puff, watching it boing. "She acts like she's my sister though." Nai stated.

Vinnie turned to the source of the familiar voice and smiled as he saw Fortuna dressed as stylish as always, without fail. "That's no problem, Fortuna. We're a little early for the meeting just yet and I'm waiting for Angel to arrive. "Now, can I get you a drink?" he offered. "Something tells me this won't be a quick handover, so you'll likely be feeling thirsty by the time we're done."

Vinnie stubbed out his cigar in the ashtray as he glanced towards Albert Francis. He then looked back to Fortuna. "I believe Albert will be joining Mr Dawson for the meeting. I'm getting the intense feeling that this will be Albert's last meeting," he noted. Albert wasn't looking very amused, which told Vinnie he wasn't going to be at all happy with the proposal.

Sinead looked to Lucy and raised an accusing eyebrow. "Well that's not right. I think you'll find you're the prettiest, Lucy. You're stunning," she told her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She then shook her head and laughed. "Preserved? You're funny," she said, blushing a little. "If you'll all excuse me, I need to use the bathroom." she told them, having already scoped out the restrooms. She got up out of her seat and rushed away. Honestly, she needed a few minutes alone, to pick herself back up so she could put on a happy face when she returned and try to not let Carrick get to her again.

Conor listened as Lucy suggested she needed to loosen up more. As she emptied her glass, he grinned and reached out for the bottle, pouring some more liquor into her glass. "Come on, you've got catching up to do," he told her. "We're away from the cesspits of the city and everyone here looks like they're just having fun. I haven't seen anything to be concerned about," he reassured his sister. "Relax. Otherwise, when Sinead gets back I'm going to tell her you want to dance and then she'll nag you until you do dance with her!" Now that Lucy had raised her concerns, it had made Conor feel a little cautious himself, so he was now finding himself scanning the place with his eyes before looking back to Lucy and sending her a smile..

As Sinead walked back from using the restroom, she noticed a man, appearing to be in the thirties, walking alongside her. She tried to ignore him, but then he began speaking to her. "What's your name? I've seen you before. You play piano at the Lakeside, don't you?" he asked her, holding his hand out in front to signal for her to stop walking. "Dance with me, Beautiful," he told her. It certainly didn't sound like a request.

"No, thank you," Sinead said and brushing past him, heading back towards her table. As the man continued to follow her, she felt him place his hand low down on her back, almost touching her backside. Instinctively, Sinead whipped around and slapped the man hard across the cheek. "I SAID NO!" she snapped, her voice raised a little, loud enough for her siblings to hear if they hadn't already seen the altercation. "Now stay away," she firmly added. She turned to continue walking back to her table and it seemed like he wasn't going to follow her now...

"Only eight pages? I admire your commitment to coming out this evening, then. I don't think I could have left the house until I'd finished those eight pages," Leo lightly told her. He caught her smile and couldn't help but notice how sweet it was. After speaking to his father today, he needed to see a happy face. He watched on as Kanai's food was handed to him and he complained to Athena about the small drink. He nodded his head and laughed as Kanai confirmed she wasn't his sister but acted like it.

"No, I don't have any siblings, though I always wanted some. My mother died when I was a little kid, so it was always pretty much just dad and me," he answered Athena. "Vinnie has always been pretty good to me, sometimes better than my own dad," he added. "You probably know all about that, though. Vinnie and his kids have been good to you, haven't they?"

"Oh, I see." Fortuna nodded her head upon hearing Vinnie's words, casting a quick, discreet glance towards Albert herself. "Well, I suppose I'll have to take you up on your offer, but just a virgin White Lady would be fine for now, sir." A favorite non-alcoholic beverage of hers, all you had to do was add elderflower cordial and grapefruit juice into the classic combination of lemon juice, egg white, and sugar syrup. It was a virgin twist that stayed true to the elegant original drink, while the elderflower and grapefruit created a delicate, balanced flavour pairing befitting of her tastes.

Sinead complimented her and kissed her on the cheek, making Lucy blush again. Her sister always thought that out of the two of them Lucy was the prettiest. Looks were nothing compared to the beautiful personality that Sinead had. She knew how to make everyone in a room just stop and think. She knew how to make everyone in a room smile. She was a perfect little doll. Lucy didn't say anything more however, knowing that her sister would argue with her until the cows came home about who was prettier. Soon after she excused herself to use the restroom and Lucy wondered if she should escort her. Not trusting anything anymore. But Sinead left without another word and Conor was pouring another drink into her glass.

He told her to relax and that there was nothing to worry about. She nodded at her brother's words, a soft smile forming on her lips. "Oh alright." she murmured and took another sip of her drink. Lucy began to loosen up slowly, talking with her two brothers about what was going on in their lives and actively enjoying the company when her terrible feelings she had been having became a reality.

Her stomach dropped as she heard her sisters cry well above the rest of the already noisy crowds. "Sin?" She questioned and looked out to see her little sister desperately trying to get away from a man. Narrowing her eyes, Lucy was out of her seat quickly and walking towards her sister. The man had hesitated to follow after her sister spoke again but followed behind her sneakily, reaching out his hand to grab her again. "Excuse me!" Lucy reached out her own hand and quickly smacked the mans hand back," but I believe the lady would like to be left alone. Take the hint!" Grabbing her sisters, arm gently she pulled it, signaling her to get behind. Lucy was not the type of person to let a man harass a woman in any kind of way.

The man only seemed to ignore her though as he came closer, clearly he was drunk, she could tell by the way he walked. He looked like he was aboard a ship and the waves were rocking it back and forth. "Look sir, we don't want any trouble but my sister said no." Lucy looked back towards Conor and hoped that he was on his way over to back up the statement. Sure Lucy had seen some shit and murdered a person, but this man was about 2x bigger than both Sinead and her...

Sinead was glad when she saw Lucy approaching her, but shocked to find the man still wasn't getting the message. She cringed and then followed Lucy's signal to get behind her. Her hand was still stinging from the hard slap she gave him, but she ignored it as she was worried her sister could get hurt. "Please, just go back to wherever you came from. We're trying to enjoy our night and you should respect that I said no to you!" she told him. He was big and drunk, so that concerned her. She placed her hand on Lucy's arm, hoping they could just walk away now.

"I was trying to be nice and the skinny bitch slapped me," the man told Lucy, slurring his words as she took a step closer.

Due to his continued headaches and dizziness, Conor was finding himself having block out the background noise to focus in on the conversation with his siblings. He hadn't heard Sinead's original shouting and figured Lucy had just got up to find her. When he did look to see the large drunk man hassling his sisters, he set his pint down and got up from his seat. "Shit, Carrick," he mumbled. He wasn't completely himself, but he was sure he could still easily take the guy. He arrived just in time to hear the man call Sinead a skinny bitch and that alone was not okay. The guy was clearly drunk, but that didn't excuse his actions one bit. Conor was often drunk and it never caused to to attack a woman.

"That's no way to speak to a lady," Conor began, his voice commanding but controlled. He outstretched his arm in front of Lucy, motioning for his sisters to step back, further away from the drunk man. Conor then stepped so he was between them. "Apologise for being disrespectful and upsetting these two ladies," he ordered, squaring up to the man to find they were of similar size. When the man shook his head and laughed, Conor began to see red. Drunk or not, there was only one way to deal with someone like this. Conor pulled his arm back before slamming his fist into the man's jaw and then pushing the unsteady man down onto the floor. Conor blocked out the pain these actions sent through his body which was still recovering from the previous week. Nothing made him more determined than the need to defend his sisters. He hoped the guy was going to stay down as he already felt bad about hitting the man in front of Lucy and Sinead. As much as the guy deserved it, he wasn't fond of being violent around his sisters.

"I usually finish but I thought I'd take you up on that offer. Plus, my mother says I should get out more." Athena spoke, with a playful roll of her eyes.

"Athena, una ragazza come te non dovrebbe essere cooped in casa tutta la giornata. Incontra un ragazzo o qualcosa del genere!" Thena voiced, imitating her mother and giggling at the last bit.

Thena looked to Leo as he answered her question of siblings. Surprisingly, his little family story was strikingly similar to hers. Athena nodded, "Yeah they're great. Vinnie and Gia always looked out for me. But they kinda took me and my mother in when my father passed. " She voiced softly.
"They're like family." Athena spoke with a slight smile.

Kanai was eating slowly as the two were talking. Nai often didn't like talking about the topic of family as he had none left.
However, he tried not to think about as he turned to watch the latest performer.
