  • Aoba Hitokiri

Aoba was taken back by such unexpected words coming from the girl's mouth. She had no idea where this girl had been through and felt sorry. She lost her mother to a mage, but Aoba lost hers to the M.E.U. Yet, she did not feel any resent to them as told by her mother. "...I..." Aoba felt lost. If only she were there to save this girl's mother, she wouldn't lash out on her. The girl proceeded to walk away, but Aoba won't allow her to feel that. "Wait!" She yelled before she goes after the girl.

Once she has caught up to her, she places her hand onto her shoulder and say "Hear me out, I may have no idea where you've been through but I could not let you go with tears flowing from your eyes. I too lost my mother, but before she passes away, she tells me to forgive them. No matter what kind of person he may be, good or bad, you cannot call yourself a good person if you don't know how to forgive. I'm sure that there is a reason why your mother's killer has done such a crime. If you keep this up, you're mother may not be happy."

Gideon smiled as he read the paper. "Yes, that would be a splendid idea. I'm sure everyone there would love to have some of my wife's home made cookies as well." He winked at the young girl before he was waved over by Ethan. He nodded briefly before standing to talk to him. The uneventful report was more worrying to him then reassuring. He had heard of assassins becoming more active as of recently... made even worse with the people at Colassi Tower still not being able to manage the situations involving Magus. He nodded at the scout, before looking at his grandmaster to see what his response was. He was sure that the late of news troubled Isaac as well... though maybe not as much as it did the peacekeeper.

Lily noticed the poster that was on the nearby tavern. She was still acting innocent due to the MEU soldier escorting her to get some food... but her devious mind was already calculating how to get the desperate mercenary to help her. Using a small bit of her magic, she sent her bodyguard a bit of a... motivation to have a few drinks. After her scent made him sit down and purchase a beer, Lily snuck out of the tavern and went looking for the man on the poster. She need to get back to Magus to give her fearless "leader" some info about Colassi Tower's current movements... but she didn't want anyone thinking that she was going alone of course. Not like anyone would be inclined to believe she was a mage if she were to be kidnapped. The plan would work out... should the mercenaries advertisement was to be valid.

Ashitaka - A Local Tavern

The old swordsman returned to his drink, taking a seat at the bar. He had a surprising tolerance for alcohol, which happened to be both a skill and a great conversation starter. Not that he started very many conversations. The minutes ticked by, and Ashitaka weighed his options, or more accurately, the lack thereof. The fact of the matter was that he had no money, and currently had no way of getting more. Maybe he really would have to work for the M.E.U. Did he really have a choice? Could he really afford not to?

Then again, this was far from the first time he had had financial trouble. Time and time again, people tried to choke him of his money, and time and time again that had either failed spectacularly, or he had gotten even, one way or another. This was similar, only all debts he had to pay had been paid. This time, he wanted to get his money from the people who needed a little more... persuasion. Who to start with? Maybe it was time to bust out the list again.

BakaTheIdiot BakaTheIdiot

"Mister?" The old mercenary heard behind him. "Are... are you Ashitaka?" The person asking the question was a young maiden with short blonde hair wearing a large colorful dress. She seemed to be shy and kindhearted as she covered her face innocently. "I saw your poster... It said you could help me. I know that my father would pay you if you helped me." She asked him... her motives hidden behind her cute exterior. Lily knew that she looked like she was still a small girl, so she took advantage of that fact to avoid detection from the MEU commanders she lived with constantly.

As she stood by the mercenary, her bodyguard walked into tavern with a panicked look. "Lady Bravfar! You shouldn't be walking the streets by yourself. It's dangerous... especially around here."

She gave him a sad look as the soldier tried to take her out of the tavern. "But I want to talk to Mister Ashitaka..." She pouted. She contemplated using her magic again... but there were too many people and sending out her magical scent could cause more chaos then what she would need. So, for now, she had to keep up the innocent act until she could get the man alone.

Luckily, the guard gave in to her charm. "Fine, but be quick. Lord Ivan wants you back by sundown."

Ashitaka - Local Tavern

The old mercenary snapped out of his trance, and turned to face the person behind him. Well, person was a bit of an overstatement. She didn't look a day over 10, and that was concerning. As such, he said the same thing any rationally sober and aware person would say in his place:

"Aren't you a bit young to be in a tavern?" He asked. Then he took notice of the fact she was asking for help. Finally, a job! Not just that, it might even be an easy one too. He had been grasped by a child, which was equal parts surprising and humiliating. Nevertheless, he continued. "Whatever. Your father better know what he's getting into, because mine is a risky business. What do you want?" He looked the "child" directly in the eyes. It was actually a little known fact that Ashitaka hated children. Especially spoiled children, and especially royalty, which was more or less an extension of spoiled. Still, he kept a poker face, waiting for the request.

BakaTheIdiot BakaTheIdiot

Lily looked at the flooring in front of her. "Could we go... somewhere with less people?" She usually didn't like asking for seclusion... knowing what such a question normally implied in the ears of a man. If she wasn't being watched by her fourth rate idiot of the bodyguard, she would've just dragged the swordsman to one of the inn's rooms. She shyly glanced at the man in charge of keeping her safe. "I-I don't want father knowing..." The words were softer and harder to hear in a crowd of drinkers. She looked up at Ashitaka and hoped that he had heard her well enough that she could possibly convince him without bringing attention to her request.

Ashitaka - Tavern

This was far from an ordinary child, wasn't it? Asking to be alone, with a stranger? She clearly wanted something. He eyed her suspiciously. This was getting more and more demanding by the moment. "Alright." He sighed, setting down his stein and pulling out a couple of pieces to pay. "I'll go with you, but if this is a trap, I'm out. No funny business, got it?" He said in his sharp, commanding voice. He was already in a bad position, and didn't need a little girl ruining it further.

BakaTheIdiot BakaTheIdiot

"Okay, mister." The young girl said in an excited tone. She bobbed and weaved through the crowd to avoid her bodyguard from noticing them leaving. She led him into a small inn and got them a small room to talk in. The innkeeper gave the two of them a skeptical look, but the large pouch filled with gold was enough to make him bat on eye. After getting him into the room, she released a wicked grin as she closed the door slowly. "It's amazing what people will do for the right price."

She spun around to face the mercenary, her face far from innocent and shy now that the guard was gone. "I'll make the job yours to decide, but be warned that you may want to lay low regardless of your decision. I need to get to the mage refuge of Magus... but I can't go there myself since I'm under the care of the ignorant Lord Ivan Brittlethorn. I would normally have a mage from town retrieve me, but the execution made it a bit too difficult to get near the manor. What I need you do is finish the job: Stage my kidnapping and help me get to Magus undetected by Colassi troopers. Ivan may want your head if you do this... but I'm sure Gildal will pay you handsomely for making sure his little informant gets back unharmed."

Ashitaka - A Local Inn

He had fallen for one of the oldest ones in the book. He was equal parts humiliated and impressed that he could be swindled by a kid. "You've got guts, dragging a mercenary into this mage business. I'll give you that. But I do nothing for free." He glared at her. "And I do even less without being paid upfront. You're telling me to blindly follow your orders, risk my neck beyond just bodily harm, commit treason, and just hope that I get paid in the end. What kind of idiot do you think I am? I'm broke, but I prefer being poor to being dead." He was just about to leave when an idea struck him. Maybe this could work out... assuming she was good for it.

"Unless you're willing to pay half a million pieces."

BakaTheIdiot BakaTheIdiot

Lily chuckled at the man, holding up a set of keys. "I can get you a whole lot more with these." She spun the metal circle on her finger in amusement. "Lord Ivan has a secret stash where he keeps much of his fortune away from petty thieves. I just happened to be one of three people in existence that know where the man hides his treasure grove. These keys are what's needed to access it. Given his naive nature, you should be capable of getting at least a third of the gold out of there before he even suspects that an outsider knows of it's location." She had acquired the keys off of his belt prior to leaving for the city... but she knew he would never noticed that they went missing anyway. It was an offer that would be hard to refuse, even if he didn't trust her. She would have the old man under her command regardless. She knew other ways to convince him to do the job.

Elisa text.png

Elisa wasn't exactly expecting to get easy information from her enemy but he seemed to be surprisingly compliant. Although the mage offered little to no information on the whereabouts of her self assigned targets. Although one thing did stick out, that the mages of Magus have also strictly forbidden the use of the dark arts. Elisa pondered over that fact for a good moment, but she didn't forget that they still held formiddable power, dark or not. Gildal served to further strengthen this fact with his little show of making a little fire bird with his magic. Even letting it fly around before it just vanished the moment Gildal was finished. Still Elisa was impressed, or rather enamoured at the display. "I see, even if I didn't get the information I needed I still feel like I've learned a little more about you and your people. But I have spent enough time here as it is... I doubt you'd want me to linger here any longe-" "CAPTAIN!!! There's been an attack in Magus! We have two injured and... Another two were killed..." Elisa looked in surprise at the guards words. She had heard no such thing of Colassi staging an attack on Magus, could it have been an assassin? But even then the M.E.U would never resort to such underhanded methods... Would they? Elisa's first instinct would be to go and investigate but if she ran off now, especially in a town like this. She'd likely draw suspicion.

Though brief, the glare that Gildal gave her spoke far more words then his commands to the soldier. "Put the tower on lock down. No one is allowed in or out of this place until we find this son of a bitch. Make sure there are guards stations at every part of town, ya hear me? And prepare the block... I need to have a word with the citizen before things get bad." He spun his staff in his hand a half cycle. An observant person would notice that the staff had a different, more snake like design on the one end, compared to the dragon like one that had been shown prior. "You wanna see me lead? The window from my chair has a perfect view of the center of town... shouldn't have too much of an issue hearing me."

With his last remark to the princess, Gildal made his way to the town center... where the guards had already prepared a small wooden block for him to stand on. "So... It appears we have ourselves an assassin running amok. Whether it's the bastards at Colassi trying to send a message or a rogue mage looking for payback, I could care less. I've gather you here to remind you who we are and why we still stand strong in this ruined fortress we call home. We banded together against all odds, defeated the impossible, came out victorious against the greatest foe we had ever faced. Why should one second-rate dagger flinger scare us? We've stopped chaos from destroying us! We can do it again!" Gildal raised his staff high into and sky, each and every mages before him doing the same thing with whatever they were carrying. The people of Magus let out a courageous cheer before Gildal continued. "We will not stand for those who try to oppress us! Any who dare challenge are freedom will die as they kill us! There will be no mercy to this assassin! Anyone who encounters them is to do whatever is necessary to kill them and bring them to justice!"

All the Grandmaster could do was sigh as the little girl berated him with her reddened face. Before he could even say a word she stormed off. He saw a girl with green hair chase after her so he assumed that she'd be better company than he'd be at this point. "Soldiers! Make sure you get Daren to tell everything, I won't tolarate any missing links got it?" "Yessir!" The soldiers said as they marched off to assist with the interrogation. If there was any chance that this man harboured the mage that killed this girls mother. The least he could do is avenge her. Even if he doesn't know who did it. Back to business however he made his way to Gideon just as Ethan was presenting his scout report. "You really didn't find anything? That's been a whole month with no activity reported... Troubling..."

Issac pondered for a moment, Gideon had told him about his concerns with rumours spreading, assassins apparently becoming more active as of late. That would explain the sudden string of unreported dead bodies of both M.E.U and Mages turning up. Issac looked to Ethan and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Alright... Good work out there soldier, you've earned yourself a rest. Go get yourself some food and get ready. Tomorrow I want you posted at the Colassi Tower, preparations for the next attack are nearly complete and I want you on the front lines. It won't be easy mind you, this is the first mage haven that managed to drive off an attack from the M.E.U in the past. We grew careless because they were so unorganised, but now they have a leader and are starting to push back. Don't underestimate them." Issac removed his hand from Ethan's shoulder, knowing the lad he'd be unlikely to be intimidated by his warning, rather more motivated to fight them. "Elisa will be your commander in this battle. So when you see her, you'll look as such and not as the Kings daughter."

Issac looked to Gideon now that he'd been briefed on the report. "Ah Gideon... Looks like you saved my ass again. Guess drinks are on me this time..." For the first time today Issac broke out a smirk, now that the soldiers were all away on duty and he was among friends he could finally relax. "In case it wasn't obvious, I really wasn't looking forward to executing that man. I couldn't think straight with all the arguing in the crowds. So thanks." Issac's face returned to it's usual stern look as he continued on. "So what do you think about Ethan's report? If you want my opinion it worries me, any lack of activity can only mean one thing, they're preparing something big. I don't know what but I'm considering sending out a scout to scour Magus undetected and see if he can bring back any information before we launch the attack. Your opinion?" It was at this point Issac only just noticed another little girl still standing close by. His look was frightening at first but his face softened once again before kneeling down. "Sorry I never noticed you there, this is just business between soldiers okay? We'll protect all of our citizens no matter what, including you."

"Yes, sir," he replied, saluting his commanding officer before making his way back to where he had originally placed himself among the crowd of people. However he noticed close to him a strange woman dressed in odd clothing watching the execution or what should have been the execution. Her gaze was locked onto the Grandmaster before immediately turning away silently and walking away. The way she stared at Isaac almost seemed like she saw him as a threat or at least some kind of opponent or obstacle to be overcome. She was definitely at least some kind of suspicious figure, and Ethan knew he couldn't let her get away. He got up from his spot and followed the woman down the streets leading away from the square where the crowd was.

Ethan caught up to her in a few minutes and called out to the stranger, "Hey! You! In the red. What are you doing?"

Gideon let out a sigh as he placed a hand on his friends soldier. "I think it would be best if you didn't talk to her. I've heard that something happened to her in the past... and she's been untrusting of soldiers ever since. I'm amazed that she trusts me... see how close our ranks are old friend. Though, if you want to work on getting her trust... you could help me get some food for the the orphanage on the way to the tavern." The wiseman give Isaac a playful wink as he spoke. "We should get going."

Gideon took the charge to the tavern of choice... knowing that the Grandmaster was never the best at picking the right bar. "I wanted to get away from the crowd before I told you that I am far more concerned of this inactivity then you are. Assassins running amok, Lord Ivan's adopted daughter constantly going missing for weeks at a time, and now they all go silent? Something is definitely going on out there and I'm not sure if that's a good thing." Gideon's expression seemed to fall into a depressed state as he spoke. "I fear this might be an all out war if we're not careful..."

Shortly before the two veterns entered the tavern, a panicked guard ran up to them yelling. "Grandmaster! She's gone! Lily's missing again!"

Elisa text.png

The glare Elisa got from the leader was more than enough to tell that this sudden attack was her fault. This of course was far from the truth, even while she was the one to command the next big assault on Magus, she had no knowledge of any soldiers sneaking in and indiscriminately attacking people. Either a soldier's went rouge or something else is going on. Maybe psychopath revelling in the chaos. Who would know? But now the Saviour of Magus was getting read to do whatever earned him that title in the first place. He already had everything under control, directing his guards with near zero hesitation on their side. Like they were acting out some kind of drill. Then he grabbed his staff and twirled it, suddenly what was before a dragon now looked more like a snake shape. But what purpose does that prove to have she wondered? After hearing him tell Eli what to do she was baffled. "W-wait! I have to stay here!? C-Come back!" This wasn't good... Elisa wasn't planning to tread in enemy territory for this long, now she had to stay even longer? The soldiers at Colassi are probably wondering where she is by now.

Elisa did as she was told for the time being and looked out the window, she couldn't exactly run for it while her sword had been siezed by her now apparent captors. But what she saw was something else. The seemingly careless "Saviour of Magus" suddenly serious and rallying the mages of Magus. He instantly calmed the crowd and encouraged them just like that. "He's like a real commander..." Being the daughter of a King, she had to improve as soon as possible, the enemy having leaders like this... Well she wasn't sure if he was quite like Issac however but that might just be the bias talking. But the speech aside, she was stuck inside Magus now, and it was on full lockdown. If she can't find a way out she could be here for a while. Not to mention that assassin might still be around.

With the civilians going back to there homes and shops with caution in mind, Gildal stepped back into his chamber where Elisa still remained. He collapsed into one of the meeting chairs. "The old guys are going to be on my ass for this. First the Princess shows up to talk and now we've got an assassin looking to cause chaos..." His voice softened as he slowly connected what Elisa had told him prior to her questions. This realization made him laugh for a long minute. "Not supposed to be here eh? Sounds to me like you left without telling anyone. Color me impressed little lady." Gildal gave the warrior maiden a slow clap while holding his dragon staff with his elbow. "Unfortunately, your plans seem to have gone south... so if you want to go home I'm going to need something from you."

Gildal leaned forward in his chair, a wicked grin on his face. The name of the Incinerator with a Smile started to become clear... His grin was hellish when he was planning his next move. "Whether you say so or not... I'm not inclined to believe that Colassi doesn't have some kind of involvement with this assassin. However, I've found that people are more cooperative when... the stakes are high. Now, I could just tie you up and have you place on stage for all of the MEU to see... but there would be no honor in that. Instead, I'm gonna give you a little choice. You help me set up your ransom to get info out of the soldiers in the Colassi Tower and I'll give you up with any further conflict. No scouts, no ambushes, nothing. Just a minimum month long peace as long as they hold up their end of the bargain. Whatcha say Princess?"

Ruby Yang Beifang

Ruby should be away from the site right now, but then she heard someone calling her out. Being the fight-loving idiot she is, rather than turning around and ask, she turns around, grabs the man's head, and slams him down onto the hard pavement accompanied by a loud thump and leaving a large crack. This has brought in the attention of the public.

As soon as she realized what she did, she quickly let's go of the man and says "Oops, sorry. Thought you were some thief or something. No hard feelings right?" She then slides her hands underneath the man's arms and brings him back up on his feet. "So, what is it that you need?" She politely asked.

Honey

Seeing as Gideon wanted to help her with getting groceries, it warmed her heart that he was so thoughtful. This feeling didn't last however as the man on the stage had directed his attention to the two of them. Looking back towards Gideon, he was already occupied with conversation by another M.E.U soldier. As he began to draw nearer Honey kept herself in line, while making it seem like she wasn't glaring at the Grandmaster. Even though she was actually glaring at the older man, she simply hid behind Gideon's pants leg when it came time for him to talk to her. Hearing such hollow words coming out of Issac's mouth, the girl wanted to lash out and slap him.

It made her sick to her stomach, he was a hypocrite. The entire M.E.U. group was a hypocrite full of liars. How could you protect everyone when you are oppressing many of your own citizens? Honey wanted to leave. Seeing as the adults were in deep conversation, the young girl made a silent gesture to Gideon. 'I'll wait for you to be done.' Without a second thought the girl began to walk away from the two conversing soldiers, though she didn't have a place to go in mind. Seeing as the two adults were already leaving, Honey went to wander off by herself. Maybe she should go to the bakery and work some overtime?

There was nothing wrong with earning a few more coins, seeing how they were always busy with customers. It took a little while before Honey arrived at the bakery; opening the door sent familiar smells into her nose. It seemed like fresh bread. Honey was pushing and squeezing her way through the bustling number of customers, until she reached the staff only room. She immediately began to roll up her own sleeves, just as the owner walked into the back with several dough balls. Honey's job consisted of preparing the dough and serving it to the customers. So she was both the prep person and the server in the restaurant.

This was the reason why their bakery was so popular was because of her magic. By using her own healing magic on crops, then processing them into bread they give off a rich, flavorful taste. Of course Honey was very careful not to let the owner, using her power only for dying crops, nor the consumers know that a mage was preparing their food. Just thinking about what happened to Daren was sad, Honey just hoped that the same thing didn't happen to her.

Iris stumbled into Gildal's chamber, hand over her wound as a guard hesitantly tried to stop her. The wound was no longer bleeding thanks to some on-site magical treatment, though it was fairly apparent she hadn't gotten all the necessary treatment quite yet.

"Pardon... my intrusion... I've come to report... on what's happened..." Iris said, the lingering pain of her injury ever-present in her voice. "At the time of being attacked... I hardly recognized the person... but..." Iris began, pausing a moment due to difficulty breathing, raising her hand to signify to wait a moment. After she caught her breath, she returned to her statement. "... After being told the names of the two killed... I know... who did it..."

Iris shakily placed her free hand to her forehead, a light purple glow emanating from the point of contact. She slowly waved her fingers toward Gildal, a visible purple wisp slowly floating over to Gildal, being a very much visible form of telepathy magic at work.

"There's... everything I know... on the pink-haired assassin... What she looks like, as..." Before Iris could finish her statement, she collapsed down on one knee, the pain obviously too much for her to continue without getting her wound properly and fully treated. The guard that had been accompanying her helped her to her feet and carefully escorted her out, taking her to get proper treatment.

The telepathic wisp that Iris had left with Gildal contained an accurate visual depiction of Serah without the cloak, with faint traces of a background that seemed to be the road to Magus. Additionally, the wisp contained some memory detailing how Serah had been the one to kill the two that were helping Iris escape, and that the two people that Serah had killed in the house off to the edge of town were the ones that had found Iris two days after the attack, wounded and starving just short of making it to Magus territory. The wisp presented this information as a self-narrated memory, making it a little easier to understand as Iris sharing her information on the M.E.U soldier named Serah rather than mere memories of being attacked and saved.

Ethan Kaloronos

Ethan was surprised by the sudden attack, he didn't expect her to lash out like that. He could feel the sudden rush of energy surge upon him as he was thrown onto the ground with the inevitable bone-crushing landing upon the ground. His body ached and his head rang as he felt the warm rush of blood coming down upon the side of his head. She definitely managed to crack his skull with that single hit. Ethan was soon lifted off the ground by her and propped back on his feet. Relieved that the hit didn't put him out cold but dismayed that he was defeated rather easily, though of course it was by a sucker punch so it didn't count in his book.

She then asked him what he needed, and for a brief moment he could not understand a word she said, and then realized that he was going to ask her about her business in these parts. Ethan shrugged himself out of her clutches and briefly dusted himself off. "I just need you to state your name and business around here. I'll forgive you for assaulting a member of the M.E.U if you can just provide me with that information," Ethan stated as he staggered onto his own two feet. He saw a couple people, a few he recognized from the earlier at the town square, gather around him and the foreigner to see what the commotion was about.

Ruby Yang Beifang

When she heard the man mentioned that he is from the M.E.U., Ruby felt a bit of grudge. She feels like she wants to crush this man's skull, but it would be too early for her to do such. For now, she'll play along. "My name and my business? Sure, I'll answer." She kindly responded before making her introduction "My name is Ruby Yang Beifang and I'm just a common bystander. Nothing suspicious, trust me." A simple but well-thought explanation is given and she hopes that would be sufficient enough to let her go. If not, she'll just make a run for it.

"By the way..." She continued "Was that slam too hard for you? I can tell that you're bleeding. But you're lucky that I was just holding back, if not, then you're as squashed as a tomato."

Ashitaka - Local Inn

The old swordsman eyed her suspiciously. This was a really, really risky job, but if she was good on her word, he could make enough from it to retire twice. He could quit this life for good. He could finally have a little peace and quiet with the rest of his life. He had aged, and he had aged badly. He could easily pull a job like this two years ago, but those times were gone. The task itself wasn't all that dangerous, but everything that followed, the hiding, the lying, the stealing, was a recipe for disaster. The fact still remained that this was, technically, treason, working for the supposed "enemy" in direct opposition of the M.E.U, and that was one thing that being a mercenary didn't protect him from. Nobody could know about this job.

With a groan, he snatched the keys from her, pocketing them for later. "I prefer to get paid upfront. I'll do it," he paused. "But just try telling anybody about this, and I'll make you long for something as sweet as pain." He left for the door, then stopped. "I'm gathering my equipment. Where do I need to find you and... Ahem... 'Finish the job?'" He asked.

Issac.png

Issac seemed toubled at Gideon's words, it's never a good sign when an upstanding citizen, let alone an innocent girl has had a bad experience with the M.E.U in the past. But did he really have time to be buying groceries? "(sigh) I suppose it's on the way to the tavern, a little detour won't set us back much." With that said the little girl made a small gesture towards Gideon and ran off. She didn't seem to be the type to talk much, maybe she had a problem with her voice. Regardless he hoped she'd be okay. A little bit later Issac was carrying several bags full of groceries. It was a good thing that it wasn't so busy right now because this really wouldn't suit the image of a commanding warlord. "How does he talk me into this..." Not long after arriving it didn't take long for Gideon to start talking about his concerns in recent developments. "That is why we must strike at Magus. After all they won a battle against us and now the mages are starting to rally. If we don't take over that mage haven now then this will turn into a war."

Issac paused for a moment, knowing full well what all out war would entail. Many lives would be lost, and not only soldiers but also innocent bystanders too. "As long as we strike at Magus and take it over. The mages will have nowhere else to turn too and be back on the run again." Soon after he had finished, One of the guards burst into the room looking incredibly panicked. After relaying the news to his two superiors, Issac shook his head in utter disgust. "Oh for the love of Delmar... Ugh... I'm not dealing with another one of Ivan's 'complaints.' Soldier! Relay the message to all the guards in the city! Close all the gates and make sure no one enters or leaves! Got it!?" "B-but Sir isn't a city-wide lockdown a little too much for one missing girl?" Issac only needed to glare at the soldier before he panicked once again and ran off to do exactly as he was told. The soldier climbed a tower and lit the emergency brazier to signal all the other towers to lock their gates.
