[Interacting with: Euaion Euaion BloodThunder27 BloodThunder27 Probably George Probably George ]

Sicarius looked over the dresses, pulling out a nice red and black dress that was less fancy then the one she was currently wearing. She looked st it for a few moments when Ashley spoke up about the dresses “I’d say the blue would look best on you” She said with a smile until the priestess offered to buy her dress for her. Sicarius got a bit flustered and quickly replied “I could not ask that of you Eurielle, I still have my allowance in my pocket” she say still slightly flustered and picked up a small bag to carry the book under her arm. She approached the seller and pays for the dress and the bag, leaving her with 2 gold coins for books.

Once she brought her items she looked over her shoulder to see someone approach the mother to be, alarms went off in her head as the man spoke her name. Sicarius’s hand grasped her book ready to summon something if this man tried anything.

When Eurielle offered to buy her the two dresses, Ashley only shook her head, but still smiled due to the kindness of the priestess. "I couldn't. But its the thought that counts. Don't worry about it, Euri. I can take care of it." She nodded before proceeding to look through the Kimonos and Cardigans to pair with her dresses.

In addition, she proceeded to pick up a robe, wanting to be able to sleep more comfortably. After picking out the clothing she had wanted, she went ahead to finalize on her purchases. Although it wasn't much, it was much better then traveling with only one set of clothing to wear day after day. She still had plenty of arrows and she was happy with her Bow. Perhaps she could get it upgraded later, because it was just too good to pass up. It was just...rare. Not to mention its been passed down in her Family for generations, although strangely enough, as she was the youngest, she did end up getting it from her Older Sister, as their mother used it before her, while her Brothers were left to inherit Father's two swords. Who knows how old the bow was, but it was clearly very well taken care of. Hopefully it would stay long enough to be passed down to her daughter one day. Before the girls could make an attempt to leave, they were approached by a mysterious looking man. When he spoke her name, she took note of Sicarius grabbing her book. "How do you know my name and what do you want from me...?" She glared at him. "If you even dare lay a finger on me, or my child, you won't live to regret it..." She growled as her hands clenched into fists. "Now state your business."

She was thankful that Eurielle and Sicarius were keeping her company. Honestly, she was ready to scream bloody murder. No doubt the city guardsmen would come for them if they made a scene.

token_1 (1).png It seemed that Surrac managed to stirr up some trouple right away. His head feathers quickly retracted as Ashley suddenly exploded on him. This woman was actually a bit scary. When she was done talking, Surrac's feathers came back up. "Oh! Apologies." Surrac laced his finders and bowed his head to the group. "I am Surrac. I wa-" He quickly stopped himself. One second later and he would've told her that he was an assassin hired to kill her. Surrac didn't get the chance to think of something before hand.

"I... am... Oh! Bounty hunter! Catch criminal." His cheerful tone dissipated into a much more serious one. "But you, you're not criminal. You are mother." Surrac leaned closer and whispered "Someone hired me to hurt you. I don't know who. But no money is worth life of mother and baby." He paused for a second, letting her absorb that bombshell. "Fear not. I, Suracc, will protect your baby with my life. O-Of course if you are ok with that. But I must warn. Surrac is not the only one. And only Surrac knows how we work." He looked at the other two that was with Ashley. "Do not worry. I am friend."

robin hood who?"

Being back in Athenard was weird for the young male, seeing as he hadn't been there in months due to his travels, but seeing as the weapon expo was here and he had an unfortunate accident with his last staff, he knew he better stop by and grab one.

He kept his mask on, not wanting to be recognized by the locals or possibly his parents if he were to run into anyone they knew. It was hard not too get looks though, having a calico cat draped over your shoulder wasn't exactly the most normal thing in the world. Moon swatted at the mask, playing with the small strings looped around his ears and Jason sighed, knowing this wasn't going to go as well as he had hoped. He pulled the cat off of his shoulder and just held her in his arms on her back like a baby. Moon seemed contempt with this burying her face in his arm and letting him carry her towards the expo.

It was like having a toddler, she constantly craved affection and if the attention wasn't on her she got angry and ignored him for hours until he fed her. It made Jason not want to have kids but he couldn't completely complain because he loved the cat more then anything else in the world.

Jason's eyes wandered the different weapon vendors, looking for the Oracle section. Once he found them, he quickly made his way towards the rows of beads, looking through the many options. Jason looked through them, putting down a half asleep Moon who meowed angrily up at him. He finally ended up taking white and pink beads. He ended up paying 50 silver for the beads (which he found stupid but of course, he didn't say anything) and headed off into the crowd once again, making sure Moon was right behind him. He bent down to pick her up so she wouldn't be stepped on and put her back on his shoulder. He glanced around too see if he would want anything more before his eyes landed on some cute little trinkets. He made his way towards them, training his eyes to the ground when he noticed some familiar faces.

He was to busy focusing on hiding his identity to notice the larger male in front of him until his face connected straight into his chest.

As they approached the older woman from just now that sold clothing, the grey-haired male begin to realise that she looked rather young for her age. It could have been partly-attributed to her choice of clothing or maybe even the exuberant energy that she exuded. Nicholas found himself, on instinct, looking through the clothing options that were available for him. Though her stall was occupied with large amounts of clothing, ranging from different colours to styles, he noted that most of it didn't really suit the look he usually went for.

He chose to ignore the part where she had called Levi and himself lovers as they would probably not meet her again. Besides, his eyes were acutely scanning for the smallest of details on each article of clothing that could make or break for his approval. After some time, he settled down for four tops that looked relatively alright before he decided that sticking for the basic white one was his best option. It was most definitely not going to be his favourite but he would make do.

Nicholas Lee was about to leave the payment in the dancer's hands when he reached into his pocket and found not one-- but two pieces of gold coins. His eyes widened slightly and thanked Gorelus for his luck before quickly handing the lady the money. As the woman made her way to find loose change, he found himself placing the other gold coin he had left into the palm of Levi's hand, having hated being in debt to someone, "Take it. It's my payment back to you."

For the first time since they've met, he gave the male a small but noticeable grin before facing his attention back to the older lady.

"What toys do you have, madam?" He addressed her formally before reaching forward to receive his loose change back as well as the shirt that he had chosen.

The priestess had been looking over clothing that Sicarius was looking at until she heard Ashley sound on edge at someone. She perked up and looked over at the situation, surprised to see a giant bird looming over her friend. "Oh--" She says briefly. Eurielle swiftly went over to Ashley and moved in between the soon to be mother and humanoid bird. "Hello," she says cheerfully, smiling in spite if what she just heard. "I think you should step back and let us discuss what you just told us." The priestess had a certain edge to her words that were surprising to everyone. "You understand the general mistrust, right?" She says to Surrac. The tension in the air had alarmed those around the area but no one dared to step in or say anything. Suddenly, the shop keeper speaks up with a troubled tone. "Please dont fight here!"

Eurielle looks over to the owner of her small little booth and gives an apologetic smile. "Sorry! We won't do anything, but we'll leave and come back after this is resolved!" She assured them, promptly leading everyone away from the shop to the side area where theres less traffic. All the while, she kept herself in between Ashley and Surrac, just to be safe. "Are you lying about not knowing who hired you?" Eurielle immediately asked, giving a leveled stare to the giant bird.

The juggler had eaten up his meal rather quickly since its his first one of the day. He thanks the owner with a content smile and pays him double the price of the bowl. "That really hit the spot, sir." He praises the old man who is in awe and swelling with pride. "Thank you, young man. Enjoy the expo!" He waves off Invictis with a wrinkled smile. It leaves him feeling happy and warmer, filled with new found energy. And so, the great thief is on the prowl again for his next target. He stalks through the crowd, rust colored eyes skimming over shops and people alike. He hums a little before he spots two men in this one shop. Invictis walks over causally, playing it as if he's browsing the items displayed. He listens in one their conversation and gives a soft sigh of disappointment when he realizes they're just friends. He figured this was one of those escorts and their patron. Invictis ignores them entirely now, his focus now on the various of items on display when he spots an umbrella. "Hm? Excuse me ma'am. Is thst umbrella for sale?" He asks politely, pointing to the item in question.

Now although he did want the umbrella, he also just wanted to see how much coin this man had on him. He seemed like he was from Lustelia, and probably had a decent amount on him. While he was distracted in such an intimate conversation, Invictis deftly slipped his hand into the mans pocket, only to find barely anything. "What-" He says aloud in disbelief, and he feels a hand grip his wrist tightly. Invictis looks at the grey haired fellow he was just pickpocketing from and gives a strange look. "Uh... Oops. That's not my pocket." He puts up his other hand defensively as if to say he won't try anything else.

Levi was confused at the woman who had came up to him. He was still not over the fact that she had called them 'lovebirds', he noticed Nicholas paying for his own shirt and receiving his change for his shirt. He proceeded to look at Levi and gave him a golden coin. "Take it. It's my payment back to you." Levi was confused at first but, he remembered that he payed for his orb. I guess it was his way of saying, thank you. "Oh, thank you. That's kind of you to do, I guess." He was happy with his kind gesture, no one ever has paid back a debt that came from him. He wasn't used to people thanking him for anything, the sayings that he was used to were usually homophobic slurs or any phrase that has the word, 'stupid', or, 'disgusting'. Levi was used to people insulting him, not thanking him.

"Oh my, I never thought anyone would be interested in my 'toys'." The woman said as she proceeded to go to her cashier and grab three big boxes. She revealed what were the contents of the three boxes. The first box was small as it held a humble pistol, with some sort of cat symbol to the side of it. The second box was long as it contained an umbrella with some kind of amber orbs sticking out on it's canopy. The third box contained a big toy mallet with a star acting as it's top. It looked quite childish but, it may have strong properties that no other weapon can do. He was interested in the umbrella but the toy pistol was a more odd choice for a weapon. "The pistol does wonders, trust me. The umbrella spawns in mines to help you attack or defend. The toy hammet can act as a sort-of defense mechanism when low on health."

Toy Prices:
Umbrella Staff - 2 gold coins
Hello Kitty Pistol - 1 gold coin
Bonky-Bonk Hammer - 1 gold coin

A man had entered the scene, he wasn't too formally dressed, he was quite average-looking. "Hm? Excuse me, ma'am. Is that umbrella for sale?" He was eyeing the umbrella that the woman presented only for them. Levi minded his own business as he examined the three items, they all looked bizarre but, he felt some kind of magical aura surrounding it. He felt some kind of energy take hold of his heart, some kind of force. As Levi was slightly feeling pain, the store owner proceeded to grab her dual pistols and asked the man who recently entered the store, "You know, there are other places where we could manage this little situation."

Sicarius kept her grip on her book and moved closer to Ashley, stepping in front of her slightly once she had asked her questions. The noble glared at the bird with a look that could kill, she did not speak one word but she did not have to her face gave away enough as it was. Just as she was about to threaten the overgrown bird the shopkeeper spoke up and the priestess quickly dragged them out of the shop to a quiet area away from the stalls.

Sicarius kept herself slightly in front of the expectant mother and her left hand firmly on the spine of her book, with her quick tounge and protective tendencies she kept quite during the discussion instead deciding to look as threatening as she can to keep her friend safe.

The Bird's fast change in attitude was a bit of a surprise to the young mother. Nonetheless it would seem that her two companions were quick to step in to protect her. Hopefully he did at least understand the mistrust between him and all three women before him. Because he practically admitted to attempting to kill her, she wasn't about trust him. Not with her own life and sure as hell not that of her daughter's. She didn't exactly believe him either when he claimed he didn't know who hired him to go after her. Unconvinced, Ashley took a step back as Sicarius and Eurielle got in between her and the bird, who identified himself as Surrac. Ashley was now also wondering what would prompt someone to want to hurt her. Sure, she had a few ex-boyfriends, but she doubted any of them wanted to hurt her. Sure, they might be upset about the fact that she was now pregnant, but nothing worth hurting or even killing her over. She didn't really want to ponder on who or why she had a bounty on her head. Chances were it wasn't the legal kind, because she didn't exactly have a criminal background, let alone a criminal history. "I doubt you're being honest, Surrac..." She said nonchalantly. "If you don't know your employer, then you're not a very good bounty hunter. I also heavily doubt that the city guards are coming for me...Otherwise I'd be in the city dungeons by now if not in some king's basement as a concubine with child..." Her tone remained cold.

She then started cradling her belly in a protective manner, now worried for the safety of her unborn child. "Sicarius, if you may be so kind... Please keep an eye on our feathery guest...and Euri...Please don't wonder off too far from me, I don't feel comfortable being alone right now." She said to both women as she looked Surrac in the eye. "I hope you don't try anything. I will put an arrow through that beak if you do. Are we clear on that?" She asked, glaring at him as the gentle breeze blew against her long ponytail.

Nicholas Lee had to admit-- he wasn't the most impressed when the older lady pulled out three items that looked like it came from a kindergarten playground. Though, he knew looks can be deceiving. At that thought, he examined each item closely and listened to what she had said. He was, in fact, in search for a pistol or rather, twin pistols as he found himself gravitating to them more than other weaponry. While he contemplated, he realised that even though he was in need of an item to protect himself and others with, he was unequivocally broke. A small part of him sighed on the inside as he realised that he had come back to his previous starting point. He was about to turn her down when he felt a pressure in his slacks' pocket.

Turning around, the grey-haired male found himself looking into the eyes of a very confused man who seemed around his age too. He was dressed well but for some reason, he seemed to be pickpocketing Nicholas. Or well, tries to pickpocket the male. Acting on his reflexes, Nicholas grabbed ahold of the male's wrist firmly before glaring down at him with cold, piercing eyes. It was ironic, such a man like him who composed himself like a higher-up and dressed completely opposite to the definition of shabby was as poor as a church mouse.

"Disappointed, are we?" The tall male asked before flashing the male a smirk, the same one he gave whenever he turned sadistic during an exorcism. However, his conversation was cut short when the owner of the stall aimed her twin pistols at the attempted thief. Now that's what I want, Nicholas thought to himself as he examined the guns from his point.

Just as he was about to hand the thief over to her, an idea flew past his brain.

The grey-haired male snaked his arm around the thief's shoulder before pointing at the items that the female had displayed out. "A proposition, if you will," he said before nodding to himself, as though he was thinking thoroughly, "-you could purchase that gun over there for me, alongside twin pistols we can look for in the market or you could enjoy some shooting lessons with this lovely lady here."

He then let the raven-haired male's shoulders go before shrugging, "A thief would have no trouble forking money out now, would they?"

Sicarius continued to keep quiet and nods slightly as the expectant mother asked her to watch the bird, and watch the bird she shall. “Like a hawk Ashley” She replied making an unintentional pun, not even looking to her friends as she spoke, her deathly gaze still trained upon the bird. She scowled slightly at the bird “Make any threatening movements and wolves will be on you fast then you can pull a trigger, got that canary” She almost spat still holding a rather dark expression, it seemed like the overgrown bird would have to work hard to get through to the young noble after his first impression.

Sicarius kept close to the bird, as to keep between her friend and the one who seemed to kill her but a few moments ago. She still kept her grip on her book and put the bag over her shoulder with the dress safely inside “I need to buy some books at some point today, want me to take the bird with me while you two look over dresses” she asked looking over her shoulder to the two women behind her

As soon as Moon was grabbed, Jason found himself looking up and glaring at said person, he knew he was the one who bumped into this guy, but Moon didn't need to pay for it. Moon hissed at the guy again before hiding between Jason's feet, glaring up at this man.

"Sorry." He bowed to him, picking Moon up and holding her safely in his arms. At the tone though he flinched back, just dipping his head towards the male. Jason glanced at the shop keeper as he struggled to do the math and he was about to pipe up and help him before the other male did it first. He dipped his head towards the shop manager in a small apology for holding up the line before turning away. He kept his head down, nervously glancing around. He didn't want to make a scene, but seeing as people were glancing at them, he put his mask back on.

At the males words, he glanced back. "I'm sorry again. I'll be more careful." He really wasn't going to be. "Jason?" He heard called out and he whipped his head back towards the male who had stopped him before, where a woman was standing next to him also looking at the stuff on the table.

"Jason Hirai? Is that you?" She called again and Jason hesitated for a second before turning around and nodding, dipping his head towards the girl.

"So the rumors are true.. You're just traveling?" She glanced at him curiously, "You haven't stolen from anyone else righ-" Jason hissed mumbling a quick 'please be quiet', "I'm only here for the expo and then I'm off again."

"Your parents are looking for you."

"I know they are but I don't want to be found, so please don't say a word. At least until I leave the expo." He glanced at the male beside her, lowering his voice. "I'm very sorry about stealing that necklace but there was a old homeless man that needed the money more." She raised her hand to silence him, "Everyone knows your little game, seduce the rich, steal from them and then give it to the homeless." Jason didn't like how loud she as being, especially with the male standing beside her.

"Quiet down, I'd rather not be killed."

In all honesty, the fact Invictis was so caught off guard that he was somewhat dumbfiunded by the way the man smirked at him. Was this some kind of trick? He actually has almost nothing on him. The juggler looked to the woman and flashed a harmless smile. "Now now, I'm not very into gun play ma'am." Theres a small huff as he turns his head away from the fact hes now forced into an unwanted shoulder hug, but he eyes the man as he listens to his 'proposition'. "You don't hesitate on these sort of offers, do you?" Invictis says with a smirk of his own. He glances briefly to the other man who had his chest exposed. Perhaps he was just a worker on break. The juggler never fucked with that scene, since it's all a mess. Too much to risk and even to skim from the top.

Though he seemed unphased by the whole thing, he was internally scolding himself that he let himself get caught lff guard by a man with no money. Theres a mild guilt added to his hurt pride. His rust colored eyes stare into cold grey ones as he lowers his hands. "Fair deal." He says with a small sigh. Invictis moves the bag over to his front but looks to the woman. "Just getting out what i have; how much are the pistols?" He asks, though his eyes wanders to the umbrella again. "And that." Of course, he notices the revolver with a white cat printed on it and chuckles, "You sure you don't want this one?" He looks over to the taller man, quirking an eyebrow with an amused glint in his eyes. His lips rested in neutral, though he didnt look like he was playfully teasing, the air around him said otherwise. "It would suit you."

token_1.png All eyes were on Surrac, and each of them had some sort of distaste to them. Not to mention Ashley's questions making it harder to get away with his deception. If he was to earn these people's trust, he couldn't lie to them. But at the same time, why would they trust a contract killer? It'd be better to slowly and subtly imply he was an assassin. "No, no guards. I do privately. Dark room, no names." Along with the questioning, Ashley brought up not being alone. "Yes, yes! Safe in groups. Do not go alone." Surrac was trying desperately to warm up to the group. it wasn't working to well though. So Surrac decided to just keep quiet, as to not step over the line. That was until there was the proposition for Surrac to go with Sicarius to get some books.. Surrac shuttered "Uhh... No books. Surrac... Surrac cannot read." He felt embarrassed to say so, but being surrounded by books, even as a kid, made him feel insecure.

When answering about his employer, Ashley only continued to cradle her belly. Briefly, she looked down as she felt the baby fidgeting. She looked back up when Sicarius mentioned taking the bird with her to the area with books. The young mother nodded, firmly believing that the woman can look after herself. After seeing her power first-hand, Ashley was confident that Sicarius could look after herself. Either way, she was happy to be accompanied by Eurielle, whom she was now starting to develop a bit of an infatuation for. However, she was going to keep this to herself, believing that not very many people would want to date a pregnant woman, especially since the child was conceived out of wedlock. "I'm sure Sicarius will be fine. Our other friends are nearby. Father Nick, Levi and Nova aren't too far." She then turned to Sicarius. "Anyway, dearie, you can take the bird and go find the books you need. Surely you'll want something to do when we are traveling." She smiled and nodded at the other woman.

Briefly, she examined Surrac before turning her attention to Eurielle. "Was there anything that you wanted to take a look at? I'm sure that there is more that you want to do besides watching me pick out dresses." She started giggling as she gently caressed her belly.

Levi was shocked as the woman who tended her stall pointed at the man who recently entered. "I don't take thieves within my stall lightly." She said as she responded to his question, "Also, darling. They aren't for sale, it's an answer to my prayers." She proceeded to take her guns and lower them. Levi spoke up and said, "I'll take everything, I believe we've caused quite some trouble at your lovely shop but, It'd be nice to have a cup of tea another time." The woman was surprised by Levi's words as she proceeded to put them back in their respective boxes and put them within a bag. He proceeded to hand over 4 gold coins for the total price of the items. "Thank you for shopping. The name's Cereza Lucinda by the way. I'll give you this as an extra reward for actually managing to afford these things." Cereza proceeded to hand over a small key chain, it was a bunny that hugged a big lollipop. "It's my good-luck charm to you, adventurers. Attach it to anything, it'll make your wishes come true." She gave a wave to the trio of men as they left the stall and went somewhere more, private.

"Look, if you want money, here." Levi proceeded to hand out 4 gold coins. It was certainly generous of him to just give out 4 gold coins. He knew that he can get some somewhere else from another man's wallet but, he'd still give the man some cash to go along his merry way. "If you want it, just take it. You know that being a thief is a crime, right?" Levi started to get annoyed at the man for his actions. If he was poor, he could have just asked for some money. He doesn't have to go out of his way to get things that aren't his. He tried to be a thief when he was younger, it certainly wasn't a life suited for him. He remembered an event that would take place within the expo. It was something about a concert and roses. He wanted to go but, he had to wait for the man's response.

Nicholas Lee

Nicholas felt as though a comedic tune was playing in the background when the thief had suggested that the cat pistol suited him. The grey-haired male side eyed the male before glaring at him, his eyes reading 'I'll kill you' before his attention was turned back to Levi purchasing literally everything. The exorcist priest was about to stop him before the shop owner smiled in delight, very glad that they were ridding of her her items that she had probably held on to for quite some time, considering her initial surprise at Nicholas' curiosity towards them.

Though the items were bought despite it being not out of the thief's pocket, Nicholas was silently grateful that his empty pockets were yet again, not reduced to paying the price of the purchase. His arm was still on the raven-haired male's shoulder and one would have assumed he'd let go but his said arm that snaked its way around his shoulder in the beginning had moved to his arm, refusing to let him go, saying, "You still need to purchase twin pistols for me, thief. I will not be satisfied nor will I let you go until then."

It was honestly, shameless of Nicholas Lee but he was going to milk this situation as much as he could, considering he was as rich as a beggar. Speaking of beggars, Levi, for some reason had decided to hand over four pieces of gold coins to the raven-haired male who was on his left. His eyes followed the coins and just before the thief could grab it, found himself reaching for it with his right hand. The grey-haired male then took a hold of Levi's right hand with the coins in it before asking rhetorically, "Do you not see this man? He is the opposite of a beggar."

Pulling the both of them along with him, the thief in one hand and Levi in the other, Nicholas said, "Let's proceed with our agenda-- finding those twin pistols for me." He then glanced back at the male on his left before giving him a stare that read 'You better not try anything funny or else.'

The whole scene was rather funny, three males-- two with linked arms and while the middle one and the one on the right were holding hands.

Eurielle made a noise of disagreement towards Sicarius going off alone with the bird assassin but didnt say anything, somewhat pouting at the decision made. Her eyes traveled over to Ashley slowly, still keeping Surrac in her peripheral view. "Ah... Well." The priestess starts slowly. She didn't actually have anything in mind she wanted to look at, and watching Ashley fawn over the dresses here made Eurielle content with just being around. "I like to see you happy and get things you like, so i do not mind if we return to getting you things." She says in her usual light tone. But seeing how Ashley was so considerate of what she wanted, she smiles at her. "But if i see something, I'll let you know." Eurielle adds, shifting from one side to another.

Perhaps getting some normal clothes would be good. Her priestess uniform has her sticking out like a sore thumb, and she doesn't want her family to be aware of her just yet. A creeping feeling that the encounter is inevitable sent shivers down her spine, making her bite her lip in nervousness. A silent prayer to Purysho given her some ease for now. She hums a little and looks to Sicarius and Surrac again, "If we're parting ways from here, let's meet up at the concert. It's going to start in about 30 minutes I believe." She suggests to the two, wanting to give a reason that if Surrac did anything to Sicarius, they will know. Eurielle was curious of this concert herself, but she doesnt think she'll fully be able to enjoy it now that an assassin is going to be with them... though maybe he wont be so bold to try to kill Ashley in public. Too many witnesses. Or so Eurielle hopes there will be.

With how this man was acting, he was definetly from Lustelia, which made Invictis hate him a little bit more than he normally would for a person. 'Unbelievable,' Invictis thinks. 'The balls this guy has to be all cocky...' He scoffs a little, looking away from the grey haired man and towards the one who promptly buys all the weapons. He is a little thankful but he isnt all to surprised that business is still buisness, seeing that he was let off the hook because they were basically bought out. "I think the charm worked already." He said, a subtle delight in his voice. But he had spoke too soon since this poor bastard (literally) didn't release him and told him that he still owed him his dumb twin pistols. Invictis doesn't hide his rolling eyes at how persistent this man is being. "Yeah, yeah." He waves him off, clearly unamused by the other.

This turns into searing irritation upon the other male giving gold to him. There's a moment when Invictis gives a look of, 'Is this a fucking joke?' His hand reaches up to take the gold out of spite. 'If this man is that dumb to give up his money like that, who am i to deny the offer?' Invictis mused to himself in an sarcastic tone. Of course, the gold was cover by the grey haired man and to be very honest, there was a sense of relief in the bastards words. "It's only been 10 minutes and this guy gets me." He says aloud while motioning off handedly at Nicholas. However his amused air diminished at the raven haired next sentence. Was he really being told off by a prostitute about his occupation? His rust coloered eyes gave Levi a heated look as they were dragged off and out of the previous shop. He barely registered Nicholas words or the look he gave him when he spoke up himself. "You aren't in a position to tell me what is a crime or not, sweetheart. You get your money by being bought out by anyone willing to take up on what you're selling." He says with a certain sharpness in his tone. "And what you're selling is far more illegal than what I do."

As harsh as he was being, he knew that the other man probably didn't know the difference. Maybe he grew up in this situation, and some try to cope with it by convincing themselves its not a crime. It's not Invictis place to how or why the man got himself into such a work place, but the truth is he didn't care. Just as the other didn't care how or why he got into his job. He didn't care what people did to get their money, but when someone who is in some sort of shady business, you can't just pass judgement onto someone else who is doing the same as you. It's hypocritical and that kind of thinking will get you killed. "Now," Invictis starts again, but with a firm tone. He looks to the Bastard and motions towards the path of shops lined up. "We're at a weapon expo, so browse around and tell me what you want; but only one set of twin pistols. Nothing more, Nothing less." He says, giving a strange look of 'dont test me'. "After that, I'll be out of your hair. Fair?" The juggler looks expectantly to the two, looking completely different now that he isn't joking around.

[Amanda Maundrell - Warrior - Level 1]
[Mood: Calm]
[Equipped: Obsidian Long Sword]

Having left home not long after her own sister, the elder Maundrell, whom the Goddess had paid a visit to in her dreams, was to now join her sister and several others in a conquest to save the world and humanity. Still letting the idea of it sink in, Amanda decided to attend the Weapons Expo, hoping to find her sister and those chosen by Terra so that they could begin their journey together after the fact. However, Amanda still wanted to take time to enjoy the Weapons Expo. Taking on the name rather literally, she was in the Weapons Section. While she was happy with her Obsidian Long sword, she was hoping to find another sword to wield alongside. Not fancying the idea of using a shield, she decided to use another sword, relishing the idea of duel wielding. In addition, she had to look at other weaponry to use, as she needed to be prepared for specific enemies...and slashing could only do so much. She needed a weapon for piercing and even bludgeoning. As the Mace didn't really fancy the fairly seasoned warrior, Amanda looked towards accessories that could practically augment her fists. But she wasn't a monk. For Piercing however, she felt that using a Spear was too bland, so she looked towards both the Rapier and the Trident.

Then there were also more last resort weapons, like daggers and short-swords. While she browse, even some of the more exotic weapons came to her attention. If she had Telekinesis and was able to use magic, she would use several different weapons and even have them act as a magical shield surrounding her. Couldn't always get what you want, right? Still, she could also expand her weapons collection, not that her husband would approve all that much since they have children in their home. Wouldn't want any of them to get hurt. Still, they could always keep the armory locked up tight. Folding her arms, she scratched her chin as she looked at the various weapons before her.

Sicarius Knowles / Level 5 / Storyteller/ With: Probably George Probably George (Surrac)
Feeling: Neutral

Sicarius nodded and put her book in her bag, she looked the bird “Kets get a move on canary! The fast we get the books the faster you don’t have to deal with me” She said starting towards the section with the book lined up on the fronts of the stalls. As she passed her two friends she nodded at the agreed meeting point “ Be hard to miss with with the overgrown parrot” she laughed and looked over her shoulder to the bird man, she becomed him to follow her with a small movement of her hand.

Arriving at the stall that mainly sold books, Sicarius sorted through the shelves of books. Picking out 4 books of fairy tales at 50 silver each, each book contained 2 stories of princesses or of fables. Once she had sorted through th books and picked them out she gave the last of her gold to the seller with a smile, putting all but one book away for the moment. Looking over her shoulder again she addressed the bird “You said you couldn’t read earlier, do you want to learn while we still have time.”

Obtained: 4 story books (Snow white, red riding hood, the toy soldier and the frog prince stories useable)
Personal funds: 0 gold

token_1.png Surrac felt very unwelcomed. His entrance was definitively very unbefitting. The women weren't to blame though, Surrac understood that. It went against him to leave Ashley behind. Then again, it would take a while before someone else, if anyone, to do her out. But Surrac was prepared for any encounter they had to deal with. He understood how assassins work, and could watch for anything out of the ordinary.

In the meantime, Surrac would have to go with Sicarius. "Surrac is no canary or parrot. Surrac is vulture. You know, big scary hunter bird. Stuff like squirrels." He corrected Sicarius, not understanding her sarcasm. When they arrived to the library, Surrac immediately felt a bit scared, his feathers retreating to his head and shrinking him. His mother had a collection of books, but this was titanic to him. It took a second before Sicarius's words pierced the trance Surrac was in. Her proposition brought a grin to Surrac's face, and his feathers back up. "You would do that? For me?"

[Adeline|Engineer|Lv.1| 2 gold]
After leaving from the alleyway, and looking around at the weapon shops in the expo to come up with some weapon ideas. Adeline went back to her brother's weapon stall, and packed up the weapons that they didn't sell at the expo.
"Did you got a lot of money like usual, Devin?" said Adeline.
"Yep, but I expected this. After all, our weapons are high quality, and any adventurer would want to get the best weapon for their adventure." said Devin.
"Do you think I can beat our family's weapon quality?" said Adeline, who wasn't being too obvious about her beating them on the weapon quality already.
"Hell no, since you keep ruining our weapons every single time you tried to improve it." said Devin. "Just stop trying to do that, and leave the weapons to us."
Adeline was sad because what Devin has said to her. However, this was to be expected, for she never listens to them on stopping on the horrible improvement attempts on their weapons. 'I should have seen this one coming. They never believed in me when I tried to make their weapons better.' thought Adeline.
"Anyway, are you done packing up all of the weapons, Adeline? Because they need to be ready for tomorrow." said Devin.
"Yes, and I still want to watch the Roses's concert." said Adeline.
"Yeah about that. I asked one of my customers about the concert, and they gave me this poster." said Devin. The poster said that the concert was starting tomorrow.
"...So the concert wasn't even today? That was a waste of time then." said Adeline.
"You should be grateful that you will see the concert, Adeline." said Devin.
"I know, but it would have been great if the concert started today." said Adeline.
"Well, it isn't, and we need to go to the inn now." said Devin.
"Ok, and are we going to get ice cream tomorrow?" said Adeline.
"Yes, but I am making you pay it." said Devin.
"Sounds good to me, and let's go." said Adeline.
They went to the inn with all of those weapons, pay to stay there for the night, and went to sleep.

Next Day:
"YAY! Today is the Roses's concert, and remember what you said yesterday, Devin." said Adeline.
"I know. We have to get some ice cream today." said Devin.
"Good, and the Roses's concert here I come." said Adeline.
She immediately got herself ready for that, and went outside to go see the concert. Adeline was also not running towards the concert like she did yesterday, because she didn't want to run into that scary stranger again. 'Ok. I will not run towards the concert this time, since I don't want to run into him again.' thought Adeline.
