「 carrying a long staff - seems more like a holy ornament than a staff 」

Eurielle looked at the maniacal red priest, her eyes looking up towards the strange red light before her eyes went wide in realization. Before she could react, she was crushed by the weight of debris. She lets out a pained cry and barely registers the fact Father Nicholas also took the same thing as her. She groaned as she felt like she was on the verge of passing out as she struggled to raise her staff. It gleamed with a delicate light, and soon Nicholas body radiated a soft light.

The pain that spread around his body soon ebbed away, making him feel slightly invigorated after what just happened. Eurielle sighed out shakily, arms trembling as she tried to stand up. She had to admit, she isn't used to being in danger - without purysho at least. The priestess would have so many questions the next time she sees him, but for now she settled for getting her and everyone out alive. She held onto her side, though everything hurt, trying to prepare another spell of healing.

Before Ashley could fire her arrow, both Eurielle and Father Nicholas were hit by falling debris. Amazingly, Ashley herself wasn't hit, but the priestess was badly hurt and so was Father Nicholas. While Eurielle healed their other injured companion as she slowly got up to her feet. Instead of attacking the Necromancer's hand as she had originally intended, she had to find another way to get through that barrier because if her arrow deflected and hit her in the stomach, that would be fatal to her baby, something she could not afford, so she had to do this strategically. Instead she aimed above the Necromancer. After holding the Arrow back for so long, she allowed it to propel above the Necromancer. "Three. Two. One." She let go of the bow string and the arrow flew above the Necromancer and stuck into the wall above his head. The young mother then got into a defensive stance and stood in front of Eurielle.

The man was starting to become increasingly worried for his health as the battle was starting to get dangerous. Both of his teammates were in critical condition but the priestess decided to heal Nicholas, instead of healing herself. Levi was baffled on why the girl didn't heal herself when she had the chance but he proceeded to focus on the battle. He started to shake his hips and do a little spin before jumping and letting his hand fly, small strings of light came out as he continued to dance. A small light in the form of a shield appeared at the top of her head, slightly increasing her defense before she could take more hits from the necromancer.

The turtle was starting to get weak as his barrier was constantly taking hits from the wolves that were scratching it.
The barrier had already disappeared, making him and the priest who was making the rubble damage the team, vulnerable.
The armored man who was wielding the great-shield had taken 20 damage from both of the wolves.
The necromancer had proceeded to mark some heads more as a man who he had not seen before and the lady with the elegant dress had been marked for rubble.

Sicarius noticed the priest marking new people and from the look he had given her she knew she was next up. Calling back the black wolf to her side she slid down the bannister of the stairs and ducked under the wolf, trying to use him as a shield as she once again started to look for another attack she could use against the defender while she still had time to attack with the white wolf knowing that the black wolf would be sacrificed to save herself.

“The white wolf drew back from its victim and circled it like a vulture around a hunk of meat. His eyes focused on the head of the defender as it once again launched back at the victim, aiming to end the life of its prey as fast as he could while his mate pulled back to her pack leader. She defended the leader like a mother with pups, she stood proud as the leader hunched over to hide under her saggy and small farme” She read adjusting the story here and there as she looked out from her hiding place directly at the priest, her voice dripped with venom as she spat her words at him. “You call us sinners when you bring the dead back to do your bidding, that’s rather sinful! Let alone starting a battle in a holy place!”

Though he had fought countless battles with demons, he knew his strength did not lie in his offence skills. However, that did not mean his skills were in any case, bad. Before the exorcist could plant any form of action, the necromancer who was probably one of the most powerful in the line of individuals they were fighting against had caused rubble to fall on both his and the priestess' head. He did not expect it and as such, hadn't time to react, causing him albeit more pain than one would think.

Nicholas huffed in annoyance and in pain as he pushed away the remaining rubble that was around him. It was merely the start of this battle and he was getting pissed off already. He was about to attack back when he felt Eurielle's healing on him, aiding him in getting more strength back but causing her to weaken slightly. He held her gaze for a moment before saying, "Worry about yourself." He made no act to thank her for her actions but the fingers on his left hand swirled as he used his magic to ease her pain slightly. It wasn't much but he knew the effects of his healing magic warranted less pain for the receiver and a small boost in energy seeing as he was, after all, a bloodmancer.

He then faced the bloodied priest, the necromancer and the armoured man. "God, they're fucking annoying." Father Nicholas said as he reached his right hand down into his pocket, rolling the beads of the rosary with his fingers as he raised the other hand that was used to heal Eurielle up. Brownish-red liquid begin to form in front of him before it was raised into the air. While doing so, they became to separate and form small, cylindrical-shaped solid-- bullets. As the necromancer became busy with targeting two from their platoon (is that what they were called, Nicholas wondered), Nicholas took the opportunity to fire half the amount of bullets at the necromancer and the other half, the armoured man.

"We've got to aim our attack on one of them to create more damage. I can aid with the defence." Nicholas called out to the rest of them who were stood surrounding him. Individually, none of them were powerful enough to take down but together, they might create more damage than anticipated. He figured that the necromancer and the bloodied priest were the most powerful there since they received protection from the armoured man. Getting rid of them would be getting rid of skill while the armoured man were more towards strength, stamina and endurance fights.

Undead Defender, Slogturtle (Past)

"Hey, David! Hurry up a bit, the game's about to begin!"

"In there by a hot minute!"

It was a normal afternoon within Magemahi as David was about to participate in a game called, Defenders.
The objective of the game was to protect your team's queen with whatever means you can do. David would normally carry a great-shield since it is his signature piece of equipment when playing the game. He participated in the wars between Lustelia and Magemahi, tension between the two nations were brewing but the war was over as Magemahi lost their land to the enemy and proceeded to live within the depths of the ocean, never to be seen again. David was missing as the war was finished but his body was never found.
His final place was apparently at a chapel.

|flashback over|

The turtle-looking undead defender was starting to feel beaten by the wolves as he was just forced to participate in the situation. He hated the feeling of having to fight as he has seen the terrors of war, and what it can bring to humanity. A white wolf returned to the group that he was facing against while the black wolf continued scratching him. He took damage as he proceeded to shove the wolf to the side and grab his big shield. He used his shield as a sort of wall to push away the wolf that was going to kill him if he wasn't going to do anything. A well-dressed man started to shoot some bullets at the undead figures that were behind him but he was still trying to fight for himself amidst the chaos.

Eurielle managed a small laugh at Nicholas' comment, feeling slightly better after a strange moment from his hand. She was curious and tilted her head a little in question before the display of blood swirled around the Father. Theres a look of shock and she now realized why he had said he was simply used to people calling him Father. Should she still refer to him as such-? Eurielle will have to get back to that later.

She inhales as much as she can before exhaling, closing her eyes as her staff began to hold another delicate glow. This time, it was her own body thst began to gleam and her strained expression eased onto one of relief. It really pays to be a priest. Now that her mind wasnt lingering on the fact she almost died, she looked at the fact the defender was struggling and already pretty weakened. "The one with the shield is faltering - but i dont think we should kill it." She says loudly enough for mostly everyone to hear. The snarling wolves and the rumble beneath their feet was a cause for her voice to be scattered.

Eurielle points to the necromancer, "He's controlling the shield, aim for him!" She explains. Though its a guess really - no one had to know that right?

As Eurielle got back up to her feet, Ashley felt slightly relieved. Grabbing another arrow out of her quiver, Ashley got ready to fire another arrow at the Necromancer himself now that the magical barrier has fallen. Taking aim at the Necromancer's hand as she originally planned, she pulled the bowstring back as far as she could. Aiming at the Necromancer's left hand, she looked in his direction. "If there is anything you need to learn. Its that nothing is ever more fierce then a Mother's Love." Ashley would then focus on his left hand before releasing the bowstring with tapping against her cardigan sleeve.

The arrow was then sent flying in the direction she had intended, headed straight for the Necromancer's left hand.

"Curiosity is the engine of achievement."

The curious boy's eyes widened, staring at the group before him, slowly getting up to his feet. He staggered a bit, almost tripped and he fell against the stained glass. Over a million thoughts were pushed around in his head. The vines that covered the stained glass was pushed against his fragile skin and he winced. He quickly smeared off the grease on his cheek, feeling self conscious since there was a boy who looked really ripped. A strand of his hair was in his face, and he blew it away, but it brushed against his face once more.

Ace. Where was he exactly? All he did was touch a butterfly... He rubbed his back, confused. All he could think about at the moment was Ace. Her big smile when she had caught a rabbit when she was a kid... her warm hugs... her dry humor... and her bossy attitude. He missed her already, and wished he just ignored the blade and walked out with her. His knees buckled, but he took a deep breath. If Ace were here, she'd place her small, delicate hand on my shoulder and whisper, 'Kari, beat their asses and run away. I'll distract them with my archery skills...' Her soft voice rang in his ears, and he took a deep breath.

That's when a strong, powerful wind gushed and filled the air. He sucked in his own breath, and watched a bloody priest. "Dear Gods, he looks like he fell in a ditch and ruined his face even more..." he muttered, snorting.

His eyes widened, suddenly realizing that this priest was a bad guy this group was going to battle. The undead shielded himself, and Kari started to shake again, before calming himself with a sigh. I need a weapon.

He watched as a couple of others went to fight the priest, but in turn got crushed by the ceiling. Someone shrieked, and Kari realized it was himself. He checked He sucked in his breath, before turning away, and looking around for some type of weapon--a gun, a knife, whatever. He frantically looked around. He was only a seventeen year old--a kid--he can't handle this! Sure, he couldn't process anything at the moment, perhaps he fell asleep at his workshop and this is all a dream--but he decided to stay alive. He was all that Ace had left. He won't let anyone--this monster, or a goddess, take that away.

His fingertip brushed against a piece of shattered glass. He winced, accidentally pricking himself. Crimson blood dripped onto the glass piece, as he stared at it. The glass was sharp. Too sharp. If he used this as a weapon...

The teenager pursed his lips, and broke off a piece off wood from a fragile table. Biting his lip, he looked around for some thing to tie the two together. A rope? Locks of hair? Chains? He glanced over at the dancer once more, considering using his chain. Maybe he could snatch it and tie it around? He sighed, and realized glanced over at his stopwatch, his light hazel eyes flicked with fear. I'm going to die. A realization hit him. He had a large chain material around his jacket, holding his stopwatch in place near his sleeve. Perhaps he could use that... but the stopwatch was his mother's.

He grit his teeth, and ripped out the chain, the stopwatch fell, hitting the ground. The glass cracked even more, and a piece of glass fell out. He aggressively shoved the stopwatch in his pocket, and wrapped the chain around the glass and the wood, fusing them together. He didn't have any time to create the perfect weapon, but this would suffice. He looked at his large bag that was attached to his belt, and he opened it, taking out a small bomb. He had carried the prototype around with him because he wanted to test it out to see if it works. And now, he finally got the chance to.

He psychotically grinned, and gripped onto both the crappy spear and the bomb, before running towards the necromancer. "FUCK OFF, WEAR YOUR MOMMY'S TROUSERS, YOU SHITASS!" His boots clapped the wooden floors before shouted, "EVERYONE, GET OUT OF THE WAY!" he threw the bomb at the Necromancer, then positioned the spear and tried to throw it at his body, hoping his aim is good. He saw the bomb blew up, and he let out a sigh of relief.

If his plan worked, the bomb would've blew up on him and blocked his view, because he added special chemicals to it that produced thick gas and fog. His spear, if his aim was good, would pierce it's flesh and harm it as well. He went for his heart, but it probably either hit his chest or his thigh.

Just now the girl had been trying to make her way out and all of a sudden everyone was fighting while she hid in the background, completely scared out of her mind. She had never fought before, since her brother and herself mostly kept away from dangerous places, she didn't know what to do but put her hands over her head and pray to the gods that this would be over. That's when something inside her surfaced, like a power inside she never had before, she had to get back to him, this seemed to be a cause for a determination as she looked over at the necromancer who begged for his life.

She quickly came over and stood in front of him, looking at the gang with a slightly scared look on her face but pulled her hand behind her, opening her palms as a soft light came from her palms, whispering a small phrase and directing it to the necromancer.
She then looked up and put her hands up, trying to calm the situation, looking very sheepish while she did so, trying not to look like she was about to pass out. "It's...It's okay, he can't do anything, it's okay, I don't want anyone to die, someone once told me dying is really bad"

@ Everyone

The grey-haired male had to admit that he was expecting a more bloody fight but what he wasn't expecting was a newer installation to the group who yelled out insults like a school boy. At the sound of "wear your mummy's trousers", Father Nicholas turned his head to glance at the male who had said that. The male had thrown a bomb at the now, fallen necromancer before managing a throw of a spear too. He couldn't help but allow one end of his lips to lift in an attempt to mask his amused smile. No one needed to know that an insult like that was what he found almost comical to a certain extent.

He could see that some of his comrades (was that what he called them?) in his platoon were getting slightly worn out from the battle. He thanked Gorelus internally for having the armoured man fight alongside them. He also noted that the bloodied priest who seemed vengeful in the beginning was now losing his energy and stride at trying to attack them too. Deciding to end this, Nicholas laid his palm flat by his side as he used his remaining strength to conjure up one more spell. After this, he swore he needed to train and use his magic before alongside mending his wounds from the debris fall.

After a few second, a few tail-looking ends begin to conjure up from the ground before they begin to form vines that were of again, of the same brownish-red colour. However, as they grew longer, large thorn-like spikes begin to grow on both of their sides. As they did so, the few streams of thorny vines slithered their way to the bloodied priest before wrapping themselves around his body, piercing his skin all at once, "Fuck off to Hell."

Nicholas felt his energy weakened even more as he told himself to hold on for dear life. He could see the vines squeezing the bloodied priest like a python would; slowly but providing for excruciating pain as he felt his bones shift slowly by the pressure, not to mention the presence of the thorns perforating him all at once.

As the battle persisted, the young mother started to become a little agitated. Now that the necromancer has been silenced, perhaps it will be a little easier. As the bloodied priest became enveloped in thorny vines brought by Father Nicholas, she simply shrugged before yanking out three arrows. Enough was enough. Sighing as she felt a dull pain in her stomach, which was from the baby kicking, she looked towards the Necromancer. "This. Ends. Now." She said coldly before yanking the bowstring back with the three arrows attached to it.

Taking aim at the Necromancer, she held it back as far as she could. After counting to ten, she released the bow string as all three arrows were headed straight for the necromancer! It didn't take long for the three arrows to diverge paths. While two of them were headed to the Necromancer, the third began to descend towards the bloodied priest. As for the Necromancer, both arrows seemed to be headed towards his lungs.

Rising up Sicarius flipped through her book again to find another easy story to summon to her side, but she couldn’t find any other pages with a story on it. Every other page was blank leaving on,y the story of the wolves in it, she looked perplexed for a moment before slamming the book closed and shoving it under her arm while she searched for something else to attack with, she spotted a loose floorboard and pull at it harshly. With a crack the board broke leaving Sicarius with a short piece of wood with a sharp edge.

Looking at the piece of wood the noble sighed and turned back to the fight, she raised her arm with the wood held tightly in her hand seeking to aim the wood at the priest. After some slight adjustment she launches the price of wood towards the priest rather weakly but it would still do some damage.

Once the battle came to an end, Ashley could finally breathe a sigh of relief. After sheathing her bow, she straightened out her dress and her cardigan before dusting herself off. It was a rather wonderful start to her day. From going into an abandoned cathedral, finding out that she has been chosen to save the world, then battling evil wizards. Briefly, she looked down at her swollen belly. Placing her hand on it, she smiled as she briefly felt the baby kicking and fidgeting. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt. However, she did take note that she needed to keep her distance in future battles and had to ensure that she wasn't hit in the stomach. One bad hit and she'd lose her baby. The thought of it turned her smile into a frown. One question she did end up have was would she be able to save the world before the baby arrives. However, that was another question for another time. For now she was going to focus on the people before her. When she noticed that one of the girls was close to crying, the young mother waddled over to her and gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Dearie, there are many ways to help people and keeping the world safe. Whether its slaying monsters or killing malevolent people." She spoke up. "We did what he had to do. It was either kill him...or let him kill us. We had to defend ourselves. Surely you understand that."

Everything was over within a few minutes and Nicholas couldn't help but shut his eyes for a few seconds, in relief and contemplation. Though it was brief, he admitted that it was a shame to see a comrade who fought alongside him had been sacrificed in the fight. All in love and war, I guess, he told himself before his right hand reached behind to tap lightly at the back of his neck.

The blood that came from the wound on the back of his neck was now dried up. He had the dead necromancer to thank for that. "Asshole." Was all he muttered to himself as he glanced down at the corpse of said individual that was just a few feet away from him.

Nicholas Lee didn't sustain many wounds from the fall but his body was aching. It ached more than after an exorcism session. He figured it might be because it was a rather strenuous fall but he pushed his thought away at the sound of the priestess speaking to him.

He sighed once again, this time out of repetition as he replied back curtly, "I told you to worry about yourself, Priestess." Though, he didn't make a move to flinch or move away when she tried to interact with the armoured man from behind her. In fact, he had to hold in a smirk at her tiptoe-ing.

However, at the sound of another female crying and whining about saving the world and killing people, he bit his tongue before telling himself that she was after all, not used to circumstances like these. It might be better for the others, that were undoubtedly more compassionate than he was to handle it.

NOVA
[Mood - Comforted, slightly confused]
[Oracle - lvl 5]

Nova seemed a lot better when she was grabbed by the ladies and calmed down, shaking and pressing against the other ladies. She cried softly, hoping to calm down soon and remembered a song her little brother would sing to her when she was distressed. With a gulp and sniffle and she breathed out and nodded. "....I still don't understand...but I'll try.." She whispered pressed a palm to her watering eyes, before putting a hand over her heart. She missed her brother so much already, but she would get back to him soon.
"Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love, and trust
Take a moment to think of just
Flexibility, love, and trust

Here comes a thought that might alarm you
What someone said and how it harmed you
Something you did that failed to be charming
Things that you said are suddenly swarming

And, oh, you're losing sight, you're losing touch
All these little things seem to matter so much
That they confuse you
That I might lose you

Take a moment, remind yourself
To take a moment and find yourself
Take a moment and ask yourself
If this is how we fall apart
But it's not, but it's not, but it's not, but it's not, but it's not
It's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay
You've got nothing, got nothing, got nothing, got nothing to fear
I'm here, I'm here, I'm here" She let the words take her way to another land for a moment, to calm down her senses and remind herself that everything was okay, she soon smiled and looked over at the two girls, pressing her palms to her cheeks shakily. "T-Thank you..uhm.." She muttered realizing she didn't know their names.

He didn't liked what he saw as a man died when he helped the group in a major way. Levi proceeded to talk to the group, "Is anyone alright?" He wasn't really fond of company but liked it when they payed him to be there. He needed a lifestyle to earn cash, it's not his fault that they get close and keep asking for it. He proceeded to go up to the priest and ask, "Hey daddy, you feelin' good? You got hit hard back there and just wanted to make sure." Levi realized that he called him 'daddy' but it made Levi slightly chuckle as he just thought of calling him daddy because of his mature appearance.

The man grabbed his neck chain and pulled it, the feeling of being dominated made him feel good but it usually depends on a person if they're into it or not. He saw some kind of black fabric fly in the air and land into his hands, it was slightly shimmering with some kind of word written within the tips of the long fabric. It's word grew with a slight purple but he proceeded to keep it and tie it around his waist, making a cloth belt out of it.

「 holding herself together 」

Eurielle turns to Nicholas and huffs, "I have a name, father!" She says with mild annoyance but she looks over to Levi who had called the bloodmancer 'daddy'. She grins and seems almost smug as she looks back over to Nicholas. "Call me Eurielle, daddy." She teases, looking quite proud of herself. The priestess looks away from the father now and to everyone else, humming in thought.

[Sicarius Knowles / Level 5 / Storyteller]
[Currently: Broken but trying to keep it together for everyone else]

Sicarius fell to her knees once the fight was over and covered her face with her hands, dropping the book with a dull thud as her mind ran rampant with emotions and thoughts. Was she a monster for claiming a life or was she doing what was right. She choked back a sob as she rose back to her feet, faining strength in this moment, she had to be strong for the others. Her gaze fell upon the dead body of her teammate and she remained stoic although her hands shaked as she made her way over to the body. The book layed open on blank pages that started to fill themselves with more stories, though the book was not complete, Sicarius had 2 more stories to call upon in battle.

She knelt down beside the boy who looked younger then herself and she closed his eyes, trying to make the body more slightly for her team. Crossing the arms over the chest she looked to the roof almost like she was in prayer, while she was not religious it seemed right at this moment. As the others joked she stayed silent by the body of the boy as a sort of vigil until his body could be taken or honored in someway.
