The forest was quiet, the deep green leaves looming over, casting large shadows below. Thick leather boots shifted forward into the casted shadows, crunching down the weight as twigs and grass flattened beneath it. His large and calluses hand pressed back against pitch black hair, a heavy blue hue watching over the path in front of him as he sighed slightly. It was a long journey, the ever race to beat the nightfall a daily battle in the passing of the Estrella forest. A hand trailed behind him, gently tugging a large brown horse in tow. The kings mansion was well protected by natural elements, but he’d be there soon.
-His eyes shifted across the break in the forest line, gazing over stone walls. The Northern Castle. Finally, it was here-

She watched happily from the tree tops. It was typically safe to be in the tree tops. Few had ever been able to follow her up into them, and those that did weren't able to keep up. Being in the tree tops allowed her to watch and learn without getting too close. She had been told so many times to keep away from those who she did not know, that it was too dangerous to get too close. The brilliance of her blue silver eyes danced in the sunlight, curious what this one was doing in her woods, after all not many dared to venture too deep in when it was coming upon nightfall, hell, there were few who wanted to travel in period out of fear of getting lost.

Part of that was her fault. Having been kept away from "outsiders" only made her more curious but she wasn't silly enough to just interact with them, that would be foolish, even she knew that. After all there were many out there who would kill to get their hands on her and what she was. Instead...well instead she had used her gifts to play tricks, to move trees and paths just to be able to watch for even a few moments more. It wasn't like she didn't put them back or help guide them back to their true path, but it scared them enough to cause the stories of what happened within them become inflated, it also caused the stories of the possibility of a creature such as her being in the woods, not that any had seen or found her.

Her fingers ran through her long dark hair as she watched the man and his horse. She wanted nothing more than to investigate the animal, after all, she'd never been able to get up close to one to be able to play or pet one, but that was highly unlikely to occur, after all, that would mean getting closer to the man.
