Zephyr was chilling holding out his water thing at Kore hoping she would use some water magic but instead she pulled him under the table. Man a big fight was about to erupt. He could see it "Maybe I used to be a bar fighter, this all seems familiar in a sense" he says to himself. The feeling he was actually feeling was that of hunger, not of remembrance but that did not change his thought. She told him to stay under the table but he really wanted to go out and confront the guys, he really wanted to see if it felt right. But as he went to run out the doctor lady grabbed him and threw him behind something next to another girl who had really weird colored hair. Then the doctor lady ran off. Zephyr slumped a bit back and nodded his head up and down, what he was doing, no one would ever know.

Zephyr looked to the new girl "We are in quite the cucumber...I think thats how that goes." Zephyr says tightening his gas mask, he clicked the filter on the front and he let out a gasp, his eyes got a lot wider, he looked a bit out of it as he did it. He did it without really paying attention. But he eventually came back "I want to go talk to that man, maybe he is just grumpy" Zephyr says peeking around where they were hiding just to watch flames rising through the town "You know what to do..." Zephyr says his eyes growing a bit cloudy again and his tone turning from that of an aloof tone to that of a blank one with no emotion. He turned to the girl with eyes all hazy and he got up and looked to the outskirts of town "I can't do anything...." he says in a fearful tone before changing to the dead sounding on "But you can" he says to himself. Zephyr looked to the outskirts of the town, he grabbed his bag and even though his heart was about to pop right out of his chest his legs started to lift himself up "I have to get out of here, I am feeling a bit ill" he says giving the girl a sort of bow, he just looked and sounded crazy though instead of kind. The wind sort of picked up around them as he freaked out.

Lucca Malkovich
Location: Town

Lucca was surprised that the black haired woman on top of him could get so flustered over such a little comment. It's almost adorable it if weren't for the fact that she immediately called him a coward once he suggested retreating, a TACTICAL retreat, just so it's clear. Well, maybe it was his wording that made it sound like he was going to just run away, but then she called him useless. Oh sure, thought Lucca, I'll just go ahead and get a freakin' power up and shoot lasers out of my hand. It's not as if he wanted to be useless.

But just as Lucca was about to say something back to her, the Giant went on ahead and tossed another building, and this time, with the help of the Orange Man, the building exploded into hundreds of pieces, and burning debris rained down from the sky. Lucca first instinct upon seeing this was to duck into a building or something, but before he could do any of that, he was grabbed by the black haired lady, and she pulled and pushed and tugged and shoved at him, and he felt as if a leaf in the wind, caught in a dance with the wind. Debris fell all around him, but not a single one touched him not even then they shattered upon crashing into the ground and fragments bursting forth from all directions.

By the time it all stopped, Lucca fell to the ground, the world around him continues to spin, and for a few seconds, he was unable to move. By the time he had recovered, the black haired lady had already gone, not giving him a chance to retort...... or even say his thanks. However, this is certainly not the time to be idle, and even Lucca had begun to move heading towards the forest, the safest place at the moment and where he believes he'll meet up with the rest. However, soon he was hit with a road block, as the way he's going had been suddenly littered with debris from the sky.

"Da fuk is wrong with these people!" he exclaimed, wasn't this gang supposed to be extorting this town, why destroy it to this degree. Are they freakin' idiots!? he asked himself, but after hearing Mr. Spook Ass' speech, Lucca was convinced, these people are freakin' morons. How dare they blame them for the destruction of this town? So what if they had maybe posed a threat? Oh, but we couldn't just sit down and talk like adults no, we have to bring a giant dude and explody man to wreak havoc else our procreation sticks would start to shrink. Lucca was getting rather mad with these people.

As the dust settles from the debris, familiar figures came into sight, the Scarlett, in the arms of Lil' Miss Sunshine of all people. Well, well, well, what do you know... But all things aside, this could work, with the members here, they could take down the Giant. The thing is, Lucca had heard about it, about how Scarlett's axe had never been broken by her strength before despite her power, some say it has been made especially for her to accommodate her strength and with that durability combined with Scarlett's strength, it should be more than enough to bring the Giant Man down. No doubt, Patrick will be mad at him for doing this, but there's really no time to get his permission, with Spooky Ass' speech right just then, who know how the towns people would react, if those living here decides to take matters into their own hands...... that cannot end well for anybody.

"Scarlett! Go for his heels, chop him down!" he yelled at her.

But there's another problem. How will she get close? The Giant isn't just going to let her walk up to him and start chopping. Ah, but there's the black haired chick, and just now Lucca had figured that her power has something to do with evasion, and it allows her to weave a path through the falling debris with ease.

However, will she help? That question was dispelled as soon as it was asked. Of course she will, thought Lucca, despite how she liked to present herself, it was clear, this lady here is a big freakin' softie. With Scarlett and her together, the Giant stood no chance alone. Hopefully the Explody Man and Spooky Ass are occupied long enough for the Giant to be taken down.

Nissa
upload_2017-7-24_22-41-28.png
Nissa stared at the nurse woman as she hid another male behind the bar, her eyes blinking slowly. She did not really have much emotion from Sera except righteousness, just like Khayn’s feelings. She sighed softly and turned to look at the males behind the bar.

“Safe…” She said sternly and blinked when the frail looking one… the NEW frail looking one got up, talking. Nissa wasn’t really paying attention to what he was saying, words meant almost nothing to her. “Cucumber…” She said slowly, her stomach growling at the thought of food. The person beside her was weird with his gas mask… “Don’t” She told him as he spoke of talking to the man… the gas mask boy was not that interesting to Nissa… what was interesting were his emotions… of lack of… confusion mainly.

“Stop. You are a non combatant.” Nissa said, the lack of emotion from him… causing confusion in her. She took a step towards him, her hand outreached to touch him and bring him back behind the bar. “Ill people stay here. Safe.” She spoke firmly, cursing Khayn slightly as the hero jumped out in wake of his cheesey
phoenix line. Probably off to save the day…. Wait… Nissa paused as she thought more on her thoughts… hmm her emotions were getting the better of her lately. Quickly she was a blank slate again, but still… odd...

Nissa sighed and looked up at the sky only to see the debris and wreckage raining down from Mr.Sizemore and Crackerjack… She blinked and went back inside quickly, picking up Einua over her shoulder. Her eyes met the man with glowing veins and she cocked her head at the door.

“Mr. Sizemore is here… buildings aren’t safe. Barkeep moved the townspeople and non combatant abnorms to safety. All except your group of course.” Nissa watched as the cyborg man snapped the bones in one thug and walked outside. She stepped over the body with Einua on her shoulder and looked at the cyborg man. “Thank you for clearing a path.” She looked up as the debris finally stopped falling. “Hmm…” The Harbinger’s voice rang out to them all and Nissa knew he was talking to the abnorms who dared fight back.

Nissa was blank faced even though all the buildings a little fars aways in front of her exploded from Crackerjacks antics. Nissa raised her voice since she still stood in the doorway of the bar so all there could hear her, “BUILDING MAY EXPLODE. MOVE!” She sighed and huffed a bit more as she made her way further from the bar. She spoke to the boy on her back, “Are you alright? Can you fight? We need to fight if anyone wants to live.” Her calming monotone voice was tinged with darker tone, her thoughts going to the dark haired rust eyed woman from before… the very interesting one.
Nissa waited, not knowing where to go with this boy who either needed to stand up and bear down or be hidden away for safety.

Kore Dair
Taking a few deep breaths as she prepared for her likely suicidal plan, Kore got into position, scaling the buildings and staying out of sight. Soon enough, she got onto the building behind the giant, staying hidden behind the roof as she peeked over at him. He was pretty scary (okay, he was terrifying), and she really just wanted to run away and not look back - but she knew she could do this.
On her face was that murderous expression she had begun to use more often since she'd joined the group, probably not a good thing...
Steeling herself up, she hopped over the roof, and stood up on the tallest part, climbing the chimney as she kept her eyes trained on him, his back was to her.
This is probably the craziest thing you have ever done, Kore. She took another few deep breaths, before she jumped.
The branches around her feet pushed off as well, giving her extra lift and speed as she flew through the air, her eyes locked onto the back of the giants neck. Where, if she had angled herself right, she would land.
Unfortunately for her, giants move, and she ended up landing with an "Oof!" onto his shoulder. Muttering curses under her breath, she scrabbled towards his neck, her hands and feet slipping. She wasn't going to make it.
Deciding now was a better time than any, she pulled one arm back as if she were going to punch him, but branches quickly formed a pike at the end of her hand, slick with some sort of liquid, and she stabbed it with all of her might into his shoulder. Which was pretty strong with all the plant matter pushing with her - and the pike burrowed deep into his shoulder.

Mr. Sizemore

Mr. Sizemore was rearing back from his most recent attack aimed at Vira and Scarlett. The ground now had a large gash ripped through it like path through a farm field, buildings and other debris were smashed and shoved to the sides. While Vira and Scarlett recuperated, he prepared to attack some other enemies. That was when the large Abnorm felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. "Ow!" he growled, his voice thundering. Quicker than you'd imagine, his opposite arm swung back and grabbed at the person there. Kore, he now held in his hand, snatched right from her place upon him. Parting his hand for just a second to look at the person there, he glared down at her. He slapped his other hand upon her and began to squeeze them together, like he was compacting a snowball.

Kore yelped as she was plucked from her position, something she thought would happen. She looked up at the giant, and flinched, curling into a ball as he brought his hand down, squeezing her eyes shut and putting her hands protectively over her head. She had, however, prepared for such a thing, and before he could moosh her into jam, branches and plants formed a ball around her.
Creaking under the pressure of his immense strength, more branches came and replaced those that splintered and fell apart under the pressure - but there was only so much space, and that was slowly getting tighter and tighter. And, there were only so many branches around her, and despite her using up quite some energy to expand her store, her supply of plant matter was very, very quickly depleting.
Not able to help herself, Kore screamed at the top of her lungs - and as she did, branches shot out from her ball like spikes, impaling his hands, and still covered in that slimy liquid that was deposited into him.
Still screaming, the pressure on her was hurting quite a bit now, nettles and thorny bushes that she had collected earlier whipped about, cutting and stinging his hands, wrapping around his fingers, their intent to cause him the most pain possible, and still more branches burrowing into his flesh. But, she was running out of plants, and it was beginning to get seriously hard to breathe as the pressure on her lungs increased.

Jackson watched as Khayn transformed out the window as he heard the threat from the gang to turn themselves in. He turned back to the gang members in front of him and growled at them before bumping his fists a bit harder this time. "One last chance guys! You do not want to fight me." Surprisingly, they all yelled and ran off causing Jackson to sigh as he also exited the bar, but looked up to see a giant human, most likely an abnormal. ~Crap! How in the hell are we supposed to defeat him?~ Jackson then saw a small speck attack him causing the giant to swat at his neck and by the looks of things capture whatever was attacking him. ~Theres only one way we can win it seems, I need to go full power and I have to get up to him. Who could?~ Suddenly a lightbulb went off in his head, ~Scarlett!~ her abnormality involved throwing things a lot bigger than she was and Jackson was one of those things. His veins still glowing crimson, he listened for anything out of the ordinary as he heard several others screaming. Running in that direction, Jackson soon came upon Scarlett fighting tooth and nail with Vira against the giant as well. He screamed at her the following, "SCARLETT! THROW ME UP AT HIS HEAD!"

With one final groan Patrick opened his eyes, he was staring right at Snow. Patrick stalked out from behind the wardens, the thugs yelled something he couldn't hear over the strange but pleasant song in his head, and they charged. Patrick's pistol appeared in his hand as if it had always been there, and the first thug found himself staring down the barrel of a ,45.

A gun shot rang out and the thug fell backwards a clean hole blown clear through his head, before the stunned thugs had time to realize what had just happened the gun tracked to a different thug. Another shot rang out, then another, and again, every time the gun kicked a thug died. Patrick's hand was a blur as he stood in the center of a rapidly shrinking ring of gang members.

When the gun finally clicked empty, only six of the goons remaind standing, shocked expressions on every face.

The pistol slowly slid back into it's holster, and Patrick's hands came up still sheathed in brass. He was on the first thug in the blink of an eye, a left straight shattering the man's jaw with a wet popping sound. As the man fell away screaming through his smashed teeth his comrades seemed to find they're backbones and charged the lone soldier.

Unfortunately for the second thug Patrick also knew where to find his back bone, the old soldier swayed away from the man's clumsy swing pivoting on his left foot a left jab slicing in to separate the man's second and third vertabrae.

The third thug dropped with a gurgled yelp when a set of brass knuckles crushed his throat, and the fourths head spun nearly completely around with a crunch when a right hook connected.

The fifth thug ran in screaming holding a sword and cleaved down only catching air as Patrick again swayed his upper body, the sword split the air only centimeters from his face but was quickly answered with a barrage of blows that sounded like one long meaty thud.

The last goon stared in abject terror as the Soldier turned his storm eyed gaze on him. The goon took a step back but gritted his teeth and ran at the Soldier, a knife swinging wildly. Patrick cuaght the thugs arm just below the wrist and twisted hard, the sound of his bones snapping resounded loudly down the street. Almost as loudly as the man's screams when Patrick reversed his grip and twisted the other way.

Patrick stood from his place kneeling next to Snow, and replied to Third as he stalked out from behind the wardens, So much has changed since then Third, most notably...me.

Exactly seventeen seconds later Patrick stood over the bloodied corpse of the last thug still holding the battered arm in his hand. The soldier looked up as another smaller group of gang members rounded the corner further down the street from them. The thugs cried out in horror when they saw him. One of the explosions and set a bunch of buildings on fire, and the spotty light that the fires provided only allowed the gang members make out Patrick's outline. They saw glowing eyes flickering at them from over a pile of they're dead comrades, blood dripping from the figures hands, and oil black smoke billowing around it. For all the claim about The One gang being fanatics they sure ran like normal people.

The Projections - The Bar

He ran and ran through alleys and walls as to dodge the debris that seem not to end, burning those whom not had hidden from such a rain. Everything behind the First lighted up in flames and the walls near by suddenly broke on sight. The destruction blinded his step but his course of action remained, forward. Ashes raised from the ground level creating the fog of wars, limiting everyone's vision. The Projection seem to had materialized itself partially, just to avoid mayor injuries as he continues his chase to reach the bar.

But finally, he would find the projections, the rest of them. Second, Third and Fifth; and a fourth that had nothing to do with them - Patrick himself. The First threw his chains and hanged a thug near by, throwing him to the ground and break his neck all at the same time - with this display, The First stood among them as he united with the formation, "You took your time-" the Second responded quickly in which The First only growled in response, "We can not stand here forever. We must move."

The Fifth dropped down shooting two arrows to another thugs shouting as if he was going to end the battle by just screaming, "What about the town-folk?" wondering if they should take them to safety, until the Third so added, "West side has fallen - We are running out of options." her sword raised over her shoulders, taking position to hold the ground. Until the voice of a child - the building was about to explode and there was nothing they could do about it. The group dashed away, not looking back as they waited for the so expected destruction of the building - though First spoke at last, "No- Kill the head, the body will fall. The head is near - I want it in a spike." "Can't deny I share the feeling-" the Fifth let himself carry on with the First's statement, as he shook his head, "Not the spike thing - but we should stop them."

"There is no point - this chaotic emerged from someone that has yet to arrive. We must scatter our forces and follow them to their lair."
The Third responded as she would usually do. But they would remain beside Patrick just in order to protect him from a complete ambush or whatever new danger would arrive with the enemies retreating, "Mr O - The Warden gave you a special treat, tell us where you want us." The Fifth would come with an opinion of his own, "Send us to rescue every living men, women and child - we must save as many as we can. The flames and chaos will be their doom!" the Third would so interrupt, "Whatever the odds, they are not good. We must return to observe and gather information. Their lair must be near by-" no matter the First's opinion; being an obvious one, he spoke it anyways, "I say we kill them all. Forget about the people's salvation - We must kill them here and now."

Whatever the measure the Projections would take it seem more like a test, a test for Patrick. They were not going to act without The Warden's guidance - and The Warden would not give any order but accept Mr O's judgement. Not because he trust it, but to understand how changed is he. Probably this would not be such a secret for Patrick to understand since he knows how The Warden operates - but does it matter? At this very moment, the only thing left to do is to make a decision, even choosing nothing would be a decision of it's own. The Second would interrupt that line of thought, "What is it going to be, Mr O? We can't divide ourselves the tasks - We must stay together and fulfill one quickly."

Mr. Sizemore

The big suited man groaned out, feeling spikes stabbing his hands. He felt some of the branches sink deeper than he wanted. It was almost like squeezing a hedgehog or something, but he was a powerful Abnorm. You didn't get to his position within The One being weak-willed. He drew in a breath, and seemed to grow in size just a bit, his holes and wounds shrinking simultaneously. His muscles rippled, and with some thunderous grunts, the big man squeezed down tighter. Very near his hands the splinters and cracks of the wood Kore thought would protect her began to snap. If she remained unaided for long, she would definitely be smashed like a bug. Did her self-defense hurt? Yes, but Mr. Sizemore would ultimately get over some painful pricks.

She couldn't scream anymore, she had to safe what little movement her lungs could make for breathing. A lone tear escaped her eye - she hadn't exactly wanted to die like this... She could only hope that her plan had worked, despite her death. It would make life easier for the rest of the group, at least. Give her a legacy.
I... I'm glad I got to meet some people and get to know them a little before I died. She gasped for breath like a fish out of water, the creaking and cracking around her becoming quieter as she began to drift in and out of consciousness.
This is it. I'm going to die.....

The rooftops were bare, save for a few metal structures that were just big enough for Sera to conceal herself. From her position, she took cover as it rained down flaming debris, scattered through the town like massive shrapnel. Beams, bundles of smoking wood, all of it left destruction in their wake -- and that was just one building. Fortunately, the building she was on is still standing, despite heavy rumbling from where the missiles impacted the walls and a hole in the roof. Inching over to the edge, still partially concealed to the giant, she looked around to see who was nearby. Jackson, Scarlett and the Woman. They were the only ones she could see at the moment with all the smoke obstructing her vision.

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Sera took short glances at the giant. The situation was looking rather bleak -- she only has a knife, a military-grade knife but still wouldn't do enough damage. Times like these is where you need to hit the weakpoints: eyes, soft spots like beneath the elbow, knee, or the ankle. The ankle would have to do, everywhere else is too high and by the time she got close, it would be too late. Speed is of the essence. There is no room for hesitation nor error. Especially when suddenly Kore shot out from a few rooves away onto the giant's shoulder, covered in what looked like floral armor. A walking forest! Sera adjusted herself against the object she was behind to get a better look, cheering silently for Kore. But the cheering soon turned to dread when the giant swiftly grabbed her after she had stabbed a sizeable branch into, and began to slowly squeeze her. 'No!'

Without thinking, Sera bolted from her cover back down the fire escape, skipping steps, and simply jumping down the ladder in her haste. The direction of the giant was singed into her mind as she hurdled trash and bodies in the alleys. When she heard Kore's scream, Sera felt something spreading inside as she put more speed into her legs, rounding corners until she found an alley that let her get close as possible without being spotted.

He had grown bigger still. Steeling her nerves, Sera ran to the giant's right foot, and began slashing away, twisting the blade as she drove it in, leaving holes as big as her fingers. It felt like stabbing into thick armor. Each time she went in, it took great effort to pull it out, but she kept hacking at the foot, hoping to buy time for Kore and whoever had a plan going.

Snow
f4Gd4VglnhYMUl1nnRdGqEM1bhc.gif

Snow watched as Patrick fell, her small steps backward echoing in her ears. Tears fell from her eyes for Patrick looked to be in such pain as her blood made him… forced him to power up. Smoke was coming out of his body, his skin was lighting up red… oh god what had she done?! He stood and Snow did not know what to do as their eyes met. Oh… his usual kind gray eyes were charged with blue specks. “Patrick…” She whispered, stepping closer to this super solider of a man but stopped when he told her to stand behind the strangers that he called the wardens.

Then he turned to fight…

The blood, the chaos… Her blood song sang louder to drown the crunching of bones and flesh… To Snow, Patrick fought to a melody, everything beautiful and horrible all at once. She flinched as the splatter of brain matter and blood coated the ground from Patrick’s gun.

The mans jaw went so far one way that Snow knew even with the noise cancelled out for her… it had been completely broken. Blood splatted onto her face as she watched, not moving an inch. She had not known what… what Patrick’s abilities were… but this was something she had never seen. The violence kept reminding her of one moment… and it played alongside this.

She gasped out, her voice no longer available for her, as Patrick kicked into a man’s spine and then punched through his throat, and strangth left her as she fell to her knees. Snow finally turned her head, shutting her eyes tight as the blood song played, alerting her that Patrick was suffering no hits or damage… nothing.

When she finally opened her eyes to see the super soldier kneels beside her, she sniffled, unable to feel scared of him because of the blood bond. Relief washed over her and Snow knew then that the taking of will was a two sided street in her power. Her blood would not let her feel what she had when had seen Ryu as the fox… terror mixed with the stamping of feet as she ran.

No… all she could feel now was happiness. Patrick was alright. She hugged him tightly, crying as the song died down in her ears, the towns wreckage clear to her. She let go as Patrick stood and went out of the wardens circle. More thugs came and fear gripped her heart. But they saw exactly what would happen to them if they came near… and ran off.

Buildings were exploding and the little pink haired girl could be heard screaming that the bar was endanger. She looked to Patrick, walking towards him slowly before putting her hand in his blood soaked one. The blood of his enemies on her as well.

She turned to look at the now four people who asked for Patrick or Mr. O, to give them orders. The newest one sent shivers down Snow’s spine and she scooted away from him just a bit, her blood eyes bright red right now and her hair pure white. Save everyone, gather information, or kill… Snow looked up for a moment and saw the strangest thing… Kore jumping onto a giant… AND GETTING SQUASHED!

“Patrick! Patrick we need to save Kore!! Tell them to save Kore! Look!!” She pointed to this giant’s clasping hands. Snow pulled her hand from his and took off, running in that direction, thought honestly not in her head… when she got worked up like this Snow didn’t really think things through.

She just knew… she could not let Kore, someone who had saved them die for it.

Ryuji Nakamoto/The Fox & Khayn Powers

The fox watched as explosive bands of energy were coming towards him. Fool, give me a way to propel myself forward and I'll kill you. He sped up, pushing himself towards his limits as a cry caught his attention. Looking up, he witnessed a woman covered in flora fighting the giant. Kore! Ryuji snapped up and changed directions, the Fox suddenly pushed to the back of his mind. Damn it all to hell and back. He cursed as he positioned himself in between a couple of the incoming explosives. "This is gonna hurt!" He muttered as he jumped, just as the explosions were coming to land. The shockwave firing him off like a cannon towards the giant. I'm coming Kore. Ryuji thought as he zoomed through the air, only to realize he'd be a bit short.

Khayn looked over as the battle with the giant grew wilder, a hostage even being taken. "I'll be back for you Harbinger." Zipping forward at incredible speeds, Khayn witnessed a man being propelled into the sky by a pair of explosions. His skin looked singed and he should've been in a lot of pain, but it seemed he didn't care as his focus was on the giant's fists, with the hostage. Grabbing hold of the boy's arms, Khayn looked down. "Need a lift?"

"More than I'd like to admit." Ryuji sighed as the pair zoomed towards his hand. "Think you get the giant's attention? My size won't let me free her from both his hands."

"I can manage, but what about when he lets go?" Khayn saw that his talons, which were digging into the boys arms, weren't causing him to bleed. "What kind of terrifying ability do you have?!" Khayn seemed surprised as they grew closer.

"Don't worry about it. Just get the giant to let go of the girl!" Ryuji snarled as they came over the Sizemore's hands. "Drop me."

"Bombs away." Khayn quoted as he let Ryuji fall the short distance onto Sizemore's fingers before flying into the man's ear, his back sprouting quills like a porcupine. "You really should clean this out." Khayn turned his back deeper into his ear. "Let me help with that." The quills came flying out like a barrage of bullets, going deep towards the man's eardrum.

Ryuji landed just in time for his arms to heal fully. "Hang on Kore, I'll get you out of here." Ryuji was tired, he just took control back from the Fox and although he was serious, the fox was fuming inside him.. It was only a matter of time before control switched back if he kept the mask on. He needed to wait for his chance, pulling out his knife and aiming for a joint in the giant's thumb primarily holding Kore. "Come on you blasted bird, get on with this." He hoped that this would work, otherwise, he was going to risk being squashed too.

Scarlett O'Hare

She was already winding up to slash open this monster's hand when someone dared to intervene with her assault. It was the scary woman form earlier. She was tyring to save her? Like she was worth it. It didn't matter though. KILL EVERYONE WHO GETS IN YOUR WAY SCARLETT. The voice of her former master rang true as she grabbed hold of Vira while they rolled about. The minute the woman let go, Scarlett snarled. "Stay out of my way," before looking towards the sky and chucking Vira towards the crazy man in the sky. Without the woman in her way, Scarlett readied herself as people tried to give her orders. WHO'S YOUR MASTER SCARLETT? ME? OR THESE FOOLS WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU? Scarlett snarled as she focused her strength on her legs, the ground giving way under the pressure. "I'm coming for you bitch." She hissed as she kicked up, the force of her launch creating a gale force wind behind her, leaving a crater where she once stood. Now she had momentum and was headed straight for the giant's ankle. YES SCARLETT. GO FOR THE ANKLE, TEAR IT OPEN AND BRING HIM DOWN. Scarlett put both hands on her weapon, she was aiming to put all her strength into one swing. If she connected, there'd definitely be some damage to his leg.

Morgan Llewellyn

Out of breath, Morgan came around the corner as someone started telling someone named Scarlett to throw them. "Why....would....you want...someone.....to....throw....you?" She asked as she realized it was the guy from the table. "Strange to see you figh....." Her words were cut off by his glowing red fists. "Oi, your power involves punching? If it does, can I borrow you for a sec? We need to stop crackerjack from blowing up more of the town. Sizemore's just a walking ball of muscle. If you can knock back some of the explosives, I may be able to take down Crackerjack. Or at least weaken him a bit." Her breath finally caught up but she knew she'd be holding him back. "Could you expose some skin? I need to touch your for a second." Morgan only realized how wrong that sounded in the middle of heated combat. Her face going flushed red at the thought. "I mean I have to make skin contact for my power to work. I drain energy from people. And right now, I won't be able to keep up with you." That was a bit better, though it was still weird. She just hoped the man would trust her.

Vira

Tib199u.png

With the goons of the gang fighting in the streets and falling quickly their numbers were dwindling at staggering rates. It seemed there were many Abnorms around that were proving too difficult for regular henchmen to handle. The One here was quite a large gang, but still managed to be under The Devil and His Demons. Which just made one wonder how powerful that gang was.. anyway. The people, too, were rallying. They were already tired of the harsh treatment of their town; survivors grabbed any sort of makeshift weapon, knives, hoes, rakes, even fallen swords and clubs from defeated gang members. As a mob they were fighting back too, causing Harbinger to groan in exacerbation.

Vira was stunned at the response of the girl she had saved. "Hey if I hadn't inter..-" She couldn't even respond to Scarlet or the man with the mask that ran up before she was sent flying through the air, tossed by the very small girl she had rescued. She had planned on commenting on what Jackson had to say, saying it sounded like a good enough idea to try. It seemed Scarlet thought so, too, cuz Vira was the one shooting through the air. Though she could sense danger, she had been right beside Scarlet, and hadn't managed to respond in time, surprised the small girl would react in such a way. It only pissed the darkhaired woman off, but she turned to see Harbinger nearing her.

Feeling bitter about being ignored, Harbinger sighed angrily. "Five minutes are up. It seems my warning has gone unheeded. Very well. Don't blame me for your doom. You all chose it." He saw Vira flying towards him and wide grin spread across his features. "Ah! First victim! The bitch that brought us here. You all had a chance before, letting us kill this one with no fuss... But nope. Unfortunately, you all have sinned. So now her meager death isn't enough." With that he reared back, and spun around, slashing his hands down at her, sickle gleaming in the light of the fires.

Unfortunately for Vira, on a direct-route to Harbinger, she had no option to avoid for once. Flying through the air her power was burning wildly, but as soon as Harbinger swung an attack, she felt the worst spark of her power in a long time. It was so hot, that she had never quite felt it before. This ping of her power was unlike any before.. save for maybe once.. It was an alarm sounding, telling her she could not avoid this immediate danger. Which was scary in its own right. "AHHHEIIIEEH!" Vira screamed out, shuddering as actual pain shot through her, when a sharp wind blade collided with her. Vira blasted backwards toward the ground. Still too stunned from finally feeling an attack after years, she hit shed, crashing against its roof, bouncing and flipping wildly. She collided with the ground with a thud, skidding along the ground, dust disturbed from her body hitting the ground and shed, that had splintered against her impact.

Still attempting to crush the woman in his hands, Mr. Sizemore noticed out of the corner of his eyes that someone was flying towards Harbinger. The ghastly man had that under control. But in noticing, he saw out of the corner of his eye, someone flying towards his ankle. The small girl-speck below seemed to fly at him with purpose. He had no sixth-sense of danger, but he could spot an attempt at an attack along a purposeful path. He was about to intercept, lifting his foot, when he felt a cut into the soft skin of his thumb area. "AUGH!" He grunted in pain, hands opening, shaking off. Both who were there -Ryuji and Kore- released only to fall. This caused him to stagger out of position from Scarlett's attack. Then he felt the thing land in his ear, like when a mosquito buzzed around your ear. He felt the annoying, painful pricks within there. Then he felt a sharp pain at his foot, a slash cutting deep, but not super deep that he would fall instantly, since he had already moved and staggered seconds before. The tiny cuts from Sera with her knife weren't as bothersome.

Harbinger sighed, seeing this shameful display. "Oh come on, don't be this weak, dammit." He held out his hands forward, then yanked them back, the swiped them off to the side. Winds built up within Mr. Sizemore's ears, only to blast out of them, yanking the Abnorm out of there. Together with the two falling -Kore and Ryuji-, the three were then brushed hardly aside with winds that sent them flying just like Vira. Simultaneously, freed from the assailants bothering him, Mr. Sizemore positioning himself, by slamming his foot hard down into the ground right beside Scarlett and Sera, sending out a powerful quaking shockwave. Meanwhile Crackerjack had noticed the mob of citizens. He, too, sighed, only it was out of slight pause, not frustration. He knew he had to follow orders, punishing the people. Orbs of orange-energy were tossed up, falling to rain smallish explosions over the town once more, breaking up the mob with dangerous explosions.

Ryuji Nakamoto/The Fox

"Kore!" The minute the giant opened his hands he dove towards her, grabbing hold of the branches and sliding closer to her, placing his hands on her shoulder. He figured this was going to hurt a lot worse than the night before. And just as if to emphasize the point, the giant generated winds. "Aww shit." He was flying through the air, still clutching to Kore as they were tossed about like a rag doll. Pain filled his senses as he was whipped by branches. "Kore, drop the armor!" He cried out into the gale as they grew closer to the ground. Impact was inevitable, he just prayed that he'd be able to survive the hit. He twisted their weight as they grew closer to a building, his shoulder snapping as they rolled across the roof. Boroken, dislocated, shattered, I wonder which one it is if not all three? He cursed his body's shortcomings as pain coursed through him. He hardly even noticed several of the branches that were impaled into his stomach, a liquid dribbling down them. Presuming she holds to my nickname, that's probably poison. He grunted as he rolled the girl off of him and reached for the branches. "I hate this part." He hissed as he slowly pulled out one of the branches in his stomach, The pain unfathomable for those that didn't experience it. The clatter of wood on wood sounded the end of the first one, his body focusing its healing there rather than his utterly useless right shoulder. Weak little kitsu. The fox is what holds the power. "Shut up." He muttered as Ryuji forced his hand to the second branch. Grunts filled the air as he removed the second of three branches. He would likely pass out from blood loss at this rate, but his body NEEDED to have the branches removed if he were to survive. "Last one." Screams of agony flooded the air, as this branch had briar, making removing it even more excruciating than the last. "I'm so killing these fuckers in their sleep." Ryuji hissed as he passed out. The loss of blood, giving him no chance to fight.

Khayn Powers

Just as he was thinking of sending an electrical charge down the giant's ear a breeze pulled him right out. "Curse you villain!" He cried out as he was tossed into the air. Think small and survivable. The words flashed across Khayn's mind as a small bug appeared. "A roach!" Quickly becoming the small insect. The breeze tossed him about until he was in freefall. Spreading his wings, Khayn managed to stop his fall, but watched as the lad from earlier and the girl who'd been getting crushed toppled onto a building. "Such violence and power." Khayn shuddered as he lowered himself onto a building, changing back to his human form. "Even if I were to become an elephant I'd be a play thing for him." Khayn had no way of taking down any of these three. "Their powers are ridiculous." He muttered as he remembered what the WG had referred to such powerhouses before. "Is.....this what an S rank is like?!" He only just realized what it meant to be so powerful that armies should fear you. It was nearly crippling, but the cries of the townsfolk awoke him. "Oh well." He shook himself and slapped his cheeks. "No matter how grand the challenge or slim the odds. I am a hero, and I will save everyone." He needed a plan though. And there was just no way for him to come up with one with so many in danger.

Scarlett O'Hare

She made contact. She hit him with all of her might, an even greater force than she'd thrown cars with, but it just staggered him. No breaking bones, no snapped ligament, it was like she'd just smacked her nearly unbreakable axe against a nearly unbreakable wall. IT DOESN'T MATTER DOG. YOU KEEP BITING. YOU KEEP CLAWING. YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO BRING THIS GOLIATH DOWN. But I can't! Scarlett's own voice cried out in her mind as she was thrown back by the shockwave. She was at the point of just accepting death. Heck, even taking them up on their offer to surrender was more feasible than fighting such colossal power. I'm not strong enough. I've NEVER been strong enough. She felt the pain of tumbling over the debris from earlier, her fingers still clinging to her axe. Laying there she looked up at the massive beast that she had aimed to take down. Even hitting a weakpoint did nothing but move him. I could spend the last of my energy throwing myself at him, but it would just be pointless. Then die in the mud like the dog you are. She didn't move. She knew she could. There was still energy left in her body. She could throw her axe with all her might and hope that it would sever his Achilles tendon, but even if it did, what then? The giant would just fall and crush everyone. No, she would just lay there and wait for her inevitable death.

Jackson frowned behind his mask when Scarlett ignored him and set to work on fighting Sizemore. Of course, the individual from the bar approached him and was surprised at first that Jackson was an abnormal. Any surprise was soon set aside as they explained about CrackerJack, his explosives, and that he'd be a better target to fight against. He raised his eyebrows as the woman requested to drain some of his powers. Looking her over, she didn't exactly have the body to handle his abnormal and he was afraid that it would actually hurt more than it would help. "It involves channeling strength and then force to specific parts of my body, right now fists and arms are the only thing that can be proper vessels. As for draining some of my powers, I'm not sure if yours can handle the constant surge and the possible forces caused by collisions. The resulting forces caused by said collisions can result in a backlash and tearing of ligaments if you're not used to it." Jackson realized he was starting to talk complicated mumbo jumbo much like how his mother spoke, so he decided to tone it down. "In layman's terms, I don't think your body can handle the forces associated with this abnorm. Plus, the state I'm in right now, it's an upgrade through a couple years of training, not simply picking it up. But I will help you take down Crackerjack if my power, based on what you've said, is the best suited to counter his"

Kore Dair
Kore was out cold, and completely oblivious to the rescue that took place, and the subsequent events after it. Her lungs began to pump, sucking in as much air as they could after being squeezed until she couldn't breathe.
She landed quite hard as they hit the floor - but luckily there was only a slight bump on her head, as she remained unconscious while Ryuji tended to his wounds.
Finally, her eyes fluttered, and she coughed as her lungs gasped in dust and matter, her eyes still closed as she moaned and rolled onto her side. She felt awful, like she had died but death had rejected her and sent her back into her broken body. Opening her eyes, she stared at the ground as she mentally checked herself. Thank god... Nothing seems to be broken. She was very badly bruised, and her ribs were creaking - they had almost been crushed to bits, another few seconds and they would have been shattered into a million pieces. But they weren't - and Kore thanked her lucky stars that she hadn't come out of the encounter worse off.

Finally, she looked around her - seeing that the giant was still at large, but she was quite a distance away - she assumed her had thrown her. Looking beside her, she focused in on her saviour. Ryuji, who was slumped over and surrounded in blood.
"Ryuji...?", she whispered hoarsely, looking up at him. No response.
"Ryuji?", her voice croaked as she said his name louder this time, dry coughing followed it as her vocal chords strained. Still no response.
Worried now, she groaned as she rolled onto her stomach, and lifted herself onto her hands and knees, her head pounded as her vision blurred for a second and she had to pause, but slowly made her way over.
Looking down, she saw the problem. Three stakes that lay around him, slick with blood. Her eyes widened as she froze in shock. They.... They would have been covered in poison - the nightshade that she had mushed up and covered her branches with - intended for (and given to) the giant.
Oh my god. She dragged herself closer, a shocked, cold chill coming over her. H-he can heal this, right? If he's... She reached up a shaking hand to his neck, she didn't realise she was shivering, despite the heat. Putting a hand on his neck, she waited, holding her breath as her terrified eyes waited for... There! It was weak, but she felt a pulse. She slumped down, sighing in relief. At least he was alive - but she didn't know if he would be able to survive the hit of poison, she sat down beside him - this was as good a place as any to rest, it was out of the way of everything else that was going on, at least. She took a few more deep breaths, wincing as her ribs creaked, and tried to stop herself from shaking.
I-it's my fault... If he dies... I killed him. She was stunned, and very worried for him. But there wasn't anything she could do but watch and wait, she was too scared to try and move him or examine his wounds. She was in no condition to do much of anything, battered and bruised as she was - so she decided to stay by Ryuji and watch over him and keep an eye out, just in case.

Nicholas grabs a thug as he charges at him and flips him over, he stomps on the man's ribs and then steps over him. Nicholas had to help anyone who needed it. He runs down a street and turns down an alleyway, he jumps over some debris and comes to a halt at the scene of the giant, he gulps down his fear. This was no normal abnorm but it did explain the large scale destruction. Nicholas looks back down the street and then towards the giant and shakes his head, he had to help

Kiroshiven Kiroshiven

Gift…? Peering down at her own hands, Kaia flexed her slender fingers while her brow furrowed in confusion. Some gift…she still didn’t quite believe it had really been her that had given him freezer burn. At his next comment, she held her breath and puffed her cheeks out slightly in annoyance, rolling her eyes and snatching back her cloak she had been so willing to give only moments earlier. “No, of course not,” she huffed in reply while crossing her arms, though if she was truly honest with herself, that statement was probably a lie.

“You’re a sweet girl Kaia.”

Her pursed lips loosened slightly and she didn’t turn her head, but her violet eyes wandered back to his face somehow, no matter how hard she tried to keep them away. When he seemed confused about her tattoos, her body language instantly changed and she studied his behavior intensely. “You…you really don’t know, do you?” she murmured, barely audible. As he then proceeded to explain his background, she absentmindedly rubbed the back of her neck. If he was from a different continent altogether…then that would explain why he wouldn’t know about the Prophets or their dirty little secret. She was quite deep in thought when he subtly changed positions that she didn’t even notice him drawing nearer until his warm breath feathered her exposed skin. Instantly becoming rigid, her cheeks flushed that familiar crimson hue, this time with much more intensity, and she swallowed nervously.

"Let me say this to you Kaia. Those tattoos don't mean anything when I'm around. Okay princess?"

Princess...? Is…is he…flirting with me..? A whirlwind of thoughts consumed Kaia’s mind at his gentle, mischievous nature. Everything with her previous…master had been so forceful. And the times he did whisper to her, it always had contained some sort of underlying threat to do her harm if she didn’t comply. This…this felt oddly innocent. A completely foreign concept to her. The breath from his whisper tickled her neck, which produced a multitude of goosebumps along her fair skin. Flashbacks of the abuse she suffered in her previous master’s care still gripped her with such icy fear, but for some reason she couldn’t run away. Her body jerked away slightly in response at first - a muscle memory reaction it had learned in order to protect itself - but oddly enough it then changed course and leaned into him slightly, curious and strangely wanting to experience more of this new feeling.

Kaia nearly jumped out of her skin at the sudden screams that erupted from within the center of town, effectively snapping her out of her trance and severing the touch between herself and Ryuji. Ryuji appeared to mumble something in an aggravated tone while Kaia peered over his shoulder at the chaos beginning to unfold. From the lack of heavy artillery, she guessed that it probably wasn’t WG, which was a relief. Though if it was Prophet thugs and bounty hunters, that was an entirely different problem. One that was much more dangerous for the blue haired abnorm. One of the raiders got a little too close for Ryuji’s liking and was swiftly taken out, which allowed Kaia to get a good look. All the air she’d been holding in her lungs in anticipation released in a wave of relief. They weren’t Prophets. She could tell that much from their eerie eye-shaped markings. Most likely part of The One.

"Stay close Kaia, but whatever you do, don't get in front of me."

Fastening her cloak around her slender neck tightly, she nodded reluctantly in accordance with his strong tone of voice and tugged her long, straight blue locks back into a hasty ponytail, this time without verbal protest. Normally she would have taken the time to braid them neatly and keep them away from her face, but obviously there was no time for that now. Strands of sky blue hair stuck out and haphazardly framed her thin face while her violet eyes remained locked on Ryuji the entire time. She could see an immediate change in his body language the moment he adorned that fox mask once more…there was something about it. Almost as if…it wasn’t just a mask. It had put her on edge the very moment she’d first laid eyes on it. She then witnessed Ryuji’s eyes darken into emotionless pits, causing her to try and swallow a lump that began to form in her throat.

“Well don’tcha look at that blue haired beauty,” one thug out of a group chortled as he approached the two in the alley, “Not much of a bosom, but that be a mighty fine pair a legs ya got there, girly. You wouldn’t mind havin’ some fun with me and the boys now would ya?” His lips parted into a crooked smile and she could practically feel his gaze burning into her skin as he ogled her petite frame. Kaia grimaced, her slim fingers curling into tight fists at the statement. This was exactly the world she had worked so hard to escape. Yet here it was, back again to haunt her. A previously hidden rage boiled behind her violet eyes, as she glared back at the raider with all the hatred she could muster. Ryuji then spoke with a voice Kaia had never heard before. In fact, it sounded like a different person altogether. Kaia jerked back slightly when Ryuji suddenly attacked the group with such vicious bloodthirst, killing all three within mere moments of each other. “…Ryuji…?” She spoke hesitantly, sensing the gravity of the situation. “What’s going on…?” This was certainly not the same gentle person she’d been conversing with only minutes before. Utterly random lightning arched across the sky above. At that moment, Kaia knew this was no ordinary raid. There was something much…much deeper to all the chaos.

Her timid question was left unanswered, however, as this “new” Ryuji sliced through gang members like butter. Crimson blood blanketed the stone walls of the alleyway. Whoever this was…in Ryuji’s body…it was a monster. Some part of her wanted to reach out to him, grab his shoulder, and snap him out of it. Yet, she could tell that this force was strong…and deadly. Kaia clapped her hands over mouth and stumbled backwards in fear as a massive giant seemed to appear out of nowhere. The ground shook with his every footstep and the began to fling buildings around like they weighed nothing but feathers to him.

"Oh, things get more and more interesting." He smiled as he started walking towards the giant. "Girl, I suggest you find a better hiding place, though my other side won't left me harm you deliberately, I can't help if you get in the cross-fire. You may want to hide out in the bar or something, maybe the bunker that the townsfolk were talking about while trying to escape."

With that, Kaia couldn’t take it anymore. This isn’t what she signed up for. She just happened to stumble into the group of misfits. First the zombies in the river and now this?? She never expected to be part of a battle with whatever the hell that thing was. As Ryuji confronted the giant, Kaia finally snapped. Swiftly turning on her heel, she sprinted off in the opposite direction, throwing her arms above her head to try and protect herself from the flaming debris raining down from above. Thick smoke infiltrated her lungs and stung her eyes. She yelped as a flaming wooden plank struck the ground centimeters from her feet, spraying glowing embers towards her face. Changing direction, she kept going. But no matter where she turned, she couldn’t find her way out of the small city. Where is the forest?! she practically screamed in her mind, coughing and frantically scanning her surroundings for some sign of greenery, I have to get out of here...!! But all she could see was smoke and scurrying people who continued slamming into her in their panic to escape the crumbling town.

She never should have left Ryuji. Even in his bloodthirsty state, he kept his word that his…”other half” wouldn’t harm her. Now she was utterly alone. She had no idea what direction the tavern or storm cellar he was talking about was in. As she panicked, from behind her, she only barely caught wind of a sort of whistling noise. The next thing she knew, a searing pain pierced her side and she cried out again in agony as the sharp end of a small piece of shrapnel protruded from her person. Gripping the steel, she stumbled, a small trickle of blood running down her leg and dripping to the ground. Luckily, it seemed to have missed any vital organs and the object itself was preventing her from bleeding more heavily. Falling to her knees, she gave into her terror, crying out, “Ryuji?! Sera!”. Preoccupied with the long piece of metal, she didn’t see one of the villagers, a stocky man, heading right for her. In his haste, he landed a solid kick to her face with his knee, causing himself to trip and knocking Kaia to the ground with a sickening thud. Her skull cracked against the pavement and her world went dark. Chaos continued to engulf the city. The shack next to her gave way, crumbling atop her limp form as she lay there unconscious and trapping her against the road.

Ryuji Nakamoto

As he lay there, Ryuji's mind reverted to the one place that it could run from the pain. His memories and the land of dreams. To many others, they would see a twitching body as his abnormality did everything within its power to keep him alive. The signals from his mind to his body, even the involuntary ones like his breathing and heart rate, were being tampered with.

Sitting up, Ryuji felt like his body had been shot by a cannon. "Okay, last time I'm drinking lethal limits of sake." He chuckled as he looked around to see the familiar temple. "Here again." He sighed as he forced himself to his feet. However it was a lot more difficult than he imagined it would be. "That's a new feeling."

"Well, you've never been this close to death before." Hifumi's voice chimed in. "Three times within 24 hours you've been here Ryuji. THREE TIMES!" The woman approached and smacked him across the face with all of her might. The red mark on the side of his face forming clearly and showing no signs of healing. "See why I'm worried! Your power won't even trigger! That's how bad your condition is right now! What were you thinking?! If you didn't have such a terribly cruel master, then you'd be dead to rights right now! Heck, even the Fox is trying his damndest to keep you in one piece by giving you full control of the body right now." Hifumi huffed as tears started to roll down her cheek. "You're an idiot Ryuji! The biggest idiot I've ever met!" She pounded away at his chest, though he felt nothing.

"I'm sorry Hifumi, I just couldn't-"

"Couldn't what you asshole?!"

"I couldn't let someone get hurt because of my own choices again." Ryuji looked at her with painful eyes. The light inside them barely there as he could feel his sorrow growing. "I let my choices become things that haunt me before. I couldn't do it again. I couldn't stand the idea of killing someone that I didn't want to die because of my choices. If I left her like that, I'd have been sentencing her to death." He muttered as he fell back to his knees. His body felt heavy and the guilt he had staring him in the face as he didn't want to bear the pain anymore. Slowly, he fell to the ground as if all his strength had left him. "I'm sorry Hifumi."

"Ryuji." Hifumi placed a hand gently upon his head. "You really need to let me go." She whispered as she pulled him onto her shoulders and started to drag him towards the deepest room in the temple, even beyond that which they'd gone to before.

"I'm sorry." The words barely left his mouth as his breathing continued to be ragged, his heart rate spiking and dropping in wild abnormalities as his body tried to contain the poison's effects, constantly healing the damaged nerves in his brain and spine to keep the damage from becoming permanent. "I'm sorry, Hifumi." He muttered her name as his mouth became dry and sweat poured off his body in buckets. The leather vest clinging to his body as a puddle formed around him.

Opening a door to a wide grotto, Hifumi huffed as she laid the man down into the still reflective pool of water. "Ryuji, this is your pool of memories. I want you to relive some of the moments that made me love you I want you to remember things you've forgotten since I passed. I also want you to remember everything that happened that night when we parted. Really grasp what you felt and remember who you truly are." Watching the body drift off into the pool and sinking to the bottom, Hifumi sighed as the Fox appeared beside her. "You know if he comes out of this you'll be in danger."

"I'm a murdering monster who's been taking pieces of this boy for years." The Fox's normally murderous voice was nowhere near its usual. "I will play that role until the end, even if he never truly realizes what I've been trying to do."

"You're a good friend to him. Though he may feel hate towards you and everything you've done..."

"Let him. I took that role on to be his shield. If he ever realized that....."

"I know. He'd let you be in command forever. And I don't want that."

"Neither do I."

"So we just keep playing our roles?"

"We keep playing our roles."

"You know, you're determination and dedication really is something. I'm glad that he took that from you rather than that deceptive nature."

"Are you sure? He's a playboy through and through."

"That's my influence. And I'm proud to see my pupil surpass me. Have you SEEN the harem he's building?!"

"Spoken like a true pervert."

"Sticks and stones." A crumbling sound filled the temple. "Alright, let's hope he can make it through this."

"He will. It's just a matter of whether or not he becomes stronger because of it. Ultimately its his strength of will that needs to be there to merge us back into one. If he's not strong enough to relive the pain and torture of his master. The TRUE experiences he's gone through...."

"I know. That's why you keep them locked away and fill his memories with alterations of the truth, making them happier and more lively. You became the father he never had and yet he'll always hate you."

"I'd rather know my "son" hates me than him living a life as a monster." With that, the fox turned away and went out to the main temple, determined to keep the place standing til Ryuji returned from his past. "Good luck Ryu." His whisper hung in the air while the temple shook about them.

"No, I don't drain your power. Just your energy. Think of it like recharging a battery? Or giving me food without actually feeding me." Morgan sighed and reached for the man's sleeve. "Just roll up your sleeve and you'll see."

Jackson sighed, "I can understand why you need energy, then. However, you have to promise me something, you'll let me help attack him too. If it's close quarters combat, I've been trained specifically for this" Jackson then undid his gas mask helmet exposing his face to this individual. She was one of the people helping to defend the town, so she could be trusted with how he looked under the mask. Clutching his gas mask helmet under his left arm, he put two fingers together in his right hand and pointed to his neck. "If your power works like you say then you want a place where theres an artery, touch here then." He then removed his right hand and tensed up as he had no idea what to expect.

If you're going to make a deal then....Morgan's thoughts cut off as he took off the mask. Holy shit! He's gorgeous! Her eyes locked onto his brown orbs, most of the words he was saying going in one ear and out the other as her cheeks flushed red. I can't look away. I know I joked about this with Tanya, but it really happened?! Focus Morgan, Focus! "Right. Well, it doesn't matter where I touch, it's more so how much of me touches you. The more skin contact the more energy I take. So a fingertip can drain like a barely opened faucet, but a kiss....." Why mention that? You're a guy right now! Get your head out of the princess castle and start kicking ass! "A-anyway. I'm just going to take enough that I can stay close behind you. You're my distraction and if you land a good hit in or two, that's a bonus." She smiled as she placed a hand against his cheek. It was a rush that she hardly ever felt before. The burning power of an abnorms energy heavy and rich, it was more intoxicating than any drink. A mere second felt like an hour to Morgan as she quickly removed her hand from his face. The link pulling energy from someone into her severed felt like breaking off a piece of herself. "That should be enough. Abnorm energy is a lot more potent than humans. Not sure why though." She giggled and covered her mouth. "J-ju-just act like you didn't hear that okay?" She looked to Crackerjack. "Let's go take this fucker down."

Jackson listened as she described how her power worked before she mentioned kissing causing him to give a puzzled, yet confused look. ~Why the heck is this person talking about kissing me? I just met them.~ Shaking himself out of it, he experienced a slight tug pulsating from his face. It didn't hurt, but it felt as though an air pressure tube was pressing up against one's skin and pulling it away from them. The individual then removed their hand and spoke once more as Jackson put his gas mask helmet back on. "If you really want me to attack his explosives and punch them, then you should be aware of the force it would give off. You're going to need to wait to attack him until I can land a nice clean hit that dazes him before you drain his energy or something." Jackson spoke in a hushed voice before motioning for this individual to follow them as he approached the eponymous Crackerjack. Getting within his vision, he shouted, "CRACKERJACK! This has gone on long enough!"
