The witch blinked at the sound of a familiar voice, tearing her eyes away from the door to face the newly returned marksman.

"Khiriel," she noted, somewhat surprised. "You're back." The mining town where they crafted most specialist weapons was a fair journey away. The male insisted he'd make the trek himself, despite her offer to have them delivered. Though she suspected it might be to oversee the making of the parts himself, she was silently relieved to have been freed of the burden. "I'm not entirely sure what happened myself. To the best of my knowledge we got hit with a couple of boars, but one of the new recruits led them away." The witch's expression soured as a thought struck her, then she sighed, resigning herself to it. If they hit any of the residents in our area there'll be hell to pay.

Her lip quirked up at the cheeky grin on Khiriel's face. The guy liked welcoming new members as much as the destructive waste of fur did - thankfully, with a bit more tact. "Four, since you left," she said, glancing around for the aforementioned individuals. "A kenku bard, the two who joined today, and the elven healer who..." Is currently talking to Mavndus. Oleda blinked at the sight of Vita cheerfully, even willingly, talking to the self-absorbed prince. "...Anyway. Go easy on them. I may have gotten a little testy with Cel earlier about the guild coins."

Her attention strayed briefly to the weapon at his side. Magic craft was still a burgeoning skill, involved less with enchantment and more with integrating energy into the worked materials. It made tools, rather than over-glorified power sources. Oleda herself didn't deal with weapons, due almost entirely to her lack of interest in blacksmithing, but she knew the basic functions from earlier explanations (an arcane crystal to store magic, a mana-resistant alloy to focus the release, and a grasp with some sort of trigger function), and that it was as rare as it was costly.

She glanced away, watching the guildhall slowly empty as the jovial group outside only grew. "I think most of the action is done for today though. Mavndus did manage to kill one of the boars before the elf led them away, so I imagine there will be a feast. You're welcome to join." Though the witch would likely retreat. Far too many things to do with so little time to manage.

Cel for her part, was not too old to enjoy the revelries as they unfolded. Lumbering around in her larger form, she switched between managing the boar and watching her guildmembers grow steadily rowdier. As the sun slowly fell beneath the horizon the crackling blaze filled the grounds, tankards of ale and old wines finding their way outside. It was a welcome feast for the new members, who would not yet have experienced the guild's particular brand of camaraderie. And a time for old friends to gather. As was tradition, the most recent members got first pick of the meat, though Cel refrained from encouraging the newer elf to do so. Naive beliefs, destructive though it could be, were beliefs all the same. Not something to be openly insulted.

It didn't take long for the knightly chinchilla to squeeze her way into the center of attention. The old bear snorted as the furball demanded something 'dramatic', from her companion of endless song, proceeding to detail her battle against the undead overlord of bones and flesh and dastardly intentions.

Oleda, unless tempted by the promise of sober and intelligent companions, would retreat back into her bubbling abode. Present only by the blue light flickering from within her vine-choked window.

And before they knew it, a new dawn had come.

Eirzen spent the party standing still at a wall of the guild. She knew she should have probably been conversing however she didn't understand small talk. And so she stood there, still like a statue watching over the fellow adventurers enjoying the revelry. She stood vigilant towards any danger that could find its way into this party. Some may call it foolish, the unlikelihood of such an incident, however those some were the ones who fell prey to such incidents. And she was a construct, designed to keep vigil when mortals would fail at the task from such weaknesses as sleep.

Severynd would step inside the guild hall, wearing black robes with a big smile on his face. He was awfully excited, this being his first time in the city. There was so much food, scents, sights, and people! And everyone wasn't wearing the same robes with bald heads! Severynd had even grown his hair out to a messy style, just to blend in a bit more. His eyes traveled around the guild hall as he walked deeper inside. His mind raced with the wonders that awaited him and the roles he would fill. To think this all existed while he stayed secluded in a temple with old men that told him to be calm all the time. The curious boy would even peer at guild mates awkwardly just so he could try to understand them more. His black robes didn't demand authority, but they definitely stood out. They had art of a golden dragon laying across the right sleeve, and firm wrappings beneath it to prevent any awkward gusts of wind. As Severynd looked around, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit. He had no idea what he was doing, how exciting! He loved the change in style, and wanted to join as quickly as he could, not knowing what he would do or when he would do it, but he knew he wouldn't disappoint!

(((Very sorry, went camping and it turns out there was no connection that was promised so I couldn't keep up on my writing.)))

Time: Early Morning
The guild was empty as violet shadows faded to the rising dawn. Red had just begun to touch the rim of the horizon, trees rustling in the soft light. Birds slowly awoke, beginning their twittering. And Oleda's expression was etched into a near-permanent scowl.

Within the guild, contrary to its peaceful surroundings, chaos reigned. Silent crates of waste continued to grow as Oleda made her rounds, cleaning rag in one hand. Empty bottles, food scraps, burnt strips of boar fur, broken chairs, charcoal. The usual scene after a night of celebrations. She could clean in relative peace though - at least, before the sound of the creaking guild doors caught her attention.

Both panic and frustration spiked at the noise. An early morning groggler was one thing, but if it were a kingdom guard they'd be royally screwed. Showing commoners the guild in such a state would reflect badly. And the nobility barely need an excuse to up the levies as is.

Her grip loosened at the sight of ceremonial robes. Definitely not a soldier. Dark cloth covered the young man, a mask obscuring the better half of his face as a golden dragon glared at her from the loose sleeve. Strange, yet he looked too young to be a monk.

"...Hello," Oleda said. It seemed loud against the peaceful silence. Almost a question, though it was hard to tell as the witch straightened, tossing another fragment of wood into the pile. "The guild isn't really open at the moment." If the state of it hadn't implied as much already. Still, she considered the idea as she stepped to the side, wringing out the cloth over a bucket of water. It would be greatly satisfying to douse the guildmaster awake over an urgent issue. Half of the destruction was at the old bat's approval. "Though, was there something you were after?" Dark eyes observed the stranger, not friendly, but... not hostile either.

The monk immediately picked up several pieces of wood along with some scraps, holding them in his arms as he saw that the woman was cleaning.

"J-Join, guild?"

He smiled despite the steady look of neutrality that Oleda gave him. People seemed tense around here, something he wasn't used to. He saw himself as a constant state of peace. He hoped helping her clean would relieve a bit of tension between the two. His robes swayed lightly as he set the pile of rubble he had accumulated on a table and began collecting more. This wasn't about sucking up as much as it was his beliefs. Monks from his temple tended to believe in karma, and that made pretty friendly people. His gold eyes matched the dragon on his sleeve well. Once he set a few more things on the table, he cleaned his hand on his robe and bowed lightly.

"N-Name, Severynd Whinstek. And y-you?"

It may have seemed silly, but this was simply how he was adjusted to society. He treated the guild like the temple, and everyone was to be respected within its walls. He would straighten and place his hands in their opposite sleeves. His English could use improvement, but he got his messages through to who he was talking to. His eyes blinked rarely, but never seemed dry either.

It's been at least two weeks since he last stepped inside the Guild Hall. Noir's eyes were unable to stay open after his long journey back. Leaving during the night messed with bedtime schedule and his body was exhausted; you see, the mage went on a hunting trip deep inside the woods. Noir wanted to take a brief hiatus from quests and have some alone time. With excessive hunting and magic training, Noir just wanted to hit the books, possibly a normal bed. He put aside his thoughts and focused on the guild itself. Did anything happen while he was gone? Any new recruits? Any rank promotions? He was just outside the guild doors and wondered about his reputation. Noir believed he hadn't done anything note-worthy for the guild. Maybe he was known for his tricks or intelligence?

He sighed. Noir often did things by himself, even if they were quests. Reluctance was the only thing that had him team up with other members on quests. It may seem like he wants to be a lone wolf on purpose, but that's false. In all honesty, Noir wanted some friends whom he would call family but he didn't have the outgoing personality. Shaking his thoughts off before he dwells any deeper, Noir opened the guild doors. A familiar face and a not-so-familiar face came into Noir's line of sight. The guild was a mess with trash spread throughout the floor and such. Could there have been a celebration while he was gone?

He looked at the human whom he could trust, Oleda, and the newcomer. "Good morning!..." He tiredly greeted as he yawned and stretched. "I'm back from my trip. What happened to the guild while I was gone?" The clerk seemed over worked so like the helpful chap he should be, Noir grabbed some rubbish and threw it out. In doing so, he glanced at the newcomer, his face wrapped in bandages was a unique feature. Who was the fellow? A noble or a rookie?

"Teach you?" he asked as he looked at her "I'm not sure your body is right for my combat style" he said thoughtfully as he continued to observe her "Strength isn't great enough and your defense isn't any better, you'd die if you fought like me...but...I can teach you some of the sword forms I know" he scratched his head before shaking it "But not tonight, tomorrow morning. Tonight, we enjoy our food and the stars above!" he laughed as he grabbed the finished meat from the fire.

The morning found him standing in the center of the training area, waiting for her to wake up. He had a much smaller knife as he whittled a practice sword similar to her current ones. It was more for her safety than his own. The fact that she'd been carrying around weapons without knowing how to use them was already a bothersome idea. She could easily cut herself more than her opponent.

--Chalcedony--

Chalcedony agreed with what Vas'on's words. She physically wasn't as strong as he, but she wouldn't let that get in her way. She had sworn to get stronger and she would. Even if it took her years.

The next morning she dressed in her kimono with her swords strapped to her sides. Her resolve unwavering as she made her way to the training area where Vas'on waited for her. She kept her head high as she walked, posture screaming confidence. Her gaze landed on Vas'on as he twirled a smaller knife around the air. "I'm here!" She called to him.

--Chane--

The day before Chalcedony's training, the spirit had called a few other spirits over to ask them to help in a few pranks. That next day Chane floated with the others, going over their conversation from the day before. The plan was simple, move a few objects around to confuse the living patrons. When one was alone send objects flying or skid around the room. Basically just scare them for the time being.

After the previous nights festivities in which the Kenku bard had spent his time playing various songs and enjoying the food and drink, Chimer had gotten up somewhat early with a slight headache and a goal in mind to accomplish. During the celebration he had heard stories of the places and things some of the guild members had seen and done while taking up quests and had gotten the encouragement needed to finally decide to accept a quest. Though what quests were even available? To figure that out was why Chimer had decided to get up early in the morning. If there was a new job on the quest board he had heard about then he wanted to be one of the first to know about it.

Making his way into the guild hall Chimer looked over the mess from last night's celebrations that Oleda now had the unfortunate job of cleaning up after. "Hello Oleda. Sorry about the mess, once the ale and wine came out things started to get a bit uh... I guess 'wild' would be the best word to describe it. Though it seems these two were nice enough to lend you hand" he said looking at the two individuals he didn't quite recognize. Perhaps they were new or maybe they had just returned from a lengthy quest. "Has anything new been posted to the quest board?" he asked curiously trying not to deviate too far from the reason he had gotten up early.

Eirzen sat in the training area, watching as the mage came to be trained by Vas'on. She was here for two reasons. The first was to get out of the way of those cleaning, Eirzen had tried cleaning before but that ended with her breaking a table in half. She wasn't accustomed to having light touches. The second reason was to make sure Vas'on didn't kill the poor mage. In her right hand Eirzen supported her huge halberd as she watched from the sidelines.

Oleda watched the strange boy with a raised brow, eyes flickering at the broken language. There were all kinds of individuals, she supposed, but despite his garb the male lacked the usual, unfazed demeanour that accompanied monks - like they knew their place in the world and nothing could shake it. Rather, it was there in the way he held himself. But the striking gold of his eyes spoke a different story.

"...Thank you, Severynd," she said, watching him pick up some of the nearby destruction. A strange course of action for someone so new, but she didn't complain as she returned to wiping down one of the recently righted tables. "I'm surprised you'd still want to join after seeing this, but if that's the case then alright." The cloth tossed itself back into the bucket. "I always request a small trial, but if you can complete it you're- ghck- good to go." She grunted as she hauled one the upturned chairs back into position, taking a moment to rest and glance over the work remaining.

A tired voice drew her attention, and Oleda blinked, glancing to the latest individual. "Noir." Her tone betrayed a faint surprise, mouth turning up. "You're back." It seemed his trip had been as exhausting as promised. The forest was a dangerous place to roam alone. "We had some new members, but nothing much else apart from the boars - and I'm sure you already know how that ended." The elf didn't looked fazed by the mess, idly picking up a stray piece of wood and chucking it into the established pile. Oleda would burn it later. The ash was always good in making fertiliser for certain plants.

People were starting to trickle in now, all in states of varying alertness. From the corner of her eye she spied the twin swords of the woman she now knew as Chalcedony, back straight and eyes determined. Looking for all the world like a warrior on the war path. Her attention didn't stay long though, Chimer's distinctive voice drawing her attention. She smiled at the sheepish apology, waving it off as she abandoned cleaning to approach the front counter.

"There was a rather urgent request come in recently. Normally I'd reserve it for higher ranks, considering the possibility of it being more dangerous than expected, but hopefully you'll be able to handle it." The parchment was folded beneath the desk, Oleda easily claiming it as she grasped a nearby quill. "Of course standard rules apply. You'll need one or more to form a party, and if it's looking too difficult don't push your luck." She flashed the copper emblem of her coin, hidden previously beneath the robes around her neck. "You should already be aware of guild glow. Run energy through your coin and ours will respond. We won't know the nature of the issue, but anyone from the guild should be able to track down your location to offer assistance." The words flowed easily, practiced to the point of habit as she scrawled some notes and a signature on the back of the scroll. A emblem stamp sealed the approval as she rolled up the paper, finally holding it across the counter for Chimer to take. "The details are here. If you choose not to accept then pin it to the quest board for someone else."

Please help. Dawnsong doesn't have a above ground river to supply water. We need to use a well to access the stream below.

Recently there have been strange noises coming up though, and the buckets have all been destroyed. There's an access to the source from a nearby cave, but no one who's entered thus far has returned. Please, please send someone who can resolve this issue. The crops might survive off the rain, but we cannot.

Grabbing the paper Chimer began to carefully read over the listed details. "So something is causing trouble with their water supply and everyone that has investigated it thus far hasn't returned..." he said somewhat to himself as he thought over his decision. Whatever it was sure didn't want to share the water or was just extremely territorial and something as simple as a bucket entering its domain was enough to set it off. "I think I can see why you may usually reserve something like this for the higher ranks, I mean who knows what may be down in that cave? ...But, I think with the right team I can get this done" he said before hesitation could kick in, the Kenku bard was determined to start fulfilling the reason he joined the guild. "So, do I just leave this scroll with you for now? Or should I hold onto it?" he asked not certain what he should do with the parchment while he asked those he had in mind if they wanted to form a party and go on the quest together.

Noir grew drowsy by the minute even if he didn’t want to sleep. He sat on the nearest chair and quietly meditated. While he succeeded in doing so, his ears took notice of a new quest happening. A quest... already?! He thought, squinting his closed eyes in annoyance. Noir was irritated with himself as if he should partake in the quest at the cost of his sleep. He sighed. He slowly got up and stretched his body again. Oleda seemed to be talking to a new rookie with her tutorial advice and going over the quest. From what Noir heard, the quest was supposedly challenging; just how he liked it. The rookie, surprisingly a bird person, read the details of the quest on a paper and thought out loud about it. Noir believed he was determined to do the quest despite his looks of hesitation.

He walked over towards the front counter to get some info from the quest. "Ah... A quest." Noir yawned once again, he leaned on the counter and kindly spoke again. "I suppose you need assistance on this quest, rookie. It'll be smart if you brought someone experienced with you. Would you mind if I assist him and Mr. Bandages on this quest, Miss Oleda?" Noir kindly, yet tiredly, smiled. Noir felt like he would have great connections with the bird-man and the golden-eyed boy. He hoped he didn't seem like an arrogant person with the way he spoke or acted. Noir did want to change his lone wolf actions and at least try to team up with others.

"If you have any doubts... Uh" Noir brought out his iron guild coin in his belt pocket. "I believe this'll be of proof of experience." He anticipated any sort of doubts from anyone, so he prepared himself for anything. Noir signaled the man with bandages on his face to kindly come over. He ended things off by offering a handshake to the bird person, having a kind expression and faint blush on his face.

Severynd wouldn't lose his confident smile as he nodded to Oleda.

"I-I am ready for this t-trial when you are, m-miss."

He wasn't sure why the lady didn't give her name, but immediately concluded that she was too busy talking to three people at once while cleaning. He would continue to help as he awaited her to be available for his trial. Severynd would watch as she spoke to the others, cleaning swiftly and silently. He would look to the bird and stare, not meaning to be impolite. He just had never seen an anthropomorphic animal before. He had a feeling he'd be seeing more as well. He listened to him as he spoke about the quest and chuckled. A first quest for the bird! How inspiring. He seemed to have a strong mind between his ears that didn't let him back down from a fight, which was admirable. He then looked to the tired mage meditating in... a chair surrounded by clutter. It's not that it was foolish or anything, just... not what Severynd would meditate in. Severynd would slowly lift a table with a single arm when Noir approached the three of them, raising a brow as he was called Mr. Bandages.

"I-I'm afraid you are mistaken, f-friend. I-I am not even a guild member y-yet! As f-for the quest, I'd love to j-join, but I will leave that d-decision to the holder after my t-trial."

He didn't exactly dislike Noir, but thought it was rather rude to assume people were already going on a quest together, then proceed to nestle his way in. Not to add the nickname. But maybe that's just how things were outside the temple! He would have to get used to it, he supposed. He turned back to Oleda and awaited his turn for her trial. What it was he wasn't sure, but he would perform to the best of his ability. He had cleaned up all the mess he could see as well, but if she requested he do more, then that would be acceptable as well. In the temple, they used to clean for hours.

Mavndrus had spent the night before browsing the guild members for potential additions to there newly formed team. His main focus was getting someone hot headed, bulky, someone who could take a lot of hits and liked to be in front. Eirzen was a top prospect mainly for her reputation, she tended not to listen to any team she was on and ran ahead trying to do everything on her own, and that was perfect in Mavndrus eyes. She would draw all the attention to herself and Mavndrus would be able to keep his distance and deal some damage. On the plus side she was Gold rank. Mavndrus had barely made an exception for the copper elven healer, having someone like Eirzen on his team would defineltey give them the upper hand

Walking into the guild the next day he scoffed carefully stepping over trash and using his staff to push things out of his paths. "Barbarians... It amazes me how you can be so destructive and messy in your own place of business." He hadn't stayed long for the feast, being apart of such trivial festivities alongside commoners wasn't something Mavndrus was interested in.

Mavndrus drifted over to the board seeing there had been a few additions to it, he read deciding if any of them were worth his time, "Picking flowers, ridiculous... Stupid boar hunt, not going to waste my time....." nothing peaked his interested, He stepped away, he noticed a few people slowly dripped back into the Guild hall one of them being Eirzen who made her way to the training area, "Perfect timing." he said making his way towards her direction.

He approached the girl pushing his hair behind his ears and tilting his head up. Mavndrus extended his hand in the air as if he was going to give a great announcement. "I Prince Mavndrus Favehari invite you to join me, to be apart of my prestigious team, I have deemed you worthy to work by my side," Mavndrus waited for her response smiling.

"Take it with you," she said. "It'll show the villagers it's been guild approved - though in any case I suspect they'd accept help from anyone." Chimer seemed to have a good grasp of the request, her opinion of him rising yet again.

Her eyes slid to Noir at the elf's next words, faintly surprised he'd offered. Apart from just having returned, he had somewhat of a reputation for... well, he'd paired up before, but Oleda was usually the one throwing him members so he met the requirements. Perhaps the two weeks of solitude knocked something loose.

"It's up to Chimer, but you going would be of great relief, Noir." Experience was often the vice between success and another life lost. "Only..." The witch blinked, glancing over his bedraggled appearance. The light-coloured hair was a mess of knots and twigs, and the garbs had fared no better over two weeks of sleeping in the open. She smothered the grin that threatened to surface. "Nevermind." Her eyes strayed to the side. It was nothing water and a change of clothes wouldn't fix.

Severynd was the most unsure of them all, the nervous stuttering doing nothing for her confidence. Normally, if Cel didn't swear them in on sight, she had him collect materials. It would be more extreme to give him the quest - by the Adventurer's standards anyway - but with an iron to accompany them it seemed a worthy risk. "Severynd," she said, watching the boy turn to her. His calm movements betrayed by the catch in his tone, and she was stuck between deciding if it was a speaking tick or nerves. "You're welcome to join them. In most cases I'd have you collecting herbs for your trial, but this suits better." Noir, I'm entrusting his safety to you.

"Oh okay" he said nodding his head as he held onto the scroll. Now turning around to face the clearly tired elven man who had started talking to him and Oleda, Chimer was quite surprised that the exhausted iron rank would offer his assistance given that he should have probably been more preoccupied with getting some sleep. Initially Chimer didn't really know which of the higher ranked members he would ask for help as many seemed to have a preferred partner or just seemed hard to work with, so having one that seemed like a good guy offer their expertise was definitely welcomed.

"Well I'll definitely take you up on your offer. It would be nice having someone with experience on the team" he said accepting the handshake. "Though shouldnt you get some sleep first? You look really tired" he said in a concerned tone of voice as he watched the man wave the other individual he had seen help clean over to the counter.

The second individual appeared to have bandages around their mouth which Chimer guessed were there to cover something unsightly rather than for a wound as the bandages didn't appear to be covered in blood. The man with the bandages was also interestingly enough someone interested in joining the guild and it seemed that Oleda was giving him permission to tag along if Chimer offered.

"Well if your still interested in joining, I'd be fine with having you on the team" he said to Severynd as he began to think if a party of three would be a good enough size for the quest or if he should consider looking for an additional member.

Severynd's excitement grew as he heard that a mere trial of collecting herbs was replaced with his first quest already! He kept the fidgety excitement on the inside though, simply smiling wide against the bandages.

"W-Won't let down!"

He would then turn to Chimer, who he already had a liking for, seeing as though he accepted the new guild mates help. He settled a calm, happy expression on his face as he looked at him with gold eyes. He looked to Noir, and after he got a better look at him, realized how exhausted he must feel! Severynd immediately excused any negative thoughts he had on the mage. He knows he isn't perfect when he's tired. Plus, he hadn't understood the rankings of the guild, and was happy to have a sort of supervisor just in case things went south. Severynd would put a hand against his chest as he looked at Chimer.

"S-Severynd... you?"

He did the same gesture to Noir, wanting to know his first quest mates names. He was sure to remember them.

Noir found the bandaged man's nervous voice rather odd. How nervous was he? Was it some form of a speech impediment? Nevertheless, it would be rude if he suddenly asked about how he spoke. Listening to his words, Noir found him to by-the-books and formal type of person. Certainly, he was quite unique. Other than that, Noir's blood flowed through his face, making him show a hard blush.

"Ah, I'm sorry!" Noir quickly apologized, standing up properly. He turned to guild clerk who responding to his question. He appreciated being recognized as a person to be relied on. However, her glance made Noir realize how much of a tired mess he is. His hair messed up and clothes dirty with a faint smell, surely a sight of an unprofessional person. Noir at least took an attempt to fix his hair.

The bird, Chimer, took his offer and raised concern to the elf’s condition. “W-well, I’m very much fine-“ Noir started to yawn. “Besides, it should be fine to do my first quest back... awh...” He yawned once again. Indeed, the mage was exhausted, but he felt some adrenaline going through him to do this quest. Chimer invited the bandage man on the quest, agreeing with his choice.

Noir felt the man’s confidence and excitement from his word. Well, I hope these guys are capable of standing on their own ground. Noir decided to introduce himself after Severynd. “I’m Noir Reignheart, nice to meet you!” He confidently smiled at his two teammates, something he hasn’t done in forever.

“In case guildmaster Cel gets mad, we’ll collect some random herbs as part of the trial, Severynd. Oleda, I-“ He yawned another time. “I’ll be sure to look these potential platinum ranked members... So, where is the quest located, Chimer?”

Listening to Severynd introduce himself Chimer began to realize that the bandaged man had a strange way of talking. It was almost like he was nervous, but his excitement to join along made that seem unlikely. Maybe he was just more familiar with another language and struggled with this one? That seemed more probable. “And my name is Chimer Steelfeather” he said after Noir introduced himself.

"The scroll said that help was needed in Dawnsong Village" he answered looking over the piece of parchment to make sure he said the correct location. "Though are you sure you don't want to to rest first? There's not a lot of information on what we may have to face and I'm not sure going in tired is a good idea" he asked trying to make sure Noir was certain with his decision. While it was likely the elven man could rest if they needed to travel by cart Chimer still wanted to make sure Noir wasn't pushing himself past his limits needlessly.

Severynd focused a bit to pronounce the names.

"Ch-Chimer... Noir... Got it!"

Severynd looked to the clearly exhausted mage. No doubt in his mind told him that he wouldn't pass out as soon as he sat down. He wasn't even comfortable with bringing something like that into battle, despite the experience.

"N-Noir should rest, Noir sleeps, then quest c-commences!"

Severynd meant to sound anything but commanding, and that would be obvious by his cheery tone. He would then turn to the bird and blink with his golden stare.

"Ch-Chimer will show S-Severynd town?"

He had seen a good bit of it on the way to the guild, but thought he'd learn a lot more with a guide rather wandering aimlessly and getting into trouble. He only had enough coin for a room and food, so perhaps he would have one of those meals before the quest. He would more than double his coin after the quest anyway, assuming they split the reward between the three evenly.

The two rookies were concerned about Noir's sleepless condition, which they had the right to be and couldn't blame them. Sure, he looked tardy and thirst for sleep but something inside him wanted to do this. "You don't have to worry about me. I'm fine, I could just meditate when needed to." He confidently addressed followed up with a long yawn. He gave them a thumbs accompanied with an exhausted grin. Hopefully they'll understand that I'm fine.

He walked down to the guild doors and signal both Chimer and Severynd to come outside. "We should be back by a day or so!" He hollered and waved goodbye to Oleda and the guild. "Let's head out and solve the problem, guys."

Severynd puffed a cheek in protest, but sighed in acceptance. He shouldn't judge someone who is more experienced than himself! Besides, Severynd trusted his ability quite a bit to take care of beasts. It wouldn't have been the first time. He nodded to Chimer and Noir, following him to the door. If it need be, Severynd could get them out of a sticky situation.

"I-I would persist, but trust N-Noir."

Severynd looked to him with gold eyes, one last look of the tired mage before nodding in approval. Yes, this would be okay. No need to worry at all.

"Alright, that sounds fair" he responded upon hearing Noir confidently explain that he would be fine and that he could just meditate if need be. It seemed that no amount of persuasion from the two copper ranks would get the elven man to change his mind but something about the smile and thumbs up he gave told Chimer that Noir was happy to be doing this even if the periodic yawns indicated that he was tired.

"Looks like we will have to show you around the kingdom when we return then" he said to Severynd as he followed Noir out the front doors of the guild hall with scroll in hand and banjo strapped to his back.

Eirzen was interrupted of her watch. The prince came to scout her for a position in his party. It was an intriguing offer with hidden intentions. The prince liked to think he was far above everyone, a stance that to Eirzen only belonged to her creator. She was willing to assist these lower rank adventurers however.

"I am willing to to work with you, however do understand that we will be of equal positions, as is custom in adventurer teams."

It was an odd thing to point out for anyone who didn't pay attention to what the prince had been saying. Eirzen kept a careful watch through the whole time the prince was talking to the healer.
