Its designed to be short, catchy with a touch of jazzy punch but eh fuck it your new to the city right? Chalk it up to lucky ignorance...
The Fixers are a bunch of paranormal specialists trained specifically to deal with demons and the accursed they create.
A accursed is anything created by a demons curse, you've probably seen something similar in fiction and scary stories.
Ghosts, Vampires, werewolves, just cursed humans. Curses range from mildly annoying to downright terrifying.
Ever step in poo and kick your toes accidentally but like for the entire day? Might be unlucky, could be a curse.
Call a fixer.
See shit that no one else does or have the ever present sensation of being watched? Might be paranoid, probably a curse.
Call a fixer.
Ever have a entire street of people, man women and children fight ferociously to the death for your affection?
Might be your stunning and beautiful to the point you bewitch people but get over yourself cause its more likely you've been cursed.
Call a damn fixer!
A fixer is a person who has learned to use their a curse for the greater good of society, either born accursed or becoming one later in life. Mind you a fixer is someone who helps accursed by any means necessary, with technology or with other talents it doesn't matter. For employees at Starlight Fixers an Co two years of mandatory training must be completed before they are allowed to perform even a simple fix in public.
If you want to play you would be a new recruit/rookie to the Starlight fixers, having completed your training and deemed competent in use of your ability or the technology required to combat/remedy a paranormal situation.
Characters can be cursed by a demon or a spirit to have a unique power/traits for example...
a vampire is able to transform into a bat aswell as being faster and stronger then a human, but they are in no way invincible. Hurt by fire and killed by sunlight, a thirst for blood that makes them frail and they are surprisingly weak to sharp wooden weapons.
A werewolf is similar in the sense they can transform into a beast and have enhanced physical condition, strength, senses etc etc. On the night of a full moon they lose all sense of reason and become a true beast.
You could be "cursed" by a spirit, giving you a magic power in return for your energy, emotions, your very life even.
A spirits curse is more of a discussed deal while a demons curse is generally to cause a mortal life shit for a giggle.
