Fantasy The Academy (accepting)

There's an Academy just west of the Rocky Mountains for all supernatural beings. Merfolk, Faeries, Elves, Vampires, and Werewolves. Of course, there are problems. Such things happen when you lock a mix of teenage sups in a 400 year old boarding school.


Vampires.


Vamps have thin, retractable, needlesharp fangs. After a taste of Merfolk blood, nothing else will ever satisfy them. Males can reproduce with living sups (humans too, but who are we kidding. No one has relations with their food). When a human gets changed, a vampire must bite them but not ingest their blood. A council called The Elders runs the species.


Merfolk.


Merfolk have gills on their neck. When they dry off, they gain legs. A single drop of water causes the change, however. The mer are shy, but mischevious. The Royal family rules the species.


Faeries.


Faeries range in looks and sizes. Some liok like flowers, some butterflys. Some are mere inches tall, and some are human sized. A royal family rules the species.


Elves.


Elves' each have an element of nature that they are modeled after. (Night, trees, fire, air, day, water, earth, etc.) A queen rules elves. When her rule is over, she chooses another from the common people.


Werewolves.


Weres are full wolves when they change completely, but they can partially turn (ex. Teeth, ears, claws) with practice. There is no overall species ruler. Eaxh pack has their own rules, determined by the Alpha.

History: Luma is the daughter of a Ambassador from the Depths, but her real mother died when she was 3. Since the Queen couldn't have her own fingerling, she took Luma in. As she would have with her own children, had she had any, she sent Luma to the Academy when she was 12.

Once it was finished and Mem lay on the floor, too exhausted to move, his father ran to the garage, fearing that once his child regained their energy they would go on a murderous rampage like they do in the movies. He chained his eldest child to the radiator and locked the door until morning. When they returned they found Mem gone, fearing the worst they called animal control, thinking that would help. They were ignorant, and ignorance breeds fear, and the fear Mem felt rivaled everything their human instincts screamed with the predator nearby. Mem was heartbroken that his parents could be so cold in their fear so he'd wriggled his way out of the chain hold and escaped out the window sometime during the night but stuck around under the back porch until shifting back. Though upon hearing animal control fear took hold and he snuck back upstairs, packed a bag of favorite clothes, a few toys, and what money he'd accumulated in their piggy bank, knowing that his parents would only see him as a monster when he wasn't.

History: Cas used to purposely get tangled in nets and drag the fishermen overboard. It was one of his favorite pastimes, aside from seducing young ladies of all species. Trouble is kinda his thing. When his parents had another fingerling, they sent Cas to the Academy. Hes not drowning fishermen anymore, but he definately gets into plenty of trouble, romantic and otherwise.

History: sora loved the water but when he turned 12 it all changed. He went to school and in pe it was swimming day. That's when it happened. He changed into his trunks then dove into the pool. He just turned 12 yesterday. He didn't understand what was going on he could suddenly breath under water and had gills and a tail. He thought it was a dream. The kids saw him change and were afraid. The teachers soon called the cops then his parents. Hi mom was whispering to his dad in the corner behind the police. She said "I knew he would be different but not like this". They soon left. The cops were talking to the kids asking what sora looked like because he'd got away because there was a pipe, kid sized in the bottom and he'd swam through it to freedom. He went home grabbed a psp, clothes and a rugged book bag and ran away to the academy.
