Welcome to Briarwood, a small town up in Vermont where the summers are short and snow always comes early. It's a relatively small to medium sized town, thirty minutes or so away from the bigger cities surrounding it. The town has its charming places: ponds and lakes, parks, quaint little shopping areas and such, and more. It's the type of town people drive through and admire from within their cars, but rarely stop in. Most of the people who have been in Briarwood have been there their whole lives. Some teens dream of leaving, some dream of finding someone to marry and staying there forever. The crime rate is fairly low, and people smile and wave to you as you pass by.
Our story centers around eight teens navigating their junior/senior years of high school. What are your characters hopes and dreams? What do they want out of life? To stay in Briarwood, or move to somewhere where the sun shines all year round? There will be drama, there will be fights, there will be crushes and betrayal. How will they handle it?

Yup, it's me, back at it again. Will I ever stop? Yeah, probably not.
Anyway! This is loosely based off of a movie my bestie told me about, and it's basically just a teen drama-y type thing. I'm hoping to find some long term people who are interested in joining me on this adventure! There are roles, which you'll find on the next page, and there are set end games here but I'm looking for people who can bring twists and turns into this. Bring me the drama, the angst, the friendships and laughter and all that good shit. Doubling isn't required, though if there are open roles, I know I'll probably double and if you're willing to do the same, then awesome. If not, no big deal!
I stated this in the rules, but romance and darker themes are heavily encouraged for this rp. So if that's not your thing, please don't ask to join or send me a writing sample. No drama out of character, you know, all the usual stuff. That's all I can think of that I need to say! Hope you're interested!

She's the queen of the school and gets everything she wants. She's currently dating the King Bee, but they are constantly on again/off again. The Nerd is always there to help pick up the pieces, though, if she'd only let him in.
King Bee.

Coming from old money, the King Bee (similar to his on again, off again girlfriend) gets everything he wants. The New Girl has caught his eye, but how can he get her if he's supposed to be dating the Queen Bee?
Princess.

Also known as the Queen Bee's second in command, the princess is usually known for her sweet demeanor. That's why she's got to keep it a secret that she's intriuged by the Bad Boy.
Nerd.

The Nerd can ace any test given to him, and is constantly top of his class. But the one test he can't pass? Telling the Queen Bee how he feels about her.
New Girl.

She's new in town, freshly moved in and mostly keeps to herself. Nobody knows her story. Is that why the King Bee can't leave her alone?
Bad Boy.

Coming from a rough home life, the Bad Boy is used to not getting things his way. He's used to life shitting on him. Maybe that's why the Princess' sweet nature has caught his eye.
Sportsy/Artsy.

This girl has always marched to the beat of her own drum. Loves sports and/or the arts, never too concerned with material things. Loves laughing it up with the Class Clown.
Class Clown.

The Class Clown loves to make others laugh, though some speculate that's because he's not got it the greatest at home. Besties with the Sportsy/Artsy girl, but he wants it to be more.

one.Keep all drama in character. OOC drama won't be tolerated, and if you can't remember this, you'll be kicked. I'm looking for active people, but I'm also okay with slower paced roleplays, as long as I know people are still interested. Don't be a dick.
two.Discord is mandatory for ooc for this roleplay. Sorry if that's not your jam, but I personally love using it to connect with my fellow rpers, and I feel it helps with ooc for that.
three.Romance is heavily encouraged for this plot, if you couldn't tell. The end game pairings are already made, but that doesn't mean things have to work in a straight line to get there. We love wrong turns and speedbumps! Dark themes are also acceptable (and encouraged by me) for this roleplay, so again, if romance and dark themes aren't your thing, this probably isn't the rp for you.
four.Communicate with me and your fellow rpers. If you've lost interest, won't be able to post for a while, etc. Please let us know! Be able to give us something in your responses, usually a couple paragraphs is what I ask for.
