Ken Maeda
Place: The football club - the pitch
Time: Morning

As the old coach was working with his players, he noticed the sight of Rina, the club new assistant. He didn't care much about her knowledge of the sport as he was in need of somebody that would help out in other off-pitch duties. Most of his last helpers were last year students who left the club to focus on studying.

"- Oh don't worry, I usually require your assistance more in after school activities more. For now, you could get to know everyone, remember a few important faces. Over is our captain, Ryuuji Yanagi, you met him the other day. Next to him is Hinamaru Okaasano, tall guy with blue hair, our vice-captain. And Jun Yamaguchi, brown hair with the headband is the second vice-captain. Other than that are the Sato brothers who are also long standing members of the team. Over there are Kako Kenshin and Inoue, they have only been here for a few months. The rest, I will give you the member list after school."

After a long introduction of the team, coach Maeda turned back to Rina

"- To be honest, it's a great new for me and Ryuu that you decided to join us. That kid has been handling a lots of thing by himself lately. There were others assistant before but they left to focus on studying for their final year. And don't worry, you won't be doing much today beside trying to remember everyone."

The coach suddenly remembered something important as he continued.

"- Oh, there is a friendly game this afternoon again another high school. Can you stay and watch after school ? It should be a great way for you to learn about the sport."

Jason Riviera
Club Pitch

Mentioned: AyeXian AyeXian
Jason was caught off guard by the sloppy pass and couldn't reach his foot out in time. He turned around and went to follow the ball. His walk back was interesting, as Jason had developed a unique style of dribbling. He would chip up the ball and keep touching it up with one foot while orbiting the other around the ball. This style helped pull off volleys and crosses and kept the ball well protected. "It's fine, everyone gets distracted." He had noticed Rina and her lack of a kit, indicating that she isn't a player. "Do any of you speak English? You guys have heard my Japanese and it'd be good to know everyone's language boundaries."

The man had the same old expression on his face which was a little amusing. It looked like he was angry all the time yet that wasn’t the case… probably. When he said that he didn’t need her that much when it came to the actual game for now was a bit of a relief. She could get used to it over time. If she had to learn the whole book in just one day she would have dropped out already as it was practically impossible for her to do so. She didn’t mind remembering stuff but a whole book with all styles was a little over the top. Nodding as she was more required for the after school activities, whatever that meant. She hadn’t been on a soccer team before so she would need to find out later like usual.

When the man started talking about the captain that he had to do all the work by himself, she felt a little bad for him. It was nice to know that the guy was a hard working student but still, everybody needed some time for themselves no matter what. Rina learned that the hard way as she used to overexert herself regularly to the point of making her team members worry about her which she didn’t like. She didn’t like to make anyone worried in the first place yet she couldn’t calm down until the accident hence why she decided to become an assistant instead. This way she could let her arm rest and not ruin it even more than it already was. Perhaps she could help out the team from the side-lines instead? It was worth a shot and with that she could still be in a club.

When the coach started to tell the names with its description of that individual, she started scribbling everything down in little points so she wouldn’t need to read a whole block of text which could get annoying fast. Nodding at what the old man was saying until he was finished. The mentioning of there being a game today in the afternoon peaked her interest as she hadn’t been on an actual game yet. Only having seen it on the television since she had games on the same time as them. Yet her facial expressions didn’t change much over the course as she had been taught from a young age that she shouldn’t show her emotions so easily. A woman like her should be strong and fierce. That was what her dad always said. However with him she couldn’t control them at all as she loved him the most out of her entire family. Of course some of the yakuza members she got along with too and missed them while she was here, but she refused to come back home without a good reason.

”Sounds good to me.” She responded, her eyes glistening just a little as she started to feel a little excited about it. The only times that she played soccer was at PE or at a local hangout, nothing too serious. She had one nasty kick though which could send the ball flying from one end to another at a dangerous speed. Though it didn’t always work as she had to focus greatly on how she moved and where she wanted to move the ball towards. One time it landed on someone’s head.

Maru listened to the coach's instructions it seemed the old man knew what he was talking about. Picking up on passing pretty fast it was fairly simple course in a real game Maru would have to worry about people trying to get in the way of his pass. Next was learning how to kick the ball as Maru listened this sounded way easier to do for Maru. Kicking now kicking he could definitely do that after all kicking was in Maru's blood. He watched the technique one is supposed to use to kick the ball and recognized it immediately. "Oh that's it?" Maru took two steps towards the ball and kicked the motion so familiar to him as the ball met his foot there was a loud smack as it rocketed towards the goal. Slamming into the net spinning slightly as it rolled towards the ground he turned to look at the coach. "So how was that?'

Kako

A tutor?

Kako was a bit surprised but it made sense. After all, he's learned a lot from watching the other players anyway, so it didn't change too much for him. Kako stood quietly as he listened to Coach Maeda talk to Jun. Once the coach turned to him, Kako continued to listen, though now that the coach was looking at him, he could probably see the emotions swirling behind Kako's apathetic expression, within the eyes.

Honestly, the idea did intrigue him a bit. It seemed like a good way to improve and Kako was always up for improving. Plus, Kako did look up to Jun a bit, considering he was not only a third year, but his senior in pretty much every aspect when it came to soccer. Kako let a grin slip for a few seconds before his face went back to normal, "Yes, Coach."

Turning to Jun, Kako bowed a little before stating, "I look forward to learning from you, Yamaguchi-san."

As he waited for Jun's response, Kako's mind began to race as a theory popped into his head, If coach wants me to learn from him, does that mean he's made a decision?

Kako glanced at coach. Honestly, he never could guess what went through his head, but it always interested him. After all, over the past few months, Kako was literally all over the place, learning different skills for different positions, and it was a bit confusing, to say the least. Nevertheless, it's not like it's a bad thing to learn various skills you may or may not need.

Jun turned to look at the coach with a serious expression on his face. Honestly he wasnt sure if he was cut out to start tutoring someone that only knew the minimum about the sport. Heck he had been training since he was little and now being told to tutor someone, he wasnt sure how told feel about that. Turning to look at Kako, he gave him a once over before turning to look back. "First thing first, if you want a chance for me to take the tutoring seriously, learn how to dribble around the field without stopping until your tired out, heck even ask defense to stay by your side, even use the cones to show your skills, any misstep and start over." Any fast winger that knew how to dribble was a deadly combination, which was why it was important to learn how to dribble without problem, especially if you were gonna play on a game.
