The small girl watched in surprise with her eyes widened slightly as Jinwoo got up and ran to the stranger, yelling a name, and hugged him. And what also surprised her was the almost automatic change in the newcomer's look and tone. Before he seemed bored and serious and now he was happy and soft as he embraced Jinwoo and messed with him. She listened to her conversation, only since she was standing near and waiting to know where she would be living. But her brows raised as they suddenly began speaking in another language. From what she knew or had heard before, it sounded like Japanese, though she wasn't sure since she only knew Korean and the basics of English. Then Jinwoo spoke to the other members, including her, and introduced the male, who was even taller than Jinwoo himself. She nodded briefly, before realizing she should probably introduce herself, since he hadn't been there before.

Kyung-rae's lips turned up in a friendly, yet shy, smile as she dipped her head to the new male, who Jinwoo had introduced as Daiki. She was glad to have another rapper in the band. "Hello~" she began respectfully with a polite bow. "My name is Chae Kyung-rae. Nice to meet you." she introduced sweetly and shyly, for what seemed like the millionth time today, though of course she didn't mind whatsoever. That was what someone should expect when debuting, it was completely normal. And, even if she did mind, she would want Daiki to know who she was, since he was also in the group.

He kept his friend in a headlock as he tried to stop Daiki from further messing up his hair. It was just too fun to mess with Jinwoo he couldn't help himself, even if it was in front of perfect strangers. However when his friend straightened up and made the comment about "schoolgirls", Daiki just laughed and pinched him, "You maybe." He then faced the group as he was introduced, every trace of a smile vanishing. He would be seen as the boss, that was for sure. At least at first.

His eyes fell upon a small girl as she dipped her head to him and smiled. She seemed a bit bashful as she introduced herself as Chae Kyung-rae. His eyes were pretty much emotionless as he looked down at her, and said curtly, "Okay." He then turned his attention right back to his friend, smiling again. "So where's your room? We all need to be getting ready."

There was something about Daiki and Jinwoo that made sense and another that blew people away. They were both half Japanese and the same age and after Daiki had got himself used to Jinwoo, they became close as could be. But, at a first meeting, Jinwoo looked tough and was soft whereas Daiki looked soft but was essentially a concrete wall. At Daiki's response to Kyung-rae's polite introduction, Jinwoo poked the taller male. "Be nice." He whispered pointedly, "She's nervous enough without having your grumpy face looking down on her." Jinwoo found himself scolding Daiki in a similar manner whenever there were new faces but all the same, when the taller smiled at him, he grinned back. "This one I guess?" Jinwoo said, opening an unopened door.

"I am being nice!" The taller male practically whined, and playfully slapped Jinwoo's shoulder. Indeed they were an odd pair, but close all the same. He was always protective of his friends, but not necessarily soft like he was with this male. Daiki might show more patience, but rarely open love like this. Jinwoo just had a very loveable personality that Dai adored.

He did want to try to get along with the others, just right now he needed to focus on perfecting them. Friendship could wait. So he pulled his old friend into the bedroom with him after it was pointed out, already digging through his suitcase. "Make sure to seriously look your best. Manager Haneul is taking this group very seriously." He warned queitly, trying to pick a shirt. He would unpack once they were back.

In the flurry of activity from the straw picking to the announcement of roommates to the arrival of this new member, Sanghwa tried to keep up with what was happening. With each announcement of a straw size and exclamation of roommate assignment, it was easy to deduce that oh, right. Her roommate was Jinwoo. There wasn't much time to think about this, however, as the door opened and a completely new person entered. It seemed that Daiki and Jinwoo were quite close, given the ecstatic greetings that were yelled once they saw each other. She was taken aback by Daiki's cold attitude toward Kyung-rae who had only introduced herself and she looked around the circle to see any other impressions on what had just happened. Once Daiki and Jinwoo had disappeared, Sanghwa let out a heavy exhale, running her hand through her mess of a ponytail.

"Well uh," she said as she clasped her hands in front of her. "Cool. It's great to meet all of you. Can't wait for some great times with everyone." The words came out awkward in her attempt to find something to say. She looked down, scrunching her nose with an annoyed thought to herself of way to play it cool Sanghwa, before realizing that she was still wearing her sweats from that morning when she had been packing. Well, damn. She should probably change out of those and into something nicer, now that she was thinking about it.

As Daiki responded, she was taken aback and frowned slightly, looking down, feeling even smaller to the tall male than she had before. Not only had his smiling expression turned emotionless immediately as she had spoken, but his words were also rather cold, though a smile appeared on his face immediately once he turned back to Jinwoo. Well, she hoped she and he didn't get roomed together, because now she was scared that, if they did, she would have to worry about interacting with him, and having bad interactions. Without looking back up, or making eye contact, she bowed goodbye, being polite since they were older, before turning and grabbing her bag. She smiled softly to Sanghwa, in reply to her words, before making her way to the room where Namil and Minjun had entered, since she had drawn a shorter straw as well.

Entering the room, she flashed the two a sweet smile. "Hey, guys." she said, making sure to bow to Minjun. She was always so determined to be respectful at all times to her elders. "I got a short straw so yeah." she said, happy that she would be rooming with the other maknae and Minjun, at least for now depending on what they decided about Daiki.

Namil
He smiled when Kyung-Rae entered, facing her and beaming happily. "Awesome! But isn't there a new guy?" He peeked out at the tall stranger curiously, "Will one of us be rooming with him?" He hoped not, since he would really love to share a room with Rain! He turned back to her and shut and locked the door, then opened his duffel bag and started routing around for nice clothes. He got out tight black jeans and a black button up shirt. He was never one to wear extremely colorful clothes, just because he loved how he looked in black. It stood out nicely with white hair. He then got out black converse and socks. He walked past Rain and his Hyung, "I'm gonna go change I'll be right back!"

Rhydian felt like he had to stop his brain from sloshing around inside his head from looking at so many different directions in such a short period of time. First everyone found out who their roommates were, and he couldn't help but feel like going up to the maknaes and squishing their cheeks for being so cute, and then all of a suden they were having a new member. How was a person supposed to deal with this? Being a Gemini was already terrible as it was, no need to add so much information at once. Daiki seemed pretty cool until he answered Kyungrae with a single word after she tried to be nice and friendly, and that kind of rubbed him the wrong way? He didn't want to be judging people right at the second he met them, but it would be hard getting used to someone who treated people like that. Poor Rae had been so nervous, too, aish.

And they would be meeting up with a manager to discuss concepts and other things, but the only thing he could do when Daiki mentioned "looking their best" was cover his mouth with a hand so that no one would see his smile. Oh honey, no one was prepared for that yet, he thought, but kept everything to himself. "Welp, I'm gonna go put my stuff in the right room but I'll be right back as well", Rhydian said after Namil was gone. He was done pretty quickly so he probably didn't miss much, and his all-black outfit consisted of a nice button down, his fancy ripped skinny jeans and his boots with the comfortable heels so he was good to go.

Kyung-rae nodded at his words, "Yeah, his name is Daiki." she said softly and nodded to his second question. "I think so." she said, feeling a small nervous feeling in her chest. If she was being completely honest, Daiki kind of scared her, with his seriousness, and because of the way he responded to her. But she wouldn't give up on it. If there was one thing she liked to stick to, it was not assuming someone was bad. And, seeing how he acted with Jinwoo, and acknowledging the fact that she didn't know Daiki that well, she knew he was a good person, even if he hadn't shown it all too much to her.

"Wait!" she said to Nana before looking down at her outfit. She was still wearing the outfit she had arrived in, which was a rather cute overall-type dress with a black and white striped shirt under. "This is okay, right?" she asked Namil and Minjun, wanting their approval. Or else she would change. She figured that her outfit was cute and nice enough to see their manager. Plus, she didn't know what else she would wear.

Kate was at a loss for words, everyone was going one way or the other, but all she heard was 'get ready' and so she did, towing her backpack and suitcase with her as she went to the room she would be staying in with Rhydian. She was plenty excited and nervous. Getting changed, just thought of one thing, and that was to showcase who she was as a person and leader. That meant, she was breaking out the old leather jacket and fishnets that she had in her bag. She shimmied into her fishnets, throwing on her jean shorts over them, along with a cropped tee shirt, and that old leather jacket that just seemed to add the amount of edge that screamed her. Looking into a mirror that was on the wall, she almost screamed when she saw no black lipstick on her lips or her usual messy curls. She ripped the elastics from her braids and ruffled out the curls and then rummaged through her backpack for that matte black lipstick, and applied some carefully before she put it back along with making sure her things were slipped up under the bed then walked back out. She truely did look like some badass. She even had clean converse on her feet.

Kate even stood at the front of the room and started commanding again, like the leader she is. "You guys! Our Manager will be here soon! I do have a one thing to say.... We worked hard to get to this moment and debut... lets reach new heights as a team... as Stryka!"

Namil

He choked up when little Kyung-rae stopped him from going to change. He faced her and felt heat rise to his cheeks as she asked if she looked alright. He had no sense of fashion, and so looked a bit confused and embarrassed as he looked her up and down. The outfit seemed- cute to him. Possibly a bit childish but he wasn't sure if that was what she wanted or not. He glanced at their roommate for help, then shook himself and smiled kindly, "You look fine." He then darted out of the room and into one of two bathrooms, changing as fast as he could so the other's could use it. When he came out he ruffled his hair up, noticing their leader came out around the same time looking like a literal criminal. He tilted his head, a bit jealous of her looks to be honest. However when she spoke to them all he couldn't help but grin and clap a little in excitement.

Daiki

He could tell he had rubbed some of the older members the wrong way with his snappish attitude towards Kyung-rae, but he wasn't too worried about it. Over time they would learn the difference between him and normal people. Rudeness was just a part of his personality, especially when first meeting people. He raked a hand through his hair, entering the bedroom Jinwoo pointed out and then sorting out an outfit to wear while the manager was visiting. He heard the leader speak up and thought her little speech was good. She had potential to be a great leader, though that would probably cause struggle between them. Dai had wanted badly to be the leader of this group, but would have to settle. For now...

He pulled out a dark green t-shirt, black ripped jeans, and a jacket that would hang down to the back of his knees. He paired this with black combat boots which were spiked, and changed shamelessly in front of his friend. They were both guys so no big deal. Once dressed he fussed with his brown and black hair, frowning slightly as he tried to perfect. He really needed a haircut... and possibly a redye.

Seeing Kate go back to where they were all gathered up, dressed exactly like he occasionally would dress himself (the only reason why he wasn't wearing his own matte black lipstick was because he had woken up with dry lips, so no matte for today), Rhydian couldn't help a smile from appearing on his face and the compliment directed at her. They were definitely going to be great friends, he could tell. Also, what she had just said about them facing their first official responsibility as a group was pretty dope. "You look great", he silently mouthed the English words, hoping she would understand. He hoped to get along fine with everyone, of course, now that they were all there (even Daiki, because maybe what had just happened was nothing but a misunderstanding, who knows), but he also looked forward to a nice friendship with their leader, who seemed just like the kind of person he would enjoy talking to.

The boy blinked idly, but a question that Kyung-rae had directed at Namil and himself caught his attention, suddenly bringing Minjun back from his daydream. Minjun's eyes quickly trailed up and down the girl's clothing, quickly coming to the conclusion that her outfit was very cutesy looking.
" Ah, it really does look good on you. " Minjun said with a small, sheepish smile, still clearly nervous about stuffing up on his first day, wether it be saying something wrong or being completely hated by his teammates. 'Course this wasn't going to happen, but Minjun was the kind of guy to panic.

" Well, I'm gonna go adjust my hair in the mirror. " Minjun said as he decided it'd best be time to get his belongings into the dorm room and get prepared to meet the manager. The blonde uncrossed his legs and rose up from the sofa, then stood up, stretching his back. After he felt a satisfying crack, he stopped stretching, hurriedly got his suitcase and rushed off into one of the vacant bathrooms to adjust his hair.

The blonde walked in front of the mirror and frowned a bit, his hair not looking as good as he'd want it to. From his suitcase he pulled out a small bag full of cosmetic items he'd occasionally use from time to time. Min eyed the makeup, but knew he had no time to apply it properly, instead reaching for a hairbrush to correct his hair.

Kyung-rae waited patiently for them to answer, a bit nervous as they looked her up and down. But, when she got their okay, including a nice compliment, she smiled happily and nodded contently. "Thank you." she said kindly with a small, brief bow before moving to her little backpack and grabbing it, which had her makeup and other cosmetic and hygienic items in it. She decided that it would be a good idea to fix her makeup quickly, though she didn't wear that much makeup (she was more of a natural-makeup look type of person), and fix her hair. She walked towards one of the bathrooms and, making sure it was empty, went inside.

Eyeing her face and hair in the mirror, she pulled out a few makeup items and just cleaned up her look, brushing her long hair until it was free of tangles and hung prettily. Looking over herself once again, she gave a content nod before leaving. She looked pretty enough, she thought. But she felt a little insecure as her eyes fell on Katelyn, who was very pretty, as well as Sanghwa. Of course, she didn't envy her, at least not in a negative way, and definitely didn't have any bad feelings towards her. In fact, she liked her, from what she had seen and heard. But, her insecurity usually got the best of her, and such was the case now. And she couldn't help but feel nervous to be introduced to people and worry that the others would be more popular and liked than her. But she pushed those thoughts out of her head and listened to Katelyn's words, nodding with a few tiny, noiseless claps and a small smile on her face. Kate was a good leader, especially since they hadn't even debuted yet and, as Rain assumed, this was all new to her. She was good at encouraging them, that was for sure.

After that, Rae looked around, not liking standing in the complete open, and her eyes fell on Rhydian, who was near Katelyn (?). Other than Jinwoo, they were the oldest, and she knew she would feel more comfortable and safe standing near them. So, running a hand to adjust her hair, she walked away from the entrance to the bathroom and stood by them, her hands clasped together in front of her as she waited.

When everyone started to disperse, Sanghwa stood where she had been this whole time in the main room. Since she was technically supposed to room with Jinwoo, she wasn't sure what to do with the two men in there. After all, Daiki hadn't seemed so...welcoming. Her eyes shifted to her suitcase, then her sweats again, and she let out a little grumble of 'why do things have to be so complicated?' as she grabbed the handle and slowly walked toward the rooms. Either she could stay out, leave her things in the hallway and go get ready in the bathroom, or she could insert herself casually and without stumbling over her words to explain why she was barging into the room with two guys.

With a huff, she decided that hell with it, if she was going to live here with them for who knows how long, she might as well go for it. Taking a deep breath in, puffing out her cheeks for a moment, she finally knocked harshly on the door to let them know that she was coming in and opened the door, not bothering to take a look at the others in the room. She set the suitcase to the side, immediately kneeling down to open it and find one of her nicest outfits consisting of a dark jean skirt, a colorful striped blouse and simple heels among the mess of folded clothing. She happened to miss their leader's small motivational speech as she had disappeared into the room, too focused on acting casual.

It was so easy with Daiki. So easy to pretend that they were trainees again, that they were still teens messing around. However, when Daiki began to change, all Jinwoo wanted to do was look away and not stare at his friends body, but damn had that changed.. Jinwoo licked his lips feeling how dry they were, finally being able to tear his eyes away, he turned opening his own suitcase focusing on finding something good to wear. He decided on a loose fitting dark blue shirt, the long sleeves covering most of his tattoos. He had a simple black tee below and then the pair of ripped jeans he was wearing already were fine. He was halfway through buttoning up his own shirt when their door opened and Sangwa made her way in, ignoring the duo. She seemed to be so set on making it through she hasn't caught sight of the glory that was Daiki's body.

"Ah, yes. Daiki, this is Sanghwa, my roommate. Now be nice and say hello, nicely." He said reaching out to poke the talkers ribs before interupting the silence, " ahhh, wait! Now! Say hi nicely." Jinwoo said holding his shirt in front of the other male

Daiki

He had just finished getting dressed when the girl entered, seeming to ignore their presence as she kneeled and dug around for clothes in her bag. He looked her up and down, then growled, about to make a comment about her just barging in. A few moments earlier and she would of had an eyeful of him without clothes on. However he softened immediately for Jinwoo and bear-hugged his friend from behind, humming softly. "Hello, my name is Daiki." He trailed his fingers up to the buttons of Jinwoo's shirt, and easily finished buttoning it up for him. He then rested his chin on the other male's shoulder, eyeing her. "Would you mind switching roommates with me?" He felt more comfortable around his tattooed friend than he would with any of the others.

Namil

Nearly everyone seemed to be dressed now, and Nana walked out of the room and looked around. He considered who to stand by, and then noticed Minjun walk into one of the rooms, probably to fix his hair. To Nana it already looked perfect, but what did he know? Curious, the youngest boy followed his Hyung into the room, and came to his side. He reached up and fixed the older male's part, then swiped away a fallen eyelash. It took him a few tries to get it off, and he beamed once he did. "There you go Hyung!" He tilted his head, then bowed slightly before walking back out to join the others. He timidly approached their leader, Katelyn, and stood beside her. Her demanding yet encouraging tone somehow reminded him of his mom and he really liked it.

Sanghwa finally looked up at the other two in the room, her clothes being held tightly to her chest. She noted the way that they seemed to be so clingy to each other. After a moment of thought, she finally nodded, standing up. "No problem," she said softly, zipping her bag back up and pulled it out of the room to sit in the hallway. She went into the bathroom to change. Once she shut the door, she pulled her hair out of the ponytail and ran her fingers through it to detangle it. Satisfied that he hair seemed presentable, she changed into her outfit and slipped her heels on, stumbling a bit in the small space there was as she tried to get the second shoe on. Once she deemed herself ready, she gathered her sweats up, tossed them onto her bag and made her way into the main room where everyone else had started to gather and wait for their manager.

Whilst Minjun stared in the mirror and adjusted his hair, he noticed Namil open the door and waltz in. The boy shot him a quick, curious glance via the mirror, but didn't say anything as he was too concentrated on his appearance at the moment. His hair had to be perfect.
Personally Min would be far happier when the team could have makeup artists and hair stylists so they wouldn't need to go through the hell of getting every single little detail correct and keep it correct for an entire song. He had no idea how they kept hair so perfect, it was like some kind of forbidden magic.

Namil got close and fixed Min's hair, along with swiping away a small eyelash that Min had somehow failed to notice on his face. Min looked at the maknae and smiled softly, and gave him an appreciative "Thank you." as the boy left the room. Min glanced back in the mirror to take a second look at his hair and his face, but it seemed as if everything was as perfect as it could be- by his hands, of course.

Seeming as nothing could be done to further improve the hair, Min quickly zipped away his hairbrush and packed the cosmetics bag into his suitcase to rush it off to his dorm. Upon doing so, he walked back into the room the group was gathering in and stood a few feet away from Namil. He felt more comfortable with the young man, probably because he'd interacted the most with Min and seemed to be very enthusiastic.

Kang-Dae was currently in his room, digging through his closet and trying to decide what to wear. "This one? No, it might be too formal. This one? No, way too casual..." he said to himself. He sighed. He never was the best at picking out clothes. He wanted to impress the others, so he knew he had to come up with something.

Kang-Dae looked around and saw his Anpanman doll on the floor. He picked it up and smiled at it. "What do you think I should wear, Anpanman?" he asked the doll. He knew the doll wouldn't actually respond, but he liked talking to it. Kang-Dae then looked around, making sure no one heard him. If any of the members saw or heard him talking to his doll, they would probably think he was crazy. He quickly put the doll down and went back to looking for an outfit. "Gaah...such a hard desicion."

When Jinwoo felt the arms winding around his body, he was less than shocked. He relaxed into the taller's hold, his back against Daiki's chest as his fingers were moved from his button-up shirt and Daiki took over. When he was done the long arms settled around his waist, pulling him closer. This time Daiki was a bit less cold, introducing himself civilly causing the shorter to smile. Jinwoo was always happy when Daiki allowed others to see his less cold side. They had started out roughly too but not everyone was as stubborn as Jinwoo. He smiled fondly remembering how the taller tried to control the room of trainees as if he were the leader of them. Mostly, it worked, but Jinwoo was essentially the only one that tried to get closer and succeeded, after a while.

His fond smile faltered, suddenly as he asked Sanghwa to switch rooms with him, mouth falling open slightly. Sanghwa quickly agreed and left them, "Wai-.." Jinwoo felt a little bad, with how quick she left. "You're so naughty. We were drawing lots." Jinwoo pouted as he looked at the taller male. "Plus, you know you're going to end up in the same bed as me." The ravenette joked, remembering a few nights that Daiki had ended up in his bed to snuggle. "Let's go make sure everyone else is ready." He grinned poking the rapper's nose before slipping out of the room before Daiki could react. Coming into the room, it seemed most of the group was ready, and all held very similar styles. It was pretty awesome. With a big grin, Jinwoo nodded, "It looks like we're almost all ready.. Where's Kang-Dae?" He asked seeing as the pretty male wasn't among the ready members. The tattooed member knocked on a closed door, "Hey Kang-Dae," He called popping his head in, "You good, man?"

"Aha! Perfect!" said Kang-Dae. He had finally found a good outfit. He pulled out a black button up shirt and matching black jeans and layed them on his bed. He then pulled off his shirt and stretched. "Finally. I can get changed now." he said happily. He suddenly heard a knock on his door and went over to open it, still shirtless. "Annyeong, Jinwoo! Don't worry, I'm just getting dressed. I'm almost ready." he said proudly.

Daiki-

He felt jinwoo lean into his arms as he finished buttoning up his shirt. This was not unusual for them, as Daiki was constantly finding excuses to touch those he was close to.

He could still remember when he first met the other male. They were trainees, and Dai was an overconfident asshole who took charge. He had no plans to make friends, but Woozie had grown on him rather fast.

At the mention of sleeping together he smirked, pinching at his friends side. "Well of course I will, you're my own personal teddy bear." He let go of the other and nodded, "let's go. The manager will be here soon." He walked out after the other and raised his voice, taking control again even if he wasn't the leader. "Everyone be on your best behaivor. You're all replaceable." He gave each person a cold look, then stood alone with his arms folded. "Show complete respect. This man owns you."

Kyung-rae looked over as she saw Namil enter the room, with Minjun following not too far behind. She smiled softly to the two as Namil came up and stood near Katelyn, who Rain was also standing near. He probably had similar thoughts about their leader and standing next to her. And Minjun stood close to them as well. She moved over a few inches with tiny steps, so she could be closer to the other maknae. She looked at his outfit and nodded, once their eyes met, with a kind smile. She gave him a thumbs up, "You look good!" she complimented in quiet words before leaning forward slightly to look over at Minjun, nodding to him and whispering "you do too." with another sweet smile. She liked to compliment people, especially when it was deserved. There were just so many good things about doing it. But most importantly to her, it almost always made the other person feel happy, or happier than they already were, even if slightly.

The small female's eyebrows raised slightly as a sudden voice spoke out and she looked to see that it was Daiki speaking, authoritatively like before. Trying to not make eye contact and reveal her fear as his eyes went around on each of them, she nodded somewhat timidly to his words, feeling a bit nervous after hearing them. He wasn't wrong after all. They were all replaceable. And she was a bit scared that she wouldn't be able to stay in Stryka, that she would be replaced. She had known the manager for awhile, which was normal considering most trainees knew their managers and she had trained for about four years, but what if she wasn't good enough? Aish, she needed to stop thinking like that. Raising a hand to adjust a strand of hair that had fallen in her face, as a result of her head being angled a bit towards the ground, she stood and waited for their manager to arrive.

Jinwoo could hear Daiki in the other room, telling the other members to essentially be respectful, which they all were already. "Alright, hyung." Jinwoo smiled softly, "The manager is going to be here soon." He said before heading into their living room. Seeing the younger members anxiously awaiting the arrival of the manager, Jinwoo slipped next to the his dongsaengs, "No worries guys. You'll be great. Daiki just likes to be scary." He whispered. "Remember, you were chosen for this group for a reason. I believe in you." The tattooed males eyes locked with Kyung-rae, sending her a quick wink and a reassuring smile before moving back over to his tall friend. "You scare them so easily." He said to Daiki, slipping his fingers in between the others, "Lighten up a little, at least for the maknaes." There was a playful stuck out tongue to the other, though Jinwoo was well aware that Dai was never okay with lightening up, unless someone earned that right.
