Split of Entrance Tunnel
  • As Todd came to the soft light in the ceiling, it is a glowing fungus of some sort and there are only scratch marks made from the resident of the tunnel. The marks are long and are recent, with the tunnel turning down in two other directions; to his left, a dark tunnel without any light and to his right, another faint glow of blue...but where would it take him? Again, his target seems to not be home or it was much further down in the lair than it initially seemed...did it not detect him or was it waiting for his arrival without fear? Did this creature have more than instincts to guide its actions, the corpses he'd come across were not just strewn about, they had been placed with purpose.

Left Tunnel, Off of the Entrance Tunnel
  • As Todd continued down the darkness, a point of absolute no light came for him to find there were no other carvings or tunnels to veer off into but without being able to see in pitch black...the intruder was unable to see what was waiting. The floor had been hollowed out beneath him and it was constructed to give at a certain weight range, when he was on the center of that hole. Immediately, the floor collapsed beneath him and he travelled down a vertical tunnel wider than his arms could spread into a free-fall before coming to land on something stretchy since he bounced some. Or rather, he moved up and down for a ways before the surface had stuck fast to him and there was a faint blue glow coming from above on a wall of the tunnel.

    From the Vertical Tunnel
  • As Todd stood to his feet, there was nothing but silence to greet him and the faint sweet aroma coming from somewhere ahead. An aroma that had the same alluring delight as freshly made honey and flowers, the ground beneath him was packed earth. When he came to the source of the blue light, it was another ceiling mounted fungus that glowed and he was met with a chamber as opposed to another tunnel. It had been carved out a while ago and there were white bundles of what seemed to be silk cocoons along the walls, they weren't moving so it was unlikely that they were young.

The resident of this underground abode had become aware to an uninvited visitor to when she had discovered his scent upon coming back home from her berry gathering. She chittered a little in anger before cautiously entering the main entrance with slow steps toward the tripped trap that she had set up and began making her way down the tunnel, fully intending to deal with this intruder.

    Chamber from Vertical Tunnel
  • Unfortunately for Todd, unless he could rapidly climb up past the owner of the earthen homestead or dig through the earth at a rapid speed, he had nowhere to go as there were no other exits from the chamber he'd fallen into. The sound of scraping claws grow louder as she continues descending down the tunnel and within moments, he sees two long antennae poke from the only way out of the room. Those antennae are soon followed by sharp mandibles and then unblinking orange eyes that come to see him, she snaps her powerful jaws at him before fully descending down into the chamber with herself positioned to stop him from getting to the tunnel.

    The Facility
  • The helicopter was greeted by a full crew of scientists eager to collect samples and document the strange beast. The Drakedrone was put into a metal cage and the door locked before it was put onto a large cart with wheels, its restraints removed before the door was locked shut. "Thank you Todd, the money you asked for your fee was deposited as of now.", a man within a black suit shows a tablet to prove this fact, "This creature has been missing for some time."

    Outside
  • +Well, we make a great team...neither one of us knowing where we're going.+, she tried to make a joke as to lighten the mood though the tone it carried made it hard to tell that it was intended as such.

The statement that she had to 'toughen up' at this point is responded by her chittering as she had felt that she'd done okay thus far, she tried to help in the lab. Leaving this place was all she wanted and so when he comes to the main exit, she has no hesitation with thoughts to force them open if need be. Thoughts that become actions as the main exit doors were intended for humans and not horse sized creatures, but she does not have a problem with grabbing the middle support of the archway with both of her hand-paws. She has to rear up to do this but she keeps her balance and proceeds to bend the steel to the side as to force an opening for herself, +Now I can.+

Upon exit of the building, the two of them are met with a strangely organic surrounding for a city that was drowning in technology...a large field of green grass spread out around them. The building itself is revealed to look more like an old mansion from the outside with obvious upgrades to keep the owner in times with the world and there are several black cars parked towards the back of the building. At the side of the backyard of the property, there is what seems to be a large aircraft landing pad for helicopters and a much larger loading bay, likely to where she had been taken through to get inside.
