Viewpoint Storing Character Pages

I am new to forum roleplaying, but not character sheets. I have seen various ways of storing your characters, but what is your preferred method? If there's any reason to it, why?

it's always depended on where i was writing, tbh. i am primarily a discord roleplayer these days, so i keep character info on a private server that only has me in it. it's convenient to grab what i need. that said, i keep a backup of anything important on google drive. notion.so has been a great place to store character stuff as well. it's probably the most organized, and i use it often in my daily life anyway.

If it is just a basic, non-coded cs, I just put it in Google Docs. If it IS coded, I put it in private workshop on this site.

I typically don’t store any of my character sheets (probably bad, I know) but the few I do I actually keep in the Private Workshop section of RPN. Either that or I just “store them” within DMs.

Most of my characters are stored in my thread on the Character Showcase and Feedback subforum, though I have kept some in google docs or discord, mostly from offsite RPs.
