about
Death City is home to the famous Death Weapon Meister Academy, a technical academy headed by the Shinigami—Lord Death himself. Its mission: to raise "Death Scythes" for the Shinigami to wield against the many evils of their fantastical world. These Death Scythes, however, are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are born from human hybrids who have the ability to transform their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they have consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch's soul. Death Weapon Meister Academy is a school founded by Death to train meisters and demon weapons, maintain world order, and prevent the uprising of another Kishin.
Death Weapon Meister Academy serves a multitude of purposes; it exists to teach individuals from when they're young, as well as supervise them, to ensure the prevention of another Kishin rising and maintain world order. In addition, it is to teach Demon Weapons to control their power in an effort to prevent their power from accidentally hurting others as well as for them to properly integrate into society. Death Weapon Meister Academy is ran by the headmaster, though is supported by trusted instructors and faculty members within the school. In the Academy, there are two general advancement curriculum. These curriculum decide the purpose of both the student body and teachers present in the school; Normally Overcome Target Class (N.O.T.) which is for non-combatants teachers and students. Ninety percent of the students in the DWMA make up and follow this curriculum. The other is; Especially Advantaged Talent Class (E.A.T). This curriculum involves the students and teachers to use their power to fight against evil. The last 10% of the student body make up and follow this curriculum. The thread will focus on the E.A.T class partnerships as they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world's threats while working together under the snickering sun to become sounder in mind, body, and soul.

Weapons are anthropomorphic weaponry of the Soul Eater Universe, each can turn into a certain weapon, the very few being Death Scythes, the most powerful weapons. They are partnered with those who can handle them and make a friendly bond, called a Soul Resonance, together. Sometimes they're able to stand along in a fight by transforming a part of their body into the weapon, but usually isn't as successful. If you have this role you can choose which weapon you wish to turn into, your weapon type should play slightly into the personality of your character. For example a gun type character might be louder or more aggressive, or a fan type character delicate but hiding another side, ect.
WEAPON TYPES
✦ Scythe Demon Weapon: weapons that can transform into a scythe 0/1
✦ Gun Type: A Gun Type are weapons that are capable of transforming into a type of gun. 0/1
✦ Pointed Demon Weapons: Spears, pikes and almost all pole weapons. They typically have a sharp point designed to inflict penetrating trauma. 0/1
✦ Edged Demon Weapons: Swords, axes, fighting knives and daggers are some examples. These weapons are designed to cause cutting, dismemberment and exsanguination injuries. These are used to cut, hack, slash, thrust or stab. 0/1
✦ Blunt Demon Weapons: Which cover clubs, maces, war hammers, staves, and flails. These weapons are designed to cause blunt trauma, even through armour that would protect against penetration by pointed or edged weapons. 0/1
✦ Explosive and Incendiary Demon Weapons: Explosive and incendiary weapons include rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and flamethrowers. These weapons use blast and fragmentation injure people in the area around the point of detonation as well as flame to push back or injure others. 0/1
MEISTERS

Meisters are individuals with exceptional wavelengths who are paired up with Weapons should both the Meister and Weapon have a compatible wavelength. This is based on the personalities of the potential Meister and Weapon. Should they be compatible, the individual would be able to utilize their chosen partner with ease. However, if one's wavelength isn't compatible, dangerous effects from the rejection can result in injury and possibly death in extreme cases. It seems to be a prerequisite that a Meister be physically fit. In fact, nearly all Meisters revealed appear to be physically fit. Personality does depend upon what type of meister they are just like weapon type and does affect comfort levels with weapons, but it does not mean they are absolutely incapable of wielding a different type. it just means they have less experience and skill with other types of weapons.

✦ Genius Meister - meister who're labelled this are able to easily master any weapon to an extent. 0/1
✦ Scythe-Meister - meisters who employ the usage of demon scythes. 0/1
✦ Shadow Weapon - Meisters skilled in using weapons for assassination. 0/1
✦ Bladed Meister - A meister whom is skilled with the employment and usage of bladed weapons as a Demon Weapon, this includes edged weapons. 0/1
✦ Gun-Type Meister - As the name implies, Gun-Type Meisters are Meisters who wield and skilled in the usage of gun-type demon weapons 0/1
✦ Blunt Type Meister - A meister whom is skilled with the employment and usage of blunt weapons as a Demon Weapon 0/1

one a scale of 1 star to 3 stars with 3 being the strongest
✦ One star: This is the most common designation within the academy. Those whom are one-star often focus on performing well on quests and creating a death's weapon, a demon weapon fit to be a partner to Death himself. However, top performing meisters and weapons of a one-star ranking may also participate in undergoing many of DWMA's more serious and dangerous missions alongside three-star individuals. Top performing one-star meisters whom are deemed useful in suppressing more advanced threats may also be promoted to a two-star ranking. 0/5
✦ Two star: Those whom attained the two-star status are skilled meisters and weapons within the E.A.T Class whom have reached a level in which their skills can be better used within Death Weapon Meister Academy to fight against higher level threats such as the Kishin and the Witches. Two-star meisters and weapons can presumably take on two-star missions and are also able to perform missions ranking on "A", the second most dangerous mission type. However, within the academy, they're still only able to access library information levels at level 1. 0/5
✦ Three star: generally among the highest ranking people in Death Weapon Meister Academy's star ranking system within the E.A.T Class. Due to such a high ranking, they're known to be extremely skilled in combat. Promotion to such a rank is difficult and rare. Although the highest ranking and allow to partake in the most dangerous of missions, responsibilities are different and dependent on the individual's occupation; students are still only able to access library materials up to level 2. Three-star status also allows individuals to partake in "A" rank missions and even presumably "S" rank, the highest known threat level within the academy. 0/2

as the gm and most of the people so far are students with busy lives, this is a slower paced thread!! If that's not something you're into that is completely understandable. The limit of time before you will be skipped in a post is a month. If dont post within a month of your turn starting you will get a warning and if it happens again without notice, you will be kicked. This thread is also heavily dependent on partners as we cant move forward in the rp unless everyone has an active partner.
