The movie might be difficult to understand if you haven't played the games, but it handles the VRMMO aspects much better than SAO and has a sort of codebreaking/hacking mechanic that's pretty unique.

Yeah I got to minute #25. I will see about completing it if it fits with here then. I don't think I got to the hacking parts yet. Unless that was him activating his rage?

Was that sarcasm? =(. I don't like depressing stories. I like interesting, out-of-the-box stories. I did consider class-upgrades = Internet Explorer -> Mozilla Firefox -> Google Chrome. And class specializations = Internet Explorer (Security), Internet Explorer (Search), Internet Explorer (Multitask).

I'm not quite sure which direction to go in really. I could probably make them evolve into 1 of the three. Staying IE focuses on Search, going Mozilla has Security skills, and going Chrome gives multi-tasking skills. That seems cooler IMO.

How cool is it to say that though? "I'm going Mozilla." Or "I'm going Chrome."

No. It's just that a rp about people who abhor themselves and want to destroy humanity seems a little...

Class upgrades/specializations do sound cool. A lot of work depending on how many new skills you plan to add, but still cool. New skills are wonderful=) Conversely, you can grant a title depending which of the current skills a class chooses to master (assuming that mastering all of them isn't possible). Gigas Cannoneer, AntiVirus specialist, etc. And depending on which titles earned, an upgrade becomes available.

How many pages can you guys type in an hour?

Actually just trying to gauge how screwed I am.

It largely depends on how much prep work I've done, whether I know what I'm writing, etc.

Still...16 pages is alot =/ If it's double spaced, you might have a chance...maybe. Alternatively, you can try bloating up graphs and images to cut down some pages (though this only works depending on the class).

The only problem I have with class specializations is that we might not even have that much time to actually progress that far with our characters. Granted, Part 1 is likely shorter than the rest of the other planned parts because it's an introduction, but it doesn't seem like we'll even be able to grab our Ultimates until late Part 2 if Edge La continues to horde her Kirito and give us meager rewards for chores.

Dunno. In your dreams?

I assume, at a certain point, things will just be given to us when we're at a high enough lvl...via plot. Both Royal and Rhyme did get the option of 1000 Kiritos...which came unexpectedly. Perhaps the key lays with npc interaction.

Can a character hold onto an item in their inventory without using it for themselves? As in can they take it on or off at will?
