The Donburi Bowl
Bambalam
Shut-in is a funky little idea I’ve been sitting on for awhile. I tried it out once awhile ago, and it went well so far as I can tell. Anyways, the premise is that the character I’d play is a high school senior named Orwell (M17) who has a peculiar upstairs neighbor.
No, I’m not talking about above his family apartment or on the second floor of a condo or something like that. No, Orwell’s delightful neighbor is up in his head. A spirit by the name of Chim shares a headspace with Orwell. While one is in control, the other is shut into a grey room, with a large, grainy screen displaying the what the eyes see in black and white.
Your character, who would be a girl of the same age in this instance, happens upon Orwell in the woods near a park one night at just the wrong time, just as Chim decides he’d like to have a go at taking physical control. Normally, that might be alright, but Chim figured he might as well take on his own form when he’s in control, resulting in your character seeing an eldritch horror and a teenage boy flicker in and out of view. And then, we go from there. Eventually the hope is that it’s a romantic sort of situation, ya dig?
So idk man! If you’ve got interest in this sort of dealio please do let me know. I’m awful at managing time and keeping track of multiple things at once so I’ll probably only end up taking on one partner at a time. That said, first come first serve, but feel free to say hello anyways.
