Fantasy Seven deadly sins 1865. (A western supernatural Rp.)

I'm torn about what his power would be, though. I'm thinking about the ability to drain the life from people, but I don't like it that much. Do you guys have any ideas? EDIT:Nevermind. I got it. His power is invisibility, if it's available.

As for history here's a bit on the sins and John.
The seven deadly sins we're a gang of outlaws back in the day. Each was a specialist who was one of the best in the west in a particular aspect. The fastest hand, the toughest man, etc. Scott hired us to take out a particular train with a particular candidate in it. We had done work for him many times over the years. This time it was a set up. A small army of extremely skilled Marshalls were waiting for the sins. They were no match for them and they cleaved their way through the men to the candidate and slew him.
Once they finished the mission they split up to lay low. They were supposed to meet up after John Hammer met with Scott to collect the money. But John never showed up. Hammer had a sniper at the meeting place and the sniper hit John in the back. No one knows what happened to john, most assume he is dead, or that he ran off with the money. In reality John Hammer was recovering and training himself for his revenge plan.
 
Actually I just realized, since this rp has this type of setting, will there be any inclusion of The 4 Horsemen of The Apocalypse? Because if so I'd love to know the details on them, whether they'd simply be other characters or perhaps maybe they could be playable. And if not I'd love to play Sloth!
But yknow, if possible one of the four horsemen would be cool...

The four horsemen will likely make an appearance later on but they will be NPC villains. (I might let you play one or more of them, but not until after we get a little further and I get an example of how you play.) Their role is gonna be a bit important so I'll need to know I've got a bomb diggity RPer playing them.
(In other words it's a maybe, but definitely not until later.)

But before I start I wanted to take a vote. This kind of story is one that can be set in any era (with a little tweaking) . So that's what we will vote on.

1. Stone age: here our sins will be people from the early civilization who are extraordinary warriors. The first bronze age kingdom will be our new President caples.

2: Medieval age: here our sins will be a league of bandits each with their own crew, and each willing to work together to stop the evil emperor who will be playing the new president caples

3.Wild west: the story as is

4. Modern day: the Seven sins will be criminal outlaws on the FBI'S most wanted list. Only they have the skills and capabilities required to save the earth from the coming war.

5. Space age: the seven sins will be a group of space pirates. Recently targeted by the emperor (our president caples.) Due to an alien prophecy that speaks of the seven lights of man.

Yo sounds cool, this is just making me more and more hype for this rp. Hopefully I'll be able to prove that I'm a true bomb diggity RPer, but you'll be the judge of that. And in terms of powers I was thinking minor mind control for Sloth, obviously small and simple to start out so I'm not op. I don't know the logistics behind it quite yet but I'm thinking just really simple commands such as "Freeze", "Get Down", "Go There", etc.

I personally really like Wild West settings, so I'd like to keep it as is. But if there happens to be a vote for medieval I won't counter it.

Fab! Just want to elobrate a little, for shapeshifting would it be such as maybe rogue (x-men) or perhaps something like just into one other form? Don't want anything to special as you've stated and want to make sure it's correct.

I like the idea of either medieval or western. Mainly western.

If you don't want anything too vague maybe your character has 'Desire form' which is basically based on the wiki definition, "The user can take on the form of others' greatest desire, becoming what the viewer most wants their observant to be." It kind of goes with your sin.
