MistralAs the Airship landed in the city port, you were greeted by the nighttime scenery of the most beautiful, and menacing, kingdom of Remnant. Mistral controls the most territory of all four Kingdoms, encompassing a wide range of ecosystems and many diverse cultures. The higher class's stunning architecture and rich agriculture made the eastern styled city look more like a painting then a real place. Despite it being quite dark out, all manner of human and faunus were out and about. Carpenters sold their workmanship, blacksmith forged weapons and armor of the highest caliber , florists gave out flowers to people passing by, all in harmony. Further up the forest and mountain it was situated on sat Haven and Sanctum academy, and above it lay the council building and Mistal's CCTV tower. And outside city limits and far away are the two settlements, Wind Path, and Kuchinashi. But do not have the be fooled; petty thieves pickpocket through crowds, professional dealers lie in top secret locations, peddling in Remnant's largest black market, where one can get anything on Remnant as long as you have the lien. Both the good and bad have a home here. Question is, which are you? Written by the fantastic The Prophet The Prophet

Skyler Eden Sharp
When Skyler got the news about her Aunt’s state back in Mistral, her parents had made the decision to remove her from Vale and sent back to Mistral to take over the family company, until her Aunt is in better health. She had no say in the matter. It has been weeks since she had been sitting in for her aunt’s position as head of the family and company in Sharp Tech. She was starting to grow tired of it all. Her father was still station in Vale to keep things at bay, but she was back with her mother who has been more of a help than she would have thought.

The halls of the Sharp Estate located in the Mistral Mountian was quiet, as it has been since she had got sick. From what her mother told her, she and Sage brought life back to these halls. Her father had told her the reason, and even now it seems to haunt the halls. Silence and the past that lingers through every room and hall. Skyler was isolated in her Aunt's study as she went over documents that she would have been looking over. They were mainly documents about the company's numbers, but some were about new ideas and rules that had to be passed. Those she had to push to the side for her Aunt to look over later when she had to give her a report on what she did that day.

All of these things she had to now do on top of consistently worrying about her friends and family. She watched Sage go off with Cirrus, but then she soon had to leave without a single goodbye to her team. Skyler was shocked and worried about her aunt at the time of the news that once she was on her way to Mistral she was no longer able to contact her team. Recalling her team, she picked up her scroll from the grand desk before her, as she went into her contacts. She expected to see the signals to her friends and team to be none existent, but a ping popped up on Saffron’s connection. One by one, more of her classmates began to get a signal, which only meant one thing, they were near.

Rushing out of the office without a second thought she rushed to the front entrance to the estate. Several of the staff stepped out of the way as she passed, asking if everything was alright which only got answered with Skyler’s smile. It was a rare sight from Skyler since she had arrived back to the Grand Estate. Once she got to the door, her mother’s voice called out to her, “Skyler? Where are you going?”

Skyler looked up at her and simply answered, “I’m going to go meet up with my friends.”

Mistral Team
The trip to Mistral from Vacuo has been a long one, but the team was finally nearing the capital. The mountainous city that houses Heaven Academy. Things seem to be doing well from what they had experience on their way here. A few Grimm scares that was easily handled by the team and several others on board the ship.

“So…” Summer spoke up once they went over what their mission was, “We are trying to look for a plant called Etheria found in the mountain? How do we even know where to start? Did the professor show you an image of the flower?” Summer was seated in one of the seats near Saffron as Phoenix was looking out one of the windows as the Airship was flying over the Kingdom of Mistral. “Whatever it looks like, maybe we can be lucky and find someone selling it in the lower levels,” Phoenix spoke up from his spot, never once turning to see them.

Summer looked at her twins and asked, “You want to risk the Blackmarket? Isn’t that full of criminals? What if word comes out about what we are looking for and they try to get in the way?” Phoenix finally turned to look at his sister and the team, “It was a suggestion, but then again, we don’t really know where exactly we will find it since Mistral is mostly mountains.” He motioned out the window to the mountainous landscape outside the ship.

The voice of the captain came through the speakers as they announced, “We should be arriving at the Airship Landing soon, everyone. Welcome to Mistral” Like the captain said, looking out the window revealed the approaching city. So many buildings sat peacefully on the side of the mountain, which an elevator allowed everyone access to those buildings. After a few more minutes, the ship landed and the doors opened for everyone to exit. Once they did, they were met with a winded Skyler as she attempted to catch her breath between words, “I made it just in time…”

Jester trip wasn't very comfortable, being he spent the time in the cargo area wrapped in a heated blanket. Though he didn't have to busy himself with the minor Grimm frets as the students and crew easily took care of them. With his free time, Jester was able to just relax within his blanket and watch some videos on his scroll. He had done this kind of thing before regularly as his job required to enter a kingdom undocumented sometimes... most of the time really. Sometimes during nights, when Jester couldn't sleep he decided to mess with the students dreams a bit. Besides giving Saffron nightmares, he decided to be kinder to the other student who didn't get on his nerves. He gave them dreams of pleasant memories of their past. During these dream Jester made sure not to show himself in them to avoid attention. Also, a nice consequence of this was Jester learned few a things about the huntsmen in training, though mainly what Saffron feared and the others liked.

As the captain went on the speakers to announce their arrival to a Mistral landing zone. "Well I guess that's my cue to start suiting up," Jester said as he took his headphones out and put them along with the stroll up. After placing them into his suitcase Jester pulled out his more familiar clothes and mask. While it was bit rough changing in the back of a flying plane, Jester managed with a little bit of spiled ice dust on the floor. As he placed his mask he glanced at the stuffed animal cat, Candybar, that poking out his bag. He remembered Trix, and hoped she was okay... and that Dagger hasn't done anything terrible to her.

Now dress with his bags in hand there came an important question, what now? Most of the people in the passenger side of the ship disliked him. So exiting through the regular exit would not be easy. So Jester decided on two plans. The main plan was to wait for the beacon students to leave before he left. Then as a backup plan, he pulled out a very powerful smoke bomb that should fill the whole ship with pink colored smoke.

Cade Walsh

What a beautiful day, full of fun, full of opportunity, but most of all; full of a temporary security slash escort job you get volun-told to perform by a certain airship captain to make sure said airship gets to where it needs to go, with all of its necessary pieces and passengers, preferably. Of course, things could have gone without a hitch, Grimm didn’t have to show, but they did. Much to the dismay of the civilians, yet a chance to shine for a certain Haven Academy student; with a flurry of one-liners, flashy moves, and daring poses, Cade stomped those creatures of the dark back from whence they came. He could remember it so well. Red-wine locks battling with the air rushing passed the opening of the airship as it split through the atmosphere, his whip-sword screaming through the morning as it sliced locusts into itty-bits. Alas, all great spectacles come to an end eventually, chances come to some in bunches while to others they are sparse; few and far between. When the fighting was done, it was smooth sailing. He definitely signed some notebooks, arms, and hats after things chilled.

He could still hear the bubbling kids, awed parents, thankful crewmen, and even a few impressed first-years chatting up a storm. Cade wasn’t terribly humble, but this just made his ego boil over. The station neared, he could hear the booming voice over the intercom, “Five minutes from Mistral Station.” His dinner bell, the young, fiery headed man took his time standing up; stretching out, getting rid of the funk being relaxed for a while does to you. His belongings recovered in no time as five minutes away turned to one. He didn’t carry much, but his possessions were all significant to him in some way; his backpack, filled with school stuff… Surely. His skateboard cradled under his left arm, with new, custom painted trucks and wheels. Last but not least, his pride and joy; the sheathed, segmented blade at his left hip. The case that served as its resting place, labeled along either face with; ‘Gratia’. After a moment of deep inward thinking, Cade felt the airship slow to a halt; the stop causing him to sway a bit, but his balance was on point, even if it was minute showed especially in comparison to how the subtle change in forward motion effected the passengers around him.

When all was good, he stepped out onto the platform, glancing to and fro, mismatched orbs sweeping the length of the station before he lets go a sighing huff. A nearby bench would serve as the perfect target for his derriere as he plopped down upon it, his backpack set beside him, his skateboard underneath his sneakers to offer some temporary mind-numbing, downtime fun, and his people watching game beginning to amplify said fun. Thirty, whole minutes. Cade clearly expected a ride or something of the sort waiting for him if he was hanging out for half an hour with no sign of movement other than his idle antics. If it weren’t for the somewhat steady flow of airships in and out, he’d have no other entertainment aside from his board. Most peculiarly though, the highlight of this little soiree for one, was a woman in a hurry; her appearance lasted like a snapshot in his brain, the very light blue-nearly-silver hair, pale skin, how both had a stark contrast to her pitch black dress, the high heels, and that wide brim ‘sun-don’t-hurt-my-eyes’ hat. It stuck with him a moment. A few moments. Revelation. His lids went wide, but just to make sure he wasn’t about to look a surprised fool for no reason he whipped out his scroll. A few swipes here, a couple taps there, and he’d chirp, “Royalty,” for whatever reason.

That airship, the one which held the most interest for the out-of-breathe woman caught his mixed up hues just as well. He hummed to himself, scroll tapping against his lips as he evidently took a vacation into his mind; thinking hard and deep. As the doors opened, he could see a few individuals that he assumed formed a team as he watched, from afar, the woman stand before them; catching her breathe. Cade contemplated action; this was a once, maybe twice, in a lifetime chance. He used up the foreseeable future as prep time, standing from the bench and working up the game plan. Lips moving as he spoke to himself, Cade ran introductions by to himself; “Hi, I’m Ca- No. Too… Lame. Sup, my name’s Cade~” He shakes his head, “Too street. Uhm. Aw, cat butts.” The normally, warm and bubbly young fellow seemingly struggled. A light bulb must have lit up in his noggin as he snapped his finger, made a subtle gesture of victory, and collected his things as he did before.

With a confident stride he approached the group, with a cheery, friendly tone he would call out, “I’d know a gang of Huntresses and Hunters with both my eyes closed,” those multicolored eyes in question jumping from every face to get a read before resting upon the woman he saw prior, “I also don’t live under a rock, it’s really an honor, I tell you what. I’m Cade and it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Sharp,” boy was he taking a leap of faith on the correct title usage, but failure was always an option. His hand offered towards the woman, as if he expected to bridge the gap between his punkish, gutter-rat appearance and her classy, lady-like ensemble.

Mistral TeamThe twins were in the middle of having an argument on where to start first when Summer caught sight of Skyler. It was hard to not notice the pale blue hair and skin under the dark attire that she tends to wear. "Skyler!" she called out to her before rushing over to give the girl a massive hug, "How have you been!?" Skyler laughed at the excitement from her friend as she allowed herself to drop the usual serious deminer she had been wearing around Mistral. "I've been okay, just very busy with family stuff," she stated returning the hug.

The two females let each other go after another second of the embrace which allowed Skyler to look over to the rest of her fellow classmates she had missed very much. Skyler and Phoenix exchanged a small nod of their heads in acknowledgment. After their small talk back at the refugee camp, Skyler seemed to understand the dark man's mind and main focus. Phoenix would be lying if he didn't feel happy about seeing her being well, after everything that has happened.

Skyler was about to step forward to talk to Saffron when a new voice interrupted her. They all looked over to the red-headed man as he continued to approach the group. Phoenix and Skyler were more drawn to his eyes. Phoenix was more curious about them, but to Skyler, they reminded her of Slate. Summer was mainly curious about who the guy in general was. When she was pointed out for her family name, Skyler got a bit rigid but greeted him none the less.

"It's nice to meet you, Cade, but please I would rather go by Skyler than my family name," Skyler answered, slipping to her professional deminer that she had been going through since her arrival to Mistral. She took his hand to shake. As she did, she gave the young man a look over, taking in all that she could without being rude. From what she could make out, he looks like a street kid, which had a good sense in style. "I like the jacket," she decides to comment, to get out of the silence that followed after their introductions.

Cade Walsh

The focus to his eyes, those perusing gazes; they were rewarded with a wink of his left, it was subtle, playful, but understanding. They were peculiar, they aroused questions; red and white, such a daring combo. In the end, when he had introduced himself to Skyler, whilst tacking on that ‘Miss Sharp’ at the end he could immediately feed off of the rigidness; his mission became clear, he shook her hand in an unprofessional way, trying to let it sink in that he was no mere suit or a careless punk but a delightful in-between. He takes the time to respond, “Hell’s bells, Skyler, easy to say, easy to remember. I like it,” he nods once, twice, and a third time before standing there before the curious stares. His hands coming up, running along the zippers at the opening of his jacket, gripping just below his collar he’d give it a solid tug, “Thank you, thank you. I gotta say the same about that dress,” his fingers form the dreaded ‘ok’ sign, “Pretty.” The street kid didn’t even seem awkward; as if the silence left him far from fussed. “Are you a Huntress, too?” He inquires, suddenly; his face lighting up as he thought on the possibility.

After a moment though he shifted his gaze to the others, a warm smile on his features with a radiating sense of ‘Hey, I know future friends when I see’em’. He would reach into his pocket, pulling out a lollipop; unwrapping it and plopping the candied end into his mouth. He’d reach into the same pocket, retrieving a few more; he would approach each of them, instead of a hand to shake, a bit of candy to take, “I extend the olive branch of peace, love, and happiness in the form of many flavors; we got, strawberry, cherry, orange, gross grape, and whatever this damn mystery waffle tasting lollipop was trying to do with its life,” hoping at least one of the many candy topped sticks he offered was taken he would end by moving back to Skyler and offering her one as well, “Where y’all from?” He directed towards the others, “I’m pretty good with faces and I’ve never seen yours around here, or Haven.” He lets slip his observational skill, “But ya seem about my age, maybe first or second years at a different Academy?” His heart dropped to his stomach as he realized a very, strikingly terrible possibility that he may be talking to Beacon students.

While his nervousness showed for a split second in fear of resurfacing awful memories of such a tragic moment he would instantly follow up with, “Ah, ya know what; where ya from, doesn’t matter, so long as you gotcha bros with ya,” he desperately tried to dismiss the question he just threw their way, but in doing so might have very well raised one about him; Where was his team? He cleared his throat and continued softly, “Anyways~,” he starts, “If you’ve never been to Mistral, I know this bangin’ pizza joint; give ya a chance to get rid of the jet lag, yeah?” For all he knew they could be on a life-or-death level mission that may definitely be the difference between the continuation or end of humanity and fauna as they know it. But I mean… Pizza.

Mistral TeamCade was a firework, was Skyler's thoughts on the young man. An overactive individual with no stop but with a flashy surprise. It oddly reminded her of Summer on a sugar high, not that she had seen her that way, she just assumed that would happen. Clearing her throat, trying to keep her slight tint of red in her cheeks from being more noticeable and answered, "First years, but yeah. Well if I don't get forced to stay here that is..." The last comment was more under her breath to herself than to anyone.

The twins watched at the interaction between the two but allowed them to have their moment. Summer looked over to Saffron to see what he was thinking but was pulled back to quickly to know by Cade's offer of candy. Summer's eyes grew wide at the sight of them and quickly took the Strawberry lollipop for herself. "Thanks!" she exclaimed popping the candy into her mouth, smiling at the sweet taste that overtook her taste buds. Phoenix just shocks his head to decline the sweets, causing Summer to gasp at him. "Don't you start," he looked away from his twin, "I'm not very open in accepting candy from strangers... do you ever listen to what mom says?"

Summer gave him a look, "Really, Nix? You are not one to ask me if I listen to mom. We literally gave her and grandpa the slip before coming to the others." Nix gave her look before commenting, "See what happens if you drop dead from taking things from strangers." The twins went into their own argument, throwing shade as they went back an forth. Cade's next question made the twins stop their banter. As he tried to avoid his own question, the next comment about having their friends with them only hang deeper on their heads. Mainly Phoenix, as he kept silent with a distant stair off to the distance.

Skyler looked over to her friends before stating, "I am okay with getting away from my place for a while, but it's ultimately their decision." Summer became a bit more serious as she looked at everyone in her current team for the mission and answered, "Actually we have business to attend to, but if we have time to spear..." She didn't finish her statement as she looked over to Saffron, trying to hear out another leader's thought about the current situation.

Cade Walsh

He didn’t seem to mind that they were First Years, “Forced to stay here? Oof, let me tell you I’m no stranger to expectations and responsibilities; I may not be able to relate to ya, Skyler, but there’s quite the weight on shoulders that belong to important last names. I can understand that much at least,” he smiles at the girl before Summer, who seemed to speak to Cade’s own mannerisms snatched the strawberry flavored candy. He would hum, “Good choice, you’re gonna go far-” Then who he assumed was her brother, he clutched his chest; heartbroken. Mistaken for not just a stranger, but a candy-giving stranger of a low caliber. He sighed, then unwrapped a few more lollipops and as if in an act of defiance towards the one called ‘Nix’ he would shove two more into his mouth to prove that they were laced with poison, just totes sweet. Speaking, with a full maw was difficult, but he tried, “I’m not just any stranger, compadre, I’m a fellow student. I didn’t spend all this time at Haven, getting to the top, just to be confused for a mysterious candy peddler!” He huffed, nodding his head a few times more.

When the atmosphere saddened he looked gloomy; as if he knew it was his words that ushered recollection. He smiled around the trio of lollipops overwhelming his lips, before taking two out and tossing them into a nearby garbage can; the feint hint of a tear in his left eye which he’d wipe away, “What a waste,” he sniffles. Then turns back to the group, “From how you looked, when I was talkin’ outta my ass just then… Y’all are from Vale,” he made the assumption, “Sorry about that. Even though I didn’t know, with all the shit that’s been goin’ on it would have been a fair guess. I definitely don’t know what you guys went through, but… If it’s any… If it helps, I mean, I know how ya feel, if only a little bit.” He states, a vague sense of something to relate to put on the table even if it didn’t make things better. When the topic returned to pizza, but was swept under the rug by the notion of business, “Oh, hey; well… Don’t get me wrong, doin’ work is important and the more important it is the better it is to get done quick, but ain’t a soul in this world that can be effective without rechargin’ batteries with some food stuffs,” he pitches, perhaps he felt he owed them something for bringing up bad memories, “It’s on me, I got… Connections.” He would let his gaze fall upon the one Summer looked towards for guidance.

Cade felt no sense of shame in denial, but he clearly didn’t want things to be left on a sad, misty-eyed note. He would bring his skateboard up and behind his head, hands slipping behind the kick-tails and gripping the skyward edges as he tried to appear more relaxed, “It’s no big deal, until your stomach growls and tells all the Grimm in the immediate area, ‘Hey yo, I’m right’chere’, ya know?” He would reinforce his point, before stretching a bit more, “Besides, if you guys have business in Mistral; like I said, I have connections and as a fellow Hunter, I feel it is my duty to throw all my eggs into your basket, if it means I could do some good in the day.

Saffron had not slept well during the flight. Even on the few occasions where he slept without Jesters interference he still had nightmares.Always about Mistral, The Trials, and Viridian. Mistral was the last of the locations that he had wanted to go, but when everyone else had chosen Menagerie and Vacuo except for Kyra he realized he was left with little choice. He didn't know the girl so he couldn't trust her. At least between him, Iris and the Rose twins he was sure things would get done.

As he stepped off the ship and saw Skyler he gave a weary smile. Finally something is going right here he thought, before it was immediately dashed. As he listened to,and sized up Cade he glowered. "He's as bad as Tyrian" he muttered to himself"same cocksure attitude"

He snapped out of his reverie as he realized that they were looking to him for answers. "Thanks for the offer Cade, but we're kinda pressed for time. You're welcome to tag along I suppose, but it might interfere with your studies. Sky you know you're always welcome with me." Looking at the other students he said simply "We should check the markets first while we're here like Phoenix said. Though I'd prefer to start at the upper levels if possible. Then we can check the lower levels, and I've got people i can ask although I'd rather avoid them, and then if that doesn't work i can try to get in touch with my dad. He's always saying he knows the mountains like the back of his hands, so maybe he'd know" he trailed off as he glanced out towards the city and shivered. Another ill wind is blowing...why'd i agree to come here

"Hey, yes is this Jake's cabs service?... Oh good. I need a ride from the ****** air field soon.... You have one in the area? Good, send him over and I'll meet him out front. I'll be the man in the mask and metal cat ears... I highly doubt that's the strangest thing your cabs have ever picked up" Jester said on the scroll in the back of plane as he waited for the huntsmen in training were leaving. A little later Jester made his way to exit with a bag his shoulder and wheel a suitcase behind him. Once at the exit Jester peaked out the door to see if they were still there. While the kid where still there they were talking to another kid, probably another huntsmen in training.

Not wanting to get charged extra for making the cabbie wait Jester decided to start sneaking of the plane. Calmly Jester began getting off the ship, trying to avoid the eye sight of the students while they were distracted talking to each other. So first I should rent a room at the motel... Then I'll check with my contacts and see they are either selling the plant or if they know where I can get it... Then after I get the plant I rub it in the suicidal birds face... Jester thought to himself as he walked down the air field to the exit.

Mistral TeamThe twins looked at each other before Phoenix spoke out, "I'm giving you guys the lead on this since this is your home turf. Summer and I will just help in any way you need us to help." Summer nodded, a smile ever present on her face. "I agree, it would be a waste of time to have us poking our heard in places that we shouldn't, even if our semblances can get us out of it," Summer commented, "So are you with us, Skyler?"

Skyler on the outside looked a bit put off, but on the inside, she was ready to explode with joy at the first sign of freedom, but she would have to stop by the Estate to see how her Aunt is before making any major decisions. With a smile, she answered, "Glad to hear that, Saff. I already know who you are talking about, and from what I remember they would be more than willing to help out. I would recommend rest tho..." The more closely she looked at most of the team, she can tell they hadn't received a good night sleep if any. "If time is of the essence, I can go get our contacts while you guys rest up. My home is always opened to guys," Skyler offered.

Phoenix let out a tired sigh as he recalled the nightmare sessions he had been having. "Oh! I'll join you since it seems like I have been the only one to survive whatever they have all gone through," Summer offered. Phoenix went to argue but Summer placed her hand up for him to stop, "We are not arguing about this. It's clear that you have been having nightmares. You need sleep." Phoenix crossed his arms as he huffed, "Fine, but if anything happens, you won't hear the last of it." Summer waves Phoenix's threat off as she laughed, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got the message, Nixxie!"

Skyler looked over to Saffron for his final say in the matter, "Your say, Saff."

Cade Walsh

Shot down. Man he really wanted pizza. He wanted it more, after he started thinking about how he wouldn’t get pizza. He wasn’t even paying attention to the one assessing him, he could barely hear the muttered words, “Co-what, hey man; there’re ladies present,” he absolutely didn’t catch the words exactly. He would shrug his shoulders, “I can deal, pizza can wait,” He was totally lying, pizza could never wait, “Tag along?” He questions, “I’m pretty ahead in my work at the Academy, so the only way I’d fall behind is if this field trip took weeks…” He may have continued to play the casual, carefree guy, but his eyes were searching; his mind was calculating. He wasn’t about to impose himself if he didn’t want to benefit them, “Now, I know I just said somethin’ about all my eggs in your basket, but if I know what you guys are lookin’ for, I can help best. If it’s crazy, I know where to look, if it’s not crazy; I still know where to look… The mountains?” He was trying his best to follow along, “Hot dog, I wasn’t expecting this to happen today,” he hums.

His gaze would jump to the siblings, as they spoke he listened; he couldn’t deny that it would be bad to get caught by the wrong people in the underbelly, but at the same time he knew the streets well enough. As Skyler explained her predicament he nodded his head, even though he had been more or less dismissed somewhat from the conversation. He would finger guns Summer and Skyler, “Since I’m as right as rain and grew up on these streets; I’ll take his-” He’d aim the finger guns at Saffron for a moment, “Invitation and apply it to you two, aight?” He would bring his board from its perch behind his head to the ground, spinning it on the rounded end of the kicktail, “Before I sign up on this little party, I only know one of ya by name so far; that’s gotta change, fellas.” He was friendly in tone, his orbs shifting in his head as he glanced between them.

After all it’s rude to-” Gasp, “Masked Crusader!” He manly squeals randomly while pointing at the shrouded individual trying to calmly and sneakily escape the ship, which didn’t register with Cade; all he saw as a cool cape, mask, and ears. “Ey!” He calls out, “You like pizza?” His question was short, simple, and sweet. A question that had only one real answer. He’d look to the others, “I know y’all said no to pizza, but one of my connections works at the joint I was talkin’ about. If there’s somethin’ you need to know, but don’t wanna deal with the dirtiest dirt of Mistral, she’s the chick to chat with.” He was waaay open with his information, as if he didn’t think that it could come to bite him in the ass whatsoever.

The ride over to Mistral was relatively boring outside of few Grimm that were dispatched quickly or Saffron pointing out an interesting sight to the blind girl. Iris understood why Saffron kept her attention for the majority of the ride, her fear of heights well known to the only person she'd venture in the skies with. Conversations with the twins and a few intrigues through the windows made the flight feel shorter, but Iris didn't mind the time. Despite little 'vision' due to the noise of the engine making her hearing dampened and the significant height Iris felt comfortable in her seat. With the prospect of seeing her dad, being away from the chaos of Vale, and the proximity to Saffron; Iris might have looked happy on the ride over. The tint of a blush on her fair skin and small grin peaking out from her small hood as she counted down the minutes until she reached home.

Reaching the station Iris took a bit to make sure she got her bags, tightening the strap on her underused weapons. By the time she'd collected her things she'd figured out who had come to see them; Summer's squeal easy to hear as long as you weren't deaf. Iris wasn't upset at the news of Skyler being with them, but as she walked out of the airship her smile was noticeably missing. Silently joining the group well into their conversation, Iris was able to finally get a clear 'view' on the group around them. Saffron, Phoenix, Summer, Skyler, and another student from his talk. Iris's eyes stared at him as she let the group's talk bounce off his figure, giving her more details. Iris shifted herself from the side of Saffron, pulling down the hood that covered her ears.

Maybe it was his friendly attitude or that he was a local, but Iris moved her arm to introduce herself before another squeal broke from the group. "Masked crusader?" Iris questioned aloud, got off guard by the exclamation. Iris turned to Saffron and then the direction he was screaming, "The janitor!?" She asked, more afraid over anger. If Saffron had reason to not want him in Mistral, then Iris had plenty of reason to worry.

The only inconvenience with heading to Mistral was the fact that Kyra had to get her motorcycle into the damned plane, which also carried her weapons inside for convenience. And having arrived at the plane before everyone else to actually bring the bike in, and subsequently not being present in the passenger cabin, cause she had to stay with her packed luggage. And since the aircraft wasn't built with the necessary compartments or harnesses to fit a motorcycle, Kyra was left to sit in the storage hangar, making sure that her vehicle would not get damaged. For the entire duration of the flight. And since there was no windows, and only one pale white light, it was physically and mentally draining as the flight time seemed twice as long from her perspective. She tried passing time with anything, but eventually just decided to take a quick nap to try and wade out the flight. By the time she had woken up, the aircraft had already landed. For how long? She didn't know.

But, it was a huge relief for her, since now, she can finally get out of the confined space. She took her time to carefully move items to make room to take her vehicle out, and also took her time in unharnessing her motorcycle. Once she was done, she took the vehicle out of the plane, she started tying her bags onto the rear of the vehicle, and took her weapons out of their cases, to put into the motorcycle's weapons compartment. All while she was doing this, the rest were on the other side of the plane interacting. And while she was making her final adjustments, she could hear the muffled chit chat on the other side.

Just as she finished, and was about to turn the corner, she heard a squeal form Cade, who was pointing at an individual. "Masked Crusader?" Kyra said to herself before turning her head towards whatever Cade was pointing at. Since she had no idea who this person was, or what Cade was rambling on about, Kyra just stood still, more confused than anything else, waiting for someone else to speak up.

Jester was making his way past the young huntsmen without them noticing... Until someone shouted out for a Mask Crusader. Jester Frozen for a second before turning on one foot to look at the kid who shouted for him and was now asking if he liked pizza. "Ummm...Yes, I do..." Jester said before glancing over the group of Huntsman once more. Jester coughed to clear his throat as began to think quickly. While slightly more then half the current group didn't like him, the other didn't know anything about him. So if he was able to get there trust he may come out of this alright. Jester then began making his way to the group slowly. "You are right to call me a masked crusader my friend, for I am the mask merc himself, Jester master of bombs and dreams. I am here on an important mission to save the world." Jester said as he got close enough to put his hand on Cade's shoulder.

"I think you said something about a contact at a pizza place? Well, how about we go there and have some pizza. My treat of course." Jester said trying to buy the trust of the young huntsmen in front of him and possibly get the sympathy of some of the others in the process.

As Cade called out a man in a mask, and at Iris’s exclamation Saffron’s head whipped in the direction the youth was calling. His face twisted into a snarl when he recognized who Cade was talking to. As the clown came over, Saffron’s eyes narrowed before he sighed, releasing the tension. Turning to Skyler he began speaking in his tribe’s tongue, phrases that she knew. “Kash-rei Vaatuu? Kretal cor lash Quaal iv resh ta” (Do you have your daggers? He was warned.)

Skyler looked over to where Cade was calling out, to only see a familiar clown. Even if the last time she came across him with Phoenix was under mutual understanding. Seeing and having him in her home Kingdom, it oddly infuriated her in a away. She doesn’t know why everyone is even here to do, or what had happened before they came with Jester, Skyler was not going to sit back and watch.

Her blue eyes never looked away from the approaching Jester, as she listened to the familiar language Saffron had taught her. Skyler gave Saffron a nod, her hands slowly resting on her sides. She had been practicing, and if she needed to, she was more than capable of stopping anything major from happening.

Saffron closed his eyes. He had taught himself a few new tricks since Beacon fell, things he hadn’t shared. One was something inspired by Iris. He let his mind wander, mingling with the wind until he could feel Jester close, feel all of those around him, almost like Iris’s echolocation but without the definition she could get. Thirty feet….twenty feet...fifteen...ten. Now Then he exhaled, his aura infused into the breath. This was a lot harder for him, precision with his aura had never been a strong suit. And with it being a new ability he still had trouble with it, but he was confident he could maintain focus long enough for this. In actual combat would be a different matter. The air around the group’s feet swirled, as it curled it’s way toward Jester, Kyra and Cade. Then it solidified. They were locked in place. He had nothing against Cade and Kyra, but they didn't know what was going on and he didn't want them interfering. Finally a more practical use for this than dancing Saffron thought.

Skyler watched as the older man made his way over to them. As soon as he came close to us, she noticed it. She had gotten so used to Saffron’s aura in action that she can always pinpoint it from anywhere. The moment that it solidified, causing Jester to be trapped in place. Skyler was shocked and impressed at the lengths that her friend had gotten from the last time she had seen him.

Placing his hand on one of Skylers he grabbed the handle of the dagger on her hip. “Vayuum kat reeaytal shree” (Glad to have you on my back) he said to her, drawing it. “You were warned not to come here man. I gave you an out.” he said calling backwards to the man in the getup. He turned, walking over to him. He covered the distance easily with his long legs. “Now I have to make good on my threat.” He sank the blade into Jester’s body and swiftly withdrew it.

Skyler finally looked away from Jester upon feeling Saffron’s hand on her’s. She watched his eyes as he made his comment. It distracted her from noticing Saffron taking one of her daggers. Block, the switchblade, was slipped off her waist. Shock. That was all that she was able to feel. It froze her in place as Saffron walked away from her and over to Jester.

“I assume you remember Skyler’s blades and their poison? If you look at the wound you should be able to see it beginning to course through your veins. Although I’m not sure what this one does.” Saffron looked curiously at the dagger in his hand, turning to his long time friend. “Sky, which one is this? What does it do?”

Upon heating her nickname, Skyler finally snapped out of her initial shock. Shock slowly got washed over with multiple emotions she wasn’t able to focus her mind in one. As she walked over to Saffron, it was clear that she was shaking. He eyes only looked at the dagger in Saffron’s hand as she answered, “Block goes for the nerves. Paralyzing the individual, but set in the lowest level, it would go away after a while.”

Skyler stopped beside Saffron. She was still looking at her dagger before she slowly and calmly placed her hand over Saffron’s hand, noticing a slight tremor in his. Slowly, Skyler removed the blade from his hold. At this very moment, she was glad she had asked her father to help place a dial on her weapon after what happened at the dust shop. The last thing she needed is another person’s blood on her weapons, not without a reason she knows of.

“He’ll be out of the paralysis in a few hours, five hours, tops…” she made the comment. Her voice was shaky and low as she deactivated the dust before returning it to its spot on her thigh. She kept her hands near the rest of her weapons on both thighs as she began to step away from the two. Skyler didn’t want to risk looking over to the others, not wanting to look away from Saffron, since Jester won’t be moving anywhere without assistance.

“Paralysis? And they have levels now? A bit of a shame, but at least the beginning of my homecoming isn't marred by a murder I suppose” Saffron sighed, turning away from the clown. “Now the only question is what to do with him…”

"Lieutenant, may I remind you that, especially while on duty, I will not excuse even the slightest violation of our code of conduct. May I refer you to Article 2A Subsection 7 under Alcoholic beverages? No Officer on duty may partake in the consumption or distribution of any alcoholic beverages. Should violation occur he/she shall receive 2 strikes and be demoted accordingly by the ruling of the highest ranking Officer present. So, Private, as the highest ranking Officer present, I must offer you some advice. Read the code." Came the monotone yet stern voice of the small girl Shian Night as she reprimanded an officer caught drowning a bottle of potent brandy in his office. Despite his insistent pleas of reconsideration, Shian turned on her heel and began to walk towards the door. "Now if you'll excuse me Private, I must find the idiot I call my captain. One may only assume he's out being a bother."

With some help, she eventually found herself on a large wooden box overlooking the majority of port, when she spotted Cade and a party of people she'd never have seen before. "Cade, you imbecile. You have no idea of the trouble I've had trying to find you. I've called several times, but to no avail. It really shouldn't be so tedious to run a simple errand." She complained, hopping down and approaching the group. "As for the errand, since you decided not to answer your scroll, I had to personally inform you of our fellow teammates' departure. They left on break in order to see their families and should return in by the end of break. They had to leave while you were out, so they send their farewell as we-!"

Before she could continue, in a flash, a lot of events transpired at once. A masked man approached at the call of what she assumed was case, spoke a little bit, and in a flash was assaulted by two students. While this happened she sprang back and pressed a button to call forth her weapon while sending out a beacon calling any nearby police to secure the area, and in a brief moment it was dropped by a machine to which she grabbed it and stormed in as the fight concluded. "Stop right there! Everyone stand down!" Shian ordered, standing in front of the masked man and Cade. "Assult is a crime and you shall be punished to the full extent of the......law?" She trailed off as she looked at the affected and his attackers. A Sharp and a faubus, attacking a masked clown? Wait a second. In a flash she looked over some Police reports she remembered, and realized her error. Turning to the clown, she raised her blade. "Jester Nightmarish, you are a wanted Criminal and have countless warrants related to your arrest. This is the end for you.". Making a call, she calmly and sternly called in. "This is Night. I need 6 alpha class officers and a high value transport on my location. We have Jester Nightmarish. Over." Then proceeded to wait for the aforementioned support to arrive. They quickly came, and after a bit of ordering around the criminal handcuffed and tied, placed in a security airship, and heading immediately towards the cities' high security prison. Shian spent the next minute making calls and making preparations, this was a big arrest after all. When she hung up, she suddenly remembered the group involved in all this. She turned around quickly, slightly embarrassed.

"Ah, my apologies. I did not mean to make such a scene. I must apologize again for my nearsightedness, I did not realize the nature of your assult. I have it on file as a citizen's arrest, but please do be more careful. Thank you for acting in my absentmindedness, and for not harming the suspect more then neccessary.". Bowing, she continued. "My name is Shian Night, Only Daughter of Arthur Night, this kingdom's Director of Police. I'm assuming you are visitors, correct? I do hope you won't cause any discord. Though you all have the air of good people about you." She greeted, bowing slightly to be polite. "May I ask you what your business is here? I don't mean to be rude and pry, but knowing cade, he has probably already agreed to help you. And being that you seem to be students as well, and Miss Sharp is your ally, it would be a disgrace for me to not aide as much as possible." Shian continued.

Rose Twins & Skyler
Upon hearing the title of 'Masked Crusader,' Phoenix quickly put himself in front of his sister, not wanting whatever Jester had planned to combat against both Saffron and Skyler. He knew what Skyler had told him back in the refugee camp, but he never pushed it further. The attack was done and over with within seconds, but the gasp that came out of Summer upon seeing Saffron sink the dagger in Jester was not missed by Phoenix. "But why?" she whispered, still shocked. Phoenix stood still even as someone came running over to what was happening, "They have a history. I would talk to Skyler about it if you really want to know."

Skyler was still on edge as she waited for Miss Night to finish the arrest. She was not informed of the matter of the current criminals in town since she had been so busy to even go out. This was the first time she had stepped away from her task back home. Once Miss Night was finished, Skyler walked up to her and extended her hand to her, putting back her Sharp Heiress mask, "Thank you Shian. My classmates seemed to have come on a Mission." She looked over to the others now as she looked at anyone to come up. The Twins were the ones to do so as they displayed their student IDs.

"Summer and Phoenix Rose, we are here on a mission to get a specific object located here on Mistral," Summer spoke up, slipping into her role as leader, "The matter of what that is, is best to be discussed in a private setting." Phoenix spoke up next, "You said we could talk at your Home, right, Skyler?" Skyler nodded, "Yes, of course. You and Cade are free to join us. We will be calling in a few other students from Haven to help, but I think it would be best that everyone take a break after their long journey and the sudden arrival of Jester..."

Cade Walsh

The Janitor?!” He shouts in return, he had absolutely no clue what was going on as this new individual popped out; he waved back as she did, even if it was a little late. Another voice was heard, he saw someone rounding a corner over yonder and waved to the other woman too, “No! It’s the Janitor!” He corrects her before feeling a hand on his shoulder, “You sir, are cultured and we’ll have-” He gasped when he alluded to paying, “Yes! My contact she’s-” The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as he heard that voice, his hands clenching, and his skin turning pale for a moment before he spun around to address the voice, “I’m not an imbecile I’m just oblivious!” He truly wasn’t stupid, he was just honest. He would place his hands on his hips and grumble, “I don’t acknowledge the authority of someone that has to stand on something to even look eye to eye with me,” he took a stab at her height without mercy, “A simple errand?! You- I-! I just got here!” He extends his arms in a shrugging like manner, then he lowered his hands to his sides realizing why she was scolding him, “Are they alright? Their families? I… Hell’s bells…” He went from being very defensive to extremely dejected as he pulls his scroll out of his pocket, swiping through messages and of course all of Shian’s calls.

He would try to move, most likely to go off and get in touch with his teammates that were off to see their families; it was at that moment he realized his feet would not move, he felt like he had steel blocks around them. His legs tensed as if he were trying to lift them, but he couldn’t; he gave a, “Eh?” As he looked down, only to see things transpire in a way he never expected; of course he felt the sudden rise in tension, hell he could cut it with a knife, he also briefly saw the intense heated riling of the one that called him cocksure. He saw a dagger nearly go into someone, then all this nonsense about poison; his eyes went wide, then they narrowed, “Hey! Shi-” He didn’t even have to call out to her she was already between he, the masked man, and the latter’s assailants. He still couldn’t move, “Yeah! You tell’em Shian! Assault is a crime!” He parrots the Officer and nods his head enthusiastically, when Shian seems to realize the craziness of the situation he raises a brow; it was not often something stalled her like that. He glanced between everyone, all of the faces he had come to know over the past however long he had been standing there chatting. Then he heard Shian’s words, “Criminal?” Almost as if he couldn’t believe it, did this kid seriously take first impressions to heart? All of a sudden he could feel the weight off his legs, his hand had long gone instinctively for the hilt of his sheathed whipblade, but he waited. When he heard ‘Alpha Class’ he narrowed his eyes, right at this man known as Jester; he didn’t understand it completely, but it was enough to stow his protest.

Cade sighed, looking to Saffron; a cautious gaze, then as if he had the ability to get over anything at least after he says, “Hey, next time; don't be such a Maverick, we’re in a crowded airship docking platform. We could have done this at a quieter place and not put this many people in danger; better yet, we could’ve waited for the Cavalry,” he gestures to Shian, before looking to her, “Sorry for that, Officer,” using the term in a somewhat joking manner before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a familiar candied stick; this one with a clear wrapper rather than one that was colored to dictate the flavor, he’d hand it to her, “You did good,” what a valiant leader, quick to reward his subordinates. He looked between the twins, then to Skyler. When the former introduced themselves he smiled, “Twins.” He says with a chuckle before nodding his head, “Very nice to meet ya,” he could accurately ascertain the difference in tone Summer suddenly had; he recognized it, she was a leader too. He crosses his arms, when they speak of discussing such in private, he furrowed his brow; wondering if the whole ‘save the world’ thing was actually a lie. He was subsequently offered the freedom to join the party, along with his teammate, “I agreed to help, without knowing what’s going on; she’s so insightful! She knows her leader so well too,” he nods his head, nicely, once more. He looked to the two new faces he hadn’t seen before, “Since she got her name out in front’a everybody I will too.” He’d give a two fingered salute, “Cade, glorious team leader of (****), also number one first year at Haven. Also… Killer on the dance floor.” He had quite the list of achievements it would seem before looking to Shian, “You take it from here, when we get movin' throw something at me-” He was sincere. He’d walk a little bit away, get on his scroll and start calling peeps; most likely getting up to what he was trying to prior the crazy moment.

Saffron took in the girl who appeared to take control of the whole Jester situation quickly, glad he wasn't arrested on the spot for the honestly attempted murder of the clown. "My apologies for the scene we've caused. I'm Saffron Zephyr. Like the Roses said, our business is best discussed in private away from the potential prying ears of further....Undesirables" he glanced over at the statuesque Jester as he was carted off. "Officer...I don't wish to step on your toes, or tell you how to do your job, but I do have a bit of experience with Jester. He's a bit tricky. He uses explosives regularly, so for the safety of your officers I would recommend making sure you search him thoroughly and keeping his hands chained where you can see them. Updating his file he apparently has with a photo of him outside of his mask couldn't hurt either. In case of a Grimm attacking the transport and he escapes or something."

Saffron walked over to Kyra. "He look, I'm sorry for locking you down like that. It's just...I don't know you and didn't want you to get in the way and wind up hurt" he said simply before walking away. He approached Cade and made the same apology. He gave a half shrug before turning back to the group. "Let's get going to Sky's place and we can get this discussion underway shall we?" The sooner we do, the sooner we can get WSTN off our backs and get out of here.

The last things Jester remembered was a sudden burst of wind tangling his legs. He noticed Saffron come to him. Jester went into his pocket to grab an electric dust bomb to stop the huntsmen. But was only able to activate the timer before Saffron stabbed him in the chest. Then after the poison began going through his body and hit the ground the bomb went off. His whole body got hit with a large burst of electricity. The electricity countered the poison paralyzing effects but it also knocked the elite mercenary out...

When he woke up he was in a small compartment of an airship, prisoner transport ship Jester guest. Jester had been in few before, breaking himself or others out before. If he remembered correctly his things would be in a cabin near the cockpit. He also figured by how the cuffs around his hands felt that they were to counter his semblance, which wouldn't be much help here since it only works on people sleeping. But it did provide him an advantage. He knew how they worked and could cause them to blow. Sure it would take a lot of his aura to block but if he did right he'd take out the door holding him in and any guards who would be outside it.

So Jester went up the door and began fiddling with the cuffs. Once he was at the final stage before it would explode he pressed his hand to the door and triggered it. An explosion went off, taking a great deal of Jester aura but also launching into the two guards outside and knocking them out. Assuming there would be even more guards on the ship Jester quickly left his compartment and grabbed one of now knocked out guards guns. Jester was little disappointed to see they only had handguns with stun ammo but at least that meant the other guard only had stun ammo too. Jester grabbed the second guard gun and emptied the bullets out. This was when some of the other guards came out to see what happen. They quickly saw Jester and yelled "Freeze!" as the aimed their handgun at him.

Jester quickly rolled back into the compartment and began shooting at the guard. The guard went into cover himself. As the guard began to return fire and call for help, Jester took a shoelace from knocked out guard and tied the bullet together. It would take good aim but if threw it at the guard's legs and shot it, would go off and stun them all and give Jester a chance to finish them off. So with this plan in mind Jester threw the tied bullets at the guards once they pause their assault of bullets. Then Jester shot the tied bullets at the guard feet and cause it to explode, stunning the two guards present. Jester them came out of cover the quickly fired at the stun guards, knocking them out.

Jester than ran to the two knocked out guard were and hide behind the halls was corner once he heard the last guard yelling to currently knocked out guards. Once he turned the corner to see what happen for himself he was meant with the rest of the clip of stun bullets Jester had. With the last guard beside the pilot took care of Jester was quick to collect his things. Once he had his equipment back Jester made his way calmly to the cockpit where tossed as ice dust bomb at the pilot's hands, freezing them to the wheel. "Don't worry, the other guard is okay. Knocked out but okay. As long as you can crash land an airship that is" Jester said placing an electric dust bomb on the controls to the ship. "This should go off shortly after I make my leave. I wish you good luck buddy" Jester said patting the now scared pilot on the shoulder. Jester then grabbed his suitcase, duffle bag, and a parachute before making his way to exit of the ship. With the parachute on and tight grip on his things Jester opened the door and jumped out...

"If you would all follow me," Skyler motioned them toward the exit of the Mistral Airship Landing, "I should warn you, my aunt is currently ill so I would have to ask you to not explore the estate. The Guest Wing is separated from the main house so you are free to go crazy there." Skyler led the group to the large elevator that carried everyone slowly to one of the highest levels you can go before reaching the top where Haven is located. As they neared the Estate, she pulled out her scroll and rang up Coral. "Coral, how have you been?... Good, you guys are still at Haven... No, I just think you should meet me at my place, I think we would need your team's help on something... And please tell them to be on their best behavior when they come over. I don't want to bother my family with noise at the moment... Thank you, see you in a bit," Skyler pulled her scroll away from her face before turning to the others and inform, "I just contacted a few friends that would help. They will meet us at my place as soon as they can."

4e9abc506899f0ca8855eafcf1f99762.jpg
The elevator came to a stop. Skyler took up the lead once more as she walked over to a grand building, half sticking out of the side of the Mountain but much more was located deep inside. "Welcome to the Sharp Estate," Skyler called over her shoulder. The front had high windows, and the front doors were painted rich navy blue. From outside one can see much of the front of the house which was more to greet guests. At first glance, rich dark wood, tan tiles, and warm neutral colors filled the interior, giving out a warm homey feeling. Skyler opened the doors to her home where the mixed scent of Citrus, sweet mango, and spring water overtake everyone's senses. A few of the maids stopped what they were doing to bow at her but continued to go about their jobs.

"If you ever need anything, do not hesitate to ask one of the maids or butlers, but if you see them rushing off, do not disturb them. They have places to be, especially during my aunt's illness," Skyler explained, continuing to lead them through the halls. She motioned to several of the open room they walked past but didn't linger far, since they would not be staying at the main house. The deeper they went, the fewer windows one would see. Those that they did, they were artificial lighting to seem like sunlight. "We should be okay in using the office," Skyler announced upon opening the door to a vast library looking room.

716e10dc6e7b9ae6a2ff5a409f112895.jpg
The room was circular in shape, with bookshelves covering the walls, with more artificial lighting windows. There was an upper lever to even more books and windows. Many of the books on the bottom floor looked new and well kept, but if one was to look at them, they would discover the books were older. Every book in this room was well kept and are handled with care. At the top, much older books and scrolls were kept behind glass doors. Most of them kept under lock and key. In the center of the room, a piano sat to the side, as couches sat around the currently lit fireplace. "Please, everyone, make yourselves at home," Skyler motioned to the seats. As everyone moved about the room, she closed the door with a soft click and room a spot by the fireplace as she leaned against the mantel.

"Should we wait for Coral and her team, or would you like to take over?" Skyler offered, looking back and forth between the twins and Saffron. "Oh!" she took a large sigh, remembering something, "Where are my manners, would anyone like something to drink? Tea, coffee, water?" She walked over to a white device beside the door they entered in. She didn't press anything, just held her hand near it as she looked about the group before going ahead to calling up one of the butlers to bring them refreshments.

Saffron followed Skyler back to the estate in contemplative silence. We need to take care of this and fast. The sooner I can get out of Mistral, the sooner I can escape these ghosts. He looked up at the cliff face with a faint smile at the memory of the one and only he had been inside. He rubbed absentmindedly at his shoulder where the scar of the gunshot wound from Larimar was. My first lesson in humility.

Saffron looked around as he was given a proper tour of the place and was once again impressed by what Larimar had built for himself with his technology. After entering the study, he took a spot in the first floor of the room near the piano where he could see the door and everyone else. "Water, please. And if it's all the same, I'd rather wait until Coral and the rest of them get here so we only need to explain it once." For a brief moment, Saffron wished he knew how to play the piano, just so he could occupy himself while he waited for the others to arrive.

Coral Tide and Phillip Whitefall
Coral was hanging out with Phillip as they were getting ready to head out on the town. Since school was out for a bit, they had time on their hands. Normally they would go down to her grandfather’s shack, but they decided to stay at the capital for a change. That only meant they could make a few visits to the lower levels for some fun. Coral, the blonde ottor Faunus was peacefully sitting on Phillip’s shoulder. The sweet looking girl was a complete opposite image to her companion and partner who was four times her size. The pink outfit also clashed against his black leather jacket and the white tee. Even if the tall blond man looked like he could kill you with a single flick of his finger, the excited tone that he talks in killed the image one would have of him.

“Hey, let’s go have some fun below, Cora! I am in the mood to get my blood pumping!” Phillip called out to his best bud on his shoulder.

Coral laughed at his excitement and answered, “Let’s go show everyone who White Tide is all about!”

The duo was just heading to the elevator to get to lower levels below when Coral had Phillip stop as soon as she saw Skyler’s ID on her scroll. Phillip pulled Coral’s hand down to see the screen as well and then look at his partner, arching an eyebrow to her. Shrugging, Coral answered the call.

“Hey, Sky!... I’m doing just fantastic, how about you?... Yeah, we are. I am just about to head below with Phil, do you need something?... It must be important to ask for our help. Let me give Scarlet and Tyrian a call. We should get there as soon as we can… I’ll make sure to keep Tyrian on a short leash. See you later,” Coral hung up the call and quickly made a call to Scarlet and Tyrian.

“Guys, we have been invited to Skyler’s place, but it’s not a fun visit. She needs our input on something, so meet us outside her place,” Coral instructed, hopping off Phillip’s shoulder. She leads Phillip to the elevator, instead of going down, they had to head back up in order to get to Sky’s place. “Do you think she would have good snacks for us? I mean she’s wealthy right?” Phillip asked, excited about the notion of food. Coral giggled at her best friend’s excitement before answering, “I am sure she can get something for you to eat while we are there.” Phillip celebrated about food as they continued to make their way up.

When the incident at the platform was turning a bit sour, Kyra immediately released the safety locks on her motorcycle as one of the side compartments opened, and two folded swords popped out. She grabbed the handle of her Schwert Gewehr when she realized she couldn't move. She watched the events unfold until she was finally released. Seeing as how the situation was resolved, she let go of the sword and looked around the platform to see if things were cleared up. That was when Saffron approached her and said: "He look, I'm sorry for locking you down like that. It's just...I don't know you and didn't want you to get in the way and wind up hurt" Kyra just stared at Saffron blankly, not sure what he was going on about. She was feeling a bit disappointed by the way this Beacon student was conducting himself. She was fine with him apologizing, but the way he did it seemed like he just did not trust her or felt like she was a liability. Plus she couldn't tell him that she was fine since he simply left after that comment. She decided it was best to just look past it and tolerate it for now. On the other hand, the group was finally getting off the platform.

Once they reached the Sharp estate, Kyra parked her bike, and followed Skyler with the rest of the group to the office. When Skyler asked if anyone wanted refreshments, Kyra gave a polite no and walked around the office's isle of books. Carefully reading the titles of them printed on the bindings, until she found one that seemed interesting and pulled it out.
