Ivory was still walking when they started talking about their weapons, she slowed down even more and pulled her second sword out of its sheath. Twirling them like battons in her hands before gripping them by the hilt, "Silent Crows.." She stated, ignoring Ky's rude behavior.

Ivory stopped silently, making very suttle movements, "We're close." She said and started aking slow steps forward, "Grimm." She stated before running off into a pack of Grimm.

Naga was surprised for a second when what felt like a rock gently rammed itself into his foot. A small tinge of uncomfortable cold seeped in for a bit before Naga broke free from the ice that had surrounded his foot. "Don't you know that it's dangerous to expose lizards to cold... (Jackass)"

Naga drew Dragon's Tooth in one clean action and raised it in front of him. "You get to see me in action with Dragon's Tooth." He quickly switched it to rifle form and loaded in his fire rounds. "Fox, let me know if you want cover."

Sable said nothing as the fray ran into them, a horde of Beowulves, Ursa, and the occasional Bullhead (it was a swamp, after all). When the pack's frontrunners got too close, they slipped and fell in the dirt, which suddenly had a lot of friction lifted from it. As they fell all over each other, Sable gave each a quick tap in the head with a bullet.

A Bullhead hopped the low-friction area, and careened into Sable, knocking her into the mud and Semper Fi about a foot away. "Damn it! Ugh!" She wrestled with it, groping for her weapon. Finally, she got a hold on it, knocked the Bullhead off with the sheer size of the weapon, and unloaded into it before it dissolved into ash. She heard a cry behind her, and made a few steps to Ky.

As four Ursa converged around them, emboldened by the lack of a friction shield, she popped out her now-empty magazine and popped in one full of mixed Dust, deciding to take out her frustrations with the dynamics of her team on the Ursa: metal, a burst of blades through a chest. Earth, a massive rockfall. Lightning, a swift crackle through bones. And wind, a hard current that threw her butt-first in the mud. Shit. What the hell else did Wind dust do? Why did she buy it?

Because it was cheap, she remembered as she struggled to replenish her aura before the Ursa pinned her and started slashing. "Hey! A little help here?" she yelled.

"Ah...What the hell," an unfamiliar voice made the fox's eyes shoot wide up. She sat up with a gasp, and accidentally rolled off the bear, to the other side, the body between herself and Cruor. When she hit the ground a quiet,"Oof!" came out of her lungs. She got on her feet and crouched behind the Ursa. With white ears flattened, she slowly peered over the bear's spine, standing on her tippy toes to do so. Her eyes were just above the Ursa and her ears pointed forward toward the stranger on the ground. Big, heterochromic eyes, fluttered their lashes, staring at the mass of a golden aura just lie there.

Shortly after it's death, the Ursa's body began to dissolve into petals and wisps of black, the Grimm normally do. When the body had completely gone, her trident fell to the floor, clinging with the collision. Azure froze, now that her barrier was gone, her social awkwardness kicked in. She looked around for a moment, taking a few steps back. Her hands were tightened into fists infront of her chest, and her tail was pressed against her legs. He didnt seem to be paying any attention, in fact it seemed like he didnt even know she was there,'Perhaps I should take my leave....' she thought.

@Cruor Flumine

Cruor turned after hearing a sound, his hands darting to the swords at either side of him. With a sigh he stopped and composed himself with a smile. He took a tentative step forward, holding out his hand. "Hello...are you alright?" He asked. She seemed either extremely shy or very scared. Either way, he would have to be careful about his actions.

All of a sudden, a bunch of mobsters came out of nowhere. Celia had her gloves on in an instant. She had a Jaw breaker in her hand. "You guys may want to get out of the area....." She said as she snapped her glove on her wrist. "Just go straight..... the lair is there.... I got these guys" She said with a smirk. She had one of her 'special' Jawbreakers that made her a bit psycho. "Things are about to get a bit...... too sweet for you.." She said with a light chuckle as she popped the jawbreaker into her mouth and her eyes sparkled.

Kris had traveled a fair distance through the vast jungle and hadn't made any progress. No signs of fight, nor Grimm. He did however find a path leading through the forest and thought it was the only think that may lead him towards getting that silver chess piece. Kris walked along the path for a while, pay attention to his surrounding. He stopped as a bush ahead of him was rustling. A Beowolf slowly walked out of the bush and stared at him, growling menacingly. Kris grab the hilt of his sword that was strapped to his back, ready for a fight. As he is doing this, another Beowolf comes onto the path behind him. "Well this definitely makes things more interesting..."

Kris pulled at his sword and point it towards the ground, near his side. He didn't make a move and instead waited for them to attack him first. The Beowolf in front of him charged, claws bearing, ready to kill his prey. Kris reacted quickly. He waited until the Beowolf was a few feet away, then he front flipped. The Beowolf lunged at open air while Kris sliced his sword vertically along his back, killing it instantly. The Grimm fell to the ground, lifeless. Kris landed on his feet and immediately reassumed his battle stance ready for his next opponent. Surprisingly, the other Beowolf didn't make a move and simply watched as one of his comrades died. Very strange. The Beowolf started to approach slowly, readying itself to attack. Kris kept his eyes on his opponent the whole time, watch it's movement to try and anticipate it next move. The Beowolf finally reacted and lunged with its body like the first one did. Kris saw this coming a mile away. He moved to the right slightly, swinging his sword upwards. This in turn, cut off the beasts left hand, sending the severed appendage flying, and the Beowolf tumbling to the ground. Kris approached the beast and watched it. The Beowolf was in to much pain to run or to keep fighting. Kris respected such an admiral fight, but he couldn't spare it. Kris stabbed his sword into the beast's chest. He took his sword out and swung it in his hand a little until putting it back into its Scarab. Kris looked back at the two dead corpses for a moment but continued on down the path soon after. He had to make up for lost time.

Naga was ready for the first of the Grimm when they appeared. Beowulf after Beowulf burst into flames as Naga fired round after round of his fire dust bullets. He had simply ignored Ky's comment about him as, A, he was too busy an, B, because he was incredibly annoying. He had taken down a few more Grimm when he heard Sable calling for help. Ursa were surrounding them and Ky was prone on the ground, trying to reset his ankle. "Sometimes, I wonder why I am looking for you Draco." Naga mumbled as he switch Dragon's Tooth back into sword form and swung it back into its sheath.

Naga could see that Sable was doing incredibly well against the Ursa, but he knew that if the Grimm were going to keep coming, they were sure to break and crumble. "Sable, try to hold them off for a bit. I'm helping the fox." Naga yelled as he stood up and rushed over to the prone Ky. Just as an Ursa was about to rush Ky, Naga's hands came up and the green and scaled design of Naga's semblance formed in front of him and Ky, shattering upon the impact of the Ursa's charge but stopping it dead in its tracks. "You owe me one, little fox." Naga said as he drew Dragon's Tooth, ready to face the Ursa. "I accept coffee as a repayment." Naga smugly continued as he parried the next few strike from the Ursa.

Ivory stood at the foot of the hoard, not particularly moving, just observing. Observing the Grimm, her other team mates had charged in which riled the packs of Grimm. She stood there a moment more, Silent Crows in hand when some Grimm started to come towards her. She raised one of her swords and kept the other behind her, before she swung. Each step, movement or jesture meant to do as it did. It was like dancing, the way she moved.

Ivory stopped suddenly as she watched her team mates tumble out of the main herd of Grimm one after another. She mad a path for herself with a short range bomb, since all the Grimm were close together shw could take out a fair ammount of them. She walked over to Naga and nodded to him, "Go help Sable while I patch this one up." She said nodding to Ky, not making eye contact with either of them. Ivory swung her sword back into its sheath on her back before her hand grazed her satchel to get out her med kit.

As a 'Demonstration' of his beautiful weapons, he grabbed both of his handguns, and popped out the mags about an inch, to make sure that they were ice mags. He popped them back in, and turned around, shooting @Deltorian Nephran in the foot. There was no pain, just extreme cold, a extra 5 or 10 pounds on his foot, and a big chunk of ice that ruptured his ability to walk. He put the guns away, "Team bonding. Yeah right." He said mockingly, as he began to pet his tail again. @Mollisol @Syrina
(@Wolfy21 Mother, I tagged you in this for multiple reasons. 1) To show you RWBY Doesn't suck. 2) To show you what a standard post looks like. 3) Because I know it will annoy you. )
Screeeeew you. And I didn't mind the plot for RWBY,,, I just didn't like the art. Not my style.

"Th-Thanks, Gecko." Ky said, with a chuckle. He would never turn down the opportunity to insult someone, joke or not. He saw Ivory coming over to him, and smiled a bit, "You the team's resident nurse now?" He asked, with a small chuckle. Of course he appreciated all the help he was getting, but he'd rather not go head over heels to thank them. He was known for being an ass, and he planned on keeping the title

Ky gripped his handguns, and watched Naga defend them. He shot an ice round on the Ursa's head, before launching a fire round at the sam place, killing the Ursa. "Gecko, go help the others." He said, with a nice smile. He kept doing his best to defend him and Ivory, shooting over her head.

Selik loped over to the group and was about to start interrogating them for some information when a few dapper looking men with gruff faces began to come out of the woodwork, then a few more, and then a lot more. They carried long knives, short machetes and hand guns for the most part, showing off their weapons threateningly as they began to loosely surround Selik and his new found comrades.

Selik slowly brought his free hand over his shoulder and took up the shiny, metallic buckler from his back and getting squared up with a couple of approaching gangsters when one of the girls started snapping on a pair of gloves and telling them to leave.

"Are you nuts?" he shot out, half in amusement and half in disbelief. Anyone that would want to take a small army on single-handedly was either a macho asshole or really into their death wish. That was her choice though.

"If you die before I get your name, i'm going to feel like a really shitty teammate.. So don't!" Selik told her sternly before following after the only other guy on their team towards the lair the very-likely-to-be-crazy girl had pointed out moments before.

Selik charged forward, ahead of the blue-haired guy, as a number of mobsters tried to close them in. One on the left came down hard with a shortened machete but Selik brought up his small shield and turned it away as another gangster stabbed at his gut with a switchblade. Selik managed to catch it with the crook of his ax and pull it aside before the point found it's mark. He span driving the edge of his shield into the second attacker's shoulder while slamming the butt of his ax into the machete wielder's face. A gap opened that Selik shouldered through with all his force, knocking one of the men off their feet.

"C'mon! Don't leave me with all the fun!" He shouted back with a sour look on his face.

Ellie worked the newly formed tangles from her hair, pulling the odd twig out and discarding out into the surrounding brush as she wandered between sturdy looking spruce trees growing in crooked and winding angles. Once satisfied her raven-hued locks were free of anymore forest debris she began to adjust the clasps situated over her wrists on the dull, metallic gauntlets she wore while beginning to wander aimlessly through the swampy woods. The moss-ridden floor sucked at her feet lightly with a flat, squish where she stepped but it was deathly quiet otherwise.

The still quiet was broken by the hissing of a scentless gas spraying out of a short barrel on Ellie's left wrist guard when she flicked her hand back to hit the trigger, then she cocked back her right and the igniter gave a sharp click before a small flame poked out of a slightly longer barrel than before. After that brief weapons check she felt ready for some warfare, though she had no idea where in the marshlands she was at this point so she continued to wander in as straight a line as the fauna would allow.

Before too long the ground began to grow more solid and the trees a little fatter, with an ever growing variety of ferns and shrubbery popping up along the wayside. Ellie was picking up the faint sound of metal crashing, her one of her crimson fox ears twitching to the beat before it suddenly ceased as she came across a worn dirt path fighting against the wild grass to mark a way through the dense woodland. To the left it winded wide to the right but the sounds she heard came from the right side and that path went as straight as an arrow so she allowed her curiosity to win out and followed the right path, for a few minutes there was little and less to be seen, not even finches or chickadees were singing their delightful tunes from the trees. It unnerved Ellie more than she would like to admit, she kept her fists at the half-ready just in case some Grimm had her in their sights.

Ellie saw the Grimm first though, taking a pause to see the damage. One Beowulf was little more than a snout and a displaced arm that had by now almost dissolved into nothing while the other was still mostly whole aside from a missing arm but it to was almost completely gone. She figured that whoever was here before had been fairly skilled, definitely not Selik or he'd still be here taking a break and given that the Grimm were still here they couldn't have put too much distance between them.

The dark-haired Faunus figured they would make as good a partner as she could hope, and with a little luck they would be familiar enough with the area that they could get this over with nice and quick. With that in mind Ellie stepped over the former battle-ground and began to jog down the path with some new found fervor, still wary of the brush pressing in on the sides. All of them hiding places and ambush points for the enemy.

Naga's battle with the Ursa soon ended with the Ursa greatly misjudging his stamina and defensive skill. A few swift blows and the Ursa collapse on the ground. "Understood, wolf." Naga then shifted Dragon's Tooth into a rifle and quickly finished off the last few of the Ursa with the entirety of his magazine.

Rushing back to Sable, Naga was sure that fighting them any longer would not be healthy. "Do we even have the piece? I know that there was a chess piece or something. Let's just get the thing and go! We won't make it if the Grimm keep coming." Naga switched Dragon's Tooth back to his longsword and with a deep breath, stood ready with Sable.

"I said..... Get..... Going!!!!" She yelled as her hair flew up with a burst of wind, Her jawbreaker had gone past the first layer and she was covered in a pink flame like aura. She rushed the mobster in front of her and punched hi straight in the gut. Her gloves were not even metal yet but she sent the mobster flying through a wall and took a few other out with the flying mobster. She stood straight up and her gloves transformed into large metal gloves "I got this.... now go before I get to layer two...." She said with a grin as she rushed the oncoming mobsters head on.

It was a simple duty, or so it seemed to be as Mardi closed in on the lair alongside her team with all the bodies of mobsters and conscript criminals cut down mercilessly in their wake. A pang of human sympathy extended to the families of those she and the rest of Shamrock had only just decimated... But.. these men and women knew exactly what they were getting into just by participating in such criminal activity. But whether or not they actually deserved compassion, that was hard to say. A question she thought she would never understand fully.

"...This is no time for morality checks.." The android muttered to herself, her tone as flat as always. The metallic heels of the Monvoisin clicked against the concrete as she walked between Celia and Selik, leaving Aqua to watch the team's back as they descended into the den of Mistral's toxic side. Mardi's fingers tightened around grips of Monvoisin while they carried themselves in deeper and deeper into the disgusting pit of villainy.

Selik took charge and aimed to interrogate the man in the center of the lair, to end this mission with haste. She could admire his tenacity, his drive. The whole team was admirable in their own respects, however. The pink-haired girl's fury ignited brightest and she seemed to be the strongest on the team; As far as humans go at least, as Mardi's hydraulic skeleton had most organic life beat out in strength. ...Even the blue boy had some good qualities! Like.. his knack for blushing and not saying much. That was respectable in some cultures.

As Selik advanced, the team's fate became set in stone. It was an ambush! Gangsters came out of the woodwork by the tens, then by the twenties, advancing even to thirty at a time. A grim atmosphere hushed even the most lighthearted member of the time, albeit briefly, and Mardi's own robotic demeanor grew foul with stress. "You guys may want to get out of the area." The pink-haired child commanded, snapping her glove securely on her wrist. "Just go straight! The lair is there! I got these guys!" A brave idea on the short girl's part, but an absolutely foolish one as well. ..Such foolishness, Mardi could not allow at all for a fleshy, organic being like her. She decided to stand and fight alongside the foolishly brave teen.

Accessing her prime combat data protocol, the android's arm extended immovably firm as she aimed her handgun true. Her other arm circled the space of the barrel, a purple light flowing from her finger tips as she drew a perfect, mysterious sigil in the air... Bang! She ripped the trigger back and fired through the sigil, the bullet of pure light disappearing at the speed of sound and reappearing as the deceased bodies of three consecutive foes and a testament to Mardi's inhuman aim. "Beware, Cotton Candy girl." Mardi flatly warned Celia as she shot at another gangster in the front line, destroying his cranium with a well-placed bullet like his friends. "Grandstanding a fight like this is a bad idea, with ninety-nine percent pointing to your demise. We are a team. You would care to remember so."

"I personally like those odds..."She said as she reached layer 2. The hell layer as she called it. Her eyes went wide as they change from dark purple to light pink. She now hitting harder than a rhino charging. She punched on man and ended up breaking a building in the punches wake. "Lets do this!!!" She yelled with a laugh as she charged straight through the enemy lines

Kris had walked down that path for about a quarter of a mile. It had been about 5 or 6 minutes since his first encounter with the Grimm and he was getting bored. He stopped paying attention to his surroundings and stared at the sky a little. Feeling the the sun absorb into his skin felt nice. He looked at the clouds, noticing that one appeared oddly like a Grimm. A snap resonated behind him and he whipped around, whipping out his sword. "Who's there?" He called into the trees, scanning them for an intruder. He hoped it was a another Grimm; maybe then his boredom would ease. A figure stepped onto the road, then began to make its way toward him, the dirt crunching beneath his feet; and Kris strained to see who was there So far ahead of him. His eyes adjusted and saw a dark-haired Faunus coming down the path towards him. Kris lowered his sword and slide it back behind his back as the Faunus kept running towards him. Once she was in ear shot, Kris responded. "Glad to see someone that isn't trying to kill me." Kris leaned against an Oak Tree on the side of the path, waiting for a response.

"Naga's right. They're not going to stop coming. We've got to get through this horde," Sable said as she stood up. Canvassing the area and judging from the odd slope of the nearby hill and the marshy area surrounding it, she guessed the water temple was in that hill. She whipped out the chess piece, brandished it at her teammates to show she had it, and put it away again before she put her hand back on Semper Fi and formulated a plan.

"Everyone look," she said, with the knowledge that she couldn't talk for too long without the Grimm closing in again. "We need to go that way, where the water temple is. As soon as we get through the door, we can plan our next move. But we've got to get there as fast as possible, with as little Aura loss as we can, so don't worry about taking all of these down. Just get there." With that, she glanced around at her team for confirmation and made a mad dash for the hill. Two Ursa lumbered over to hit her. She slid under them, and as she approached a pack of Beowulves, unfolded Semper Fi, and swept them as far away as she could. She rolled, and could see the horde thinning as she got closer to the marshland. "I'll be on the fringes to thin them out! Keep going!"

Cruor, even in the dim lit caves, could see the milkiness to her eyes. 'Blind.' He thought. It wouldn't be the first time he had encountered such a fate in someone. However if that dead Ursa was anything to go by, she could defend herself. But that wouldnt mean that he wouldn't protect her, right? After all, the two were teammates now. He watched as the unnamed girl picked up her weapon and morphed it twice before holstering it in pistol form. Cruor watched her tail swish back and forth before following her closely. He could practically feel the nervousness coming off of her. He didn't know exactly what she was nervous for, but he figured it wasn't good. "So," He began. "What's your name?" He asked. She already seemed hesitant enough to be around him, might as well try to loosen her up a bit.

Selik side stepped a fresh faced gangster's bat swing then kicked one the youth's legs out, dropping him to the dingy street with a resounding thud. Another mobster came forward with a small sub-machine fun raised, fury burning in his glare while firing a chaotic burst in Selik's direction. A couple bullets slammed into the raven-haired warrior's chest and shoulder deflecting off his aura before he could get his buckler up. The shield absorbed most of the steel rain like an umbrella that vibrated violently against his arm, the odd projectile strayed off but none found their target from there.

Selik began to curse under his breath while he pushed forward against the storm, his ax lowered now.

Then the gun-toting gangster started firing wide to his left, almost avoiding Selik now as he tried to blow away Aqua who rushed passed his teammate into the jaws of the gunfire.

Suddenly a tremendous crash resounded through the area, reverberate through Selik's chest, he span to see little miss candy crush slamming another criminal through a concrete wall, the building shuddered against the sheer force before collapsing in a couple areas. His gaze shifted over to the red-head standing confidently with a handgun while a number of mobsters tumbled through that air before her. Selik had never even noticed the gun fire. It was almost awe inspiring to see how much raw power was at their disposal.

A subtle breeze rolled through the limbs of the forest as Ellie's feet crunched over the woodland floor in a hurried rhythm. Before long the trees broke and opened up to a fair sized clearing with a lofty guy leaned up against an oak tree. He was just sliding a sword into a scabbard on his back when she noticed him, she wondered just how long he had her in his sights.

Ellie slowed down to a gentle lope when she felt she had gotten with earshot, wanting to feel out her new teammate before calling him a comrade.

"Yeah, I noticed your handiwork back down the path.. I'm Ellen, everyone calls me Ellie though," she called back to him on her approach.

"You seem strong but you better not be some egotistical fool, I expect you to stay alive for as long as we are teamed up! Got it?" Ellie said a little softer once they were within a few meters of each other where she stopped.
