Void Walk: allows Taji to move through a shadow realm for a short period of time, which seems to have her teleport. Useful for throwing off engines and ambushes. However, powerful and elder grim can sense her as she moved through this shadow realm, limiting the use she has of it while fighting them.

Personality:
Taji is a rather closed off person. Which is understandable because of the hardships her kind has to face. She isn't very trusting because she's been betrayed and hurt to many times, and is very secretive when it comes to her past. So, she's quiet and very private, but, She can be a very kind and caring person as well. She's loyal, strong, and while intimidating, Taji is an amazing friend. She's sometimes quick to anger, and is very blunt which can turn people away from her. Taji.aslo isn't the greatest at dealing with her emotions and such, wanting to keep them bottled up so she doesn't bother anyone. Someone should probably give her a hug.
Backstory:
So, from the little we know about Miss Taji Ming is that she started life outside Atlas. Her village was destroyed by grim, and she was adopted by a Hundreds who lived in Atlas. She excelled in her studies, despite the fact she we bullied everyday. It hot to a point where her adoptive mother asked for a transfer to Vale. Once there, Taji begged to go to Signal, where there she also excelled, still being bullied, before getting into Beacon. And if you wanted to know what happened to her arms...you'll just have to wait and find out. I'll just say, it wasn't when she was young.
Flaws:
People always ask about her arms. Just, can you not?
Her Semblance is rather off putting. I mean, it's creepy and it scares people.

Semblance: Time manipulation- his semblance allows him to perceive everything at a significantly slower pace than normally, however whenever he uses the semblance more than once a day, he becomes increasingly strained. from his body feeling aflame as if he'd run a marathon to blurring vision, the possibilities for it to bite him in the ass are endless, which often keeps him from using it more than once.
Weapon: Inspired by the legendary weapon from Greek mythology, owned by king of the Olympians. Jay's weapon is a shield, same size as an average shield but lightweight for throwing. it doesn't have a secondary transformation, but it's designed to utilize wind dust, allowing it to hit multiple enemies and practically defy gravity for a limited time. not as far as flying or gliding, but more than any normal shield should be able to do (think captain America). It's adopted the name from it's inspiration the "Aegis"

Personality: Jay tends to come off as self confident or arrogant but he's usually faking it. he's extremely insecure about the world around him and will often make light of it in a joking manner. He can often come of as an asshole for joking about someone else's misfortunes as well, but he doesn't understand why they wouldn't rather make light of it like him. He's a good guy and if earn his loyalty, he'd take a bullet for you, which is problematic since he easily trusts
Backstory*: Jay was born to a single father who made money by selling weapon designs. At a young age, little Jay quickly fell in love with the idea of hunters and huntresses but he was met with opposition by his father who was convinced it was not for him. "We're all we have..." he would tell his son "Gotta stick together". Despite his father's wishes though he would train with a group of older kids who taught him how to handle himself in a fight and how to keep his head. On the flip side, he deceived his father into believing he was interested in his work which satisfied him. However Jay only did it to learn all he could about how to make weapons. After a few years of hella-tons of studying, sparring, lying, and determination he was finally given a chance to join shade acadamy. when his father found out what he'd been doing, he was heart broken more than angry and was disappointed that his own son had broken his trust. but it's what Jay wanted to do in life, right? after a few months, Jay was transferred to beacon after getting in continuous conflicts with his peers involving loyalty and trust. Karma's a bitch
Flaws: When Jay's trust is broken his morale takes a lethal blow, He would gladly lose a limb for someone he's put his trust in, and Jay lacks alot of combat knowledge and experience. apart from what he's learned in shade academy, everything he knows is rather... unprofessional.
