RP

Okay. I've decided to go ahead and start the RP. Anyone who hasn't made a character form will have to join in later.

Start:

A large, magnificent ship floated in the water, docked in the Florida ocean, waiting for the students from all over the world to board it.

Among those students, stood Cleo Williamson with her older sisters, and younger brother. Her sisters, having already been to LPA before, didn't seem too nervous for the first day, but Cleo and her brother felt anxious to be attending the magical school.

Keto and Kaine stood a little ways back from the sisters and brother, Kaine was looking about he was rambling on to Keto about how he couldn't wait for the new year to start. Keto looked down at Kaine with a bit of an annoyed look then spoke up, his deep voice could be heard from a short distance "Brother, calm yourself. It's school." he shook his head leading back at the ship. Kaine sighed a little looking down "Sorry brother, I just tend to get excited."

The sky was a milky grey, with a slight breeze weaving through the atmosphere. The docks were crowded, filled with the strangest looking creatures in the universe. You could see a few mythical creatures here, hybrids of all kinds over there, and let's not forget the witches and mages. There was one particular boy, who looked like any other normal human being. Dark blonde hair with light tips, bold frame and murky blue eyes; it seemed nothing was unique about him.

His name was Tobias Genesi, and he was a genie.

Tobias glanced down at his golden wrist bands, which were engraved with swirling, beautiful designs. He was cursed with these bands. He had no free will, and ultimately, no control over his powers. Those are controlled by his wisher. It was Tobias's first time in LPA, and on Earth, even though he had studied much about the planet and it's workings.

Tobias picked up both suitcases, things humans used to carry possessions. He started to follow everyone to the ship, catching an exchange between what seemed two brothers. The younger one was excited for the new school year, while the older, much mature one, had told him to quiet down.

Tobias smiled wearily to himself, thinking of his own opinion of the new school year. What he hoped, was that no one would abuse his powers, like other kids did when he went to other academies back in the supernatural world. Tobias tried to flit away the memories of being bullied and pushed around in three schools he's been in. Every time he's entered a new school, with high hopes, they've always been crushed down all over again.

Tobias hoped this would be it. Maybe here, he would be accepted, and not abused for his powers.

Cleo looked around at her surroundings, watching all the different types of students. Out of the many students, she spotted a blonde guy with golden wristlets on.

"Wonder what those are about?" She muttered a loud, gaining a look from her siblings. "Oh. Nothing."

She stared down at her purple luggage, her copper hair blowing about her face.

"What a great load of rot."

Caterina said, tearing the dandelion petals to bits as her and her older sister waited, already on the ship. "And what a rot of Garrett, telling Evie a story like that, didn't he know it'd scare the tonsils out of her?"

"It's only partly true, he got most of it wrong. It's only a story."

"I know why the school was created. Evie didn't."

"She's seven, she won't remember it." Her sister retorted, irritated. More focused on the people getting on.

Caterina ignored this, deciding to drop the topic. She grinned wryly, watching Bethany scan the crowds for her boyfriend. "Can't go one minute without your boyfriends tongue in your mouth?" Cat asked wryly, a spark in her coffee brown eyes.

Bethany scowled, giving Caterina a playful nudge with her elbow. "Shut up." she said trying to keep a straight face.

"He's like a magnet, one that doesn't go away. Ever." Caterina said in a flat voice, Bethany tried to hold back her giggles but couldn't, and her quiet giggles escaped her lips, Cat snickered, and they stared out at the water, continuing there chatter.

Tobias kept on bumping into everyone, trying to manage his suitcases. They were heavy and weirdly shaped, not at all like back at home, where he could just make the things he needed, appear. At least, he could before the golden bands, that is. When he bumped into creatures, he tried to remember to always excuse yourself, even though it seemed so unnatural. In his home-world, there weren't really any said 'manners'. However, it seemed manners were a huge thing here on Earth.

Tobias noticed a copper-haired girl's stare from afar, looking straight at him, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Of course, his wristbands weren't any ordinary bands. They were indestructible, impenetrable, and were especially alluring, able to catch any creature's eye. So no wonder it caught hers.

Tobias looked away, almost in shame, and continued his trek, getting to the ship as quickly as possible, with the lowest number of accidents as possible. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side, as he lost his footing and collided with another person as he boarded the ship; a girl with sharp chocolate-brown eyes and coffee-coloured locks, making her fall to the ground. He didn't excuse himself however, and just  stared at the girl for a few moments, as if waiting for  her to get herself up.

Caterina snorted and rolled her eyes as Bethany found her boyfriend boarding the ship and flew into his arms, instantly locking into yet another make out session, sloppily smashing each other's faces together.

Caterina turned back towards the water, leaning over the side of the ship, resting on her arms and looking down at the dark abyss, the waves rocking the ship. Caterina released a long, abrupt sigh, as if torn from the depths of her soul.

Caterina was snapped from her thoughts as something slammed into her from her side, knocking her over, and she ended up getting shoved to the floor banging her head against the floorboard and scrapping her elbow  on the wooden side of the ship.

"Ow." Caterina said in a flat voice, laying there for a lengthy moment. "Why you rotten-great son of-" Cat began sitting up to face whoever had pursued her over, her eyes flaring angrily, but was cut off.

"Ack!" Bethany cried, shaking her head and running over to Caterina, wanting to instantly silence her. "He didn't mean it! He didn't mean it Caterina." Bethany said quickly, helping her sister up, grabbing her by the harm and yanking her up, not wanting Caterina to start yet another fight.

Caterina shot her sister a glare. Bethany was always trying to throw guys on her, attractive but stupid, just like her own boyfriend. Bethany threw her sister look that said 'Would you just play it nice?' Caterina pressed her lips together, to keep herself from hurling any insults at the man, not even taking notice of the cuffs on his wrist.

Bethany slowly walked away, throwing her sister another look before joining her boyfriend at her side once more. Caterina looked down at the him, taking notice of his appearance with deep eyes and a muscular build. Cat looked at him, fixing him with a brown-eyes glare. Bethany sighed in the distance.

Tobias met the fiery-spirited girl's piercing glare with one of his own, wondering if she was a threat or not. Such looks, back at home, meant instantly that the other person wanted to fight. He had plenty of those back in those other academies.  He knew he couldn't do much; his powers were severely restricted, and he was sure just hitting her straight wouldn't work either. Earth had something against hitting girls, he remembered, so he stayed put in his place.

At t the sigh, Tobias glanced at who seemed to be her sister, farther away, next to another boy. Tobias averted his gaze, looking at the girl with sharp brown eyes again.

"Is that a challenge?" he asked quietly, but quite menacingly. Tobias knew it would be foolish to start a fight, but the genie wanted end all tensions before they could hurt him in the future. If he didn't handle them now, they will come back haunting him back later.

 Athena Lilly Greenwood

Athena groggily boarded the boat, jet lagged from her flight to Florida. Scotland was a long way away, and even after 3 years of this, she was no more used to travelling long distances, although she was more used to the whole process. Unlike many other students, she was alone, no siblings to speak of, although she couldn't say she wanted any. She folded a strand of hair behind her ear, her long hair no longer covering their pointed ends. She did look a bit more unusual than the other students, green hair, green eyes, ombre green to white dress and pointed ears, and she hoped that no one would call her out for her odd appearance, like had happened in her first year. Although not an inherently bad experience, it had unnerved her a little, especially being fresh off a plane, the first one she had ever been in.

She ended up standing next to a guy with golden bands on his wrists, but she payed them no mind. He already seemed to be getting into some trouble, and Athena was worried that she hadn't chosen the best place to stand. Although it wasn't like she had any friends to stand with, they had all left last term. Still, at least it would be an interesting journey.

(She has a really strong British (posh) accent, with a hint of a Scottish accent)

Caterina smiled, a genuine smile that was clearly faked. "Not unless you want it to be." Caterina retorted in a sweet voice through gritted teeth, a bulgarian accent strong in her speech. She glared daggers at Tobias, leaning against the side of the ship, both hands on the railing behind her, her hands began to freeze the wood, tiny, crystalline icicles forming underneath her palms and spreading, a small threat to Tobias, never one to refuse a challenge.

((Sorry it sucks, I'm in class))

My wants and needs don't matter, thought Tobias bitterly, thinking of his lost free will and enslavement to the wisher.

Fists knotted, he watched as the girl leaned against the railing behind her, her fake smile and piercing glare unnerving Tobias. If this was his home-world, he would've given the first punch. But this was Earth. Glares were interpreted differently here, and it was hard to get used to. Tobias sensed someone near him, another girl, who was watching the entire scene unfold. Tobias knew this wasn't the best first impression, and it wasn't a good thing. Tobias's eyes narrowed as the railing turned white with ice, tiny crystals rising from the wood, sharp and deadly, despite their size. It was evident she was a manipulator of ice, with a strange accent the genie had never heard before. Tobias clenched his jaw, feeling his blood boil with limitless power, transferring to the palms of his hands. If he was going to go through with this, he was going to fight fire with ice. He recalled the rules of the wristbands:

He wasn't allowed to harm the wisher in any way and he wasn't allowed to disobey, or go against the wisher. There were more, but those were the main two. He had been living with these rules for two years now. Some of the wishers he has had were abusive people, bullies, who forced him to make him do things he hated to do, but he could do nothing about it. He lived by the rules, and ultimately had no free will. He was at the mercy of the wisher. Such a cruel existence.

But this girl wasn't his wisher, nor did she know that he was a genie. In fact, she had no idea she could easily win this over with a simple, 'I wish'. And Tobias wasn't about to let her find out.

Fire appeared in his hands, his blue eyes alight with hostility, ready.

(Are they really going to fight? @Ms. Sparrow I'm up for it if you are, but if not, maybe @FrostFire or @PrincessKarai8 can step in and break it up.)

((You read my mind lol))

Cleo foolishly jumped between the two, too caught up in the moment to remember she didn't have any powers yet.

Her sisters rushed over too, Brigette, being the pyroknetic and hot head she was, wanted to join the fight. The other sister, Penelope, however wanted to break it up.

Spotting Cleo jump between the two quarreling teenagers, they surrounded her in protective stances.

"Now, come on guys. We haven't even left for the school yet." Penny stated calmly, her electric blue eyes flashing with worry.

"Could you show me that ice magic?" Cleo asked boldly, stepping away from her sister's and towards the brunette before them. Then spinning towards the blonde guy, she asked, "And could you show me some more of that fire?"

Owen, the youngest and only make Williamson sibling, stood off to the side, watching the scene unfold. He then spots the green haired girl, intrigued by her appearance.

((I'll make a form for the sisters very soon. One for the brother as well))

Alexander Masters

Alex, currently wearing a sleeveless black/dark red hoodie with a dark red muscle shirt showing one of his favorite bands on the front, along with dark grey slacks and nice black shoes, carrying his luggage on board the ship and looking around with a bored look on his rather handsome face "Well...here we go.." He mumbled "Once in a lifetime experience underway" He shrugged slinging the backpack onto his shoulder and carrying the rather large roll away suitcase as he looks around.

a few minutes later he comes upon a rather tense moment between what he thinks to be students "Uh...did I come around at a wrong time, I mean you people want to fight do it somewhere else that wouldn't probably destroy the ship" He shakes his head pulling out his earbuds and putting them in then putting on the hood of his hoodie as he finds somewhere to sit down and relax.

(Not sure if it's any good but hey it looked decent haha)

Poppy had gotten to school a little early that day, and had ended up checking and rechecking her favorite hiding spots. They had all remained untouched, their supplies the same as how she left them. She had made these spaces to be her and her friends hideouts, only accessible with her certain type of power. Not a lot of people had it, so they were generally safe.

Plus, she had some bomb make out sessions in them before.

Poppy was looking forward to the coming year, the new people that she could meet and old friends she could find again.

Poppy woke up from her daydream to find herself in the larger hideout, a couch against the dusty wall and a perma-light floating around the room. A gift, from one of the light witches that she befriended last year.

The blonde sat up, the couch groaning underneath her. She yawned, stretching her arms and slowly standing up. People would be arriving soon. Poppy figured she could go introdcue herself to them, as it was the least she could do.

Poppy walked towards walk right of the couch, knowing that on the other side, one of the many hallways of the academy would lay. As she approached it, the mage swiped her hand, the wall almost dissapearing in front of her. Though it was still there, to Poppy, it appeared as almost an archway. The wall had become see through, and the colors of the hallway swirled like reflections in unsteady water. Poppy walked through, a wave of power pressing through her. She had gotten used to the feeling, as she used her ability so much already.

Stepping ou into the hallway, she didn't see anyone at the moment. She decided to go to the courtyard, where most of the people would be hanging around.

((None of the students have arrived yet. The boat hasn't even left that takes them to the school. It's the only.thing that can transport them there))

It was something to look forward to. The ship ride to the Academy was normally a time for the students to get introductions out of the way while floating above water in a hunk of metal. To Poppy, it was one of the most important parts of the year, seeing as the students were all in close quarters with each other for an extended period of time. And it wasn't even voluntarily!

Poppy stood from her observation deck on the top of the ship, the sea mist making the metal almost too slippery to walk on. Almost the key word, seeing as Poppy would do anything if she had a chance of succeeding, no matter how small.

After hopping off, the blonde found her way to a crowd of people. She heard the shouts from far away, already sensing tension within a group of near-strangers. She looked around the corner with her curious blue eyes, watching as it was quickly resolved. She stepped forward in silence, forgetting to introduce herself as she normally did with strangers. Poppy just stood there with a silly grin on her face, before realizing her mistake.

"An I interrupting something here?" she asked, stepping forward once more and pushing her hair behind her ears.

Glancing over to the newcomer even with his earbuds in since he hasn't turned on his music yet he could hear her speak, Alex decided to speak up "Hello there" he said as he lounged on a relaxing chair facing the group and the newcomer.

"Seems what is going on is a misunderstanding between two seemingly hostile personalities" he says nodding to his thoughts then grins.

"Anyway, How about we all relax and introduce ourselves to each other, since I'm cool and all, I will start off...My name is Alexander or just Alex for short, it's a pleasure to meet everyone." He smiles a rather handsome smile at the group then chuckles softly "I like long walks on the beach during sunsets, listening to some good music, sparring and partying" he grins "alright, next!"

~Tobias Genesi~

Suddenly, it seemed the tension that Tobias and the ice witch had sparked off, had attracted some unwanted attention, though Tobias was expecting as such. The same girl who had given him a strange look afar, the one with coppery locks, took a stand in the middle of the quarreling teenagers, her sisters joining her. One sister had hostility in her eyes, ready to leap into action, while another was calm and collected, a peacemaker by the looks of it. The one with coppery hair, Cleo, was splat in the middle of it all, turning to the ice witch first, asking of her powers, before turning to him, asking nearly the same thing, as if she had no significant abilities herself.

Before he could answer however, another girl, a blonde, entered the scene, her blue eyes wide with mischief, a grin plastered to her face. Tobias looked around, confused. Why were all these people interrupting? Did they want a piece of the action too? Back in his home-world, when a challenge was about to be set off, every creature was obliged to step aside and not engage. It was custom, and was considered very taboo if someone actually did interfere with another person's own fight, even if it were a friend. A fight was a fight, there were no interruptions.

"Yes, you ar--" answered Tobias, his tone harsh, before being cut off by someone else, someone lounging on a deck chair.

Tobias turned around to see a boy with brown hair and two different coloured eyes, grinning like a fool. He rattled on with his name and interests, not forgetting to state what was really going on between the genie and the ice witch. Tobias gave him a condescending and bewildered look, not sure what was going on.

Despite the classes having not started yet, Tobias learned his very first lesson on Earth:

This place was confusing as hell, and if he didn't catch on and get used to it, it will be a very hard year.

Caterina looked ready to attack Tobias when a girl with copper hair stepped in the middle of them, quickly accompanied by more, willing to protect her. The copper-haired girl then proceeded to idiotically ask her how to use ice magic, then the rotter that had pushed her over and made her fall.

Caterina let out an irritated, angry sigh at not being able to take a swing at The Rotter, but did not pursue. Then someone else stepped in, suggesting they not destroy the ship. Caterina opened her mouth to sharply retort something back, before more people stepped in and interrupted her.

Cat couldn't take it any longer. In the blink of an eye, Caterina was gone from the scene, teleporting away from the group to the back of the ship, where Bethany was, the two siblings instantly began to get in a small, quiet quarrel.

Athena silently watched everything unfold, glad she hadn't had to separate the two. She wasn't exactly loud, so she probably would've been ignored and stuck in the middle. As she watched, she noticed that the gold banged guy became more and more confused, and Athena suddenly had a brain wave. He didn't look like he'd been around humans much, just like her. Even if her mother was human, both of them were fully integrated into the Elven way of living, and Athena as much more accustomed to her father's customs, so her first trip was pretty confusing too.

Stepping over to him, Athena tapped him on the shoulder. "Is this your first time around humans?", her soft voice much quieter than the voices of the others, her strong accent obvious as she spoke. She wanted to get away from the rapidly developing crowd around her, but considering she was on a ship full of people, it would be difficult to get any solitude. She was worried that she was already a little overwhelmed, although she was out of practice after a long holiday relaxing with her parents, away from people.

@Esther_Silvers

Penny sighed, running a hand through her dark auburn hair.

"We all should just go find somewhere to relax during the duration of the trip. The boat will be leaving port soon." She spoke in a calm tone.

Cleo just nodded, starting to walk away, but stopped and looked to Alex.

"I'm Cleo. I hope to get to speak with you again soon." With that, she turned on her heel and went down below deck.
