Other RP Interest Check...Little Interest

OK, so I posted an interest check for a RP Reboot. I've gotten 1.5 bites. (The .5 for one person who said they probably wouldn't be able to do it due to the amount of RPs that they're in.) My question is this: How long would you wait on a RP interest check??

There's no set time. You just have to take more responsibility as the gm and keep in touch with the participants and potentials players. You might even need to scale down and do a 1 x 1 if you really wanted to do something on the topic that you made.

Depends on how much interest the check actually gives out.
Also depends on the people in it, some people really don't even stay around for the start of the roleplay or the creator doesn't even start the roleplay.

I've decided to let it die. I'll try again months down the road.

I think this depends on a few factors

1. how prepared are you to start and run the roleplay.
2. how many spots do you want to fill before starting ( just a few spots , all of them , etc. )

How long would you wait on a RP interest check??

Up to two weeks, then I just go ahead with whoever I have.

I've gotten pretty picky what I'll invest time and resources in and have reached a point that group RPs are guaranteed failures anymore.

That leaves 1v1s and my preferences are very niche. Good luck on your endeavors.
