Welcome to Rockford!
Dear student,Please allow us to congratulate you again and extend a warm welcome to the Rockford University family!
We have approved your application for the dormitory, and we'd like to remind you that you will be sharing your dormitory with three other students, which may come from different majors, and although this is a rare occurrence, different years.
As informed, the housing in the dormitory is a four-bedroom apartment, complete with two vanity and bathrooms, a common area, complete with cable TV, hot and cold water, WiFi, microwave, and a fridge. Students are free to decorate as they wish, and if there is any damage to the school properties, students involved are expected to cover for the damage.
A bigger common room is available on every floor, equipped with a standard kitchen and perfectly suitable for big gatherings and parties with friends. Five washing machines are available to use on the 1st floor, please be aware that there will be a separate charge for the washing machine usage and that students must purchase their own laundry detergent. A cafeteria is also available on the 1st floor and provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for students.
While dormitory life in Rockford is relatively free, there are some rules that students must follow regardless of their age and seniority:
- Night hour at 12:00 PM. By this hour every student is already expected to be within the dorm. This rule is enforced to soothe a number of parents who have vocally voiced their worries toward the university just last year.
- A student who returned later than that hour is expected to fill in a form at the dormitory's reception desk. The student may then be summoned by the dorm mother for questioning.
- No smoking is allowed within the building.
- No pets are allowed within the building and residential area in general. If you saw one, please report it to the dormitory staff or dorm mother.
- Visitors, including family members, must fill in the guest book at the reception desk and wear the visitor badge while inside the dormitory building. Visitors are not allowed to stay over within the building.
- Each student will be given three warnings. If a student received more than three, then the dorm mother will review the student's application and may ask them to leave the dormitory.
Students may start moving into the dormitory three days before the Opening Day, the start of a new semester, and everyone is expected to finish before the end of the day. So as the name suggests, it's a university slash boarding school RP! As it is inspired by the likes of Malory Towers and Room 207 from K-drama Snowdrop (mainly this), it'll be girls only. I am looking for a small group of 4 players, so that's 3 open slots. As it may contain a mature theme, I am looking for players who are 18+ older, who are okay with writing at minimum a single paragraph (+- 5 sentences) / post, and are willing to commit long term.
