Ok, so I've been watching the Astro Boy 2003 series and have had an itching for something like it for a while anyway. But maybe something a little bit more slice of life-ey than the show. Action would still be a part of the RP and a balance between home life and super robot hero.
Don't really have a super detailed thought-out RP plot for it. It may be fun to come up with it together. but here's kind of the plain plot

Professor John, who had never been good with people, orders a robot child to get some sort of company. The robot child isn't built to do much sadly they come at any age you wish and will have to learn things that a normal kid would need to learn (besides super-inconvenient things like basic speaking and walking), reading, math, any activity. But they would learn it at a faster rate than normal kids. They can even grow up by sending the robot back to be transferred to an older body.
But one night there was a break-in at the professor's house and his robot child is stolen and taken and worked on illegally until his rescue. But during the tinkering, he gained super-strength, flight, (or whatever powers you want to have.

That's the basic plot for a beginning. There's also a neighbor with his own robotic child who would be programmed to be around 12 years old, who would be an older brother to Professor John's robot just really didn't know how to insert it into the plot. So if this interest you please PM me.
