Emerald Fiona Cerridwen

The revving of an engine as a motorcycle roared across the deserted freeway, blue metal glinting in the hot sunlight as the ball of magma blazed overhead. Wavy ebony black hair was pulled into a tight braid down to her waist as a helmet covered piercing silver-dipped ice blue orbs. When the sun hit just right, the ebony strands seemed to glint an inky hue as the head tilted. Keeping one eye on her surroundings, Emerald made her way through the desolate landscape. Her dagger glinted against her tanned skin as she USD her foot to let her kickstand down. Throwing one leg over the motorcycle as she flipped up her visor, wondering why it was so silent as the air seemed to be electrified with ill intent.

Emerald had been on her own for a while now, and she was the only T-Virus survivor that she knew of. She had managed to survive being bitten by a rat that was infected with the virus. Now, Emerald was on a mission. To somehow cause trouble and put an end to UMBRELLA itself. The corporation which had ruined her life since her parents had died. She was so determined she was a well-known enemy of the corporation; she had ended up causing some of their files to almost be lost and encouraged the thought of living with the Infected.

Name: Jeremy George

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Sexuality (opt.): Straight

Role(s): Survivor, Previously a college student (Studied Chemistry and Electronics), Parkour Instructor (Job to help pay for school)

Affiliation: Survivor, Leans towards the idea that he should help others if he can

PoB: Salt Lake City, Utah

-----------

Personality: Jeremy is very jovial. In fact he's almost impossibly optimistic given the state of things. He cracks jokes and always tries to look for a bright side. This unyielding good attitude and the jokey personality his is way of coping with the losses, the changes, and overall state of the world. He's quick to trust and quicker to offer a hand to help others. That said if someone breaks his trust earning it back will be long and often difficult task. Fool me once and all that.

Vices: 3: Sweet things, Friendly people, possible girlfriends or companions (not sure if these count but these are things he either consumes too much or will often be tricked with)

Virtues: 3: Compassion, Mercy, Fun

Likes & Dislikes(opt.): Likes: Good friends, good food, candy, weapons (though he only knows how to use a hand gun as of yet), jokes. Dislikes: Sticks in the mud, alcohol, MRE's, people with no sense of humor.

Fears/weaknesses: He's extremely trusting with new people which can obviously be used against him. He is afraid of Spiders and Wasps.
-----

History:
Jeremy was born in Salt Lake city in the state of Utah, as young man he took a keen interest in electronic devices and chemical reactions. When he turned 15 he made money in his neighborhood by restoring old computer parts and games consoles. He spent time with his dad in the garage or in his dads workshop learning about wiring and how to build batteries. In high school he took several programming classes and became reasonably skilled with programming as well as taking parkour classes.

After graduating at 18 he went to Weber State University to study Chemistry and Electronics, with the intention of creating and/or cleaning hardware and machines. Along with these classes he took machining classes to give him a general knowledge of cars and other machines, though not nearly to the extent that he knows computers and other smaller electronics. At 22 he woke up being attacked by his roomate who had contracted some form of disease after which point he found that finishing his education here wouldn't be possible. So he took what he could from the cafeteria and hit the road hoping to learn more and help others.

----
Any other information you wish to add (can be anything from enemies to crushes to friends): He is always studying when he has a moment. He is always on the look out for books he hasn't read and knowledge he doesn know. He believes that a cure is out there somewhere. And that he might not be able to make it, but he might be able to help if he knows enough.

Jeremy stood on the outskirts of Racoon city looking into the desolate city. He had no idea the significance of this town. For him is was another place to stop and rest. Scavenge supplied maybe find something new to read. The books he had on him had been educational but books about the life cycle and transmissions of the most dangerous known diseases got a little stale after the first couple of read throughs. He was hoping to find some spare electronic parts to repair his own stuff. Electricity wasn't widely available anymore. Which is why he had rigged up a battery that he could charge with motion by attaching a small wheel and handle to it. It kept his phone working. Not there was service or internet anymore but the music and games helped him to get through the nights. More than anything though he was hoping to find people.

Food and Water were hard to come by but he had ways to collect both besides just scavenging . He could hunt small game and streams and rain were a reliable enough resource for now. But people, people were hard to find. And when he did find them they were so often untrusting or unwilling to help or be helped. He had been called all kinds of things since the breakout. Over-optimistic, idealistic, unrealistic, his favorite was grinning idiot. Still the jokes and the positive attitude were more for his benefit than the benefit of other people. He knew that which was why he never really got bothered when people called him those names. It was for his sanity, himself. Not for them.

Looking into the city he breathed deep. "Oh boy I hope they got McDonalds." He said with a small smile at laughing at his own lame joke, before going into the city to search for materials, supplies, and people.

Emerald breathed a deep sigh as she uncapped her bottle of water, sipping the clear liquid as the sun beat down upon her lightly tanned skin. Afterward, the girl pulled her visor down once more, covering her piercing gaze as she revved up her motorcycle once more, getting onto the back and heading into the city where infected were said to roam freely. Her eyes scanned the deserted streets as ash, and empty cars littered the sides as she entered the city. It was interesting with how much the city had changed since she had last entered her worst nightmare. She hated Racoon City with a passion. However, first, she needed to stock up food and more water.

Her bag, which sat over her back, was filled with her notebooks and recorders of her research on the Infected. Small snacks and one last water bottle sat underneath her equipment as she fell into a crouch. Her ears picked up faint footsteps before her nose picked up the smell of a human (the downside of surviving the virus was her sense of smell was so sensitive - it annoyed her to no ends) before she shifted slightly into the shadows. She didn't know if the person was part of Umbrella or not and she wouldn't take any risks unnecessarily. When he was close enough, the girl threw her knife in the direction she believed the human was. Her body poised on the balls of her feet in order to leap forward or backwards at the slightest hint of danger.

Jeremy whistled as he stuffed his bag with supplies. Dried meat. Chips. And probably more sugary stuff than he needed. As he stood up a flying knife grazed his arm.

"Ow! Fuck!" He yelped as he looked around.

"There are people here!? YES! Who's there? I haven't spoken to someone in forever!"

Emerald couldn't help the snort of laughter that escaped her lips as a boy's voice reached her ears, and she took off her helmet, inching forward slightly so she could see better. "Who's asking?" Her soft voice asked, not revealing herself just yet as she studied the figure. Her unease skyrocketed as she inched around the boy. Aiming to collect her dagger safely without coming into view currently. Until she was sure this person wasn't aligned with Umbrella - she would not reveal herself just yet.

The ebony-haired girl took off her helmet as she slowly inched forward. "Emerald." She spoke with finality as she studied the boy before her. Ebony hair glinted with hues of inky blue as the braid swished from side to side. Her eyes pierced Jeremy carefully as she sheathed the dagger into her holster around her thigh. Her tan bag shouldered over her back as she carefully let her icy orbs scan Jeremy's figure. "What are you doing in Racoon City?" She asked lightly, shifting so she had easier access to her knife if she needed to protect herself.

"Just passing through." He said with a shrug. "Thought I'd stop for some road treats and look for new books."

The girl huffed before she showed herself fully, piercing gaze studying the boy before her. "You haven't been around Umbrella lately, then?" She asked, to be extra sure. She wanted there to be no risk of harm on her part. Though she had been on their list, she had made sure her little hacking into the mainframe erased the evidence of her being a survivor of the virus. Her eyes were what was left of the virus (other than her blood from what she experienced). Oh well, no harm, no foul, right?? Her ebony hair swayed behind her as she crossed her arms, staring coldly at Jeremy. "Raccoon City is not the place to stay in for long. You best be ready to move on soon." Her voice was clipped and all business-like.

Emerald stood there as she raised an eyebrow slightly "Yes, the pharmaceutical company." She grit out, her teeth clashing as she fought the urge to scream at the boy in front of her. She wasn't a fan of anyone, but she also wouldn't wish any harm upon anyone - especially when it came to Umbrella itself. Umbrella wasn't a group to trifle with, period. It was a hot mess of things that shouldn't even exist. (I would say it's entirely up to you - if you mean Umbrella being known for causing the virus , many assume it is Umbrella's doing there's just no proof. If you mean Em's involvement and her being a survivor .. tat is a fact no one knows ... yet lol)

"Sounds like you don't like them very much." He said. "And yeah. I've heard the rumors about Racoon City. Bad place. But the great rhing about bad places is that people are scared of 'em. That means good supplies. And hopefully books."

Em raised an eyebrow at the words which came from the boy. Her eyes narrowed as she growled a soft curse. "They are the reason behind the virus infecting humans...of course I don't like them!" She muttered out as she shifted her weight a bit. Her eyes scanned the area cautiously for the time being. Making sure the two of them weren't caught off guard. "Have fun grabbing what you want - I'm just passing through." She spoke lightly as she turned on her heel, braid flicking behind her as she aimed to stride away.
