Appearance:

Amana physically has the same shape and proportions as a normal human. She is about 5' 4" tall and has the build of someone who regularly hunts for their own food. Her hair is completely white and somewhat translucent and her eyes are a faded and whitened lavender color which makes many people uneasy. She has markings on her face (as in the image above) that change color to sometimes appear like dried blood and sometimes are a dark blue like ice.

Personality: Amana comes across as strange and out of touch. She is often quiet and will stare at people unnervingly, tipping her head to the side just a little as if something perplexes her. Her true motivations are unclear but for some reason she seems to gather with certain groups of people and attempt to help them with their goals.

Motivation: True motivation unknown but generally she connects with a person or a group and matches their motivation until the goal is met, can no longer be met, or something much more pressing arises.

Abilities: Physically she appears to be a (strange) human and has all of the normal capabilities. Beings that have travelled with her previously note that she seems to slowly change capabilities/abilities the longer she stays in a realm. Upon moving from realm to realm she immediately reverts to her “base” state.

Powers:

  • Disappearing – No one who has travelled with her knows exactly what happens but occasionally she simply vanishes before returning to the same point or a different point from time to time. There does not appear to be a set amount of time before she reappears. She also doesn’t usually arrive in locations that seem helpful and no one would consider it as a combat ability since she’s just as likely to miss the whole batter as to arrive behind the enemy. Sometimes when she reappears she is in her base state instead of her modified state.​
  • Portal sense – She seems to know the locations of portals within a certain radius (2 miles). Sometimes she even knows where they lead to (she has to have been there and there must be less than 5 portals in her radius)​

Skills:
  • Extremely proficient combatant with a variety of weapons, hand-to-hand, and impromptu weapons. Also proficient at figuring out the physical weak points of creatures.​
  • Her base state has no magical abilities but in her modified state she begins to gain some which vary based on the universe she is in and the people she is with. The longer she goes without reverting to base state the more powerful her abilities become but this is not usually very long at all.​
Background/History: Details unknown. But there are stories of her showing up in various universes and adventuring with people. She appears familiar with Earth.

Items: A set of black, pliable armor with white fur accents. It appears almost like the leather of some beast but is extremely durable and difficult to pierce, though not as pierce resistant as metal armor. She generally carries a spear and a saber as her go-to weapons with a small knife for backup. Around her waist is a belt with small black pouches where she collects herbs and other useful materials.

Species Home:
Name: Jaran
Description: Jaran is a planet very similar to Earth with a variety of different ecosystems from deserts to tundra. The planet is primarily covered in forests of varying kinds, however, and this is where most of the populace lives. There are two suns which move in a pattern which the Jaranae have not yet predicted. These suns cause extreme weather patterns at unpredictable intervals. Some winters neither of the suns arrive in an area causing a downright deadly period of cold which can be followed by a summer with both suns and extreme heat. The ecosystems have adapted to handle these extremes and the Jaranae take advantage of the vegetation, natural areas, and small magics to protect themselves from their harsh environment.

Technological/Magical Capabilities: Very little technological development. In most areas of technology they could be considered primitive. Only their weapons have progressed but only the point of steel. Although they could be considered a magical species, they wouldn't compare with many other magic-based societies. Their primary magic is in their ability to bond with their Skkolekin, a typically large creature which becomes their soul-bonded companion. They do have some minor magics which allow them to manipulate nature around them and improve their survival chances.

Government: Primarily a tribal species. Each tribe has a typical kind of Skkolekin with the most common being varieties of large cats, though some groups have wolves, bears, and even a dragon-like species. The tribes tend to war with each other for land, resources, and religious/culture differences.

Motivation: The Jaranae are a species of exclusively females which require males from other universes/species in order to continue their lineage and additionally to gain new knowledge. Although they are long-lived and this aids in their population issues, when a new portal opens they send warriors through to bring back members of the new species. They will kidnap or entice people to came back and become a member of their society or simply to teach them new skills. This causes their species to be extremely varied in appearance with many looking similar to humans blended with their father species.

Religion: Their religion is based around the Skkolekin, their soul-bonded creatures. For most Jaranae, these creatures are the only life-long companion they have. Romance is all but unknown to the Jaranae as they feel satisfied by the connection they already have. When a Jaranae is born, she has no Skkolekin and must begin training and searching to find and be worthy of her eventual companion. The meeting between Jaranae and Skkolekin is a momentous occasion which can happen at almost any time. It is usually an arduous moment for both as they both test each other to see if they are ready to begin their journey together. It is not unheard of for a pair to refuse each other multiple times before finally bonding. Once bonded, if either party dies the other will within a few months time.

The Jaranae are an extremely varied group. Although they tend to look very similar to humans, some take after their father species meaning it is difficult to describe a typical appearance. One thing that can be said is that more often than not they are beautiful woman accompanied by giant beasts.

Species Abilities:

  • Ability to bond to a Skkolekin - Once bonded they can effortlessly communicate vocally and mentally as well as feel each other's location, emotions, and general health. However, this does mean that if one is distressed, injured, or dies the other is affected as well.
  • Small Magics - Although it varies from person to person, they usually have small magical abilities to manipulate natural phenomenon. Some can make trees grow or warp to produce shelters while others find that rocks will shape to meet their will. These abilities are almost never combat worthy as they usually take time an effort. No Jaranae will be able to throw rock needles or fireballs, for example.

Society: A tribal society which focuses on survival, continuation of their tribe, and fending off other tribes. Also extremely focused on life with their Skkolekin. Very Amazonian.

Needs: Depends on their father species but typically the same needs as humans like food, water, and sleep but in lesser quantities. Also the presence of their Skkolekin in a necessity.

At first glance Harima appears to be a very dark-skinned human woman with an extremely fit, curvy build and long, braided black hair. She tends to wear layers of dark-green clothing including a hood. Various layers can be added or taken off depending on the weather. On a closer look, Harima has what appear to be purple scales on various parts of her body including her stomach, elbows, neck, thighs, upper arms, and cheeks. Her eyes are also an eerie red with slit pupils, almost like a snake's.

Eskal is a giant panther about the size of a grizzly bear on Earth. He typically has a saddle of sorts with some bags on his back. One of those bags contains pigments which Harima uses to paint him with various patterns which depend on the occasion.

Personality:

(Harima) Best summed up as chaotic neutral but with a tendency toward what people would call evil. She is extremely driven by her own desires and the need to gather power for herself. She will mimic personality traits to instill herself better in a group, even appear kind and considerate. But it's unclear whether she actually feels this way as in most cases she will turn on just about anyone to further her goals.

(Eskal) Standoffish to most people, he prefers to spend time with Harima. Although he can communicate via body language and panther sounds with anyone around him, he can communicate with Harima on a higher level and she sometimes acts as his translator of sorts. In these instances he tends to brusque and primal in his speech and thoughts. Often extremely combative and not very good at subterfuge.

Motivation:
(Harima) She was exiled from her tribe and shunned by other tribes for practicing forbidden magics. Now she seeks to gather power through any means necessary to return to her world, conquer the tribes, and bring the Jaranae people to a new era of superiority over others.

(Eskal) He wants to protect and serve Harima in her goals and desires. Although he does not completely approve of her practice with forbidden magics, he agrees that the Jaranae and their Skkolekin need to become more powerful in order to conquer other universes.

Abilities:
(Harima) Excellent swimmer and climber, can see in the dark though without color vision, protective scales on certain weak points, greater than human strength and agility. Sharp teeth and sensitive senses of hearing, smell, and taste.

(Eskal) Typical skills of a panther although with the changes caused by his increased size including greater strength, carrying capacity, etc.

Powers:
(Harima)
  • Skkolekin magics -> Harima has practiced two different kinds of forbidden magic, one of which is Skkolekin magic. This primarily means that she can apply her magic to Eskal and use him to store magic for future use. The secondary ability, which takes extreme preparation and skill, is to take control of another's Skkolekin. It is extremely dangerous for her, Eskal, and the Skkolekin she is controlling especially as she has very little practice with the forbidden power.
  • Blood magics -> The second of the forbidden magics, Harima has practiced the use of blood as an agent of her magic. Currently she can only shape and control small portions of her own blood. She can change it into a toxin which can be applied to her own weapons or Eskal's claws. She is still discovering other uses for it and hopes to someday be able to control others' blood.
  • Darkness magics -> Harima's only non-forbidden magic and that which she was born with is the ability to control light in a limited way, mostly meaning she is excellent at hiding in shaded places. She is an extremely proficient assassin due to this ability.

(Eskal) None of his own, though he can channel Harima's powers and act as a resevoir

Skills:
(Harima) Trained with knives, short swords, and spears. Familiar with archery but not particularly skilled. Knowledge of the use of natural components for healing or harm. Skilled survivalist.

Background/History: Harima was born to a major tribe deep in the jungles of Jaran. Throughout her youth she say many other tribes come to trade, persuade, or war with her own tribe. Although they were quite powerful, they often lost a great deal during these conflicts and gained very little. Additionally, her tribe and other tribes are beginning to have troubles with outsiders from other universes taking advantage of their lack of technology and knowledge. Harima advocated for a more forceful approach and for the advancement of the Jaranae people by conquering and uniting the tribes. The elders ignored her as being a Skkolekin-less child with very little knowledge of the world and how the tribes work. Deciding the elders were useless, Harima began practicing with the forbidden magics while searching for her Skkolekin. When she and Eskal first met, he promptly rejected her. It took them twenty meetings before Harima convinced him that the forbidden magics were necessary to bring the Jaranae up out of their tribal squalor and into the new age. However, during this last meeting another member of the tribe overheard them and reported to the elders. Both Harima and Eskal were promptly exiled from their tribe with news spreading throughout the other tribes. Now they search for a way to gather more power and allies to help them subjugate their own people.

Name: Seth “Set” Shrapshire

Gender: Male

Home: Earth, Sioux Falls, SD

Species: Human

Age: 31

Personality: Seth has always been an extremely driven and goal-oriented man who tends toward strong convictions. He is extremely loyal to his comrades but struggles to interact with civilians and people who haven’t seen the catastrophe that war brings. Recently one of his convictions was shaken and he has become convinced that violence is not the best recourse and should be avoided at all cost.

Motivation: Seth has become disillusioned with war in general and with his government in particular. He strives to avoid bloodshed at any cost, not just eschewing death but any form of violence. He is willing to support his comrades in whatever way necessary even if that means they kill people but he refuses to hurt others himself despite being more than capable of it.

Abilities: He has all of the abilities a human would normally have keeping in mind his extensive training as a Seal and a sniper. He’s at his peak physical fitness other than the injury that he recently obtained and is just finishing healing from.

Powers: Once the Cataclysm hits, he develops three primary abilities.

  • Healing of others – Although Seth is incapable of healing himself in even the smallest of ways, he gains the natural ability to heal others around him. His distance for healing is relatively short. At about 5 feet from him he can only heal minor cuts and scrapes. The closer one gets the quicker that healing goes and the worse the cuts can be. Anything that could be considered moderate or severe can only be healed through prolonged physical contact and focus. It is extremely tiring for him to heal anything complex and he may pass out before finishing. At the moment of the cataclysm his healing ability is limited to wounds of similar severity to deep gashes (non-lethal) and broken bones. He cannot currently heal organ damage or repair wounds that by themselves would be lethal.
  • Power/Aura Reading – Passively he can see the auras of magical beings within a radius of 1 mile. The specificity of his reading is dependent both on the number of signatures and the strength of the signatures. Generally, he can ascertain a relative power level (1-10) and the category of magic. If there are lots of signatures in an area it becomes more difficult to pinpoint the location, strength, or category of a signature as they all begin to blur together.
  • Shadow cloak – Twice per day at a limit of 15 minutes at a time, Seth can create a cloak of shadows around him and any peoples/creatures he chooses within a 20 foot radius.

  • Extremely proficient with firearms (particularly rifles), hand-to-hand combat, survival skills in warfare zones, stealth, subterfuge, demolitions (including underwater), and other standard Navy Seal skills.

    Background/History: Even at a young age, Seth knew that he wanted to join the military. His family had a long military tradition and he grew up immensely proud of this fact. Upon graduating high school he did go to college for a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and completed NROTC. He then completed BUD/S training, SEAL qualification training, and was selected for sniper training. Up until this point his life plan had been going perfectly for him. However, after several years serving as a SEAL sniper, he began to become disillusioned with combat and war in addition to the US government. Now he feels torn between his loyalty to his country and the forming ideology that violence has gone too far.

    Items: At the moment of the Cataclysm, he begins with nothing more than a tactical knife and a concealed carry pistol.

Species Name: Sculthex

Species Home: Cromition

Cromition is, quite simply, an aquatic paradise. Filled with unique tropical plants and other aquatic life, the Sculthex people have an abundance of resources to fuel their society. Most sea life is extremely similar to those found on the planet Earth. Cromition is completely submerged in water, yet shows signs of dry land existing at some point in time.

Technological/Magical Capabilities:
The Sculthex have not developed very advanced weaponry. Their soldiers carry tridents (made of a material which is the equivalent to titanium) and harpoons (made of the same abundant material).
As for magic, only hybrids are able to harness it. The only form of magic that exists in this world is that of healing, known to humans as biokinesis. This form of healing allows the user to manipulate cells and tissue of others at will, painfully but surely healing other life forms.

Government/Society:
Sculthex, despite their wealth, have a simple social structure in which each member of the society is numbered. The lower your number, the higher you are on the social ladder (for example, #1 is the most powerful, #2 is the second in command, etc). They rarely trade with other universes, and mostly keep to themselves. Despite their seemingly peaceful society, the Cromitions host many fights to the death among their gladiators in order to gain a better social status. Jobs are assigned due to both rank and ability. If you have an unfavorable rank, but have a genetic trait allowing them to do a task with great precision and skill, they are assigned that task. Currency is non-existent in this society, and the food supply is distributed evenly among all Sculthex, no matter their rank.

Motivation:
Cromition has no interest in conquering Earth. Despite humans being lesser life forms due to their lack of... fins and gills... they simply feel no obligation to destroy them or force them into slavery. Nonetheless, they wouldn't find any logical reason to sacrifice their soldiers to help them, either.

Religion:
The species has no formal religion. Although seemingly primitive in the sense of technology, they do have a high understanding of the theories of evolution and natural selection. They believe that millions of years ago, water was rare and could only be found in the far corners of the land. It is unknown how water was able to fill most of the planet, but it's clear that whatever non-amphibious life existed beforehand did not survive. The survivors of what is known as the "Great Flood" were able to adapt, survive, and overcome.

The Sculthex people , although tall and lanky appearance, have surprising stealth, agility, speed, stamina, and strength, along with heightened senses (save one). They have extremely impaired vision due to their aquatic environment. It should be noted that no two Sculthex look alike (see species abilities). The picture that was taken above depicts a member of this species stepping onto the shore of another universe. It had acquired the ability to absorb oxygen from the air, allowing it to breathe both above and below the surface.

Species Abilities:
As for biological capabilities, it depends on their bloodline. Certain families have unique traits similar to those of certain sea life. For example, one family may have tentacles, another may have rough, sandpapery skin and sharpened teeth, and yet another could have stinging cells - you get the picture. Hybrids are frowned upon (they are seen as "unnatural" by many), but have a higher chance of being able to use simple magic.

Needs:
Besides the need for a temperature above 30° Fahrenheit, Sculthex need the same things as a typical organism, aside from oxygen-rich air. Instead, they thrive in oxygen-rich water with the salinity of 3.5% or lower. They are unable to survive above air, though if they gain the ability to absorb oxygen due to the crossing over of universes, this obstacle vanishes.

History:
(See Religion for the majority of this info). Cromition originally formed as an alliance between all organisms with the ability to reason and think as a higher life form. This alliance thrived for approximately 576 years, before collapsing due to the Wiedilian Revolution. The Wiedilian Monarchy ruled for about a decade before being driven out by the Cromition loyalists who survived. It is unknown whether the Wiedilians survived being cast into what is known as the Void, an area of ocean with waters so treacherous and harsh that only few are capable of surviving. As recently as a decade ago, a Task Force of about twenty warriors set out to enter the Void to search for survivors of the lost Wiedilian people. No members of the group returned from the oblivion.

Name: Milen

Gender: Male

Home: Cromition

Species: Sculthex

Age: 27 (a Sculthex teen)

Personality:

Appearance: Milen is both tall (6'7), and muscular. His appearance may suggest that he is related to a type of Koi, however, his genetics and abilities indicate that he has traces of another ancestry (see background/history). He wears little armor, in order to allow swiftness. These clothes, designed by the Sculthex, are made from a light material that both insulates heat and maximizes movement.

Motivation: (A subset of personality but go a little deeper into what your characters goals are and what will drive them throughout the story.)

Abilities/Powers: As stated in the Background/History section, Milen comes from a long line of hybrids. While many of his race see this as somewhat a disgrace, it comes at a large advantage. Milen's arms, hands, and feet are covered in stinging cells with replenishable venom, enough to stop the heart of a whale shark in under a minute. With the perk of biokinesis (the ability to manipulate the cells/tissue of the user and other organisms), the stinging cells are retractable. Another Healer perk is being able to heal others. Milen's other natural ability is known to humans as the "Ampullae of Lorenzini". These are special, microscopic organs found on Milen's face that allow him to sense the electricity generated by the movement of muscles of other organisms. Other abilities include heightened senses (except for eyesight) and increased strength, speed, and stamina, which are all heightened even further under water).

Due to the crossing over of worlds, Milen gained the power to breathe both water and oxygen-rich air using his gills.

Skills: Durable to strong attacks, can blend in with more... sadistic and cold-hearted beings, good scavenger (in water), extensive knowledge of sea life (both Cromition and Earth's).

Background/History:

Species Name: Maman

Species Home: Realm of Mana

Planet name: Magi
Description: Magi is a large world similar to earth in climate and weather patterns but roughly four times its size.

Technological/Magical Capabilities: Technologically speaking the people of Magi have technology more or less comparable to 13th-15th century earth. However magically speaking they are powerhouses. Every single Maman born is born wkth a magically charged soul. With training some can hone these talents to be able to wipe away mountains on their own. There are currently 9 known sources of magic for them. Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, light, dark, spirit, order, and chaos. Though it is exceedingly rare some can have access to multiple sources at once.

Government: the entire planet of Magi is under the rule of The Grand king, who in turn rules over 7 Kings, who in turn rule over a varied number of governers who rule over cities. The government is one of the rare ones that actually puts the needs of the people before their personal needs, kings have lost their heads for doing the opposite. However the word of one with a crown is the law. Which means that the legal rules of the nation change based on where you are...however the grand kings word is treated as divine edict.

Motivation: Earth is a realm without much magic, the kings of Magi wish to errect Magicite obelisks all across the planet on top of laylines creating a network of natural energies to fortify the magical energy of earth and make it grow stronger. Afterwards they intend to teach humans magic. All so that they can have a powerful ally...and more importantly a 10th source thay can rule over the other 9 and create perfevt balance. So essentially they want to help the earth so that it is a suitable magical battery for the people of Magi.

Religion: Gods do exist in the realm of mana. However few of them are worshipped as forces exist beyond these gods. The 9 True forces. Fire, earth, wind, water, light, dark, spirit, order, & chaos. These forces are literally interconnected to everyones souls...everyones. Including gods, men, monsters, fish, and plants. These 9 true forces create a form of spiritual connection with all life forms that allows them to primarily seek peace, love, joy, and other positive emotions. Positivity ans balance with nature is their religion...however with so much good balance must exist. The evils that exist in the realm of mana are Ancient and evil and some are even said to be in opposition to the 9 true forces.

Species Appearance:
Mamans are surprisingly human looking. Indistinguishable from them in fact. The main differences are size and hair/eye color. Unlike humans Mamans range is much wider with some being as small as 2-3ft while others have reached sizes of up to 11ft tall. They also have a much wider range of hair and eye colors. Neon Green hair is actually a naturally occuring color, as is purple.

Species Abilities:
Eternal growth- Mamans lack human adrenaline and physical inhibitors that protect their bodies from damaging themselves. But they also lack the plateu effect and can grow to levels of strength and speed that are downright superhuman. If one of them were to dedicate their entire 500 year lifespan to throwing the same punch by the time they died that punch could knock skyscrapers down and create explosions.

Natural magic- all Maman posses a pool of magic that they can use to link to one of the 9 true forces in order to change their natural "blank" mana into an elemental mana which can be used to make spells. Spells are how Mamans utilize their natural ability and can range from weak spells that makes rocks glow, cover up smells, and move small things to strong spells that invert gravity, turn back time, or even evaporate entire lakes. Spells are ranked from lv.1 being the lowest to lv.10 being the strongest It is very rare to find mamans who can use high level spells though.

Society: Maman is still a developing world technologically amd it contines to develop. It has a bustling economy as diverse as earths. However some unique jons are monster hunters, magic instructors, and Wardens who guard sacred sites of the 9 true sources.

History: it is said that long ago the gods of the realm of mana ruled Magi and Mamans were their slaves created to serve. However 5000 years ago a rebellion insued and the Maman were able to overthrow these gods with superior numbers and using the gods own proud nature against them. However this rebellion came at a steep cost. Nearly all life was wiped from the world some say as much as 95% of all things died. Because of this war has been a rarity for these people. In fact only three full scale nation verses nation wars have ever occured with the most recent one being over 1700 years ago. Her heart is filled with a yerning for adventure which she constantly reminds people of. However she is rather skittish and easily afraid often doubting her power. But if you want to it rain fire and sprout lightning bolts from the ground go ahead and become a threat to something she loves. Hell hath no wrath like this womans scorn.

Motivation: Aether has a pretty simple reason for doing what she does. To step out of her fathers shadow and forge a name for herself.

Abilities:
Maman Stats: Aether is rather young for a Maman, and has devoted little time to physical development. Even still she can lift up to 900lbs, run at up to 40mph, has shrugged off falls from upwards of 6 stories, and withstood ramming attacks from the equivalent of a rhinoceros. However this is actually considered average for Maman females of her age.

True Source of Fire Adept- Aether's best trained art is calling upon the True source of fire. This classifies her technically as a Pyromancer, and boy does she live up to the name. She has a range of flame spells from fireballs and Flame whips, to spawning flame geysers, pyrocalastic clouds, rippling waves of fire, Manipulating existing fire, and generating fire. She is immune to fires created by her, but other flames amd sources of heat can still burn her. She had a good teacher but is far from the best pyromancer in her world.


Powers:
Magi's Guardian- Aether is actually in possession of a unique ability never before witnessed on Magi but long since spoken of in prophecy. Mamans draw magic to themselves from the 9 true sources to cast spells. Only one source can be called upon at a time causing many to only master one or so as to save themselves the trouble of having to switch sources, a process which can take up to an hour. What Makes Aether so special is she can tap into all 9 Sources at once. Resulting in a massive spike of magical power and omni elemental spells unavailabile to others of her kind. Though she can tap into the sources equivalent in any given universe she must learn an entirely new set of spells to be able to be effective. Whats worse is she cannot even control her access to this power and it only seems to come out in situations of dire life or death level stuff. Not percieved as dire by her , but actual dire situations.

Skills:
Adept Sorcerer, Excellent at riding horses and lions, well educated in history, science, medicine, and battle tactics, though she lothes the last. Can have excellemt ettiquite when she wants.

Background/History: Being Born the child of the Highest ruler in your planet was not all it was cracked up to be, firstly she was born in the shadow of her father. No matter what she seems to do people continue to treat her noticeably different. Second she was far from free, being the daughter of the most politically powerful ruler in her world meant she was basically born trapped in the palace because people would surely target her in order to get at the king. It was that very same reason that the king requested his friend Zudo become her bodyguard. After all her constant efforts to sneak away would be effective one day. Since aquiring Zudo as her personal guard she has been allowed to leave the castle which she does for days at a time.

While not oblivious to his titles and peoples looks he pays them no mind always seeming to focus on the next task at hand with an almost single minded focus. He is extra calm and kind even in situations that in no way call for such sentiments which include combat. Though brave he claims he does indeed feel fear, however one would never notice as he takes it in stride like everything else. Above all else he is a man of his word, if he tells you he will be there for yoh, he will be, if he tells you he is going to kill you, it might be wise to invest in a tombstone.

Motivation: He aims to protect Aether through this proving process as requested by his best friend then he wants to retire and open up a brothel.

Abilities:
Maman Stats- Zudo is an example of a near peak Maman. He has displayed strength enough to effortlessly smash through castle walls with his bare hands, can move quick enough to leave afterimages and dodge ligtning bolts, and has gotten up seemingly unphased after being smacked through nearly a dozen trees by a dragon. However inversely he has been brused and even had blood drawn by attacks that caught him off Guard and his guard is rarely up.

Spirit source mastery- Zudo is a master of the Source of spirit having spent his entire life mastering this particular force. He has a wide range of spells from low level spells that allow him to effect the emptions of those around him to powerful healing spells that can regrow limbs. However he is famed for his mastering the level 10 spirit spell Soul blade, which imbues his blade with an aura which can cleave through nearly anything and destroys the soul of what is sticken by it.


Powers:
Divine blessing of The Lion- the source of Zudo's massive magical power and physical might is a training he underwent with the Lion god of the wilds. The process took the zudo's soul which originally sat near his heart like every other Maman soul and spread it evenly through his body making his magical and physical might one and the same. However the greatest power it granted him and the one he is most known for is his ability to turn ito a huge 3000lb lion with fur like steel.

Background/History: Zudo Was born the eldest of two sons of the Great Monster Hunter Kyrule Bangha and His wife the Earth source Master Anita Margold. Unlike his brother Zudo was obsessed with his fathers trade and practiced everyday to be a Monster hunter. He was naturally talented with the blade, but not enough to be able to rely solely on it like others. One would think with his parent Zudo would be born mighty and powerful. However he was actually rather gentle and a bit below his peers when it came to fighting prowess. He wound up earning his fathers disappointment when he found himself unable to kill the first monster he encountered.

Though Zudo continued to train with a variety of weapons he never again went on a hunt seeking to kill again. Eventually his parents sent Both Zudo and his brother Zeed to train under the spirit essence master Telfan Shriek. Mainly die to a sickness that was begining to spread nearby which had already afflicted their mother. Here he learned well but again was outshone by his peers, especially his brother. However Zeed was beginning to grow troubled and obsessed with death and souls. Not wanting to see his brother in this light he left and took the knowledge he had learned and continued to build upon it himself. He lived as a vagrant for nearly a century wandering the wilds and experienceing the world as best he could. Here he grew strong and rather large.

Eventually he encountered a man clad in ornate armor with several knights traveling with him. The man claimed to be the king of Magi to which Zudo responded "i have no king ". This offended the knights who asked to kill him for his dishonor. When the king asked Zudk how he felt about that Zudo said "they are welcome to try". Much to everyones surprise including Zudo's these knights wound up being hideously outclassed by Zudo's physical might and excellent skills. Turns out he had grown stronger than he thought. Yet he refused to kill any of them, which the king respected greatly. He offered him a place at his side as his guard. Zudo accepted and a beutiful friendship blossomed.

For centuries the two protected the realm from all manner of threat. However the kne that earned Zudo his fame was when he Trained with the Lion god of the wilds in order to defeat a dragon who was destroying the northern continent. He vanished for nearly a decade before returning an entirely new being. He managed to slay the dragon after long scuffle and from there he became known as the Lion of Magi. Since then he has mainly trained to maintain his skills and partaken in many knights tournaments until he got tired of winning them. He now serves as the royal guard to his best friends family an honor he wears with pride.

The blade of the Lionheart- A legendary blade forged from the bone of the great dragon Zudo slayed. It is an incredibly heavy two handed sword which weighs nearly 300lbs. While in lion form he holds this blade in his mouth. It has no magical enchantments other than its invulnerablity enchant which makes it virtually indestructible.

Pelt of the wilds- a lions pelt given to him by the lion of the wilds. It thickens or thins to adjust for climates. It is able to be ripped or torn but it can repair itself over time.

Dagger- a common steel dagger.

Other: Zudo does not drink nor take any forms of drug. He also aadheres to a non lethal vow that he only violates when doing so would cost more lives.

Afloat within a sea of ether are the ten land masses that make up the Primvaelian's home world, Arcadia. Each land mass has a unique climate, weather pattern, and geographical structure. Due to the variety of land and the ether that surrounds them the Primvaelians have been forced to evolve in vastly different ways, basically one Primvaelian will look much different to one whose lived on another land mass.

Technological/Magical Capabilities: Primvaelians maybe sentient beings, but they are very bestial. As such they have no technology what so ever, using only the innate magical abilities and skills they are born with to accomplish their goals.

Government: One becomes the Ruler of Arcadia by simply being the most powerful Primvaelian in all the land. Most Primvaelians due live in tribes or packs that have their own leaders, but in the end every Primvaelian must answer to the Ruler of Arcadia, who's pretty much allowed to do as they please. During their reign the Ruler must defend their title against challengers in combat known as "The Ascent". Whoever wins is now Ruler of Arcadia and the loser is typically killed or humiliated. The current Ruler of Arcadia is Alantaris, a ruthless, tyrannical Primvaelian with a nigh unquenchable thirst for blood and conflict.

species description:
larazit and larso are an intertwined species living in small clans of about 6 families they larso are born with the larazit as an almost symbioses while young the larso follows the orders and commands of the larazit, in turn being protected and getting food. as they get older the larazit and larso' relationship become more of a mutual partnership between both, far less of slavery and they work together between one another strength and weakness, whether it be mental or physical. Why this relationship developed is unknown, the most prominent theory is that in truth, the larso are just a subspecies of larazit. Or perhaps in the past filled out a specific role the larazit where unable to (the use of magic in large amounts being one suggested reason), it should be noted both species have extremely heightened sense as such they appreciate good food and a cook is one of the most prestigious positions since they can easily tell if something is undercooking or not,
Larazit are known to be extremely strong and rather intelligent although not the most dexterous species, while larso are generally very fast and dexterous creatures preferring to avoid a fight or problem and never fix it

it should be noted that larazit are all but immune to magic and other magical like abilities such telepathy telekinesis and other "elemental" manipulation abilities as and are entirely incapable of it, it is considered that they produce an "anti-magic" that severally disrupt abilities on contact. in fact, they have a strange religious view on magic, and other abilities similar to it believing in something called the "flows of magic" and each of its threads, the way they explain this makes them sound almost shamanic and sage-like in their speech

Personality: Bobby is a troubled young man, having seen war all his life he is almost numbed to witnessing death, and will not hesistate to deliver it to his foes in copious amounts. However that said he is a guardian at heart and if he finds himself defending another he is willing to deal any amount of collateral damage, and even sacrifice his own life if it means others can live. He is also very stubborn straight up ignoring those who give him advice he doesnt want to hear. He is however a man who has truely mastered his fear having stood his ground against armies, fleets, and even his own "Brothers" who were specifically designed to be upgraded versions of him. In every encounter he has not only maintained courage but also a strange sense of duty that goes beyond the required call. Whatever the occasion may be Bobby will rise to it...then cut it into smouldering ribbons.

Motivation:
Bobby is a symbol of hope where he comes from, or rather he was. He sees himself as a failure now but still seeks to find a way back home if only to destroy ths Vorinex who took it from him.

Abilities:
Creative aggression- One of the only remaining human parts of bobby is his brain and his eyes. Because of this his mind is like that of a humans...hove you ever thought about what a person can dp with The power of several nuclear bombs? Because bobby has every day since his transformation and it is rather scary to see in action.


Powers:
Advanced Cybernetic body- bobbies body is the single most advanced piece of technology mankind had ever created. An amalgation of alien tech and human ingenuity made a body out of strange materials capable of cutting starships from the sky. His body is made of a lightweight, energy resistant, and incredibly hard metal called Valdurium which is easily able to withstand high caliber anti-tank rounds and even direct fire from starfighter jets. Magnetic servoes are placed in all of his joints allowing incredible speed and power behind his movements. His targeting systems can aquire targets thousands of times faster than the human brain allowing him to target individual projectiles with his blade. However all of these advanced systems are mostly human made. Its his weaponry and his power core that are the most advanced parts of him and they are managed through three seperate "modes"

Conservation mode- Bobbys normal state. His power core is actually turned off and his energy comes from rechargable batteries that are charged when his core becomes active. In this state he is basically just a robot with enhanced strength, speed, and durability. As well as superior computing power.

Burst Drive Mode- When this form is engaged maximum power is diverted to his servos and energy shielding systems come online. His core begins unleashing massive bursts of 110%-150% power that allow his servos to fire at mindnumbing speeds for short bursts, while allowing his shield to only activate when attacks are in close proxomity. In addition photonic resonators behind bobbies eyes allow him to fire high energy explosive lasers from his pupils. However with each burst his weapons, servos, and sheilds grow closer to overheating. Maning this form needs to end fights quickly and decisively.

Marathon Mode- this mode activates bobbies core but leaves it at 50%-75% output in order to conserve power. The result is the actuvation of his primaty weapon. His Atomic beam saber. It also allows his targeting systems and servoes to synchronise allowing for reaction time enough to respond to lightning. Finally his thrusters become active for quick acceleration This is his most frequently used form despite it being his "one trick pony" state. There is only two things he can do in that form, fly & run really fast, and cut things into molten slag.

Overdrive mode- the only form in which bobby undergoes a physical transformation as his core consistently unleashes 200% power output . His thrusters fully expose themselves becoming jets, he gains access to his second Atomic beam Saber, his eye beams become active along with his sheilding and targeting systems. In this state Bobby becomes a virtual one man army able to cut through massive structures and mop up the floor with vast numbers of foes. This form however has a huge drawback. It only lasts about 30 seconds first of all, secondly usage of it causes bobby to revert to Conservation mode for 24 hours regardless of how long he maintains the form. That said bobby has never needed to use it for longer than 10 seconds.

Skills: Master class swordsman, master hand to hand fighter, master hacker & engineer. Can read brail, Piss poor at stealth, terrible public speaker, worst Chef alive.

Background/History:
Bobby Tangent was one of the many childrem who were born on the day the earth declared worldwide peace and disarmed. The first three years of his life were a beautiful utopia where he wanted for nothing. However it was shortlived, halfway through his third year came the Vorinex. Like a flood they washed over the planet in less than an hour and rained explosive atomic lasers from the sky on all major cities. Bobby and his parents were living in Brooklyn at the time, however his father Robert was off working on a fishing boat at the time of the attack. He came back to find his apartment having fallen a dozen stories to the ground below. After nearly two hours of digging and hiding he managed to find his wives body and beneath it his son bobby. The boys legs were crushed and a head injury had taken most of the childs sight from him. With a heavy heart but a smidge of hope Robert took his son into the subway tunnels with the rest of the fleeing humanity.

It took the vorinex 3 days after the initial assault to decide to land on the planet. In that time people fled underground, into the wilderness, and began to reconstruct the weapons they had forsaken. The war for humanity had begun and Bobbies father was caught up in it. The man was a naturla however not only managing to survive but even being one of a handful of men who were able to down a vorinex soldier in combat. For 16 years he held his ground with the rest of mankind eventually becoming one of the rebel leaders. However their efforts seemed pointless. In the nearly two decades the enemy had taken the surface. Already their cities were going up and more came every day. In a desperate attempt robert managed to lead a mission to steal fusion power cores from the alien cities reactors three were taken, but at the cost or roberts life.

However his sacrifice allowed the humans to construct 3 Mechanical bodies of immense technological innovation and power. However there was a problem. No computer system they had was advanced enough to run the thing...at least none that were technological. You see humans have one computer of immense power, one they have always had, their brains. Several candidates were chosen but few could pass the mental tests that were provided. However one they didnt expect was able to. The blind wheelchair bound bobby, who passed the exercises just hearing the description of them while in the other room. He was then selected to be the first as they sought out others who could acheive the needed mental power for the mech.

After this bobby's life brightened both literally and figuratively. He became a smidge of hope for more than just his father. First by breaking into the prison and saving the people whome the vorinex hadnt killed. Then by engaging the Vorinex on seemingly all fronts. He was a lone wolf hero facing down the endless horde. However he never faultered or surrendered, sure he made mistakes, but he always stuck to his guns and saw every confrontation to its end. Eventually he inspired enough hope for the rebels to gather together under one banner and lead the assault on the vorinex city that had replaced new york. However it was a trap, the vorinex had no civilians in this city only soldiers, and they let the rebels get deep into enemy territory before they revealed this to them.

Bobby fought valiantly, but humanity went extinct at his side. One by one he watched as the rebels fell. He attampted to cut them an escape into the tunnels, but that only served to lead the vorinex to the rest of the non combatant's. Entering his overdrive mode and preparing to give them hell he cut a swath of destruction through these forces before a bright flash of red cut his battle short. He now finds himself in an alleyway on a strange new version of earth where the grass is still green...and new york is still intact. His earth however did have alot more scientific study into multiverse theory, which you tend to read alot of when its one of 8 brail books you have. As such he was quickly aware that this was not his earth. He is now torn between trying to start a new life, and seeking revenge against the vorinex who took his world from him.

Items: Rebel Cloak- a thick leather poncho that holds several grenades of smoke, incendiary, flash, and frag varieties.

Atomic beam saber- Able to be sheathed inside of a compartment in his thigh this weapon uses magnetic fields to hold a steady stream of nuclear plasma. These weapons require large amounts of energy to be used, but are caoable of cutting through both matter and energy. Denser materials take longer to cut but will nonetheless yeild to its edge. This blade can be extended to nearly double its own length but the energy cost makes it impractical to do this. A trademark of this blade is that it leaves what is cut either burned lr unstable enough to explode if it holds energy within it. So cutting aliem space ships and super suits causes them to explode...(or whatever else that holds energy like a generator or an engine.)

Other: Not particularly fond of non-human creatures. Though he does not go out of his way to harm them.​

He is quick to fight, and Quicker to draw his gun seeing absolutly no value in human life beyond what that person can do for him. If your ever curious as to how a bullet tastes go ahead and steal money from this guy.


Motivation: Anthony is driven by what most men are, greed. He will pursue wealth, power, women, and even just comforts as if he were a hunter in the wilderness.

Powers:
Death Immunity- While he may not know it yet the cataclysm did effect anthony. He is actually impervious to death and is able to regenerate at an atomic level. His healing factors speed adjusts to accomodate the wound. So for examole a punch to the face wouldnt cause any life threatening injuries so it wouldnt trigger the healing. But being shot in the gut would grant him a healing factor akin to wolverine, and a shotgun blast to the head would cause him to heal as if he were made of water. Recommended you use death by 1000 cuts. However even if he were to be erased at an atomic level death would be incapable of claiming him and he would becone a disembodied spirit.

Skills:
Gunslinger- unlike what is commonly portrayed in tv shows, Anthony is a gangsta with good aim. He has spent countless hours practicing and is accurate enough that most of his shots land in his enemies heads and throats. Ever see john wick? Yeah that.

Close quarters- Anthony has even mastered incorperating his guns into hand to hand fights blocking weapons with his own while pistol whiping and point blank shooting his foes. He is one of the few gunslingers who is actually more dangerous at a close range.

Quick/Trick/Attack reload- Anthony has turned reloading into an art form, ejecting the empty mags out of his pistols with finesse tossing them in the air while he grabs two mags and catches them sliding the new mags in. He can move his hands fast enough with one pistol to reload without missing the rhythm of the next shot. And foes who think his reloading is the time to attack have found that his mags are sharpened at the loading feed allowing him to stab foes with the mag before clambering it and shooting them with a bullet soaked in their own blood.

Master of Dippage- if there is one skill Anthony is knowm for its getting the F outta dodge. He has outran and outsmarted the police on at least a weekly basis. Even expert detectives find themselves lost once he ducks into the subways he knows so well. He also just so happens to be a fast runner, not olympic fast, but he is easily a marathon runner.

Background/History: Anthony's story starts like so many others he was orphaned at a young age in brooklyn becoming a ward of the state. Growing up he was always the small kid, last picked, and always the target of bullies. However when he was 7 a new kid was sent there. Mickey Samson a 14 year old thug from Chicago who had no intentions of sticking around long. For whatever reason he was quick to take Anthony under his wing. He not only smashed on the bullies but he taught anthony how to do it himself. They stuck together for about a year in the orphanage before they ran away to live on the streets.

Growing up in the streets of brooklyn was no picnic. The boys did what they had to in order to survive. They joined a gang, sold drugs and even robbed people. Mickey had his eyes set on something higher however. He began to gather others and started his own gang which Anthony became his right hand man in. They grew quickly earning the ire of the gang the boys started in. It grew into a gangwar in the streets of new York. Yet when Micky got shot everyone witnessed what it was he saw in anthony.

Thinking his friend dead Anthony decided F%$k it and got two pistols. He bust into the bar owned by their old gang leaders, in broad daylight, and engaged in a shootout with them resulting in his being hit twice. Once in the left leg and once in the right shoulder. However he managed to kill 2 of the 3 bosses and another 6 men who were a mix of associates, hired guns, and even a random waiter. When he got back he was sent to a crime surgeon where he learned Micky was not dead but recovering.

It all wound up playing out well the end the surviving enemy boss called a truce, the gangwar ended and things became relatively calm. Micky was so happy that he dumped vast amounts of money on Anthony buying him his guns and suit and keeping a steady supply of cash in hand. All he has to do is hone his skills without end and be Micky's personal attack dog. Anthony was happy to do so but he had been going a bit stir crazy lately. Luckily the sky decoded to split open and puke up a buncha monsters and weirdos causing a huge panic. So he decided to gather up some of the boys and take this opportunity to do some top tier looting.

Items:
Pain & Panic- Twin custom made .45 caliber handguns with doublestack extended mags holding 14 rounds a piece. Muzzle brakes reduce recoil while adding length and thus accuracy to the barrel. He tends to load Hollow points in Pain, and Armor piercing rounds in Panic. His 6 backup mags are color coordinated. Silver mags go into Pain and Black mags inti panic. The custom grip is tailored to his hand fitting it like a glove perfect for his gun-fu.

Layered jacket- the jacket That Anthony wears is actually layered with kevlar and can stop low caliber bullets with a whole hell of alot of pain. It can also stop weak knive attacks but not anywhere near as effevtively as bullets.

Misc- Anthony also carries a pack of smokes, a switchblade, a money clip with about 800 bucks in it, a Titanium plate phone, and a Gold played Zippo.

Motivation: just try and get back home mabye? if he remembers where that is.

Abilities: hunter as a natural charming ability that makes him appear relatively attractive to almost any species, he also is able to feed off magic, that's about it.. although the charming ability increases in potency the more attention hunter has.


Powers: technically could copy the magic he as eaten but is too young to do that without proper training

Skills: half decent singer, knows his way around a spider walker system, however unlikely that is to help him

Background/History: hunter is a demon end off, spawned from whatever pit of hell demons come form (universe where he forms nones sure where demon exactly come form hence not even they know although the larazit think that there made of magic for the flows of fire,) he hasn't changed in all his time being a demon he hadn't had any parents, being a demon and all, his spawning happened to be directly inside the mana reactor room of the spider walker "bolases rampage" the whole vessel was sent into chaos as he showed up confused and lost as to what he was doing there or why his charm helped him greatly as most people couldn't deny the young demon had something undeniably attractive about him, eventually the captain was called down the captain was in fact a demon themselves captain telpin recognizes exactly what he was, suggesting he be kept in engineering, for the soul reason that mana reactors where a little finicky often leaking mana and wild magic, hunter was.. well very good a hunting them down hence his name. and hes been there ever since, until of course the portals begain opening, and well the spider walker was pulled through.

Personality: Akuma is a true hero at heart, selfless to the point of self destruction he can and has on many occasions given all he has to those around him even if it means he will go hungry or go without. The only time he is less than a saint of kindness is when he confronts what he deems to be evil. Against the wicked beings of the multiverse he is unforgiving and terrifying to behold from the other side. However he is far from perfect, having a very poor self image, and rarely if ever acting on his own behalf. Even after over ninty years he has come no closer to understanding himself of his place in the grand scheme of things. He seems to be naive enough to believe those who apologize and he takes a persons word as law very rarely understanding rhetorical questions or sarcasm.

Motivation: Akuma is driven by suffering and wickeness, or rather a deep seated need to oppose such things. He will not move to better himself, but he wont be able to stop himself if it means bettering someone else.

Abilities: Perfect clone- Akuma is a perfect clone of the human genome back tracked throughout all of history to find the Purest genetic code possible. As such he has zero mental imbalances, and is in perfect health. Furthermore his immune system is as strong as humanly possible making him able to resist most diseases, infections and ailments. However his perfect health and genetics make him the perfect host for parasites....as long as they can withstand tremendous amounts of energy.

Powers: Improved Paradoxical Physiology- What was once a curse has been modified by an unknown force to make Akuma a useful paradox. He is immune to effects that effect Space, Time, or Reality itself. Trying to go back in time will bring him with you, trying to freeze time will not freeze him. Even portals or teleporters find it impossible to move him which is actually inconvenient as teleportation is a comin technology in his universe. Cosmic entities with reality warping power find it impossible to change even a hair on his head. The improvement allows him to ignore a single law of physics. He can create energy within himself which manifests as vibrational frequencies that continue to coalesce and grow in their magnitude. Sadly he cannot turn this effect off and without his suit he cannot utilize this energy.

Skills: Piloting spacecraft, Hand to hand combat, battle strategies, human medical experience, well versed in a variety of advanced technology, well educated in Biological, Chemical, and Physics based sciences. Excellent dancer with a knack for singing songs from the 70's, 80's, & 90s.

Background/History:
Akuma was not born rather he was made in an advanced alien laboratory. Cloned from long extinct human cells he is the first human to be seen in universe 357 since their going extinct 2.5 million years ago. His maker ,an alien named Xemnu, intended for him to be the solution to a growing problem called Malborg. You see in this universe humanity was lost sacrificing itself for the good of the rest of the universe. Akuma was happy to fulfill his purpose, but Xemnu was convinced that Akuma needed more than his natural abilities to acheive the goal at hand. As such he began vast amounts of experimental procedures in the hopes of making Akuma a worthy heroe to face down the galactic tyrant whose influence continued to grow.

The experiments did many things to him including causing him to die on two seperate occasions, a fate Xemnu quickly reversed both times. However the end result was Akuma becoming immunized to the laws of Physics. Seemingly a good thing...until it began to cause the universe to glitch out. Realizing the threat that it presented Xemnu decided it was best to destroy the cloned human and start over. However the process was less than perfect, he essentially just ejected the young man into a black hole and decided he was done with it.

It was a full fifty years before Akuma returned to universe 357. Yet he had changed dramatically. The scared young science experiment had returned a mighty champion of the stars and with a bone to pick with his creator. Yet when he met up with Xemnu and found his creator sheltering worlds worth of refugees and doing all he could to fight of Malborg and his now massive cosmic empire. So he set aside his own feelings and stood shoulder to shoulder with the man who created him and tried to destroy him. Together the two of them managed to sneak into the capitol ship of the dangerous Alien overlord and attempt an assassination.

Turns out Malborg was even scarier than he looked. Even their combined power couldn't face this being that shook worlds with its rage. Even Still Akuma stood his ground against this creature while Xemnu retreated and prepared their back up plan... A massive Antimatter bomb capable of leveling an entire solar system. During the fight Akuma broke his nose and several ribs but he nonetheless kept malborg from fleeing, going so far as to blow up the capitol ships engine and destroy all the remaining starfighters except for the one he stole. He initiated warp right as the weapon hit, unfortunately it didnt fully escape the annihilation and was crippled. Just as he was about to eject his ship fell into a reddish portal that just appeared in front of it...

Cosmic Angel Armor
The Armor designed by a transdimensional scientist and researcher. This suit can absorb the vibrational frequencies thay he generates and apply them to a variety of combat and non combat applications. From flight and energy projection to Force field generation and strength amplification. The non combat applications include deep scans, environmental adaptations, self repair, and wireless communication. Lastly it possesses an A.I named Gigas who helps consolidate the overwhelming information and give direction and mid battle calculations, it speaks with a nonchalant and bored tone, even sighing at times.

Akuma's creator, an alien scientist who has learned how to create life. He has made it his sole duty to protect and preserve life by any means. He escaped the battle with malborg and launched the antimatter bomb. He beleives Akuma to have died in the blast a hero just like the humans he was cloned from.

Akuma's Arch enemy a vicious monster machine who hates organic life and uses the resources of conquered worlds to fabricate endless hordes of ships with a.i's programmed to exterminate life. And smaller soldiers with advanced energy weapons. Luckily he is believed to have been killed along with most of his forces in the antimatter blast.

Appearance: Tanned skin, straight blonde hair down to their shoulders and a pair of ram's horns that grow from their forehead and curl behind their ears. Helrica has blue eyes and many tattoos. On each shoulder is a triskellion, the movement rune. under each eye is a diagonal line with three vertical ones beneath it, the rain rune. Each wrist is encircled with a jagged line, for water, while their left arm has intertwined snakes for their clan. Finally, on their back is an oroboros, rune of infinity. As for their clothes, they wear a blue chiton, a type of single-piece tunic tied at the waist. This is under a woolen cloak, tied at the shoulder with a bronze button that bears the movement rune. For their feet and legs they wear caligae, hob-nailed sandals over thick wool. When they fight, they wear a scale shirt of a red metal that does not sink in water. Most often, they wield a circular shield in their right hand, a spear in their left, while keeping a sword at their side and a sling in their belt.

Personality: Helrica is mercurial and contrary. At many times they will act impetuous and prideful, then immediately demur. Or they will act calm and reasonable, before bursting out into an accusatory tone. What is always a constant, though, is that this changing has some kind of a point. Most often they are acting rhetorically, in order to get under someone else's skin. Sometimes, however, they are just doing what they feel like. When they aren't acting turbulently, they mostly default to a sort of amiable calmness. Besides this, they are extremely wordy: a result of being part of a culture with extensive oral history, though they lack in technical terms. Probably more important than this is that they tend to regard things in terms of symbolism more than what is physically going on, a common feature when from a world where the symbolic really is more important than the physical.

Motivation: Helrica is out to help their people not only survive the conflict with the occupying Lunar Empire, but also to help their world survive the apocalyptic events it is a subset of. They want to learn any secrets that could aid in this, as well as any allies that could do so as well.

Abilities: Magic in glorantha is very commonplace: there is no one who lacks an aptitude for it.

Powers:

Rune Magic: Rune magic here refers to how magic in Glorantha works: a person's soul is comprised of Runes and these runes are empowered by worshiping a god that holds the same runes. Helrica is a worshiper of Heler, the rain god and goddess, whose runes are water and motion.

Movement: Helrica's power in the movement rune manifests as myriad powers, including: move through and over water, run on air, walk on clouds, make a barrier-shattering charge, change shape and summon cutting winds and lightning.

Water: Helrica's affinity with the water rune lets them call down various magical rains, summon and deal with gods and spirits of the rivers, lakes and clouds, breath in water, extinguish flames and ignore cold.

Infinity: Infinity has no particular practical use, but here denotes a state of consciousness called Illumination. This state takes many forms, but always includes an awareness of the cosmos as not being exactly "real" on some level, with elements of it held to be perceptual or otherwise illusionary. While it isn't a power as such, this heightened state does impact their personality.

Skills: Helrica is a shepherd by profession. But they are also a priest and diviner. They have also been part of a long-term guerrilla conflict and worked as an adventurer and mercenary, giving them skills in warfare and wilderness survival.

Background/History: Helrica is an Orlanthi, a collection of cultures unified mostly by their worship of the Storm Tribe, the pantheon headed by Orlanth the storm king and Ernalda the earth queen. They were born in Sartar, a small kingdom located at a crucial juncture, occupying the major route between the north and south of their home continent, Genertela. Sartar, at the time, was under occupation from the Lunar Empire and their formative years were greatly shaped by growing up during this. Their clan, the Blue Snakes and it's tribe the Torkani were resolutely hostile to the Lunars and from the moment they entered adulthood they were part of the ongoing revolt against the Lunars.

Often they would adventure with a group of their family: their sister, cousins and uncle. While a lot of what they did consisted of anti-lunar activities, they also did much that would be recognizable to adventurers of other realms: treasure-hunting, ruin-looting, monster-slaying, ect. Their time in their homeland came to an end after the Lunars chained Orlanth in the underworld, causing a year-long winter. While the Orlanthi were able to end the winter and deal a blow to the lunar occupation, by luring the provincial army into an ambush at the Auroch Hills, Orlanth remained chained and Helrica ended up leaving Sartar as part of an arranged marriage with an Esrolian Priestess.

During this time, much of their life outside of Sartar was spent as a mercenary in the southern city-states of Esrolia, during the civil war between the Old Earth Alliance and the Red Earth Alliance, the latter of which was aligned with the Lunar empire. It was here that they took part in the most important event of the war: the battle of Pennel Ford. In this battle, Orlanth was freed and the Lunar ambitions in the south shattered. Most importantly to Helrica, it was where they had a most inopportune meeting with Harrek the Berserk. Harrek was a Hero, who had skinned his own god and wore him as a cloak. This "meeting" occurred when Harrek, incensed at the betrayal of the right flank, charged through his own lines in a rage. Helrica had the misfortune to be standing ahead of him in said lines and barely escaped with their life and a deep, abiding fear of Harrek.

This, incidentally, lead them to leave Esrolia and head back to Sartar at the end of their arranged marriage. There they participated in the final phases of the Orlanthi revolt. Without a detailed knowledge of Orlanthi mythology and the state of Glorantha the actions and effects of this are difficult to describe. What is important, though, is that them and their family played a secondary, but significant part in the Dragonrise, the event that forced the Lunars out of Sartar and caused a widespread collapse among their southern frontier. This event was when the lunar provincial army and the lunar provincial aristocracy were christening the New Moon Temple that would extend not only the physical, but magical power of the empire over Sartar. This ceremony was interrupted by the aforementioned Dragonrise, which was incredibly literal: a massive dragon awoke beneath the city-sized temple and ate it, the Lunar Provincial Army and the Lunar Provincial leadership in three bites.

Other: They were not born with their ram horns, they're a divine gift.

Appearance: Victoria is an imposing 6'4", with a burly build and features to match her demeanor. She has black hair cut in a bob. Eyes dot just about every feature on her body, even her eye sockets share a second pair of eyes just under the first. Her skin is a gleaming white, but most of it is hidden under her outfit. She consistently wears the same sort of style of clothing: a poppy tee, reminiscent of the ancient era of the 1980's, a bullet-marked leather jacket, and skintight jeans, topped with a pair of military boots. Her irises are a solid azure, sitting is a pool of pitch black sclera. Most of the time, she hides her extra set of arms under her jacket, keeping them hidden at her sides, where only prying eyes would notice the other hands in her pockets.

Name: Victoria Kingsmill

Gender: Female

Home: Realm of Mind, Earth, Waste 453, Speed City

Species: Modified Human

Age: 34

Personality: Victoria is a brash, impatient, and entirely self-important person to the end, brushing off any shred of possibility that she might have to worry about taking care of others. She just wants to get back to her life of crime; killing, stealing, and completing contracts for money. There's no job too big, or task to dangerous for her, and her employers know it. Outside of her missions, she's rather docile, like a sleeping bear. While constantly armed and dangerous, she wants her downtime to be peaceful and relaxing, with her leisure mixed with some amount of training for her next mission. Victoria is always well prepared, given she has some amount of forethought beforehand, and is quick to adapt.

This was before she had Swallowtail in her hands.

Now, all of her brashness, impatience, and self importance has been slowly converted into more noble qualities, but still lurks and lashes out when she is put under pressure. She is more openly rude, mostly at her charge, and will do anything to protect her charge's life, even at the expense of her own, because truly deep inside, she has a death wish. To go out in a blaze of glory, and be remembered as a hero is her final wish, and she wants to end just like that. Young and alive, not like her grandmother.

Motivation: Victoria wishes to save her friend's body. Whether that means exorcising Swallowtail, or protecting her until she finds some other magical means of evicting herself, she's willing to do. Then, it's back to her usual business: killing people for large sums of money.

Abilities:Body Augs: Victoria has had extensive body modifications done to her over the course of several years in the business. These include, but are not limited to:
- Extra arms: Victoria has a set of arms that sprout just underneath her first set of shoulders. These arms are just as long as her first few, but are somewhat more thin and lithe, and end with a set of dagger-like fingers. They are articulated, but are terrible for fine motor skills.
- Reactive skin: Victoria's skin appears like albino snake scales, and when she is shot at, most bullets will stop dead on her. These are also resistant to sharp objects, but blunt force will still incur significant amount of damage, just as if she were a normal human.
- Extra eyes: Eyes dot most places on her body. The backs of her hands, her shoulders, forearms, collarbone, thighs, calves, neck, back of her head, and even dotting around her torso. She doesn't have all of them open at once, the human brain can only comprehend so much input at once. However, she can have up to three eyes open at once, useful for when she's in a firefight and needs to watch her back.
- Crocodile eyelids: Her eyes in their original sockets have a second set of see-through eyelids. This means she can get into hand to hand combat without worry of losing her primary source of vision she has been comfortable with for most of her life.

Anything further than this is too situational, quality of life upgrades, or are too non-important to mention. Having an immune system boost that stops the common illnesses without vaccine is something that Victoria has had done to her, but isn't something worth mentioning overall.

Background/History: For the sake of brevity, this is a simplified version of her story with all the non-important parts taken out.

Victoria is a mercenary at heart, and somewhat enjoys her job of taking missions, and doing anything to finish them. However, she has found that the same thrill she experiences each day seems to have diminished over time. Enter Mara, her long time friend, and active practitioner of magic. After a frantic call from somebody else using her number, she arrived at her friend's apartment, and blew the daylight out of the intruder in her place. Turns out, after 17 bullets to the chest, this person was still alive, and was also Mara, but not. After a brief introduction, she was introduced to her new charge, Swallowtail. Mara was stuck inside a mirror she enchanted to keep her soul within, in the case of a mishap summoning, like what just happened. Swallowtail was inhabiting her friend's body for the time being, and for now, she had to make sure that more bullets didn't get put into Swallowtail.

Now, she has to keep the demon alive at all costs, which while annoying, is something different for once.

Items: Victoria has a set of handguns custom made for her. These are all named, and can take just about any type of shell with some minor tinkering. These are named 1,3 and 4. Swallowtail has 2, and Victoria isn't willing to take it back after what she did to it.
She also has a copious amount of ammo on her body, for her guns. Most of them are hollow points, but she has some rubber rounds when Swallowtail complains to her about killing.
Victoria almost always has her favorite leather jacket, pocked with bullet holes. It was once weather resistant, but there's enough holes to make that obsolete.
She has her Seer always on her. A futuristic evolution of the modern day smartphone. It's an invisible, floating ball that floats alongside her. It hides itself in firefights, and can decloak itself and project a holo-screen for her. It's very useful, and also can store things inside of it. It has futuristic healing gel inside of it, but she doesn't really use that too much.
 
Appearance: Swallowtail is a dimunitive 5'2", with a thin frame to complement. She has a similar skin tone to her guardian, Victoria, but isn't a pure, paper white. Rather, it is merely pale. Her hair is a a lengthy paper white, with little red horns poking out just under her hairline. Her eyes are a solid crimson, with no irises whatsoever. It can be difficult to tell where she is looking, so she makes it a point to face who she is talking to so as not to confuse people, something Victoria pointed out to her. She shares Victoria's closet, but chooses some of the nicer stuff that Victoria has had sitting around for a while. Black dresses, skirts, and over the top outfits are what she enjoys, but whenever Victoria deems that Swallowtail can't be left alone, she wears the same 'uniform' Victoria does: graphic tee, loose jeans, and a much less damaged bomber jacket she chose because it was incredibly comfortable.

Age: Personality and appearance would say late 20's. Actual age is no more than 3 months, at most.

Personality: It is undeniable fact that Swallowtail is a demon. The red eyes, naturally white hair, and little horns prove it. However, she has proven time and time again that where she comes from, not all demons are demonic, embodying evil in all it's forms. Swallowtail is actually quite the opposite of that, in spite of everything. She believes in compassion and empathy for others, and acceptance of everyone no matter who they are. She has been mistakenly called a pacifist before, before reminding that just because she prefers not to fight, doesn't mean she won't. She feels deep grief upon taking the life of another, and tries every single possible route before she has to resort to violence to get what she absolutely needs. She is quick to correct others on their moral standings, and is very defensive upon being called out as a demon, as that title usually carries a negative connotation. "Oh, she's a demon, so she'll scoop our hearts out of our chests!" She does her best to be a charming, caring, and empathetic individual, without being seen as weak or childish, which she sometimes comes off as.

Motivation: Swallowtail simply seeks to make friends, and find a way to exorcise herself from the body she's inhabiting without killing it's original spirit, or herself.

Abilities: Swallowtailis a demon, and is able to do cool things that demons are able to do:
- Use magic: Swallowtail is a being made of pure dark magic, and is able to cast all manner of dark magic spells. These spells are the type whose only purpose is to harm or kill others. This doesn't mean that she actually understands all the implications and intricacies of her own magic, she's just casting from her 'gut'. Here are a few examples:

Hex Swarm: A swarm of red bat-like creatures tear a burning hole through reality and are bound to Swallowtail's will. They are simply red, fleshy orbs with leathery wings tipped with little claws. They're cute, asides from the manner of which they can be described as "eating." The 'hexlings', as Swallowtail has named them, slowly absorb things through their orblike body, actively speeding up the decomposition cycle of whatever they're eating, and then rolling themselves over it, absorbing the dead matter. However, this is purely only for feeding, which they must be instructed to do manually, otherwise they will die from starvation. Swallowtail has a nigh-infinite supply of Hex Swarms, but it takes a lot of energy and concentration to focus on ordering more than 30 or so. She keeps one about her, and she calls it Hexie. Despite her keeping it as a pet, it doesn't seem to display emotion.

Death Miasma: Swallowtail takes a big, deep breath, and exhales a purple from her eyes and mouth. This is... A few things. Usually, incredibly painful. Skin starts peeling as the epidermal layers slough away, tissue wall by tissue wall. This is unpleasant to look at, and moreso to experience. A few people come out looking like acid attack victims or worse. Otherwise, you get a series of lacerations wherever contact occurs, as if a great bunch of rotary blades just raked themselves across the body of the victim over and over again, until they leave, or die. Both are bad. It just depends how you like your apple. Sliced or peeled? Not to mention, that this comes out of Swallowtail, who experiences this from her eyes and mouth. She doesn't do this often, as it leaves her skin raw, and lets a steady stream of neon flow from her eyes and mouth. She can do this though, because of her ability below.

Hateflame: Standard, run of the mill, magical flame. Swallowtail uses magic that isn't summoning or mist? It's hateflame. It's purple, and it burns on touch. Swallowtail conjures it, unlike the miasma, which she generates from within herself. Hateflame will burn longer the angrier and more rage-filled it's target is. Oddly, despite it's name and origin, hateflame is useful for mitigating civilian casualties, actually, since it'll put itself out relatively quickly if a person is more fearful for their lives than angry at whatever might be assaulting them.


Demonform: When Swallowtail gets especially angry, a rare feat, her magic begins to manifest physically. Her arms and body begin to grow in size and strength, spikes dotting her forearms and elbows. Her hateflame begins to erupt on her body, burning her, but also those around her. She gets faster, stronger, more reckless, and less range focused. Her goal is to rip up anybody that drove her to imbue her body to this form. This doesn't last long, and she usually passes out shortly after. Her body usually shrinks, but the spikes on her knees, shoulders, elbows, and fingers need to be sawn or cut off so she can seem normal-ish.

Snuff: Swallowtail can see life force. The soul, the spirit of a person, she can see in a person, wherever it resides. The heart, the head, the stomach, the dominant hand. When it flickers, and it's time is short, she can extinguish that flame. This is a painless death, where the victim feels nothing. She doesn't do this often, she feels killing is wrong no matter the reason, but when a fate worse than death awaits, she is there to tell you that your spirit wavers, and she can grant release.

- Regenerate. Swallowtail can regenerate small wounds over time, and large wounds that leave her gaping can be sustained, where others would have died. This doesn't always mean she can handle the pain, or that a wound is "fixable." It does however, mean that over time, her body will push bullets out of her flesh, or seal scrapes, and on occasion, stop the bleeding from a big hole in her stomach from killing her outright, leaving her to pass out from the pain instead of dying from shock. Not having the various organs that were once in the spot the hole was, will in fact, kill her if she isn't given magical or medical help.

Skills: Swallowtail is a mere 2-3 months old, and doesn't know as much as other people her physical age do. She has spent those 2-3 months with a mercenary, and knows much more than people her physical age should.

Background/History: Again, for the sake of brevity, this too will be shortened.

Swallowtail was created in the Black Pits, dark energies coalescing to create another nameless demon. Immediately after being born, she was found sucked into a magical spell, pulling her from her place in the magical Everflow and into the body of one particular Mara P. Wilson. After some misunderstanding on the type of demon she was, and plenty of frustrated yelling, the demon got to meet the person she was possessing. A true, heartfelt conversation culminated in her name: Swallowtail, the name Mara would've given to her firstborn. After some instruction to "get some help from somebody who more than owes me", Swallowtail called a particular number. After some initially confused and panicked yelling from the other side of the line, the door to the apartment she was summoned in burst open, and she felt searing pain all over her body.

Some more confusion and screaming, and she felt the pain begin to fade away, a plink-plink-plinking noise sounding on the wooden floor as the bullets were pushed out of her body. Now, the woman who shot her over and over, Victoria, is her stoic protector, and with the guidance of Mara, she plans to help exorcise herself and find her way in the world around her.

Items: Swallowtail always has her companion and best friend Hexie, her little hexling. Hexie is a magical creature described in the magical examples provided above. She also has 2, a handgun given to her by Victoria, before Swallowtail shifted and changed in her hands to fit her demonic nature without knowing. It's very pointy, and for some reason, Victoria doesn't want it back. She has enough ammo to refill the gun 3 times, and can charge the gun to be a proper magical focus, imbuing it with Hateflame.

Other: Swallowtail's nickname, and something she will be called more often, is Red, due to her solid red eyes. This is because Victoria has no patience to say "Swallowtail" each time she needs to get the demon's attention, and "Girl" was very swiftly rejected by Mara.

Annika, unlike your typical, everyday human, looks tired. All the time. The sharp bags under her eyes seem to persist no matter how much sleep she allows herself, and her vacant stare might suggest that she wishes for a more permanent solution. A wound is clearly visible on her face, a very destructive Glasgow grin, where her cheeks were stitched back together as if they were sliced open, from the edges of her lips to the back of her mouth. Unpleasant stuff aside, her hair is short, and barely reaches her shoulders. As such, they don't really do much to hide the metal bar of electronic ports at the back of her neck. She wears a lot of concealing clothing: hoods, masks, shawls, pants, the like. It's nothing special, but it hides her identity well enough. Lastly, you might find a loose backpack on her at all times, gun strapped onto the side of the pack, brimming full of supplies.

Personality: Surprisingly, this section, due to Annika's life choices, will be very, very sparse, as she purposefully chooses not to have any emotion, and therefore, personality.

How can we describe her? She's cold, very cold. Nearly robotic even, gauging things through direct cause and effect, not truly considering people as people, but other variables in the equation of a kill. She appears to be entirely calculating, and doesn't consider the things she says with other people in mind, coming off as brutally honest, cruel, or downright mean. However, she is incredibly true to her word, going through great lengths to accomplish what she set herself out to do, again, without regard for anything else asides completing her task. She will always go for what she believes is the most effective solution, every single time. In short, you do not want to get on her bad side, if you can even detect that from her.

Motivation: Annika is insistent on fulfilling her contracts, that's why she's hired so often. Her contract this week? A hit from a good buyer for a particular "Swallowtail Kingsmill", and anybody that gets in her way. Otherwise? Try and ignore her past.

Background/History: Annika was once a normal person. She had a normal job, with normal pay, and normal housing in the city. It was peaceful, until she found herself with a gun in her hands, and a co-worker's body strewn across their desk. It was when she dug too deeply into her job, and found that it was a front for a front that led to one sinister smile, she was thrust into a position that only dealt in death. She could only escape it with her own, and she relished every second of it. Blood pumped to her skull as she was chained up and brought to the next mission, thrust a rifle into her hands, and told to get to work, or else the bomb-collar would fire her in the next hour. The thrill was nigh incomparable to anything else she has ever done, and when she approached her captors and told them that she wished to be in the business, their eyebrows shot up in surprise. A useful asset, realising it's own worth? She signed a few documents dealing in secrecy and assurances in identity, or lack thereof, and she was a mercenary. An assassin for hire. A girl with a gun, and no real name.

Things were... Peaceful. Her normal became dangerous, but she enjoyed it. She had a odd job, with an inordinate pay, with a smattering of hideouts all over the city. She had a bounty board where she was sent various bounties from the Speed City underground from all sorts of buyers and corporations, all of them unnamed, but she could always guess who it was from the targets. Businessman? Hacker, or corp. Politician? Another politician. Civ? Another civ. It was simple. Then, she got a hit for somebody she faintly remembered. Drake Applefield. He was a nice guy, grew up somewhere in the suburbs with her. Polite, into sports, and was the star of the Hyperball team. A politician. She tried to take him out of her mind, but when the night came and she was perched on the rooftop with a small team of sponsor-bots, she couldn't put the bullet into his skull. His smile, his charm, the memories of the friendship they shared. Then, a bomb. The bots apparently had a timer in case she didn't pull the trigger quickly enough for their tastes. A few gunshots silenced the machines, and she leapt through the glass ceiling, falling from the sky like an angel of death. She found Drake under rubble, and he instantly recognized her. The first words out of his mouth weren't of fear or anger, but of worry. "Are you alright?"

It was Annika that brought him to one of her hideouts to personally heal him, and tell him of her contract to kill him, which she declined. The air was tenuous, but was broken when he laughed. Not nervously, but genuinely laughed. He said that she could've just asked him out instead of knocking a wall onto him. From then on, they were regular lovers. Meeting between missions and speeches for coffee. Annika gave her watchful eye to his late night rallies to ensure that no other mercenaries were out for him, and he gave her his contacts and resources to find her marks much easier. They were allies, and they were in love. She had just moved in with him to his penthouse, when she found that when she arrived with all her things, a body was found on the bed, along with a man and a note. The man beat her within an inch of her life, slicing a blade through her cheeks when she stubbornly refused to say anything to him. When he had his torture-seer cheaply stitch it back together, they left her with the body of the one person she loved. The note was written by Drake, and it gave a warning. Get back to work, or you'll get the collar again. Annika broke. The only other thing that gave her excitement in her life, was killed by her job. Going after the people who killed Drake wasn't an option, and trying to go back to normal life only meant the same fate. She chose a third option, since death was a close fourth.

The drug Exuberance was a cocktail of neurotransmitters meant to enhance emotion. All emotion. Pain, fear, happiness, sadness, anger. Every emotion could be felt all at once with Exuberance, but a side effect of taking too much at once was overloading neuroreceptors, making somebody unable to feel emotion. This, Annika knew, and did on purpose. She had a port installed into the base of her neck so she could more easily have these injected directly into her brain for the maximum effect, and made frequent 'checkups' to eliminate any and all emotion whenever they started to resurface every month or so. Annika became a machine, a cog in the murder and intrigue machine, emotionless and without qualm to killing whomever she was instructed to.

Items:
Drake: A long rifle with all the bells, whistles, sightpiece uplinks, and mag chambers the future could buy. At one point, it was a form of laser rifle, the PC-1228, or the "Prism Cannon". It was known for it's destructive rounds not producing any kick, unlike leadspitters, and that the lasers themselves could easily pierce through heavy infantry armor and slice through most types of heavy tank. The wound is immediately cauterised, but there is almost always an exit hole whenever there's an entry hole.
Of course, that was before it was modified. She hasn't really done much for the actual killing power for the weapon, but rather has changed the utility of the weapon itself to be far more than a designated marksman rifle. She has personally modded it to do the following things:
- She can dissemble it to cut through most material like a lascutter.
- She can swap the focus crystal inside the gun's chamber to fire a cone of deadly, yet less penetrating, lasers, like a much more precise shotgun.
- She can shift the position of the focus crystal within the gun's chamber to allow for a rapid-fire barrage of again, less penetrating, but nonetheless deadly lasers.
- She can remove the laser generating laser within the gun for a very expensive flashlight.
- She can do a few other things that are unremarkable, such as change the modular pieces of the weapon around for better use during very specific situations, such as being underwater, in a storm, in a sandstorm, a stabalizer for an earthquake. She even has a mount specifically meant to be seated on the shoulder of an ally, to name a few.
To note, the rifle's name is scratched upon the surface of the rifle, just right on the iron sights. It's also not in her handwriting.

FS-1127: It's a pistol that shoots lasers. It's not as modular as Drake is, but it's a pistol for when she needs a pistol.

She also has a duffle filled with all the ammo, drugs, supply, and food she would need for a week-long excursion.

Other: Annika is at the end of the month considering her normal check-up, and her emotions are slowly trickling back to her.

Planet Hydros
Description: Hydros is an ocean pkanet which is unfathomably deep. Once made up of solid ice it now has a core of permafrost roughly the size of pluto which also acts as the deepest sea floor. Floating stone islands drift around the planets surface home to the land based and primitive terrainians. However the ocean itself is well over 7,500 miles deep and within those depths dwell the true masters of the world the hydronauts. Certain points on the planet refract the coming blue suns light into incredibly hot spheres up to ten miles wide which burn like tiny suns in the water causing the atmosphere and climate to stabalize. These hotspots are beginning to shrink however as the atmosphere grows.

Technological/Magical Capabilities: Hydronauts have relatively low technology using armor and medieval weapons. However they do possess terrifying physical attributes in direct corolation with the depth at which they live. The ones who live in the shollowest waters on the surface are the sunswimmers. They are mostly the young and non combatants. Further below we find the Bluedwellers. Here the pressures harden the body and the abundance of predators and prey make it a perfect training ground and a place where strong hydronauts can grow. Finally in the depths are the Deepfolk. Their bodies are hardened like diamonds by the immense pressure, their senses are honed to perfection by the pitch black depths, and the leviatians that call that realm home offer the greatest challenge this world has to offer. Below even this lie hidden tunnels that lead into the Icy core of the world when the gods were said to once dwell.

Government: The entire oceans of planet hydros were once ruled by the ancestor race of both the Hydronauts & the Terrainians. A hyper advanced civilization which survived the extinction of their own species. They were called the old gods by the hydronauts and rarely interfered with the world but were beleived by dogma to be responsible for the tides, storms, beasts, and seaquakes.

While many still hold to the religious tenants now things have changed with Tidus now sitting in the frozen fortress of the old gods ruling on high the government has largely become lawless. The greatest that one can hope for is to make it to the icy fortress where they will live in luxary for the rest of their days. However this trek is so dangerous and arduous that only the strongest of Hydronauts make it. Keeping the icy palace occupied by a mighty elite minority who are strong enough that none can oppose them within their oceanic home.

Motivation: To flood the earth and claim it as an outpost world of the Hydronaut people.

Religion: the vast majority of Hydronauts beleive in their old gods the creators of their kind who control the ocean planet. Those who dwell within the planets icy core fortress know better however and have a religion based upon might being right. Many deepfolk have adopted the belief's of the core dwellers as well.

Species Appearance: Hydronauts come in a variety of shapes and sizes but their environment directly effects how they look. The sunswimmers are colorful and have long fins and bright frills but are nontheless humaniod and with webbing between their fingers and toes made more effevtive by having long wide hands and feet. The Bluedwellers tend to have less beautiful fins and often grow thicker scales and skeletons less frills and colors allow them to blend in and harder fins can be used as natural weapons. The deep folk are the most different. Between 150% to 200% the size of the others they grow from 10 to 12 ft tall and possess shades of black and grey in their thick boney scales. Their fingers and tpes end in armored fins and claws. Poisonous barbs adorb their arms and back and their powerful jaws can crush diamonds into powder. Unlike the other Deepfolk are capable of leaving the depths and venturing all the way to tue surface. They are by far the hardiest and most dangerous of the Hydronauts.

Species Abilities:
Adaptive Evolution- Hydronauts slowly adapt to their environments to the point where some who were born in the surface may end their lives as deepfolk. They also show ability to adapt beyond their ocean environment as the terrainians are Sunswimmers wgo went up rather than down.

Biologically immortal- Hydronauts do not age beyond adulthood. They cintinue to live until some thing ends their lives. Some of the deepfolk are well over 2000 years old. With the oldest being 2789yrs old.

Society: Hydronauts society is relatively new to the world of Hydros. They have a wide range of social systems usually based on their depth. The sunswimmers collect jewelry from the scales of pretty fish and build floating coral homes. They barter and trade these jewels to gain more chunks of coral from deeper waters. The Bluedwellers are mostly food gatherers for the others as the most amount of fish are found in the Blue. They also act as guards keeping unprepared Sun swimmers for going to deep and bringing information from the surface to the Deepfolk who skirt the tops of the abyss. The Deepfolk are the guardians of the core and the hunters of the archenemies of the Hydronauts, The leviathans. They hunt massive monstrosities, and tend the valuable resources on the sea floor. From the Titancrabs thick shells used for armor, to the Dead coral bits that are broken off and float to the surface. When things from higher in the sea die they are often weighted and dropped to the deepfolk who also serve as the caretakers of the dead.

Needs: Hydronauts require large amounts of water but very little food. They can survive on the surface but prolonged exposure can remove their ability to return to the water as happened with he terrainians. However the deeper they come from the longer such a process takes.

History:
Roughly 12,000 years ago the planet hydros was a massive snowball populated by the Critarine. That was until a massive megnetic meteor storm bombarded the planet causing all except for those who had burrowed to the core to die. The magnetically charged meteors cause the planet to gain a magnetic field and eventually start rotating. This resulted in the vast majority of the ice melting. Then the radioactivity from the impacts caused rapid mutations in microbial life eventually resulting in the creation of the Hydronauts. They spread like wildfire through the planets oceans and even a few climbed onto the floating magnetic rocks that were once the asteriods.

The surviving Critarine watched with curious wonder as this developed. Eventually contact was made with them and their advanced technology made the Hydronauts revere them as gods, a mistake the pride of the Critarine would not allow them to correct. Eventually this became a problem as dogma grew and the Critarine were thought responsible for all manner of issue. Eventually this came to an end with the remaining Critarine population as A disgruntled deepfolk led a small army to invade the icy fortress that was the worlds core.

The Critarine became extinct as the Deepfolk proved vastly physically superior and their leaders weapon disrupted their communications and technology in general. Eventually those deepfolk moved into the core and have since evolved to deal with the massive pressure, magnetism, and radiation, becoming some of the most powerful hydronauts to ever live. Since then they have conquered the other three layers of the sea with the only exception being the Terrainians floatong islands. As the new masters of Hydros they have big planes for their world starting With the appropreation of the Critarine technology and the spreading of their people into the cosmos.

Personality: Tidus is a warrior at heart, one who has given in to the primal emotion, bloodlust, and savagry at the heart of all Hydronauts. He is a cruel and monstrous being willing to crush all who stand before them. With the exception of children. His memories of his time as a father make it hard for him to target the young. However he is a ruthless king willing to perforate all that pose a threat to him and what he hopes to build.

Motivation: To expand his kingdom and claim the seas as his, then flood the whole earth so that all land is covered by ocean. Then he will by default own everything.

Abilities:
Adaptive evolution- the longer Tidus remains on the land the more his body adapts to being able to do so. As his body adapts he will grow stronger and more survivable. However the same is true for his return to the sea.

Deepfolk Physiology- tidus possesses an additional layer of natural armor beneath his Meteor armor. His scales are as hard as diamonds and able to absorb shock and resist temperature changes. It is very highly resistant to impact as is needed to deal with the crushing blows of the deep sea leviathans. These incredibly durable muscle fibes allow feats of massive strength. From deflecting thousand ton monstrosities, to piercing the highly advanced armor of the Critarine. These are all relatively common for the Deepfolk Hydronauts.


Powers:
Godslayer Trident- When Titus first encountered the Critarine he smashed their explorational vessel collecting from it the metal and seemingly gemlike stone he embedded into it. This stone was actually an energy thought interface and the reddish metal was the caseing from the antimatter core that fueled the ship. He took this "kill" to the hotspots and forged the metal into a trident embedding the thought energy interface into the trident. The endresult was a trident with the ability to absorb and manipulate a variety of energy types from electrical, to thermal, and even luminal (lasers n stuff.)

Meteor armor- the suit of armor was forged from the same metal as his spear and is very resistant to energy, radiation, and moderatly resistant to physical damage though that is less needed due to his natural armor.

Skills:
Trident- it hase been nearly 700 years since thr trident was forged and sunken into the flesh of the false gods. Yet tidus has not neglected his skill. On the contrary he must defend his title from the mightiest of deepfolk who dwell with him in the ice fortress core who regularly challenge him for his crown. And being within the core protects them from Leviathans, but for that very reason he frequently leaves the fortress to hone his skills against the largest Creatures he can find.

Master of the Five paths- Tooth. Claw. Fin. Weapon. Area. These are the five paths of combat tought to hydronauts for self defense and survival. Each is accompanied by its own martial art. Tidua has mastered all five though he tends to favor Weapon and Area. He is skilled fighting with hand to hand using his claws, teeth, and poisoned fins. He can use his environment to his advantage turning rocks, obstacles, and environmental hazards against his opponent. And he is very skilled in the usage of weapons.

Dark wisdom- Tidus has lived long and seen many things. He has interacted with many beings and many species. He is very good at uncovering motifs and reading body language.


Background/History:
Born near the surface to Amora and Shinquai of the silver scales the young Sunswimmer Known as Tidus would spend most of his childhood staring into the depths wondering what adventures and mysteries waited for him there. He was a devout beleiver in the gods and always dreamed of one day meeting them in their icy fortress and learning all he could from them. It was this same dream and his lust for wonderpus adventure that carried him into the Blue at the young age of 110 years old.

Being one of the youngest members of the Bluedwellers hunting parties had its pros and cons. Firstly he was inexperience and still easily surprised and naive. However he was also the one who was the most physically attractive among the males down there which caused many she hunters to become smitten with him. However he had his eyes on the one who seemed to not know he even existed. One of the Bluedwellers lower edge guards named Faolir.

He struggled to the top of the hunting parties taking more risks, felling more and more impressive prey. For nearly five centuries he honed his skills in actual combat before he got Faolir's attention by challenging her both for the right to be her mate and the right to push into the Depths of the Deepfolk. After a struggle that lasted mearly three days he felled the maiden hunter and became her loving bondmate. They spent a year together on the edge of the Abyss before she left to the surface to raise their clutch and he went to the depths below to continue the pursuit of his dreams now carrying with him his Bondmates birth symbol.

He spent three more centuries dwelling in the depths, heading to the surface at least once a month to visit his family amd bring them gifts. In this time he grew remarkably strong. Even amongst the other deepfolk he was considered a prime example of an alpha hunter. He gave thanks to the gods daily for their blessing him with his family. His beautiful bondmate and his two dozen children brought him endless jou and he had the gods to thank for that for they controlled all things. So when his family was lost it was they who held the blame in his heart.

A freak storm caused by a new meteorite introducing more magnetism washed over the floating coral city of Zeg. The very same city Tidus's family dwelt. The sheer amount of lightining strikes that hit the surface boiled the water and electrified thousands of Hydronauts essentially cooking them to death in their own homes. Not a single one of his children survived. Yet he was faithful, he had hope that surely the gods would reward him his devout faith if he could simply get to them.

He returned to the depths swimming the edge of the icy core banging upon it hoping to find the secret opening spoken of in myth. For nearly three years he searched only pausing to hunt for food. Finally he saw the ice opening and he thought his prayers to be dinally answered. But instead he was nearly run over by the strange metal sphere the gods rose up in. That was the last straw, he knew then that his gods had forsaken him. For several hours he wept bitterly until he felt the ice opening again and could feel the metalic sphere descending back into the fortress.

Teeth gritted in rage he kicked off the ice core like a bullet flying through the water at the sphere. As he touched it electricity surged through him but he had gotten close enough that the light from the current passing through him revealed the figures within. Seeing their face fed his rage and rather than let go he watched as their faces contorted in horror while he slammed his spear into the glass over and over again. When the glass gave the pressure crushed the so called gods to death and reduced their metal sphere to scrap.

They were no gods, all at once his agony, his feeling of betrayal, and his rage seemed to blend into a cold rational apathetic fury. The false gods had sat taking the adoration of his people for granted. While the Hydronauts struggled against monsters and storms the gods sat in their fortress ignoring their prayers. He ventured to one of the hotspots with the wreckage of the sphere ship. From the ship he forged his Trident and armor, engraving his dead Bondmates symbol on his chest. He went on a path of detruction tearing through the Alpha's of the individual hunting parties of the deepfolk building a massive war band.

He lead this warband to the icy fortress where he showed them first hand the corpses of the false gods. He incited a riot and together the deepfolk pried the doors open and massacred the remaining Critarine driving the native owners of the planet to extinction. Afterwards he took the place of the gods, claiming the entire planet of hydros as his own and promisong to be a better god than the indofferent gods of old. Many have attempted to dethrone this godking, only to have their skeletons adorn his throne. The discovery of strange reddish portals in his world have become a fear stirring phenomenon. Which he has personally decoded to investigate, after all real gods dont just watch they act.

Personality: Chroma is a arrogant and prideful being who finds many things and people to be beneath him. He is annoyingly witty and very crafty when it comes to insults and situational strategy. He hates weak foes who he deems to be a waste of time and even seems to be disdainful of the 5 shinobi who fuse to make him, claiming them to be weak. He is selfish and quite apathetic towards the plight of others, but above all else he hates beings that commit evil acts. This is what drives him to be a hero, that and the fact that he spawns in the ridiculous attire that only being a hero could excuse.

Motivation: Though he will never admit it Chroma actually seeks to make the 5 shinobi who make him more powerful. Mainly because it will make him more powerful but partly because he has actually come to like the five which is why he will never admit it.

Abilities: Fused Lazarite- A fused lazarite is what happens when 5 human souls merge, a stabalizing agent is introduced during the process, that agent being the soul of a dead Human, usually one tied to the ritual in some way. The process combines the base mental and physical attributes, memories, skills, Chi, and abilities of the 5 humans and grants conscious control of it to the 6th soul introduced as the catalyst. As a result even the weakest of Fused lazarites possess superhuman traits including expanded memory, heightened intellect, enhanced reflexes,strength, speed, durability, and rate of healing equal to 5 times the rate of a normal human. However Chroma is quite strong for a fused Lazarite ranking in the top 5 behind his brother, father, and a few dark spirits. As a result of him being the fusion of 5 superhumans his stats are considerably higher than a normal Fused lazarite.


Powers:
Enhanced Chi manipulation- the 5 shinobi who fuse into Chroma are all respective masters of Chi with high levels of the mystical energy in their own right. Chroma as a result has a massive Reserve of Chi and can channel it into a variety of techniques such as energy balls, minor healing, enhancement of self, empowered strikes, flight, water/wall walking and various other fabled ninja techniques.

The 5 Chromatic arts- Martial arts and chi techniques focused on different colors which represent aspects of Chi. Red is the Color of Strength and grants the one who masters it superhuman strength of a high degree. Yellow is ths Color of Endurance, and grants the user superhuman durability and stamina to the point of being bulletproof. Blue is the color of Swiftness, it grants the user superhuman speed that trancends sound. Purple is the Color of the mind and grants the user psychic powers in addition to their chi. Green is the power of nature and grants the user control of natures flora and fauna. Chroma is able to use all 5 together stringing together combos that overwhelm and devestate most foes.

Background/History: Chroma was born thousands of years in the past of the Golden Age Universe. During a time when Egypt sat in a lush jungle, the sahara was Green, and the pyramids of china stood tall. He was never very impressive on his own however, he was a prankster and a trickster however his brother was impressive. His brother Prysma was the first man to discover Chi. Prysma created 5 different styles and arts, which chroma dabbled in but didnt bother to study intently.

Sadly this became his demise as his brother and he were forced into a confrontation with Mundus the Wicked Thunder Deity. The lack of training made chroma a insufficient ally and the two brothers perished. Though they struck down mundus with their final breath. Chroma spent thousands of years in the afterlife with his brother, but again shirked his training instead opting for trickery and magic. He snuck the ritual for fusion into the scroll his brother left behind using magic to possess a human. However his plan backfired as the human he possessed used his will to alter the ritual.

For thousands of years he watched as his brother was summoned to earth rather than himself. Furthermore his antics had angered the Wardens of the afterlife and he was permanantly stripped of magic. Yet his brother did something strnge the last time he was summoned by the fusion. He left the 5 who made him with instructions to find 5 specific orphan children. Souls he had marked with magic of his own long ago and prepared for this very moment. The followered of the tempke of the 5 arts did as he asked and raised the children along the pash of the 5 arts each one mastering a different art. When the time came for them to face a great evil that required fusion to defeat, it was Chroma who was summoned rather than Prysma. It had seemed his brother had made an even better fusion art than he had, because the fusion he made was able to last forever and be dispelled by him and reactivated by the 5 at any time.

Chroma decided he would use his new shot at life to finally overshadow his brother and become someone the entire world would know. As such he Joined the hero group known as the guardians becoming one of the primary fighters in the civil war the group had, and surviving to carry on with the new guardians as one of the strongest and most versatile heroes in the guardians roster. Even still many hate to work with him and he has one of the worst reputations for things like collateral damage and public relations. However he Vanished about a week ago from the Golden Age universe and all communication has been lost.

wormholes/space-time rip: baloren is capable of making rips in space-time to generate 2-way worms holes while stuff can be transported through them IT IS NOT ADVISABLEas baloren is unable to always get them to go to the right place, more often then not they lead to inside his body, resulting in strange tendril coming out of the portal dragging stuff into it and thus into his body, other times they lead to just not the right place at all. while he can use them himself without issues for some reason he never ever does

cosmic creation: baloren is capable of changing is mass into anything, it's a direct 1-1 conversion rate meaning-making large amounts of anything is something he can't do the stuff created can be considered unstable after about an hour there is a 70% chance the created object will explode or burst into light rarely do these things remain stable

Description: Speed City is set in the Earth's future, after a nuclear mistake scarred much of her surface. Speed City was one of the coastline cities that wasn't hit with an H-bomb, and as such, grew to astonishing proportions. Growing outwardly wasn't an option, so growing upwards was where civilization went. Plastic hovercars and flightbikes polluted the skies like flies around the constantly festering construction season of the city. Bright ads flashed across holoscreens, and those in the highest echelons of society lived at the very tops of these spires, reveling in their wealth while those less fortunate to be born into eternal opulence scraped what was left at the floor.

Gangs rule the dregs of the city, some even living past the limits in the patches 'safe' from nuclear fallout. The Niners are a group of 999 robots of varying quality, all with the same man's personality. Nox Corp is a household medicinal brand, whose branding is found on a surprising amount of grisly murder cases where the culprit was more often than not determined to be an animal. The Purifiers are a group of magic users from a different dimension who sought refuge from the atrocities of their own world, and see this world as 'impure', due to it's lack of magic and excess of machine. They are a fractured group, and how they seek to purify this realm is understood differently by each splinter. Finally, Charnel & Co. is a group of revolutionaries, mercenaries, and anarchists who want nothing more to see the city burn. Formerly the city's biggest mining company, Montgomery Charnel found something in the desert that changed him from a humble miner to a ragged gang leader. These factions are subtle, and yet overt with their schemes, and they are felt all across the city. Mercenaries are free agents for these factions, each competing for their own clandestine agendas.

Technological/Magical Capabilities: The technology of Speed City and her subsectors range from old world lead sluggers to high tech lasers capable of burning holes through metal. Seers are floating balls with an array of cameras and sensors to cloak themselves from the environment. Hover tech is something as common as wheels are today, and the Ivory Tower, the peacekeeping force of Speed City, are fitted with the most advanced tech they could possibly buy. There is absolutely no magic in Speed City, save for the population of Purifyers from another world, another realm. They have a wide range of magic that interacts differently with all sorts of technology, but to a certain degree, some experimental Noxcorp tech borders on magic. Nanotechnology has revolutionized the medical industry greatly in many directions, most commercially with "Quik-Change" stations, varying from vending machines and coffee shops to entire hospitals. People can buy a cheap bodymod from a vending machine for an extra eye, go to a walk-in for recreational administrations of drugs or somewhat alter their appearance, and spaces to enjoy them in. Large QC facilities can entirely change your biology, making you more than human to begin with.

Government: Speed City is a city-state government with a republic system in place. The law enforcement and law creation branches are technically two seperate entities, the Ivory Tower with their law keeping paladins and knights, and the stringent Academy with their preceptors and hieromancers. Citizens vote on representatives, who then vote on important topics and such, much like the modern U.S. government.

Lee is a tall and thin young man standing in at 6ft 3 in and weighing in at a mere 179lbs. He has curly hair that has a sheen and body that is very desireable. He always seems to have a pained expression on his face, even when smiling.

Name: Lee Sauchin

Species: Human/Angel/Demon/Werewolf Hybrid.

Personality: Lee is a young man who can best be described as lost. He mourns the rigid destiny his life has cast upon him and does everything in his power to change his destiny only to grow more frustrated when he finds himself unable to escape his place in the world. He thinks very little of himself constantly rueing the fact that he was born into a magical family only to be the weakest of them all. He doesnt see himself as normal, yet he also does not see himself as superior. In fact he is convinced of his own inferiority and has a hard time seeing his strengths through his weaknesses. He wants nothing more than to be the captain of his own sea's, yet the waves of life cause him to be perpetually capsized. Due to this he had a rather severe drinking problem, and a far more severe gambling problem. Both of which have come back to bite him more than once.

Motivation: Lee wants to Live, not just to survive but to make his own decisions and mistakes. He is constantly fleeing from those who would have him face his destiny.

Abilities:
Sauchin family- The Sauchin family is a clan of humans in the Dark earth who have the blood of Angels flowing in their veins. This manifests itself as a strong resistance to infernal/Demonic/or Evil magic's and the ability to manifest The Divine attributes of Angels in the form of Spells. Though the Sauchin family is said to have 12 seperate spell arts each possessing 3 levels of power. Lee has only trained in 3 and has technically mastered none. The ones he has are as follows.

Angel's Wings- Lv.1- Lee can summon a pair of 3ft wide energy wings on his back. These wings amplify his movement speed by 5x and grant him a slowed rate of falling, gliding abilities, and enhanced agility due to the wings cutting his weight in half.

Divine weapon-Sacred Fist-Lv.1- All Sauchin family members manifest one weapon that is bonded to the soul of the one who manifests it. While these weapons vary from person to person there are catagories such as spear, sword, or Bow. Lee is the first to manifest the Sacred fist in over 900 years. This divine weapon charges his fists with a holy light that allows lee to strike a foes body and soul simultaneously. The blows can shatter stone and dent steel, however against evil foes this damage is doubled and against darkness type creatures it is also doubled, an evil demon will suffer both multipliers for a total of x4 damage.

Angels Halo-Lv.1- Lee can cast a halo around himself which boosts his magical resistance and spawns a energy barrier that protects him from weak attacks. This can also be cast on others to grant them the same effects. The halo will protect the user until sufficient power to break it is applied.


Powers:
Infernal monsterization- Due to his wife to be, lee has been afflicted with the curse of Lycanthropy. As if this wasnt bad enough she went and infused the virus with demonic energy resulting in a mutated version of lycanthropy unique to lee's condition. This werewolf form of his is very powerful but not without its pwn weaknesses. First and foremost it has no weakness to silver, magic, or holy items. Furthermore it does not require moonlight to engage the transformation instead requiring Lee to Actually Die or at least come close to it for it to occur. As for the strengths of the creature. It dwarves even alpha lycans in raw strength having displayed enough raw muscle to create thunderclaps with backhands and shatter enchanted weapons and armor its skin is similar to steel in both hardness and texture. Its healing factor is so fast That broken bones and severed limbs regrow in mere seconds. It possesses vast magical & physical resistances to damage and its claws and teeth count as magical weapons whereas its fists are mundane weapons. Lastly the creature has several surprise infernal powers such as hellfire breath, the ability to shed its needle like fur and launch them, the Ability instill fear in weak minds with its pressence alone, and lastky tge ability to smell wicked souls which are its primary prey. However it has several weaknesses as well. The form only lasts for 3 minutes before the strain on Lee's body causes a massive cardiac arrest that kills the beast replacing it with Lee's true human form. Also due to a severely lowered iq and no psychic defenses it is very vulnerable to mental attacks and trickery.

Background/History: Lee's past is a very hard one, or a very lucky one depending on your perspective. He was born into the Sauchin family of Monster hunters. A clan of Angel blood using mage warriors who defended earth from demons and the creatures that go bump in the night. Whats more he was born with the Crecent moon mark stating that he would be destined to bring their families long fight to an end. Due to this lee was never alotted the freedom and innocence of a child. He was raised on a strict schedule and educated on the horrors that hide in the shadows. Most of his early life was filled with fear and promises of challenges that the boy never wanted.

This was all made worse by his loving sister shining so brightly. You see she worked hard every day of her life hoping to get the attention her brother recieved but never getting it. Even when she grew far stronger than him and he lagged behind due to a lack of interest. Still their parents pushed them, sure that lee would one day realize the importance of his destiny. When he turned 18 the family finally relented on him after they pushed he and his sister into a duel and learned first hand just how wide the gap in their expectations were. Lee couldnt even touch his sister, whereas she swatted him all over the dueling grounds.

Afterwards his family finally let up on him and he was left to pursue his own goals. Which due to a severe lack of world training became lots of drinking and gambling. For five years after his 21st birthday he remained inebreated, luckily he was actually good at the gambling and his habits paid for themselves. However eventually it caught up to him. In the form of one of the worlds rival hunter families. While painfully drunk he managed to gamble away his own hand in marriage to Katya Marduk. This wound up being a life changing deal as the Marduk family only allows monsterized humans into their family, meaning Katya injected her now husband to be with a Strain of lycanthropy, however due to a vision of the future she saw she intended on making Lee into the strongest monster their family had ever seen. He was infused with the virus which had been infused with demonic Energy becoming his worlds first HellWolf.

Since then he has been on the run, his sister seeking to kill him to prevent the spread of such a dangerous monster. With Katya constantly fighting her off seeking to have Lee master his monsterous form and sire a child with her. Meanwhile Lee seeks only to be free, and make his own decisions. Eventually the two ladies of his life would clash and he would flee into a mysterious red portal hoping it would take him to a fresh new world.
