Rags and Riches (AkumaTenshi X Valentine2013)

Aurianna had just spent the entire morning at the mall. Her car was full of bags that had things she didn't really need. As she gout out of her car, she left them there. Someone would get them for her. Walking up to the door, she opened it. Her phone went off, she had a text from her best friend asking if she could come over for a movie marathon. Of course Aurianna answered yes, it wasn't like her father ever cared if she had friends over.
 
Kaito just finish his work at the mall and was thankful it was pay day. He got the money and took the bus back home. He lived in a small apartment and starts to make it up the stairs. He opens the door to see his little sister was there, she saw him and runs up to him and gives him a hug. Kaito gave her a light smile before he goes into the kitchen to make them some dinner. "Keep doing your homework Eli" he said and she gave her a small pout before she goes back to doing her work.
 
Aurianna laid on her bed texting God-knows-who about Lord-knows-what until her friend showed up. They sat in the large home theater and had a Johnny Depp marathon. They still texted and talked. Mostly about boys and what Aurianna had bought at the mall. The two had been best friends forever and knew everything about each other. "So, do you think you're going to get a new butler?" Her friend asked, remembering it had been brought up once.


"Like I know." Aurianna said back. "No one tells me stuff here until they actually happen." She added.
 
"So nii San this letter from the Montana family came for you" Eli said as she goes and hand him a letter. The letter look to be really fancy and the isgnia also looks to be fancy. Eli then continue to eat the food that kaito just made for them


"Thanks Eli and this is a good job if I get it we can live a bit better" kaito said as he opens the letter and smiles seeing that he got the job. The job would let him live in a servant house with his sister. The pay was also not that bad either and look like they could move to the house tomorrow.
 
Halfway through a movie, Aurianna got a text from her father. "It looks like I'm getting that new butler after all, Lu." She said offhandedly. "And apparently he's coming tomorrow." She sighed a little. The thing she hated most about hiring new people was the time it took them to learn the job. She paid attention to the movie again. Her and Lucy, her friend, went to her room afterwards and just talked. The next morning, Aurianna wore a short, blue skirt with a tight, black tank-top. She left her long hair down. She and Lucy went to the dining room for breakfast.
 
Kaito and Eli make it to the mansion and was amazed at how big it looked. A nice maid showed them both to the servant housing and to thier room. The new room was a bit bigger but it was just perfect since everything looked so new. They had just pack a few thinks of thier and he set it all down in the room. He had to get ready for his first day so he took a shower and slick back his normaly spiky hair. He puts on the butler outfit and his glasses. He follows the head butler as he leads him to the dining room.


"Lady aurianna this is the new butler and he will also be one of your personal butlers" the head butler said with a light now and guesture to kaito.


Kaito gave aurianna a bow and he looks up at her. "My name is kaito Hiragi and I will be following your orders from now on lady aurianna" he said politely to her.
 
Aurianna looked up and rolled her eyes a little. How many times had she told them not to call her 'lady'? It was just creepy. This new guy didn't look that old, maybe her age. Or a little older, not that she really cared. Lucy seemed fascinated by him, Aurianna, not that much. "Okay, first, don't call me 'lady.'" She told him. "It's just Aurianna." Maybe if she stopped him soon enough, he wouldn't do it.
 
"Okay then if you wish so Aurianna" kaito said with a light smile before he went behind her. The job was simple it was to do whatever she said and do it to the letter. This job to him was a blessing since it also provided a nice house which at the moment he had a nice old maid look after Eli for him. He stood there waiting for whatever order she was going to give him.
 
Aurianna knew he was waiting for her to say something. She had noticed that no one had taken her bags in from the car. "You can take the bags in my car up to my room." She said to him, speaking nicely. She was rich, not totally rude. "The keys are next to the front door and my room is on the third floor." She added. "My name is on the door. You can't miss it."
 
"Okay I will" kaito said as he got the keys and went to the car. He got the bags from the car and went to her room. He unlocks the door and puts the bag into her room. One of the maids told him that they needed someone to clean some leaves from the gutter. Kaito agreed to it but he couldn't find the ladder. He took off his butler coat and set it on a pedestal. He was able to jump and climb to the roof and he started to clean it.
 
Aurianna turned to Lucy when he was gone. "Is it me or does he seem young?" She asked. Lucy shrugged a bit. She clearly didn't care that he had only seemed about their age. Neither did Aurianna, really, it was just a bit weird.


"So, you thinking the mall today?" Lucy asked. She wanted to get new clothes.


"Can't, I'm hanging out with Dante." Aurianna said. Dante was her new boyfriend.
 
Kaito finishes the cleaning the leaves and climbed back down. He puts the suit back on and clean his hand. He then comes back to aurianna. "I put the bags in your room aurianna" he said as he stood behind her again.
 
"Thank you." Aurianna said. She was glad that he wasn't calling her 'lady.' Lucy managed not to stare at him this time. She always did that.


"So, when is Dante coming over?" She asked. Aurianna shrugged. Dante never said and she really didn't care when. She wasn't sure if she liked him all that much or why she even agreed to go out with him. But he was nice enough and she didn't mind right now.
 
Kaito just stood there and looks around to see how grand the room really was. It look really expensive and he felt a bit out of place. He was so used to living in a small apartment so it was going to take a while to really get used to this. He just look at his charge and sees she was atleast the same age as him.
 
Lucy and Aurianna finished their breakfast. "We'll be in my room." Aurianna told him. They went back upstairs and then Aurianna showed Lucy what she had bought yesterday. There were a few skirts, shirts, and jewelry.
 
Kaito gave her a nod before he went upstairs and stood outside the door of her room. He didn't really know if he could go in but decided just to wait outside for any orders she would give him.
 
Aurianna and Lucy put music on, it blared throughout the room. Though another reason they played it was so no one could hear them talking. "So, you think that guy is boyfriend material?" Lucy asked. Aurianna just looked at her.


"I don't think so." She said. "Besides, it's just creepy how he's going to practically follow me around. It's weird."
 
Kaito stood there out of her door and just gives a sigh. This was a bit boring but he had to deal with it. He goes over a window and looks down to see Eli with an elderly maid tending to the garden. He gives a light smile seeing she was happy where they are. He only cared for his sister well being and even if he had to take 10 jobs to make her happy he would do it with no hesitation.
 
Aurianna got a text from Dante, he was pulling in the driveway. Lucy took that as her cue to leave. The door opened and Lucy walked out. Aurianna looked at Kaito. "I have a guest, could you show him up here please?" She asked. She knew it was his job, but she almost wanted to be nicer to him than she had been to most of the other attendants. There was only one person here she treated like family. The maid who had practically raised her.
 
"Yes I will do it at once" kaito said as he gave her a light now and goes down stairs. He goes out the front door to see a car pulling up and a guy came out. "You must be the guest arurianna talked about let me escort you to her room" he said in a polite tone ready to escort him to her room.
 
Aurianna watched him go. She left the door open for now, so she didn't have to open it again. She tried to make herself at least look like she was excited to see Dante. Maybe she was dating him because he was the popular guy in school and it's what everyone expected.


Downstairs, Dante looked the new guy up and down. He just nodded a little and followed him.
 
Kaitoo led him to her room and he looks at aurianna. "Your guest is here" he said as he gave her a now an led in Dave. "Well if that is all I will be on my way" he said with a now and walks out the room and stood outside again.
 
Aurianna looked up at them. "Hey." She said to Dante. He closed the door after Kaito left and music filled the room again. He walked over to her and sat down on the bed as well.


"So, who's that guy?" He asked. Aurianna shrugged as he leaned in and kissed her. It tasted a bit weird, like alcohol. Not that Aurianna cared much.
