  Forced into an unsteady alliance, six races have called upon young heroes/heroines to receive the power of the Oracles and face the Origin. Summoned to the last world, the chosen must journey across the Wastes and through the depths of the Hollow to find and defeat the Origin.

  Memoria

  "The past shall not be forgotten."
  
  
  The old ways have been refined, but they are still the old ways. Gunpowder marked the end of our age, but we have survived through the memories of our descendants. Masters of armed combat and skilled craftsman are the foundation of our race. Be it sword, lance, or bow or any other weapon we have mastered it. Able to recollect the memories of our ancestors old, their knowledge becomes our strength. The Prime Memory is the greatest treasure or our race. The greatest among us can project memories into reality.
  
  
  Armed Combatant: Passive - Skilled with all physical/melee weapons, includes ranged items. No guns.
  
  
  Perfect Memory: Passive - No need to explain.
  
  
  Thought Passage: Active - Able to give and take memories through skin contact.
  
  
  Recollection: Active - Convert a physical item into astral/energy and store it as a memory. Create a recall point.
  
  
  Realization: Active - Project memories into reality, i.e., summon an item. Move to a recall point.
  
  
  

  Novamen

  "Strive to see the future."
  
  
  What can we think of next has always been the question. In all fields of science we aspire to reach a plateau where all theories meet as one. Gunpowder was only a small beginning in our advancement. Innovating anything and everything to a level beyond normal comprehensio yet still provable by experimentation. If you want a gun you've come to the right place, but if your want something for meleeing we might have a few things in development. The Prime Theory is our one true goal as a race. The greatest among us have bones of metal surging with energy.
  
  
  Advanced Arms: Passive - Adept with any weapon that is powered by some energy, usually a mechanized item.
  
  
  Metal Frame: Passive - Bone is replaced with a lightweight metal that allows for storage of high electrical charges.
  
  
  Technologically Inclined: Active - Base understanding of all technology through internal/external scanning.
  
  
  Innovation: Active - Upgrade items with base materials.
  
  
  Surge: Active - Increase weapon damage and movement speed by energizing the body and weapon with internal energy.
  
  
  

  Elemetum

  "We are one with the world."
  
  
  The world has its own voice that only we can hear. It has its own will that we follow. Precious are the resources of the world. Having communed with the will of the world we join with it body and soul to protect what matters most. Meld with the elements and animate them with the will of world. Water, air, fire, earth, the base elements but there exists the Prime Element. Something that one cannot fathom as it controls the world. The greatest among us have gone past the base elements in fusion.
  
  
  World Power: Passive - Uses the elements for everything from fighting to healing.
  
  
  Elemental Affinity: Passive - Allows one to sense the aura of a particular element.
  
  
  Material Sense: Active - With focus one can perceive the world through the elements.
  
  
  Animation: Active - Control the element as you would your own body.
  
  
  Fusion: Active - Combine with/the elements and move through them.
  
  
  

  Domitor

  "All life should be treated equal."
  
  
  We are but one kind in a world filled with others. We have sentience far greater than those among us, but we should raise our brothers and sisters without discrimination. All life deserves a chance. If one can move beyond appearance and communicate on equal ground then one true peace is possible. Others may shun us for our ideals and what we have become but we believe in the Prime Being. The one creature who is all and can be all. The greatest among us shift between the physical forms given to them through the bloodline.
  
  
  Bloodline: Passive - Animal nature and features.
  
  
  Bond: Passive - Spiritual link between one and their beast.
  
  
  Bloodlust: Active - Enhanced sense along with adrenaline.
  
  
  Communication: Active - Direct communication through thought.
  
  
  Shift: Active - Enter the changed state of your ancestors.
  
  
  

  Inflexio

  "A dynamic being can survive all challenges."
  
  
  Live off the land and move with the seasons. The world is harsh, but we are strong. Every challenge is a chance to grow stronger. We live for this growth and when one dies we learn from their mistakes. Some may say it's survival of the fittest, but even they may die. Only the best can claim to be a true survivor. One must seek challenges in a life of never ending struggle. Only by passing on that growth to the next generation can one claim to be close to the Prime Form. The pinnacle of humanoids that exist in a way that can survive any environment. We have climbed mountain, swam oceans, dived trenches, and lived in the most hostile environments without yielding to the world. The greatest among us are nomads seeking ever more challenging lands.
  
  
  Master Form: Passive - Experts in all forms of unarmed combat.
  
  
  Powered State: Passive - The body is always ready for combat.
  
  
  Focus: Active - A state of utter attention that cannot be broken.
  
  
  Adaptation: Active - Change yourself to suit the environment or situation.
  
  
  Beserk: Active - Massive increase in respiration allowing near unlimited energy.
  
  
  

  Phantasia

  "We will create a better world."
  
  
  The mind is held back by the limits of the body. But what if those limits didn't exist, what if the mind could control the world around us? The thoughts that go by without a chance at creation are the ones that fuel our power. Imagine a world where you are in control, albeit partially. If you can think it then it shall be. Manipulate the world as you see fit so long as your mind can handle the strain. Power takes concentration to control. With this power the few of us that exist have always sought a better world. Now is our chance to create one. The Prime World will be the perfect world. The greatest among us are reborn upon death eternal.
  
  
  Matter Control: Passive - The world is yours to manipulate.
  
  
  Perception: Passive - See the world and the astral within it.
  
  
  Omniscience: Active - Momentarily release your senses to gain insight.
  
  
  Imagination: Active - Your mind can control the world.
  
  
  Rebirth: Active - Death is simply a release.

  Ultima is the last world of the Primitus. The majority of the planet has been reduced to nothing but an endless sea of tainted astral. The lone land mass is a continent by the name of Meditiullium. The Origin feeds on what's left of the world like a parasite, infecting life and the terrain to control them. A small area was captured by the Alliance and acts as the starting point of the journey across the Wastes. There are several points across the continent that lead into the Hollow, a subterranean system of caves that stretches deep into the planet. All entrances eventually meet the same path, but what differs among them may mean life or death.

  Depending on the number of participants multiple teams may be formed. I'm hoping each team will have one character of each race. If there are enough participants I'd like teams to be discussed ahead of time in the OOC tab. The RP will start with all characters being summoned to the southern region of Meditullium where the Alliance has a small operation point. You'll move as separate teams each deciding on which path through the Wastes to take to a Hollow entrance.
  
  
  Everything you encounter will be hostile. In most cases I'll 'spawn' things to battle you. Enemies have three tiers: Nobles, Elites, Primes. Nobles are your basic non unique enemies. You control them in a combat post. Elites are unique enemies. I control them, but later they will appear as often as Nobles, in which case control will be switched to you. Primes are unique enemies that I fully control and serve many purposes within the RP.

I would be very interested in participating in this RP if you'd be willing to have me, but I don't understand; are all races human in appearance or is that the decision of the player? Also if possible, may I please reserve the Domitor character?

All races have a human appearance for simplicity. I'm pretty open to anything so long as humanoid in appearance. For instance the Domitor race would be similar to demi-humans in other media. I'll allow reserving of spots, so congratulations on being the first Domitor. @Abyss


@Seraph Darkfire I'll edit the races tab to include more specific abilities, I was going for an overview or summary of the races for simplicity.

@Macbeth The setting of the RP is the home world of an ancestor race that has long since been extinct. Only one continent is left and it too has been tainted by the Origin. At first this was the location of the Celestial Gatherings, where humanoid races would wage war to gain the favor of the Oracles. Now there is nothing but ruins and decaying lands. The Origin has changed some of the continent to suit its needs.


The races have been in contact since the first Celestial Gathering, they only know of battle and death. They know some basic knowledge of the other races, they speak a common language but each has their own history. The most positive interaction between them happened during the seventh Celestial Gathering where culture was shared between races through captured warriors.


Since all races are more or less human expect similar creatures as those found on earth but with a twist for their own planet and then there are the infected ones found on Ultima.


I'll be happy to add more if you want. @Seraph Darkfire I finished the two other races. Like I said just ask if you need more information.

I would love to be able to play a Phantasia character if possible; however, I was wondering if you could talk about what exactly astral means for instance is it the mana of the world or some sort of life energy?

@Unlucky Astral is basically mana and life energy. In this RP's lore astral is a form of energy all matter possesses. Astral is what allows all these races to do the inhuman things they do. How it is used differs among them. Astral technically breaks the law of energy conservation. It is created by the universe and destroyed by the origin.

Also does each individual have all the abilities listed below their race or only a select few?

When I read the description of the class it made me think of a sort of mix between a druid and wizard. Is that about what you were going for? I have a few general ideas for the character already.

@Syvas If I were to compare it to other media it would be like benders from avatar. Druid sounds more nature inclined whereas Elemetum uses the non living elements. It's closer to a wizard in that sense but has the feel of a druid when it comes to protecting their element.

Sounds good. Can't wait to get this started. I know you wanted humanoid characters, any objections to me giving this race a sort of elven feel? I wanted to use one for his picture. I just kinda like the pointy ears and such. Haha.
