Restorative dental work and an amputation of the left leg have left Sera with significant medical debt.

As a person raised in the Drain, Sera is extremely grateful for the opportunity to become an employee of Jorowa Industries. She is an inspirational figure to struggling workers and a living testament to the power of hard work and dedication. Her hero name, 'Remix', indicates that any person can be revitalized and born anew through careful modification of ideals and behaviour. Sera Calihan has worked tirelessly over the last six years to reinvent her attitude and manner of speech and is finally able to work as a vocal servant of Heroes Incorporated and the public.

Erin Abascal's top prioritiy is the good reputation of Jorawa Industries and each of its subsidiaries. He offers his undying loyalty to its board of directors for little more than reasonable pay and mild respect. Every villian, traitor, insurgent or otherwise obstructing individual is subject to utter and immediate destruction should the company so wish. No undermining of authority, secret ridicule of the company or any other kind of slander will be tolerated without violent consequences for those involved. This all to ensure that the corporation remains in high standing with all the good people of the City. Erin believes that his superiors have ultimate authority and knows better than he what is good for him, and will work harder than any other to further Jorawa Industries interests.

Erin Abascal enjoys violence, especially for the company. Erin Abascal enjoys intimate relationships, and mind altering substances to a certain degree, but likes to work hard for the company before he plays hard for himself. Erin is afraid of disappointing his superiors.

POLICY 32-J 'Use of Employee Background in Promotional Material and Media Creations']: Erin Abascal was born on the lower levels of Jorawa Tower to a gambling drunk of a father and a wanton wench of a mother, neither of which were in good standing to take of themselves let alone a child. They lacked the monetary means to offer Erin a traditional education or schooling, so his father instead opted to teach him card tricks that he may make money by swindling instead. He became good at it, better than his father in fact, aided in no small part by the fact that his father was consistently blackout drunk. The adults he swindled however, they were seldom forgiving.

Violence and abuse was commonplace in his early childhood. He was encouraged to lie and manipulate by both his parents, and minor missteps were often punished in excess. He grew to be emotionally stunted, and reveled in the sadistic coping mechanism his mind made up to keep him safe. Other children where often the targets of his emotional outbursts, and they were often left in bad shape. Even older, more violent children bent like twigs under Erin's fists when he got angry. In his own mind he was arrogant about it, simply believing himself to be more powerful than other people by virtue of some higher purpose bestowed on him. His parents, however, noticed the trend and gathered what funds they had to have him tested.

At age 12 he was discovered to have a unique gene mixed into his genetic information, giving him powers. It must've been a spontaneous mutation sometime during his developmental years, or it had been missed during the routine screenings he went through at birth. His mother saw it as opportunity for him to rise above his caste, and with certain scientifically curious powers there was grant money to be had in return for their immediate sign up with Jorawa pre-hero educational facilities. So he was sent away to an institution to be molded into a loyal Jorawa employee.

His parents died not long after. The official lie was freak accident, the likely reality was gang violence or overdoses. Erin wasn't stupid, his parents had a lot of enemies and issues, but burdening a future hero with trivialities like mortality wasn't beneficial to his education. His psychological profile came into question for a while then, given his lackluster reaction to losing both his primary caregivers, but no evaluations reached the conclusion that his aversion to human emotion was especially detrimental to any eventual image as a hero.

Things mellowed out after that. Erin was already mentally disturbed, but being a bootlicker wasn't exactly unusual in the academy. Once he reached legal age he would become a hero under Hero Inc, and finally start his arduous climb towards his only ambition.

In reality, Erin's actual father is a high-standing nigh-board member within Jorawa named Clarke Moreau. His "father" never knew, but his mother often spoke to him about her one-sided relationship with the legendary businessman and spun stories of how Erin deserved to be part of their high standing family and how they'd both leave his adoptive father behind to live in the lap of luxury alongside Clarke. After this brief incident, the young boy happily allowed himself to be enrolled in the 'Heroes of Tomorrow' Program at Heroes Tower. This caused a stir in the Kida's household between his mother, who wished for her son to continue on the path of becoming a hero, and his father, who demanded that his son be taken off of the program and returned to mediocrity.

PERSONALITY:
Lukas is a bit of a free spirit who tends to produce better results when the rules are more akin to suggestions. His greatest fear is being dropped by the company; as not being able to pay for medication could result in his body rejecting the implanted augments and slowly tear itself apart.

BACKGROUND:
His parents weren't well off, living paycheck to paycheck only a bad financial decision away from ending up as 'drainers' at the very bottom of societies rungs. They worked hard and held Lukas and his siblings to a high standard, hoping they'd secure a better life for themselves by serving the company. It was only when some up and coming marketing associate got wind of Luke's powers and decided to sign him up for hero development for a future fashion campaign 'stunning looks' that things took a turn for the better.

Suddenly everything started to come together, with a simply discovery of his own unique ability Lukas was able to move his family from the edge of ruin to a comfortable middle tier living district, secure a decent education, become a valued member of Jorawa. All it took was a sheer endless seeming string of signatures allowing the corporation to conduct body modifications, assign mandatory clothing brands, guarantee he endorsed the correct products, trained to place his life in danger and so forth.

The sudden change in expectations and quality of life did much to shape Lukas current demeanor. He has lived on the edge of poverty and has witnessed the companies dispassionate approach toward those who do not contribute to its wealth, harboring no illusions of corporate altruism. Believing every man responsible of forging his own destiny, by willing sacrificing parts of themselves to grease the ever churning corporate cogs.
