Hey there! If you're interested in the plot just send me a PM and I'll explain more. This is loosely based on Fallout 4 and New Vegas, but no knowledge is required because this is its own thing
The basics are that this takes place years after a biological apocalypse. Over time the survivors were those with an advanced enough immune system. Years past and the population fell into what seemed like extinction. Those who survived the plague eventually waged war. Nations fell and so did society. What remained retreated and struggled to rebuild what they had.
M/C was a researcher. Well, THE researcher. Their little summer internship ended with them creating the final design for what became known as Virus 89612729. The process has a lot darker meaning and the selected few entered a cryogenic state. 200 years later, the pods suddenly fail. Being young, their system was the only one to withstand the project. A lone survivor, they scramble to find any information, failing, they next decide to leave the bunker.
They're laying in the dirt with a knife to their throat when Y/C happens to stumble into them. Y/C pretty much saves their life and offers to escort them to the nearest population hub. Along the way M/C makes a strange request and pays Y/C what must be a fortune. Their request is an escort to an undisclosed location about a weeks travel away. Agreeing, Y/C takes M/C. It's in this second research facility that M/C learns what they feared. In a world already immersed in a power struggle, someone out there now has the power to grab control, or end it for good.
It's late here and this was rushed so I promise my Rping isn't like this! For the actual rp. I ask that you post at least 4 college level (decent structure) paragraphs, but the more the better!
