  While Aria isn't technically a narcissist, she sure as hell could pass for one. Not that she's completely self-absorbed or anything, but she is standoffish and tends to keep to herself. She's never had the chance to really make friends or acquaintances and only interacts with her fans, whom she's incredibly kind to, or people who work for her or her father, whom she's not so nice to for the most part. Aria is stubborn as they come and anxious when it comes to new people, but she hides this behind tantrums and anger because she's embarrassed of being so anxious. She just wants to be liked, she was an idol after all, that's what she was taught.
  
  Her love lies with Pokemon though, and all thoughts go out the window when she sees a cute one, it's as if her anxiety up and vanishes and she can suddenly ask to pet or cuddle it. She likes to think she gets along better with the creatures than she does humans, but really she just hasn't been able to put in the effort.   Aria found her partner in Eevee when she was relatively young. Growing up on Delphia Island near the Garden of Harmony, she would play with the wild Pokemon, dancing and singing to her little heart’s content! When she was eight she found an injured Eevee and took it to the Pokemon Center to help it back to health. Nurse Joy let her stay with it while it was resting and after that, Eevee never left her side again. The two were joined at the hip.
  
  Her family raised her to be incredibly caring when interacting with Pokemon, and for a while she had a fear of battling due to the thought that it was hurting them. However, after being attacked by an older kid, her partner, Eevee, jumped in and showed her that it liked battling. After this she grew more comfortable with the idea and eventually found her dream of competing in contests to show her unique style of battling.
  
  She’s incredibly compassionate and has always had dreams, but usually puts others first, even when she shouldn’t have to. It’s been that way her whole life and she doesn’t know a different way. Unbeknownst to most, Aria is one of those people who thinks almost everything is funny. She laughs at just about everything except puns, those aren’t for her. Once she comes out of her industry crafted shell, Viola has a sarcastic and sometimes mean side that she has to watch herself with, but it’s only because her personality has been repressed for all those years.
  
  By the time Aria was fifteen, her father was on the verge of being fired from his managing gig due to no successful acts coming through. It was always a known fact that Viola could sing, and she’d dance alongside her Pokemon when practicing new techniques for contests, but in order to save her Dad she offered herself as a new star, thinking it would be fun. Although it started out that way, by the time she turned twenty, things were far from fun. Viola came to realize her father was just using her to bring in money and now that she was an adult, she wanted out.
  
  Of course her love for music and performing never left, but she was simply worn out from all of the touring and press events that felt like they’d never end all through her teenage years. Now, she’s back in Santoris, living in a quaint cottage close to Elder Elyssia so she can learn everything she knows. Aria has become somewhat of an elder in training underneath Elyssia and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Though, there are days where she longs to perform again, she simply puts that creative energy into songwriting and selling them off to other idols, continuing to make money that way.   Happy, outgoing and positive, Orpheus is someone who tries to see the best in the world. Even when things get tough he tries to find the good in the situation and does all he can to get everyone through it. A kind hearted person and a loyal friend, his love for others is only matched by his love for music.   In the shadowy streets of Spikemuth, a bustling city nestled deep within the Galar Region, a legend was born. Orpheus Gascoigne, a 23-year-old with an insatiable passion for heavy metal, rock music, and street car racing, emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Born and raised amidst the grit and fervor of Spikemuth, he found solace in the screeching sounds of guitars and the roaring engines of high-speed cars.
  
  From an early age, Orpheus was drawn to the enchanting allure of music. He spent countless hours in his garage, surrounded by stacks of amplifiers and a labyrinth of tangled cords, fervently strumming his electric guitar. The rebellious chords and pounding rhythm of heavy metal fueled his heart with unbridled energy, matching the fiery spirit that burned within him.
  
  One fateful day, as Orpheus was lost in the sonic tempest of his own creation, a curious Pokémon approached him. It was a Pawniard, its metallic blades glinting under the dim lights of the garage. The Pokémon seemed captivated by the raw intensity of Orpheus's music, as if it recognized a kindred spirit. Their eyes met, and an unspoken bond formed. Orpheus named the Pawniard "Blade" and welcomed it into his life as his first Pokémon.
  
  United by a shared love for adrenaline-fueled pursuits, Orpheus and Blade quickly became inseparable companions. They spent their days cruising the streets of Spikemuth in Orpheus's sleek, customized car, their harmonious presence commanding attention wherever they went. As they streaked through the city, their music blaring from the car's speakers, they became a symbol of untamed freedom and unapologetic passion.
  
  But Orpheus's dreams stretched beyond the realm of racing. He yearned for greatness both on the stage and in the world of Pokémon.   April is, all things considered, a pretty normal girl. She's a person who has no problem keeping her cool, even under pressure, and seems very focused and maybe even cold when focusing on something important to her, but most of the time she's just a chill person who's pretty friendly, and loves to just hang out with others, joke around, and create bonds with them. Even if she considers someone her rival or opponent, she tries her best to not be too antagonistic, figuring building bridges is better than building walls.
  
  Despite being friendly, she doesn't like talking about herself, figuring there's not much to say other than what's on the surface - if someone doesn't see that she's an ambitious girl who knows what she wants and is going to give it her all to get there, she can't help them. Anything besides that is, at least to her, not all that important. That does create a bit of a paradox for her, though... she wants people to know her name, but she also doesn't really like being in the spotlight that much. It doesn't matter that much for now, since she hasn't made a name for herself just yet, but she's hoping to learn to open up more before she (hopefully) becomes more well-known.

  Like for many other trainers, her journey started with receiving a starter from the local professor, Rowan. In April's case, it was the little fiery monkey, Chimchar. The two quickly became a well-synced duo, with April's brains and Chimchar's passion working in tandem to take on any challenge that would stand in their way.
  
  She joined the Trainers' School in her home city of Jublife, and quickly became one of the top students there, learning as much as she could about Pokemon and battling with them. Eventually, she graduated from it, but never stopped learning and honing her skills, moving to Canalave to take advantage of the huge library there. Despite how much of a dilligent student and a bookworm she is, she doesn't really present herself as your usual "nerdy" type, causing many to underestimate her, thinking she's probably the "brawn over brains" type, which couldn't be further from the truth.
  
  At the moment, she has a job helping out at said library, but her goal, like for many, is to take on the Gym Challenge, and then conquer the Pokemon League and become Sinnoh's next Champion. For now, though, she figures she still needs more experience before she's ready to tackle this dream of hers seriously... after all, her team still hasn't reached its full potential just yet.

REASON FOR VISITING SANTORIS: To prove himself as a trainer



BACKGROUND

Kama was born as the only son in a family of ranchers in Paniola Town, with his father, mother, and four sisters (three elder, one younger). Due to his androgynous appearance and physique, his sisters often played around with him and enjoyed dressing him up in dresses and with makeup, often tying his hair as well. Though intentionally-harmless fun, this gave rise to identity issues and a lack of confidence that pushed a 16 year old Kama to suddenly leave home and take on the local Island Challenge in an effort to become “stronger”.

His impulsiveness and rush to prove himself quickly landed him in a near-death experience out in the wild. He was saved by a wild Mimikyu, whom he later befriended. However, he soon dropped the Island Challenge due to his weaknesses as a Trainer and Miniki’s laziness plus refusal to actually put heart into battles. He later on joined Team Skull as a grunt, while occasionally sending letters to his family claiming he was working hard on the Island Challenge.

It took Kama two years to admit his failure. Kama quit Team Skull and returned to his family’s ranch, defeated. His parents and sisters, however, supported his former goals, helping him recuperate and train. Upon his twentieth birthday, Kama regained his resolve to start anew as a Trainer with Mimikyu.



PERSONALITY

To put it simply, Kama is meek, mild-mannered, and overall disastrous when it comes to social settings. Despite this, he is extremely earnest, and will voice out his thoughts and opinions when needed. If it is to help others, he will willingly throw himself into any situation. People around him consider Kama to be too good-natured to actually survive in the real world on his own.

He is known to be caring for humans and pokémon alike, acting like a mother figure for injured wild pokémon he comes across and nurses. Aside from that, he also possesses an adventurous spirit that loves having new experiences, though he rarely gets the chance to do so.

He often tries to act tough, going as far as dying his hair to solidify his image. However, his efforts usually do not turn out well due to him having a vague and contrived idea of strength. This results in many awkward scenarios at his own expense.

Kama faces difficulty in playing himself off as a strong, confident trainer, mostly due to his meekness. He even hesitates during battles and while catching Pokémon, and misses his throws rather often. Even with strong Pokémon, he still needs to work on playing the Trainer part of the dynamic confidently.

  Seraphina Haven is an interesting character to say the least. She is friendly to those she meets, including all Pokemon she's stumbled upon during the time she's helped out at the Pokemon Center. Very loud and has a lot of things to say, a lot of stories as well but she does all of this because she just wants to befriend everyone and Seraphina just wants everyone to be able to like her. She can also be easily excitable about her interests, if you mention one word, you might as well take a couple days off because she will talk your head off. Hardworking, and always on the go, you'll find her busy, buzzing around like a bee around the town, she does not wait for ANYONE, and if she does it's very rare and not for long. Despite the busyness of her day, she will always find a moment of time to pamper herself, dress herself up, even if that means waking up early in the morning to be the best dressed and looking person in the entire town. Underneath the friendly, and loud persona, sometimes, she meets those who she's jealous of, who she envys. The ones who get to go on adventures, have stronger and cooler Pokemon.   Seraphina was born to two working parents, both of them working in Castelia City and were constantly away on business trips. That left young Seraphina in the care of her grandparents in icirrus city, one of the coldest places in the region. As she was growing up, she watched all of her childhood friends go on their own Pokemon adventures, of course as a child Seraphina was saddened by this to be the only one left in her hometown with nobody to play. Seraphina's grandmother had seen how upset her granddaughter was about all this. So she had suggested to Seraphina that maybe they can go and visit the Pokemon Center to see the trainers who were stopping there to rest or prepare to face the gym leader that was in their town, say hi and maybe even get to meet some of their Pokemon, or even ask Nurse Joy if she needed any assistance.
  
  Overjoyed at her grandmother's suggestion Seraphina happily followed her grandmother to the Pokemon Center where she happily chatted to the people there and even learned a few things from Nurse Joy, by sunset Seraphina didn't want to go back home! For years to come, this Pokemon Center visit turned into a routine, Seraphina happily volunteered to help out there whenever she was needed. At the age of 11, Seraphina had gone out to pick up a few things for Nurse Joy, walking along the path near Dragonspiral Tower, she found a lone Vanillite lying on it's own far from where they're usually found. Concerned about the Pokemon's safety Seraphina had picked it up carefully, not worrying about the Vanillite's ice cold body temperature numbing her hands, only worrying about getting the Vanillite the help it needed. She had gotten the Pokemon back to the Pokemon Center safe and sound, Seraphina had stayed there watching Nurse Joy tend to the Vanillite for hours on end. Once the Pokemon was back up on it's feet, the Vanillite never wanted to leave Seraphina's side, constantly floating around her and playing with her while she was working. Nurse Joy had noticed on multiple occasions and had giggled to herself, telling Seraphina that she probably found the partner Pokemon for her. Seraphina was happy, but she knew she'd never really battled before or left her snowy hometown. Determined, Seraphina hastily left the Pokemon Center with her newly acquired Vanillite flying right behind proclaiming to Nurse Joy that she was "off to train" which left Nurse Joy laughing knowing that the girl didn't know where she was going.
  
  As of currently, Seraphina still continues to help out almost daily at the Pokemon Center, while training and playing with her own team of Pokemon, some she's found while helping out at the center, and others her parents had gifted when they came and visited her every so often. She's been wanting to leave her hometown for the longest time, but she still hasn't had the courage to leave her grandmother alone just yet.

  Short Backstory: Morgan Faen comes from a family that (At least so they claim) has a connection to Ghost Types. Like most Hex Maniacs they have a particular affinity for Ghost and Dark types and a tendency to lean into mysticism when addressing the topic. Naturally, Morgana Faen is not much different.
  Occupation: For lack of a better term, Morgan works to pacify troublesome Ghost and Dark types. If you're having problems with a Ghost Type in your house, odds are Morgan may or may not be able to get it to play nice or go away.
