PLOT & RULES

Plot

Gotham isn’t particularly known as “ordinary”, and its most prestigious academic institution within Gotham is an example of it. Whether it’s the aging gothic architecture, supposed supernatural activity, or an occasional visit from one of Gotham’s infamous supervillains, there’s always something the students have to gossip of. To solve all the mysteries and rumours that plagued the mind of the student body, there was a group that rose: the Detective Club.

The RP follows students of Gotham Academy as they try to unravel the ancient secrets of their institution, evade trouble from the teachers, and most exciting of all: to stop some supervillains. There’s a distinct issue, however...none of the members are even close to the caliber of the bat-family, or any other superhero in fact. Just normal high school students out of their element, tackling problems that have no business tackling. Whether they end up injured and expelled or victorious and discreet is up to their ingenuity and quick wits. While the previous iteration of the Detective Club claimed many victories and spoils, all former members have since graduated and pursued adult lives, and it’s the current Detective Club’s ambition to live up to their predecessor’s former glory.

Rules

- Basic RPN rules
- Two paragraph post minimum
- Maximum of two characters (flexible)
- Children of superheroes/supervillains and students possessing superpowers must follow strict guidelines and must be pre-approved by the GM
- One may only post within IC if two others have posted beforehand (opening posts excluded)
- Some knowledge of Batman lore is recommended (extremely basic knowledge of some supervillains, locations, etc.)
